Jessica Beth is amazing! She has completed a half sleeve for me in two sessions started in September 2020 (inside forearm) and just completed the rest the beginning of November. I cannot wait to move up the arm. Fast, efficient and has a light hand! Which is what I love about her! She’s so sweet! Listens to what you want and delivers it in her own style of uniqueness to where no one walks out with the same thing! A truly beautiful woman inside and out!

I decided to get my very first tattoo (half-sleeve). Brandon W. took me in for a consultation asked me what I wanted and he delivered it perfectly! Josiah Johnson has been the artist I have used I have nothing but great thing to say about how clean the shop is and care detail work he has put into all of the pieces of art I have on me. Decided after 43 years to get my first tattoo. Wanted something I could dedicate to my sons. Brandon Wattenbarger is an artist who respects what a tattoo means to the client and did awesome work. He took his time, paying attention to each detail and wasn’t satisfied until all the little things were addressed, really making the difference in his work. I allowed him to use his creativity and it was the right call, as he added subtle details that would never have occurred to me. He made this first experience a great one and I’ll looking forward to future work from him!

I’ve had two tattoos done here by Ian. The business was under strict COVID19 precautions even in the wake of the pandemic. I initially wanted Josiah to do my Roman fasces b/c I liked his realism the most. However, he basically pawned me off on Ian. Ian did an alright job so I went back to him for a commemorative piece honouring my maternal great grandfather’s rank in WWII, seen on my wrist, & the lines aren’t as straight as I’d like. My main gripe is that the ink used at this parlor seems to be fading much more quickly than my fist ever tattoo: the crab from a walk-in at Big Top.

Had Brandon do a smaller tattoo for my grandpa that passed away recently. I gave him the idea I was looking for and Brandon didn’t disappoint. He was super invested in the details of the tattoo and even gave me some changes to make that would help with the longevity of the tattoo overtime. He cares a lot about what he does and makes sure you are comfortable during the whole process. Thanks Brandon for making such an important tattoo come to life for me so easily! 100% recommend this place. Everyone was very welcoming.

Ive done my research over the years for a tattoo artist that I can connect with and get the best experience possible. I finally decided I was going to get my first tattoo after years of wanting one. After searching the web for months and asking around for recommendations, I found Jessica Beth.Right from when I walked into the shop the atmosphere was very friendly, you are greeted right away and asked if you need any assistance. All of the artists are very friendly and talented. Jessica was a sweetheart and very patient when listening to what I wanted to get done. After time, she sent me what she had drawn up after our consultation, I was so shocked and speechless because she drew exactly what I was picturing in my head. She is a very talented and gifted artist who takes pride in what she does.Once my appointment day came around, I was starting to get really nervous. Jessica took really good care of me and gave me water, and doughnuts! She wanted me to feel comfortable while she was working. My husband and I decided on this tattoo parlor based on reviews and we are so happy we did. We had Jessica Beth, who we wanted to meet with initially based on reviews and her portfolio, and she was absolutely fantastic from start to finish. We got matching tattoos in honor of our dog who recently passed away and she nailed it completely. If I ever get another tattoo I will 100% go back to her. The shop itself was clean and inviting. The experience was great.

Great establishment. My personal experience is with JJ, but every artist there will leave you more than satisfied with their work. Just look at their portfolios. Management is very professional while delivering a comfortable and clean environment and making you feel right at home. I personally don’t see myself seeking an artist outside of this shop. Whether you want black and white, full color, or crazy shading and faded coloring one of their artists specializes in it. I’ve never seen a bad tattoo leave that place. Recommend 11/10

Watchtower is great! The shop is spotless and all of the staff are professional and welcoming. JP has done a few of my tattoos now and they are all absolutely beautiful and exceeded any expectations I walked in with. Had Jessica Beth do my sunflower, then when I wanted an adjustment to the center she gladly did it when we added a hibiscus and lily. Jessica Beth is such a sweetheart. When I passed out (due to fear of needles) she got me awake and even offered me her snack bar before getting consent to continue. I absolutely love Watchtower. All of the staff are beyond professional and friendly. Plus they are fantastic at communicating to give you exactly what you are looking for. The shop is immaculately kept, artistic and welcoming.I have quite a few tattoos, and the majority were done by JJ. I cant recommend him enough, he has killer skills. My husband had JP do a sleeve for him, and it turned out fantastic. We have become very loyal clients and will never go anywhere else. I got a realistic hummingbird tattoo with Andrew to represent my nana and it was a 10/10 experience. Friendly atmosphere, really skillful at what he’s doing, and overall I am beyond satisfied. This was my first tattoo so I was nervous however he walked me through the process so I understood what was happening and the results were fantastic. I get a lot of compliments about the tattoo and a lot of people ask if it’s even real because it looks so professional. Honestly I would go back in a heartbeat if I wanted to get another tattoo. Overall I have 0 complaints and give it 5 stars

Josiah is an amazing artist. I searched for a month to find the right person/artist for my sons tattoo. Josiah listened to my son and also offered ideas. Very clean and professional . The staff was very helpful and friendly, and the place was super clean and all the instruments were sterile. JP fit my friend and I both in last minute on the same day and did an awesome job. Im quite picky when it comes to art, and Ive been searching for an artist who was skilled in the various nuances of water color tattoos; JJ is the man! He worked with an original sketch of mine, and added the embellishments I couldnt develop on my own. He was extremely quick to respond to my inquiry via email and related follow-up communication as we hashed out the design. My visit to the shop on the day of my appointment did not disappoint - the new shop is beautiful, and JJ is a super professional human being. And of course, I love my tattoo!!! If you need a tattoo, the folks at Watchtower will take good care of you! Be sure to tip them well!

It took me a long time to find a tattoo parlor that could provide the level of quality that I demanded. Watchtower not only met those expectations but has also become the only place I will go to for any future work. The cleanliness is kept at a very high standard, the staff are all very friendly, and you’ll be hard pressed to find an artist that does better work than JJ. If you want high quality work then this is the place for you. Anyone that gives Watchtower less than a 5 star rating is delusional.

JJ gave me my first tattoo. I may not ever go to another artist. From getting the sketch drawn up, to the work itself, JJ is legit as it gets. He is booked to the max and his schedule gets filled far in advance, so schedule early! Everytime he opens his books to schedule another month, hell be fully booked within the same day. This man is talented!!!!

I have had most of my work done by Jessica Beth and I cannot begin to say enough positive things about her. From start to finish she is available to talk, create, and draw up whatever you are thinking, even if you dont have a lot of detail yourself. Not being an artist, I have trouble nailing down exactly what I want, but if you give her a concept she creates the most beautiful and original stuff, with her own personal flare. Not only is she ridiculously talented but she is overall hilarious and makes me feel really comfortable when Im there. I get compliments all the time on the sleeve shes started for me and Ive referred her to everyone I know. Andrew is hands down amazing! He has done a little Beetlejuice on my forearm from last Halloween at the old shop he was at. But he is just such a amazing artist, and human bean that I followed him to watch tower. He has now just finished a full forearm piece last week Wednesday and its beautiful! Exactly what I wanted. Honestly the best shop around the Michigan area. Amazing artists who do phenomenal work not only in their artwork but in customer care as well. This review has nothing to do with a bad tattoo as I am a fan of Josiahs work, but with how they organize their bookings. I was told in order to book a tattoo with Josiah that I was required to go to a consultation appointment. I did over 2 months ago and my idea was accepted. For the past 3 weeks they were saying that his books open today and to call today at some point to book. They made no sense of urgency that it would be completely booked immediately and within 2 hours he was completely booked until next summer. They said that they accepted email requests that came in far before their opening time this morning. I would expect if you took the time going to a consultation that you would get some sort of preference over someone who just sent an email in. That being said I am upset i wasted my time going in for a consultation as I dont think anyone wants to wait 8 months to be tattooed as the future is very very uncertain and things tend to change in almost a years time. I will be taking my business elsewhere.

Brandon did overall OK job. I needed touchups, after 3 weeks I contacted him for touchup and he responded that he could only take me after another month!!! Come on, wait for touch up a month???

Ian was very nice and a talented artist. He tattooed a lily on my arm that has my 12 Grand kids names in the petals. Everyone is very nice.

I got my first tattoo done here by JP. I was greeted & helped as soon as I walked in & tatted within the next 15 minutes. The tattoo itself only took about 15 minutes as well. It turned out great & I will be going back soon to get another!

My story dates back to early March, 2021. For years, I desired to finally get a tattoo, but the trouble was ensuring I could formulate a concept that I would proudly display for the rest of my life! Did I want something small, a half or a full sleeve? The possibilities were overwhelming.I did extensive research on artists in my area that were competent in realism, highly rated, and Josiah Johnson (my artist for the sleeve pictured) was one of the few of strong consideration. I was incredibly impressed by his extensive portfolio not only from the standpoint of technical execution but also by his ability to create engaging compositions.Even though there were other artists in the area that were similarly skilled, there was something in my gut letting me know this was the man for the job.Keep in mind this was the first time I was to ever be tattooed and my intention was to get an entire sleeve done. Within a week of submitting my idea after his waitlist opened, he reached out to me to via email and we first set up a consultation to make sure we were going to be a good fit.All obviously went well and I had the privilege of undergoing 6 sessions total to complete this gothic-inspired sleeve that totaled at least 30 hours of work! From the process of ideation and indicating the elements I wanted in the sleeve to the sessions, everything was professional and seamless. I felt very comfortable providing feedback and encouraging various routes of exploration to make the piece the best it could be before giving my sign-off in proceeding to get inked. Everything felt collaborative and that my input mattered, which of course is a great feeling.It took about 6 months from me submitting my idea after his waitlist opened, booking the sessions+paying the deposit to finally having my first session September 4th.Many thanks to Josiah for going on the journey with me to bring this masterpiece to reality! It was a pleasure, and may our paths cross again down the line.
