Took my fifteen year old daughter to get her ears pierced. She had them as a baby but had an issue that caused her not to have them for many years. I located this local place and I was extremely impressed with the service and atmosphere. Highly recommend using them if you are looking for piercings.

I had my first piercing ever (left nostril) and my artist, Astre was just awesome. She had a wonderful attitude and explained to me everything that she was doing. I would recommend her and this place everyday of the week.

Poppy was awesome and super helpful. My daughter had her ears pierced by another establishment and the holes ended up very uneven. We didnt feel comfortable going back to the same person so we contacted Poppy. She was so helpful (even chatting with us after hours) and was able to repierce one side to even them out. Was a very pleasant experience after being pretty stressed out by the first piercing.

My experience at poppy’s parlour was amazing. I got my nostril pierced. First piercing other than my ears, and the time was soothing and very relaxing. Great service and clean environment. Friendly atmosphere.

Beautiful shop with friendly staff. Took my 13 year old daughter to get her nose pierced and just the ambiance alone of Poppys made her comfortable. Our piercer was knowledgeable, friendly, clean and efficient. Amazing first time experience for myself and my daughter.

Astre changed my nose piercing yesterday, and she was so fun to talk to while the service was happening. She was super gentle and reassuring. Although I did cry, she was amazing. I loved my piercing experience with Astre! The shop was clean, cute, laid back, and featured a large selection of jewelry to choose from. Astre was extremely smart, kind, and funny, and made me feel comfortable during my piercings! They look and feel great 24 hours later. I couldnt be happier I chose to come to Poppys!

I actually used to love Poppys Parlour and have came here for several piercings the last year and recently started getting tooth gems. The last time I got tooth gems the first one fell off after 5 days and the second one fell off not long after. When I called the shop they scheduled me to come back in and replace it and didn’t mention any cost. When I went in they wanted to charge me the full price again as if it was my fault. The person reapplying it even told me it should have lasted more than 5 days and that hers had been on for about 7 months. It was truly so frustrating and after spending probably close to $1k between piercings, jewelry and tooth gems in the last year at this shop it just felt so wild to me that they wouldn’t correct something that was clearly not my fault and they even admitted was their fault. My piercings have all been fine there but I would not recommend this shop anymore as they clearly don’t stand behind their work.

I LOVE poppy’s parlour. Went in a few years ago for my mantis piercing, then again for my lip, again for 2 more, and most recently my high nostril. I don’t think I could ever go anywhere else. She’s incredible and all of the staff are very knowledgeable and friendly. The place itself is beautiful, clean and welcoming. I’ve taken several of my friends there or recommended it and ugh, truly never a bad experience. Poppy is super patient, will take her time explaining to you the piercing, give you some water, wait until you’re ready and makes sure the placement is right and where you want it before she pierces. I never feel rushed or like I’m being annoying (even if I am 😁). 11/10, I’ll never recommend anywhere else. Quality and care is amazing!

Oh my GOODNESS!This shop is amazing.I went in very anxious to get my septum redone and they were great. Very direct and straightforward communication, explained everything that was going on while it was happening and just generally made me feel as if I was safe.This was FAR beyond any other piercing experience Ive ever had before. I would just like to start off by saying I absolutely love this place and it is now gonna be my go to for piercings. The piercer I had was Astre and she was very helpful in explaining everything I needed to know about my piercing and she was also very kind. I got an eyebrow piercing and she was very quick and gentle with the piercing. If you are looking for a place with friendly staff, nice prices, and overall a friendly experience I highly recommend Poppy’s Parlour.

I came in for 3 new piercings and was open to ideas. Poppy was super nice and showed me some recommendations including getting my rook done. It’s now my favorite. The jewelry options are adorable and the healing has been easy. I can’t wait to come back soon for more. The appointment process was simple and shop was clean/decorated comfortably. This warm little shop is TOP NOTCH. Honestly, it’s the best piercing experiences I’ve ever had, and they weren’t even for me! I brought my teens in for a bridge for one and a belly button for the other. Extremely thorough explanation of what to expect, do’s and don’t’s, and aftercare instruction. Aster took care of everything and provided a safe space. I also brought my sweetie here for a labret and it ended up still being open after 10+ years. So she tapered and added jewelry. Outstanding experience every time. 15/10 would recommend!

My daughter went to Poppys for her Daith piercing & had such an awesome experience that she recommended I go there as well. After researching & talking to others about the benefits of Daith with the dreaded migraine (after all it works with acupuncture), I decided to try it myself. Poppys knowledge of piercing types, styles, and her overall friendliness was amazing. From the moment I got my piercing, it looked & felt as though Id had it for years (instead of minutes). That takes Talent right there! I will definitely be going back for any future piercings! I cant Recommend her enough!

I was able to make an appointment the day before with no trouble. Their prices are amazing with a 10.00 piercing fee and very reasonably priced jewelry. Very nice selection. Space was extremely clean with a good vibe. I originally sent in for a septum piercing and a nostril piercing, upon consultation Poppy found that I had no sweet spot and a diviated septum that would cause a septum piercing to be crooked. I am grateful for her honesty rather then just getting the money and piercing anyway. Highly recommend and will be returning in the future.

Overall really satisfied with my experience at Poppys Parlour. She was super professional and sweet, the room is cozy and decorated with nice colors that make you feel calm despite the fact youre about to be pierced with a needle. $10 piercing is fun and makes you want to get more done.. I recommend getting the gold jewelery. In my past experience it tends to hold up better and looks nicer than silver, even if you are paying extra! I dont regret spending extra on the cleaning product as well. When Ive had piercings in the past Id make my own saline solution, it can be tedious and more of a hassle. With the spray you know for sure that your piercing is going to be cleaned with the right amount of saline.I recommened this shop for sure!!! :)

I freaking LOVED Poppys Parlour! Went in for an ear piercing. Aster was absolutely amazing and helped me pick out some stunning jewelry. Overall, the vibes are great and all the staff work hard to keep it a safe space. Plus, you just cant beat their $10 piercing special. 😍

I went in for nipple piercings for the third time after having them ripped out the other two times. She checked my nipples to make sure they still felt viable for piercings a third time around. I got the all clear, so she set up, which took no time at all and before I knew it, I was experiencing the worst pain of my life lol. She did an excellent job, so it was in no part due to her or her technique or expertise. It was solely due to the scar tissue that had formed. My boyfriend watched the whole thing and when she had initially put the needle in she came up against some resistance and she had to readjust her position a bit but she managed to do it in one single motion and he was very impressed with that and I was too. After it was all said and done she was worried that I would get light headed so she told me to take a few mins if I needed, offered me a water, and let me know that a fourth time piercing isnt going to be possible so take care of these as best I can. Long story short, the piercings were a little over $160 and with the tip it came out to over $180. Seems like a fair price to me but I honestly dont remember how much they had cost in the past. I really enjoyed this experience and I would highly recommend her. Wish I could add a pic but for obvious reasons I dont think that would be allowed. Thank you poppys parlour!!

I went in for a couple intimate piercings, and I was obviously nervous to get them and even take my shirt off, but Poppy has an incredibly calming personality and made me feel completely at ease. She made sure I was completely fine during the whole process, explained everything that was going to happen and the pain that I was likely to feel. Afterwards, I got lightheaded and nauseous, and she had me lie down, provided me with a water bottle, and even fanned me, which was above and beyond. Her prices are fantastic and she did an amazing job, highly recommend!

I came in close to closing time because my dumb butt was being very impatient as always and really wanted to put my diamond piercing in my lip even though I knew the post was too small 🙄 anyways within about an hour it was cutting into my skin and I needed help! lol. So I looked online and saw this place which is right down the street thank god! When I came in, Jack was super sweet and understanding and took me in the back right away to have Poppy take it out and find a fitting post. They were both so kind and nice and they have beautiful jewelry. They only charge $10 per piercing and they’re fairly new there. I believe they are going to make a killing where they’re located and how they are towards customers. I will be back and I will tell all my friends how great they are! Thanks guys! 😉

Tooth gem only lasted 5 days, and i spent $50 ( plus tip) were as my other ones from a separate location, I have had on for almost 2 years.

I got a lip piercing from her, talking to my friend the entire time, wondering about his glass blowing business instead of paying attention to my piercing. It’s even all crooked. I contacted her because I needed a longer barbell for my lip because it was swelling snd she still hasn’t responded from April 12th to now April 2nd. So I went elsewhere to get my piercing fixed. Very very unprofessional and I usually don’t feel this way. I might have to take it out it healed horribly.

We had a great experience at Poppy’s Parlour getting my daughter’s very first piercing. She was patient and attentive to her needing a moment between ears. Her spaces is comfortable and inviting. Poppy does it (excellently!) again! I had my septum pierced by her earlier this year, and was super pleased with the overall experience, so I took my daughter in to see her today for her first ear piercings. She was so good with her, explained the process in detail, and made sure she didn’t have any questions. As always, the jewelry selection was top notch also!We will keep coming back over and over again, seriously. Poppy’s shop is the best in the area, hands down.

She has a wonderful friendly personality and is willing to answer any questions you might have. Shop is located on the 2nd floor of a shared building. Very well kept & cozy atmosphere. I went to see Poppy in May to get a second piercing in each ear. My whole experience was very professional and friendly. I would definitely recommend getting any piercing done here. I am 6 weeks out from when I got them done and they are healing very nicely. Call Poppy and get your appointment scheduled. If you have questions (I had a lot of them) ask her, she is very helpful and thorough!

Went here to get my second lobes piercings and an eyebrow piercing. She was very easygoing and kind, and got things done painlessly and quick. Very professional, and definitely had my health in mind! I was initially interested in an industrial, but she was quick to let me know I didnt have the ear shape for it, which unfortunately isnt the case for all piercers. She definitely saved me a lot of pain.Will definitely come back here again!

Poppy was great! She helped me make a decision on placement and type of ear piercing to get (I previously had 13 between both ears, so she helped me find balance). I also got a additional nose piercing during the same appointment. It was fast, easy, comfortable and she is so nice and positive. I will return back for my next piercing. Poppys where you want to get your piercing from. If youre in Portland, its worth the 15-25 minute drive.

I dont have any tattoos and only have my ear lobes pierced so I thought I would feel out of place going in but everyone here was so friendly and I felt so welcomed. I went in for a consultation for a bridge piercing because I was concerned I wouldnt have the right anatomy for the piercing, and unfortunately I was right. But its good to know they arent willing to pierce just for the money, regardless of the risks. They want to do right by their customers, even if that means they have to lose out on a piercing. They took the time to discuss why I wanted this particular piercing and gave me some possible alternatives to consider. It is a great place with great people and everything looked very clean.

I had a wonderful experience getting a daith piercing. Of course it hurts a bit, but she made it as quick and painless as possible. She was friendly, answered my questions and made me feel totally at ease. I will 100% return for more!

Me (eyebrow) and my mom (nose) got our piercings done! Really quick and really easy. I would recommend this place. This vibes are cute and witchy/spiritual. Our piercer was the one with black hair, glasses, and tattoos. I also didnt catch their name, but they did amazing!!

I don’t ever want to get pierced by anyone else! I’ve gotten three cartilage piercings (rook and double conch) by Poppy and she has mapped out both of my ears. She is the best! She knows what she’s doing, provides great feedback based on what you want and what works best for your ear anatomy.

I had an amazing experience getting my nose pierced today. It was my first piercing outside of my ear and I was definitely impressed by how easy Poppy made my experience. She was very accommodating and understanding and was done very quickly and maintained a clean environment making sure to start wiping things down before I was even out the door. Prior to my appointment I received multiple reminders and communication to make sure my questions were all answered. I would absolutely come back to get pierced by Poppy again and will absolutely be recommending her to my friends and family in the future.

I was in love with my last piercing place, but had to go elsewhere when their prices got expensive. Skeptical at first bc of the low prices here, but decided to go for it after seeing amazing reviews. Poppy was helpful and addressed all my questions questions and concerns. Poppy is a very experienced piercer, and reviewed exactly which piercings I wanted where, provided aftercare instructions (also listed on website, which is full of good information) and cultivated a relaxed atmosphere. It really is a cute little place. Her space is cozy and colorful- I was very nervous to have it done but her area was very relaxing.There were so many choices of jewelry to pick from for my piercing, it took me a moment to pick one. But Poppy did it quick, it only hurt a little (I was psyching myself up for way more pain) and she let me stay and drink some water until I stopped shaking due to adrenaline.She gave me very clear aftercare instructions, provided me with a cleaning spray, and overall just made it a very quick, easy, and enjoyable experience!I do want some more ear piercings eventually so when I recover from this and get the money, Im absolutely making another appointment.

I decided to finally take the plunge and indulge myself on three personal piercings. Poppy’s came highly recommended by a close friend and now having experienced it myself, I understand why. The experience and communication level, even post-piercing, was top notch. I felt completely comfortable throughout the entire process. I would highly recommend Poppy’s to any friend or family, and plan to go back if I have any piercings needs in the future …. Which I believe I will because of how wonderful the experience has been!

I honestly ended up coming here on a complete whim, but Im SO glad I went !! I got a nose piercing for my 20th birthday: Poppy was so nice and communicative, taking the time necessary to talk me through all the jewelry options and aftercare steps. My appointment took maybe 5 minutes in total, if that -- the whole experience was super comfortable. She also has (and at this point still has) a $10 piercing deal; because of that, the entire cost of my piercing plus jewelry was under $20. I will 100000% be back the next chance I get !!!!!

My two young daughters and myself got our ears pierced here. We had a wonderful experience! She took her time and explained things so that my kids felt comfortable. Our piercings healed quickly and without issue.

Normally never write reviews, but have to for this place, I’ve been here twice and got four piercings total and I love how quick, easy and affordable the process is. Going here you’ll get the same exact services/cleanliness and professionalism/friendliness that you’d get at the places in Portland that charge $45 per piercing and $50 for tiny sterling silver jewelry, but the prices here are about 1/3rd for the exact same stuff. All my piercings have healed well and I couldn’t be happier with the outstanding level of service Poppy has!!!

Ive never felt so comfortable and at ease at a piercing studio! Poppy helped with one of my existing helix piercings that had been giving me some grief and gave me 2 new piercings! The jewelry was everything I had been looking for (and it was in my price range)!Its been a week and my new conch & helix have been healing perfectly! No swelling or issues at all! I will ONLY EVER go to Poppy from now on!!!

Will never go anywhere else for piercings. Poppy is gentle and knowledgeable and personable. Her and her jewelry are so nice I went back to have her change my septum ring after it healed.It was the smoothest piercing I have ever gotten. Needle to ring all in one motion. My eight year old daughter had her lobes pierced here this morning. The process was first and foremost: caring and accommodating of my daughter who was quite apprehensive. We never felt rushed and the quality of work is 100%. It didnt take long for my daughter to arrive home and declare her love for her new earrings ☺️

Great experience here today! I brought my 12-year-old daughter in for her first ear piercing, and she didn’t even flinch! I was adamant about taking her to a professional piercer who uses needles and not piercing guns. Definitely an added bonus that it’s located in a salon and has a feminine vibe — I think that made her feel a little more comfortable and less nervous. I’m so glad I found Poppy’s Parlour online — I knew after reading all the fantastic reviews that this is the place I wanted to bring my daughter — we were not disappointed! I stopped by here during a trip to Vancouver because she offered good deals for piercings. I arrived 10 minutes before my appointment, but ended up waiting 25 minutes past my scheduled time with no notice, and I could clearly hear from the waiting area that she was chatting with another client even though their alloted time had been up. I was willing to look past this, seeing the sometimes you get caught up in conversation and dont realize the time. However, I have keliods on two of the piercings I got from here and I am not prone to getting keliods after a piercing and am very thorough with the aftercare process (I have 13 piercings currently and the two cartilage piercings I got from her are the only ones that have ever had keliods.)The jewelery she pierced me with were also not sized to accommodate for swelling at all. All in all, I did not have the best experience right from the beginning due to waiting well past my scheduled time, only to later have issues with most of the piercings I have received from this shop.

My experience at Poppy’s was very positive! The studio is super cute and inviting, as well as very hygienic. Poppy made me feel very comfortable. She answered all my questions and gave me lots of helpful advice on how to care for my piercing. I got my cartilage pierced and I love it!

I can’t say enough greatness about Poppy! She’s a magician for sure. I’ve had a specific piercings done a few times and it’s always hurt for months afterwards. Not with her, my piercings healed up well and was not sore for more than a few days. I will forever tell everyone to see her and I will be back with something more for her to do. Poppy was very informative. She gave me as much information as she could, so I could make the best decision for myself. For now I only got one piercing per ear. I hope to go back in the next month for more Helix piercings! I want my Helix to almost look like its wearing armor. I love the Helix jewelry we chose and definitely will buy more of them. I need titanium pieces and Im glad she had cute ones. Ive got several complaints already.

Just got my ears pierced today. I had them pierced as a baby and they were in a terrible spot on my ear. I happened to find Poppys on a Google search. Im happy I did! I have never felt more of an inconvenience as a customer. The owner that came to help me was in sweats, slides and was chewing food while she was talking to me. They had no jewelry in stock and said it would be $300-$500 to order something. Bottom line, no selection and RUDE staff. Super unprofessional.

I called a couple hours before her closing time and she was able to squeeze me in for three piercings that night which I so much appreciated! I had my questions answered and felt comfortable the entire time. Such a sweet experience! I highly, HIGHLY recommend that you go here for your piercings. No way you’ll regret it. Above and beyond service. This is the FIRST time a piercer has been completely unphased by my hearing aids!Poppy explained the whole process before piercing my ears. There was plenty of jewelry to choose from, and all but the gold ones - even the opals - were under $20!Poppy does free jewelry downsizing after 5 weeks and even has sterile saline spray available so I didnt have to make an extra trip to the store.Ill definitely be going back to keep decorating my ears!

Loved coming here! The set up was great, Rach was great, and after many unimpressive piercings other places- I was very relieved to have someone who really took pride in their work! My piercings were red for maybe a day, and have not hurt or been irritated at all since. Already planning another visit! This place is AMAZING. I am upset that I hadnt known about it earlier, otherwise I wouldnt have spent almost $80 per each piercing Ive gotten before. Its a tiny piercing place located within a salon, and I hope Poppy ends up getting her own large place because the service, professionalism, cleanliness, and overall timeliness of it was UNMATCHED! This is the first place that I felt like I was getting bang for my buck. Piercings should not cost $30-$40, and starter jewelry also shouldnt cost a minimum of $35, as they are in the rest of portland. Also, a lot of piercers will just talk and talk but she got straight to the point. I got two cartilage piercings here and the total was $65!!! Absolutely unreal As someone whos been to Robot and Iris, and was happy with the result but unhappy with the inflated pricing, this is PERFECT. The service is much better and the prices make it so you dont have to spend a significant chunk of your paycheck on piercings. I will support Poppy 4eva!!!

I went to have my nose re-pierced and she was incredibly friendly and professional, put me at ease and the piercing was as close to pain free as you can get. She also followed up later to ensure it was healing well. Ill be bringing my daughter here when shes ready to have her ears pierced.

Thought my daughters nose piercing closed couldn’t get the stud in, I called and Poppy and they told me to come in right away! got the piercing in right away, she was so sweet. we will definitely be coming back.

I got two piercings done here, my rook turned out good but my helix was done completely wrong. I had to go to a different shop to get it taken out and get my jewelry changed in my rook. My helix was placed wrong and done at a wrong angle. I developed a keloid on my helix and I’m not one to get keloids. I cleaned it regularly, it was just done wrong.

I have 4 nostril piercings between two nostrils that i had to take out for a state sanctioned vacation, i wanted to put the rings back in but everyone in portland would not do it. Not only did i get my nostrils checked to see if they were still open before piercing but it was fast clean and very comfortable. I recommend highly👍🕷

I got a lip piercing from this lady and I asked her to change it to a longer barbell because my skin was growing over it and it was too swollen. Didn’t get a response for over a month, had to take it out and go elsewhere to get it re-pierced. Wouldn’t recommend this place. I regret the tip I gave her.
