Shep is one of the best artist in Toledo. Very easy to work with and always so creative when I need a little help with my crazy ideas! The amount of compliments I get from his work is insane.

The best tattoo shop in Toledo. Every artist there I’ve interacted with have been pleasant and very welcoming. Over the past year I’ve had all my sessions done with an artist named Slurm. The outcomes have always been over the top amazing work and also an amazing experience. I’m honored to have numerous pieces from his tattoo flash inked on me. The guy is truly a master of his craft. I’ve definitely found my tattoo doctor. 🤘🏻

I’ve got multiple tattoos by Slurm. He’s a great artist, always does what I’m looking for, and he’s fun to hang out with. Very clean shop and reasonably priced (yes, not the cheapest but tattoos are not something to bargain shop for).

Don’t work with Slurm.First tattoo here with another artist was great. Decided for my second that I would like to come back. Slurm was the artist I scheduled with. I drove an hour to get to this 6pm appointment. I arrived at 5:45pm, and Slurm didn’t come to help me until 6:15pm. He then went to make a design and didn’t come back until 6:45pm. It was nothing like the reference photos so I had to ask him to rework it twice. I wanted exactly what I sent in the reference photos. He finally got me to his booth at 7pm. After putting the stencil on my arm he looked at the clock and said he actually had “…another appointment 8pm…” so he couldn’t do my tattoo. I asked him how long the design would take and he said “probably 2.5 hours.” Slurm scheduled my appointment for 6pm, knew what design I wanted, and knew it would take 2.5 hours to complete. 6pm + 2.5 hours = 8:30pm if he started right away, which he did not, he wouldn’t have time for his 8pm appointment. I had to drive an hour back with no tattoo and 4 hours of my time wasted, and a stencil stain that didn’t come off for 3 days.I even tried to give him the benefit of the doubt and reschedule with him like he asked me to. But he’s since stopped responded to my messages.

Good tattoo’s but they start the timer and charge you for time not being tattooed they should have everything ready but this tattoo place seems to struggle with getting everything ready before hand also my tattoo artist the boss of the shop came picked him up and was gone for 15 minutes during the tattoo yet timer was still goin

I don’t know why someone would be so rude. If I remember correctly his man was slerm. Maybe he was having a bad day but I am never going back. This guy wants to rush. Make rude comments, and made me hate the experience… when I get a tattoo I should be able to get what I WANT not what the designer wants. I make the choice not them they should never make me feel like that.. never again..

I have been going to Danny at Brass Monkey for over a year now. Danny has been amazing, especially considering my sometimes over the top, scatter brained requests. He is turning my ideas into a work of art. I am SO excited to see the finished masterpiece! The staff is friendly, and the place is clean. The overall design and style in the place speaks to the unique, creative minds that will be doing your work.

Shep did absolutely amazing!! I walked in with a rough idea and he was able to freehand an awesome piece for me. All the staff seem awesome, really easy to work with. Shep is definitely my go to guy now!

Incredible expierence, best tattoo I have ever had. My artist made time for me and my friend to get in early to get our pieces down.. he listened and created incredible work! Me and my boyfriend both went there to get decent size tattoos and the place was really sweet and comforting. We had Josh who was an awesome artist and was really cool to talk to. They have good deals and the quality is a perfect 10.

Very professional when it comes to health and well being of a client but amazingly laid back when it comes to character of the artists. No corners are cut when it comes to quality. If and when you come in, ask for Anthony Nicely. Great guy with even better skills.

Shep did a recent tattoo that meant a lot to me. I felt like I needed a fellow nerd to do it. I have a low pain tolerance and he did an amazing job clean work, great lines, and he was fun to talk to. This shop has grown so much since it opened and Im sad I ever left them.

Awful. Was told that the tattoo I wanted couldn’t be done because it wasn’t what he wanted to do? And then a simple tattoo became a whole sleeve because they refused to try and size it down. Much rather go to ink and iron in downtown Toledo. Way better results.

Great shop but Deano from Oregon Ohio and now Toledo Ohio needs to calm down. Covid-19 is a very real disease that people can contract and it is exceedingly disabling and painful 😖 while you have it, which Is why people are afraid to catch it. If you don’t respect that, what do you respect? Ok... Now that we’re on a level playing ground and can discuss things like medical concerns in a tattoo parlor where people are piercing their skin and bleeding and AIDS used to be a big issue there as well as his Hepsie maybe we need to calm down do you know and stop criticizing people who don’t want to catch COVID-19 while you H into peoples skin when you’re told to follow certain health protocols that you wish not to follow while mouthing off about the federal government is trying to protect you wanna state and county level

I went with my daughter who had 3 tattoos done in one appt. Very nice work, clean and efficient. Very reasonably priced.

Wouldn’t even give one star honestly. They gave me a quote and then tried making me pay an extra $200 on top of it. They were very rude and I definitely will not be going to this shop.

Went in looking for a piercing. I was told they dont do that sort of thing. When asked about a quarter sized tattoo told it would be 75$. Seems a little steep to me.
