I’ve had two tattoos by Madison, this one being my most recent. She talked with me throughout the entire process and gave me some great suggestions/ideas. She takes pride in her work & I highly recommend her.The line work is clean and precise, from the details on the blanket (designs & color), the shadows on the face, and the white outlining throughout.She did an excellent job helping me merge the diverse elements (Jason mask, Linus, my nephews blanket, and my brothers handwriting) into a cohesive and visually appealing piece

I absolutely LOVE this tattoo shop and all the artists! The experience is always top tier, and the tattoos are so amazing. The artists are always chill, listen to everything I have to say, and they are always so sweet! I have been only coming here for my tattoos!! Absolutely fantastic environment. I got my nipples pierced here by AJ, and I have terrible anxiety. They all went above and beyond to make sure everything was at my pace, and made me as comfortable as they possibly could, giving me tons of friendly tips for before and after the piercing. Would absolutely recommend this place to anyone looking to get a piercing done!!!

Had a group come in for walk in piercings and instantly greeted so warm and welcoming, walked through the waiver signing and offered free snacks and water! Piercing was done by AJ. He pulled out all of our jewelry options with us and was so amazing through the whole process. Highly recommend coming here!

I got a piercing done by Al and he was amazing and very friendly. I got my triples done and the piercing was amazing. Everything was clean and he answered every question and was very experienced. Everyone there was amazing! Highly recommend

Went to get a few ear piercings today, Brandon was very open and honest with what would work best for the size and shape of my ear. He pierced my forward helix and it was surprisingly not painful. Very personable and will use them again in the future!

Let me start off by saying this will be my only place I go to ever to get another tattoo BRANDON was amazing I had a rosary that needed help I had gotten by two different tattoo artist so that’s what they called themselves was so unhappy with it and BRANDON did a cover up and made me fall In love with my new rosary tattoo he was very patient and listened to my concerns and what I imagined what my rosary tattoo was supposed to look like he made it happen. Thank you so much I am in love love with it. Can’t wait for my next session in two weeks. if there was more stars to give, I would. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Brandon was amazing! Took his time listening to what I wanted! He made me so comfortable!! I’m very skeptical about going to a different artist for my art work. I was so impressed with Brandon!! Brandon did an amazing job piercing my sister’s industrial and my triple. He made sure that everything was lined up perfectly and he was super friendly. I recommend him highly as a piercer and will plan to go back in the future if I ever get another piercing!

This was our first time to the shop and we had an appointment with Brandon. The shop was amazing, it was clean and the decor was awesome. This was definitely one of the nicest tattoo shops I’ve ever been to. Brandon was fantastic he was up front and honest about the design we wanted, he told us what would work and what wouldn’t. He wasn’t one of those artists that just wanted your money. He actually freehanded our design, no stencil which was mind blowing. Amanda is amazing! I had a shoulder piece done by her and it turned out perfectly. She is reasonably priced and was very easy to communicate with about what I wanted and super easy to chat with during the actual tattooing. The shop is super clean and I felt very comfortable there. They are taking all the proper COVID precautions. After shopping around and chatting with various artists, visiting various shops etc i have to say I felt the most welcome and comfortable at this one. I stopped by the shop and was greeted by Brandon hehad clients but told me if I wanted he would fit me in.I waited and I was glad I did. Brandon customized me a tattoo and tweaked it for me until I was happy. I highly recommend Beyond the Chair Tattoos and I will be back for more.

I appreciated the ease of scheduling an appointment via FB messenger. Brandon is down to earth, professional and very talented. Ive been to other tattoo studios where the environment is really loud and not very comfortable. This is not the case at Beyond the chair Tattoo in Shelby Township. Brandon gave me suggestions on tattoo placement/angle of design and Im glad I took his advice. I recommend this artist and business and will be a returning customer.

I had Brandon as my tattoo artist. He did an amazing job on my bee tattoo. This was his first time doing a small life like bee tattoo and he did an excellent job. Im super happy with how the whole piece turned out. Thank you so much!! I will definitely be returning in the future for more work.

If you are reading this review, it’s a sign to get a tattoo from Amanda or Brandon. My father had passed from Covid 11/30 & we finally had my sister in town. We wanted to get something for our dad. I had virgin skin but also some not so great experience with flakey artist. Amanda & Brandon took me in and made me feel so comfortable. The best part is that because my sister & I are so different having Amanda & Brandon put their own style into our piece matched our personalities. Both of the artists never show up on time. Takes them hours before they finally start to tattoo your skin and they constantly take smoke breaks in between. Talks only about their life problems the entire session. A 2 hour tattoo turns into a 4 hour tattoo just so they can milk you for your money. Definitely wouldn’t recommend going to get tattooed at this location.

The service is great, their work is SUPERB, and the people that work there are phenomenal.In short: this place is great!

Met with Brandon gave him pics and $100 deposit. He scheduled appointment and after i waited 45 min he messaged me emergency arose. Scheduled again this time running late text received 20min after start. Got the 5min away message, I left after 90mins. Visited shop 9days later got pics, he kept $100 deposit🤔
