Victoria is a beautiful soul! I was instantly comfortable with her, and laughing 5 mins into my appointment. She is very personable.Her tattoos Are great! I love her process, and how she’s willing to listen, and adjust to what/how you want your tattoo done. She encourages you to speak up if anything isn’t to your liking, and really wants the best. I love my tattoo from her, and I can’t wait to get more!Also the vibe in her shop is super chill, and beautiful.

Victoria is so lovely and took such time to create this piece for my two fur babies. She captured them so well, took such time with the artwork for it and heard my vision. She was also so very patient during the tattoo when I was anxious or couldn’t stop moving my feet that apparently could not stop moving on their own. 😂 I love this piece and am so glad I found her!!!! I was waiting to write this review until we finished our second session so everyone could see the work Victoria does to the fullest extent. I drove a total of 20 hours for two sessions and would do it again in a heartbeat. I was told by a local artist he couldn’t cover up my tattoo and I was devastated- I needed it gone as soon as possible. The Instagram algorithm brought me Victoria aka Perfect Storm Tattoo. I can’t imagine this being done by any other artist. It was super important to me that I went to a queer artist who emphasized a comfortable and safe environment in the studio, and Victoria (and Gracie!) did just that. It’s like this- if you want a cover up, you want Victoria. Trust me.

I found Perfect Storm after another artist did a cover-up for me that I hated. Victoria spent a lot of time with me explaining her process, and listening to what I wanted. She was able to lighten the cover up tattoo in one session and then book me for another appointment after it healed. I ended up changing my mind on the design and Victoria again met with me and was beyond patient with my changes and concerns. She is professional, extremely talented and genuine. Thank you for giving me exactly what I wanted and for the positive experience. It was a pleasure to get to know you!

I got my first ever tattoo on 11/21/23. I chose Victoria/Perfect Storm because I had looked at pictures of her work on Instagram and loved the intricacy and detail present in every one, especially those of insects. (My tattoo would be of a honeybee on my left forearm.) The experience of working with Victoria - and her apprentice Gracie - was absolutely incredible. Victoria was so patient in making the changes I wanted to the original design until I felt that it was just right and she made some great suggestions in terms of image placement, orientation, and color that I hadnt thought of. Because of some back pain & mobility issues, it was more comfortable for me to lie on the table than sit in the chair. To accommodate my physical limitations, Victoria and Gracie even adjusted the height of the table for me. (I felt like I was being the most high-maintenance client, but they took everything in stride so good-naturedly and with genuine care for my comfort.) Watching Victoria ink my tattoo was fascinating, and I am beyond pleased with the final result. I will definitely return there for my next tattoo(s) and highly recommend Perfect Storm to anyone seeking a professional but fun vibe, spectacular illustrations of flora and fauna, and a willingness to make reasonable accommodations for clients well-being.

Victoria is the most genuine, kind, and caring person that I’ve ever met. She’s an incredible artist with so much talent. She gave me three beautiful pieces that I’m so obsessed with! One of those pieces was a cover up that several other artists were not willing to take on. Victoria looked at my previous tattoo for about two seconds and then said she could take on the project - and she did an amazing job at that! She treats you more like a friend than a client, which makes the experience so much more fun. I’m so bummed that I’m moving out of NY, but I’d travel miles to have Victoria tattoo me. I couldn’t recommend a better artist. I’m incredibly grateful for the pieces that she was able to give me and I feel so lucky to have her work on my body.

V is absolutely amazing. I, vaguely, described the tattoo I wanted to get as a tribute to my cousin that passed away and she created exactly what I was looking for. She created an environment where I felt completely safe and comfortable during my appointment. Not only is she crazy talented but she is a genuinely great person. I cannot recommend her enough!

Getting tattooed is a nerve wracking process for me, and I’m certain I’m not alone. Will I like the artist’s design? Will it be what I was expecting? Will I have the nerve to say so if not?The way Victoria runs her business avoids all of that, from the phone call to schedule, to the in person consultation to the last stroke of her machine, when she asked if there was anything that needed to be changed or added. I have never felt so cared for in a tattoo experience. My tattoo holds a special, personal meaning, and will also be a constant reminder of what it feels like to hold space for one another as we share in this gorgeous and often painful human experience.

I got my first tattoo from Victoria a few months ago, and just booked another! She’s so easy to talk to, and made sure to ask about every detail of the tattoo to make it come out exactly how I wanted. I went into my appointment having no idea what I was getting done, and she spent so much time drawing something up for me. Victoria is a next level tattoo artist. No cringy vibes here, the shop is immaculate, warm and welcoming. The prices are reflective of the amazing skill that she has. Its going to be hard to find a better, kinder artist in Syracuse besides dear Raymond who shares the space. 10/10 recommend

Got my first tattoo by Victoria. I made a great choice trusting her with my vision. I told her what I wanted & the styles I love and she sketched multiple amazing artwork pieces. It was hard to choose. My tattoo is 5 years old now but hasn’t shown any of those years. Still looks like the freshly healed tat. She is great at asking how you’re tolerating the pain & making you feel comfy in the shop. She explained the tattoo aftercare process so thoroughly. She also has such a soft touch my tattoo was as painless as it could be for a rib cage tattoo.

Victoria is the most collaborative artist I’ve ever worked with! She spent hours getting the details of my piece right to make sure I would love it. Her art is amazing. My tattoo was a coverup and you legitimately cannot see any of the original tattoo. She also opened my eyes to the potential of coverups. Victoria is the BEST. I drove 5 hours from Boston to get work from her, and honestly, I would’ve driven farther. She’s the most detail oriented and passionate artist I’ve had the great luck of discovering. She’s so communicative and ensures a comfortable and thorough experience — I felt immediately comfortable and as though she was someone I’ve known and worked with for years! I came in with a jacked up owl tattoo, and I didn’t have high hopes for whatever I would come out with. My experience with Victoria from start to finish was nothing but positive, enjoyable and 100% professional. I recently went to her for a custom piece, she made my horrible drawing into the beautiful vision I was looking for! I can’t put into words how wonderful her work is. I’m also a clean freak and the way she cleans everything was amazing and very important to her too. She is friendly, conversational, and very thorough in her practice. Victoria is literally my favorite ever. Not only as a tattoo artist but as a person. I know I can always trust her to be honest and do a great job. So, Victoria is one of the most special people Ive ever met I dont even know where to begin! First time I met her was back in 2018 and she kept a shop open a couple hours late so she could take a random walk-in (me). Kept going back to her after that. Victoria was just so kind and detail oriented and was so thoughtful and thorough! We sat together to make my design and she was patient as I went back and forth on what type of design I wanted. Her studio is so beautiful and there’s so much stuff to look at when you need a distraction as you sit. She also had toys for me to play with to distract me as well. She was good about explaining everything and going through each ingredient of her products to make sure I didn’t have any allergies to the topical solutions she uses. I’ve been to her for two different tattoos around 5-6 hours all together, and one of them being my first ever. Sometimes you meet people and totally connect. This was the way with V. She made me feel like working on MY tattoo was the only thing important to her. She takes the time to understand what you want to create, and, just as importantly will talk to you about the pros and cons of what you want to do, which is incredibly underrated because she isnt afraid to save you from yourself. She has been great with making my ideas real (as I cant draw a straight line and have struggled in the past with getting the idea I have in mind converted into a viable design when working with other artists).Her shop is immaculate, with a great atmosphere, and of course she only uses the best ink and equipment. Additionally, she explains whats going on with each step in the process, and most of all its readily apparent that she takes great pride in what she does, which virtually guarantees not only that youre going to love the finished product but youll also be back for more.

I’ve gotten two tattoos done by Victoria so far. She is personable, down-to-earth, understanding, patient, and an extremely talented artist. She did two thigh pieces on me, and after those two I am confident she’s the artist I’ll be going to as long as I live in Syracuse. The atmosphere of the studio and Victoria’s demeanor make you, and any guests you bring, feel like she’s an old friend. Ok so I decided to have Victoria do my first ever tattoo. Not only was she BEYOND thorough with general prep and disinfecting (middle of COVID right now) but the attention to detail, understanding, and also care she gives is 1000/10. I am planning a whole sleeve with her now cause it was literally enjoyable. Yes getting stabbed with needles (and I have a phobia) was enjoyable. I was always u see the impression it was this teeth clenching pain but in fact it was a bit unpleasant for parts but those are the ones that are always said to be unpleasant. If you want an artist who has killer original art, cares deeply about the client, and is fantastic at making any experience pleasant and enjoyable, you need to go here. A+ will always come back!

Someone who will be there from start to finish?Victoria took an idea I had and drew up an original piece for me, which she was more than willing to edit until I was completely happy with it before the actual tattooing. It came out even better than I had imagined it could be, and she responded promptly to my messages when I got unnecessarily freaked out during the healing process (only my second tattoo, and I’m a worrier.) She made me feel safe and cared for from beginning to end. I’m pretty sure everyone leaves this shop as a friend.

All through school, this girl AWLAYS had an amazing talent with art. As soon as she was tattooing on her own, I got a piece done by her and it is one of my absolute FAVORITE tattoos! I literally went into my appointment with her, and sat there for hours, while she drew up the perfect tattoo and made sure it was the right fit. The point of a deposit is to protect the artists time. After an 15 minute digital consult call I paid a $100 deposit for an appointment 5 months out. I moved a month later and was returned $0 even tho no art was made. Charging me $400/hr is disrespectful to my work and is terrible business ethics.
