Luminesse Laser

I cannot recommend Luminesse enough. I have been coming here for the past 2 years now and have seen exceptional results for laser hair removal. Almost 90% of it is completely gone. Staff is always friendly, professional, and proactive, and the owners are the nicest folks ever. Would recommend Luminesse (and have!) to anyone and everyone. I look forward to coming back here!!

I have gotten laser and a facial there and I have to say the service is truly unmatched! All of the staff is so welcoming and make you feel so comfortable! Adam did my first ever tattoo removal today. He answered all my questions and prepared me for this quick procedure with some numbing cream that I asked for. Because why not! Not even 5 minutes and we’re done. Slightly painful but definitely worth it to remove something I’ve grown to hate over the years. Can’t wait for this process and results.

Amazing, I went once to try it out and it absolutely worked I get Brazilian and I pretty much never have to shave. Amazing service and environment. Always makes me feel so comfortable. Definitely recommend to anyone.

I came here from New Jersey, because they have really reasonable prices and packages. But they are also the best around! I’ve been to other laser hair removal clinics and luminesse Laser is by far the best! I felt little to NO discomfort at all, because they have an air attachment that helps it feel less invasive and intense. I do my underarms and bikinis and I had no pain. I usually get anxiety going for these types of appointments because it can be painful. They do a great job, the staff is always friendly, helpful. It’s clean and they are always prompt. I went for a hydro facial and it was less expensive than in New Jersey as well. It is worth the trip over the bridge for numerous reasons to me. I highly recommend them!

Ive just finished my 4th laser hair removal treatment at Luminesse and I am beyond excited about my results. I got under arms, lip, chin, belly, full legs, and bikini and have seen almost no hair growth. I have very thick dark coarse hair from my Jewish heritage and have always struggled with body hair.. every time I would shave, I would have prickly hairs grow out almost instantaneously the same day. I hated going out in the summer, I was always embarrassed by the ruggedness of my shaved prickly legs. I had trouble feeling feminine about the situation and it ruined a lot of good moments in my life from the sheer fact of feeling uncomfortable in my own skin. I am so happy I went to Luminesse, the people are all absolute sweethearts and make me feel really comfortable and never judged. I honestly just love coming here to talk to the staff and almost wish that my hair would grow back so I can come and spend time with the workers lol. Theyre a fun bunch! I’ve been going to Luminesse for the past few years and they are truly the best. Their facility is beautiful and clean with ultra modern equipment. They provide a professional and cozy environment and the entire staff is just great and very attentive. The owners, Nicole and Adam, take pride in the quality of their services and always go out of their way to make sure their clients are satisfied. I’ve done laser tattoo removal and now I’m doing laser hair removal. I like that they use a cooling machine that blows out continuous cold air onto your skin while doing your laser treatment so that the pain is minimal (I have friends that have gone to other laser facilities that have not used a cooling machine). I always walk out of there with a huge smile and feeling great. Their prices are also reasonable and they often have sales and package deals. I love them and honestly, for the quality and results of their laser services I wouldn’t mind the price, it is worth EVERY penny!

Im a Trans Women and I received my first ever Laser Treatment today from Christina and had the greatest experience ever!! Not only was she extremely informative, the facility was so cleanly and safe as possible during this Corona epidemic, I didnt have to touch the doors with bare hands even, she gave me hand sanitizer the first second I walked in, I used a new pen to fill out the forms, just never have I seen a business so well kept. Besides the cleanliness Christina (my technician) was extremely kind and courteous explaining the procedure and asking me thru the process if I was alright with the pain. A few friends referred me and pointed me out to a great place! I live in NJ and it is totally worth the trip. The prices are great, and when you book your appointment they go over allot with the prices thru text and phone calls. Ive never seen any other facilities online that give rough estimations on the particular areas you wish to get done which helped me out allot knowing then what I had to save up. My sister and I just left Luminesse after our first laser sessions and we can not get over how great the experience was! We had separate appointments, but both had the same experience. They really have taken every precaution possible to make their clients feel comfortable and safe.We scheduled our appointments online and were contacted immediately after with digital forms to complete prior to our arrival. Once we arrived we called to see if they were ready for us and we entered individually at our appointment times. Our temperatures were taken at the door, they provided us hand sanitizer and we were immediately escorted to our rooms. We did not come in contact with anyone other than our technician and there was no waiting around. Once we were in the room, we were handed a new pen to sign our forms and the technician re sanitized everything in front of us. The appointment went smoothly and we scheduled our next appointments right in the room. When we left, we used a separate side door to avoid coming in contact with any other technicians or clients. There were even tissues at the door to use when exiting to avoid touching the handle.We highly suggest using Luminesse for your laser needs!

She was so helpful and explained how the whole process would take place, with extra precautions for after care (just in case). I went into this a virgin through a friends recommendation of this location and I cannot tell you how happy I was! I already booked my next session (2nd) with Gina for next month and CANNOT WAIT to see the ongoing results. Disclaimer: I am a big baby when it comes to any type of pain/discomfort (I know a lot of people have questions/doubts when it comes to this) but you DEFINITELY do not feel any pain; slight snapping sensation and thats about it. RECOMMENDED 100%!

I’ve always been so hesitant about trying laser especially on my face but the women in this office make you feel so comfortable with your experience and are very knowledgeable! It may be slightly painful for people with bad pain tolerance but for me I felt zero pain just minor irritation! I had such a positive experience that I will definitely be going back!

I have to admit—I was skeptical about venturing into the world of laser hair removal. First of all, being a melanin-saturated goddess, I had concerns of being burned and developing hyper-pigmented spots, post-treatment. I know that, in the past, many of “us” have avoided this treatment due to hearing the horror stories of this treatment’s predecessor, electrolysis. What you need to understand, is that these treatments—despite having the same desired intentions, are NOT the same; I strongly implore you to do your research. Anyway, this particular spa is one of Staten Island’s hidden gems. The facility is clean and the staff is top-notch. They adhere to all COVID protocols, and care about the safety of their clients and the staff.Initially, I made an appointment under the recommendation of a good friend of mine; she is not at all melanin-saturated, but, I also know she wouldn’t steer me wrong. My esthetician is Nicole and her work is phenomenal. The site from which I wanted hair removed was my chin—I didn’t have excessive hair growth, but, at 40+, I knew it was only a matter of time before the few hairs became a few too many. I bought package for 6 sessions, which seems to be the recommendation and the ideal package for consistent treatment. I gotta tell you, by session four, I really didn’t need to return! I, however, have trust issues, and I didn’t trust my follicles to behave; thus, I continued the treatment—plus, I paid for it…🤷🏾‍♀️. Every case is unique, so I always recommend speaking with your esthetician first, about what treatment is ideal for you. Anyway, it has been over a year, and my chin has no hair growth and has never been smoother, and there is no hyper-pigmentation whatsoever. I am in the maintenance stage, and I am now seeing Nicole again for hair removal on my armpits.Does it hurt? Meh…it’s uncomfortable, for sure, the first time, but only for the moment. I think it hurts more to keep plucking, waxing and damaging the skin with a temporary fix. 🤷🏾‍♀️Again, do your research on the treatment, and once you’re committed to moving forward, please choose Luminesse Laser, you won’t be disappointed.
