I was a walk in for a navel piercing and Syd took great care of me. Even though there was a line of people waiting to be seen after me- she was courteous, engaging and efficient. Piercing was painless and she made the whole experience pleasant. It has healed without event and Im looking forward to returning to change jewelry once the waiting period is up. That being said - fyi sometimes their jewelry selection can be limited depending on recent orders so she recommends calling ahead if you want to be peirced with something specific since its not recommended you change it for a while and theres a chance they may not have in stock exactly what you are looking for. I am afraid of needles but I’ve wanted my helix and nostril pierced for a long time. Quinn was my piercer and they were super understanding and patient with me the whole time. They also did everything they could to help me feel comfortable and vibe with me, and I ended up having a great experience! I didn’t know if I was gonna be able to stomach all three but I had a blast and got through all of them no problem! Thank you Quinn, I love my piercings and you were amazing!

Walked in to buy jewelry, didn’t even need to pierce my ears. Guy that I spoke to didn’t want to hear anything, simply said the piercing person isn’t here and he doesn’t know where anything is, please go somewhere else. Maybe they don’t like people of color but I might be too critical assuming that. Being attentive and respectful towards a potential client is something I expect from such a well reviewed place. My best guess is they already have a good clientele so anyone new doesn’t matter as much.

I had to come and post immediately after my piercing at Valkyrie! It was such a nice experience! Working with Val and Syd was so great. They explained what they were going to do, made sure everything was placed right and double checked our choices multiple times before actually piercing. Two of us were in and out quick, especially as walk ins, and honestly truly left with smiles on our faces. Lovely people, lovely shop, and I love my new helix hoop. Makes me even more excited for more piercings in the future! Will definitely be back.

I’ve had two helix piercings here and experienced great service. Syd helped me both times as my piercer and she was lovely. The artwork (sample tattoos) is a bit intense so use discretion bringing kids. Also, would be nice to have more jewelry choices available - not a reflection on Syd, more about getting increased inventory. 👍🏻👍🏻

Syd was amazing!! She was super attentive and kind. She was quick when it actually came to the piercing. She also gave me great advice on a previous piercing I had gotten elsewhere that was not done very well. 10/10 would recommend and I will be returning!! 😁

Worked with Syd to get my daughter a helix piercing and she was tops. Great communication, availability, patience and understanding. Syd was absolutely phenomenal. She was kind and listened to exactly what I wanted. The shop was super clean and beautifully decorated. Truly the best piercing experience that I’ve ever had.

I got industrial piercings on both side. They staff were friendly. It was fairly priced. The piercings were well done and hurt minimally. The person doing the piercings (sorry bad with names) of course had me check the placement prior to piercing. I requested a slight angle change on one side. They made the change without make me feel uncomfortable or bad for saying something. This should be an easy thing to do but I have had other piercings where I felt I just had to go with what the person piercing said. Would recommend!

I went and got a Tragus piercing from the very lovely piercer Syd. Everyone there was so kind and very informative. The pricing is so reasonable, and it was such a quick process. I will DEFINITELY be going back for my next piercing, and I am so happy that this place was recommended to me.

Only reason it’s not a 5star rating is because I haven’t gotten a tattoo from them yet. They’re very welcoming and nice, if you are lucky enough to be there when it’s slow they will ask you for your preferred song choice for your piercing session or tattoo. 1# thing I can say is, I felt very welcomed, don’t make the mistake of skipping this place for another one.

Got our piercings done by Quinn the other day. She was super kind and helpful. She explained everything she was going to do and made sure we were happy with what we were getting.

Had a forward helix done at a different studio. Gem was way too big. A 2nd studio changed that out for me, but the entire piece fell out when I went to clean it. Sid at valkyrie took me right away to put in a new piece before it closed up! She was amazing! Super professional, clean, organized! If I lived here, Id go regularly!

We took our 9 year old daughter to get her pierced over the weekend. Syd was amazing, she made our daughter feel so comfortable, and she did a great job.

My friend and i wanted to get navals for our birthday but i have a AWFUL fear of needles- like i almost passed out when she got hers. we didn’t go here for hers and i decided not to get mine done where my friend did. we came across this place and went in the day before to feel it out and when i tell you the energy was just so welcoming. the next day i came back with my dad and the piercing was over within 15 minutes. Syd did my piercing and was just amazing, i barely bled, it didn’t even hurt, it was fast, Syd was comforting and it was overall an amazing experience. even though the other people in the studio weren’t piercing me the energy was just amazing from them too. i already recommended this place to all my friends looking for piercings.

Went in for a simple black outline of a dog. Went in with a picture. It was meant to look like my shepherd. Blunted nose so bad it looks like my pitbull! Halfway through, he tells me he’s just starting out and is the newest guy in the shop!!

I got two piercings done by Sid today, they were very kind throughout the process and had great service. Sid talked me through my new piercings and gave me advice my past piercers have failed to mention. I will be coming back for more piercings soon thank you Sid and Belle!

My boyfriend and I came here on Friday the 13th in October. We had a great experience getting pierced together and the piercer was incredibly nice. Since then, one of the two piercings I got has had such a hard time healing and I’ve gotten several red bumps around the area. It just won’t heal even months later and I have never ever gotten this with any other piercing in the past at other shops (I have a total of 12 ear piercings including the one that is not healing). I recently had to take the piercing out all together because I have another red angry bump that is filled with blood and this is the second time this piercing has done this. I’m giving this place 2 stars because their customer service was amazing, but I’ve had such issues with the healing of these piercings that I’ve never experienced before. The other piercing I got didn’t heal fully until recently (I got a third and fourth piercing on different ears). I would suggest getting pierced elsewhere. I will sadly not be coming here again for any services because of this.

Livid!! Called 3 times to confirm they pierce kids ears and they said yes. Called to confirm prior to getting in the car (because they do walk-ins) that someone was available and willing, they said yes. Drove here with my daughter and they said “you didn’t talk to me and I’m saying no”. Obviously wasted our time, lied, and absolutely broke my daughter’s heart for her birthday present. Unprofessional. Rude. Liars.

Sid was so kind and accommodating!! I accidentally removed my nostril piercing in my sleep and had difficulties putting the piercing back in! They were super helpful and explained that it could happen with the type of jewelry I was previously wearing. Sid suggested a different type of jewelry that is more snug and it made me feel more secure!10/10 experience :) thanks again!!

I game to this place as my second choice. Im glad I ended up with them as my experience so far has been great. They were very kind. My piercer made me feel very comfortable and safe. The place was clean, all the equipment was sterilized and opened in front of me. She was an apprentice however she did an AMAZING job, and made the experience enjoyable. The prices were great and the quality was well worth it.Only thing: If youre not versed on aftercare do your research, the piercer didnt go over it with me much at all. However I have other piercings and she gave me a sheet of paper with after care tips so it was okay for me.

Great little shop! Very welcoming and clean environment. Got the other side of my nose pierced by Syd. She was very sweet and did a great job in making sure it was even with my other side. Minimal pain, quick and pretty! Will definitely be back and would recommend.

Sydney is awesome! Just got home from my nostril peircing. I had it pierced before but the place I went to only did the corkscrew ones. She said they could do a flat back one, and I was so excited! It never healed before so I had to take it out, and finally decided to try again today.She was super sweet, helped me find a good placement, and it was quick. Thanks girl!

Recently had the pleasure of getting three new tats by Ms Quinn. I was impressed how she could take my random ideas and create a great replica for the designs. She’s got great skills. Took my daughter into Valkyrie Tattoo & Piercing to get her second piercing from them today. I genuinely cannot say enough great things about this establishment. 5 stars all day long. Great people that make my daughter super comfortable everytime we go in. Killer place to get anything done.

I brought my 11 year-old daughter to Valkyrie to have her earlobes pierced, and we had a great experience. Sydney was really friendly, and helped my daughter relax and feel comfortable. She seemed very knowledgeable and confident in what she was doing, and everything was very clean. The price was very reasonable, but I didnt feel like I was in a cut-rate kind of place. I would heartily recommend this shop to my friends!

Jerry pierced my helix and doubles in my lower lobes. He did PHENOMENAL! Him and his wife are awesome. Highly recommend. They are so nice and won’t let you leave feeling unsatisfied.

If I could give a zero star I would. I went in at 3:15pm on Friday the 13th for a tattoo. Not busy, no one in line. First people there. The new girl said she will be doing tattoos at 4pm, okay well by the time I left it was 5pm with no tattoo, no communication on how long or the fact that she was allowing ALL new walk-in piercings ahead of me. I would understand if there was communication. I received none.One star for no communication, unorganized and not helpful. I’ve been waiting since last Friday the 13th for a tattoo today, my exciting time… turned into a bad mood.I will never go there again. I do not recommend going there.

Got my first face piercing by Syd today! Got a double nose piercing on my left nostril, and I was shocked by how painless it was. Im not tough nor do I have high pain tolerance, she just did a damn good job! Quick, clean and minimal pain. Syd is an apprentice but she was great to work with, definitely give her a chance!

For my birthday weekend on March 18-21 I made an impulsive choice and got two piercings done while I was on vacation. I wanted to wait and see how they were healing before I left my review. So far it’s been two weeks and the healing has been super easy. During my experience which was a walk-in service I filled out my paper work and waited patiently. Maybe 20-30 mins as someone was being pierced before me. When I got back to the room it was nice and clean. And she covered the entry hallway so we could be in private. The equipment was laid out flat unopened and ready.She made sure I was comfortable with the placement that she choose would be best with my body anatomy. After we agree she pierced the first piercing which I felt nothing but after my second piercing I got extremely light headed and nauseous. My piercer took great care of me by grabbing me a water which I unfortunately spilled all over the floor because I became to light headed. She also gave me some chocolate which in the end helped a ton and within ten mins I was back to normal. I definitely give a 10/10 to her for taking such good care of me. I unfortunately can’t post a photo but can definitely leave an amazing review. Since I was on vacation I also asked for a pair of barbells to downgrade when then time is right. We picked the perfect ones. The only thing I was upset about in the end was I was not offered a saline cleaning solution to purchase as being on vacation it would have came handy but I found some at a local Walgreens and it’s worked wonderful. Would definitely come back for another piercing.

The piercer, Sid, was super sweet. They sterilized titanium jewelry for my friend who is allergic to steel. When my friend felt faint, Sid got her chocolate milk and candy and was just a great person in general. Joe the tattoo artist was super sweet and was able to squeeze me in for a walk in tattoo when my friend got her piercing. The entire experience was amazing and the prices were super reasonable.

Got a conch piercing here only about an hour a go and it was amazing!! The girl who did it was soo sweet and made me feel very calm. The quality of the piercing is great, its placement was good and the overall look of it is SO CUTE, I def will be coming back

I was pierced by Sydney and absolutely love it. I came in with my friend and I got my nipples pierced and my friend got her nose pierced. We were so impressed with Sydneys professionalism and skill piercing that we came back a few hours later. My friend got her septum pierced and I got my tragus pierced. She is amazing at customer service, piercing, and being friendly. I was nervous and she really brought an ease to the room! She was also extremely clean. Even as going as far as to clean the seat I sat in before my friend sat there. New gloves, clean floors and materials. Everything she brought out was brand new and clean. I just turned 14 and the lady that did my nose piercing was so nice, gentle, and patient. No problems and i’m glad I went there would definitely recommend and would most definitely go there again

From Michigan and was bored on a rainy day and decided to get a tattoo. This place accepted walk-ins and Joe did an awesome job on my new tattoo!

I took my nervous five year old here to finally get her ears pierced. Riley took such good care of her and made her feel so comfortable that she didn’t even need to hold my hand, and didn’t drop a single tear! I couldn’t believe it! The shop was very clean, and Riley opened the piercing needle in front of me, which assumed me that everything was sterile and meant only for my daughter. They even changed the music when an inappropriate song came on for Ellie. Overall we both had a great experience, and her ears look great!

I went in today to get my septum re-pierced, but Syd explained that it my not have to be re-pierced, and it would be cheaper if all she had to do was use a tapered post. It worked, and it was cheaper!In and out in like 20 minutes!Syd was great, I will definitely be coming back shortly for more piercings!

Edit: jerry the owner contacted me and I went in today. He was super nice and switched out the piercing for something that won’t put as much pressure on it so it can heal easier. I was concerned that switching the piercing would be painful but it wasn’t at all and he was really gentle. Really happy with my second experienceI was searching for a place to get my septum pierced for a couple weeks. The place closer to home was always busy and since we were going to Vancouver for the day I decided on this place because they accepted walk ins. Everyone was nice so no complaints there. I’ve had my septum pierced 2 times before this so I wasn’t expecting much pain. I have a pretty high pain tolerance. First thing that concerned me was she didn’t use a clamp. Which is fine, some piercers have their own methods. But as she was pushing the needle through it was taking a lot longer than I was used to. My eyes started watering and it really hurt. After it was pierced it looked great and I was so excited because I was used to my jewelry ending up a lot lower and it looked like the jewelry didn’t stick out as much as when I’ve had it pierced in the past. I chalked it up to maybe a different ring than I’m used to. But it really freakin hurt. Any movement of my face stung. I also chalked that up to possible scar tissue even though I didn’t have that problem the second time I had it pierced. But now I think I’m at least 2 weeks out and the pain is still awful. If I slightly touch the tip of my nose. I’m pretty sure she pierced it in the cartilage. She didn’t even feel around for the “sweet spot” when she pierced it. She just put I dot in my nose where she planned on placing the needle. I’m hoping it will eventually heal and stop hurting so bad.

My experience here yesterday was very professional. After calling for an appointment opening at many other piercing places, Valkyrie was available right on the spot and catered to my desire of five piercings! (Nose, Doubles/Triples Ear) I’m so happy with my piercings. As I was treated very kindly and every piercing was placed with utmost care. Thank you!

Daughter, who is a pain anticipator, wanted her ears pierced. Syd was wonderful and explained everything as she moved through the process. As we left Daughter said she wants a second hole next year. Well be back!

The girls here hooked me up with the perfect septum piercing. I went in with a very crooked piercing from another shop and they repierced it perfectly 😍 even with a slightly deviated septum. I even had new jewelry put in an existing piercing while I was there.Super super positive experience. I was super comfortable. 100% will be going back. I have used many tattoo and piercing shops in Vancouver and Portland and this is by far my favorite and now the only one I will use 😊Oh! And the price was awesome!😍 I paid twice that for the messed up original that I got done in a bougie Portland shop lol.

My significant other and I got our septums done by Syd. She was incredibly friendly, clean, made us feel comfortable and was just the best expirence. I will absolutely be going back here again, I could not recommend her enough!

I needed a cover up that wasnt easy due to its placement/proximity to other work around it. After being dismissed by a few artists in the Portland area as too difficult a task, I came here and saw Quinn who proposed a solution in an instant, and completely nailed it in about an hour. The shop itself was very clean and offered a relaxed, down to earth and overall non-pretentious vibe with good conversation across the board. Well worth the commute if youre not in Vancouver, and easily accessible by public transit.

I came here as a walk-in to get a vertical labret piercing, everyone is super friendly and they were able to get me in on the spot. The piercer i seen took extra time to make sure the piercing was right where it needed to be but for some reason they seemed super nervous and shaky lol. If you’re going in for your very first piercing i would honestly recommend going elsewhere, but if you have experience with piercings and already know the after care process then this place is for you, overall a good place and clean too!

Went here for a second nose piercing and came back the same day for a septum piercing. Syd was very upfront and sweet-I love my piercings and was really comfortable getting them done here. I would definitely recommend going here for piercings 👍

I happened to stumble upon this location. Literally I googled a place for piercings close to where I was at the moment. This location popped up being the closest. They are all so nice and professional. I went in with the intention of getting my monroe re pierced. Jerry explained everything so clearly and was very considerate in the process. I highly recommend for any tattoo or piercing needs.

The piercers were so great with my son when he came in and was nervous. The only thing I wish is that they had more sizes in starter earrings.
