I was blown away by the local supplies and help from the staff. It was pleasant and had what I needed and the hours fit perfectly so I can catch them after work. You guys rock.

Maggie was excellent! I was a little wary visiting a brand new piercer, but I’ve gotten piercings here ( by others ) since I was 16, but I always get sososososososoooo nervous, she talked us through the entire process, made us so so comfortable and was so down to earth , the entire experience was great.. I absolutely loved the jewelry piercer, Bridie the first time I went to have my jewelry changed. I picked up her warm, caring & thoughtful vibes. She takes the time to work with you and shows you (which some others havent) the results. If for some reason its not exactly what you wanted, shes patient until you are 100% satisfied. Ill recommend Bridie to anyone who asks if I know a reliable and honest jewelry piercer.

Jessica was able to taper my old industrial piercing that I took out five years ago and put in a new bar. I am so happy and I love it so much. Found a new place to go for piercings. Fair prices too.

My daughter went in to get a piercing. First I called for an appt and the peircer Maggie was very polite and informative and booked our appt right away and explained the entire process as to what was needed , pricing, advice etc. We came in for our appt and she was very thorough , informative, following all policies as she should , she was very outgoing and fun , felt like I knew her forever. I even asked her if I can be her friend lol. Her answers to my question for myself about a piercing really convinced me to come back, she gave me options considered for my individual need Thank you Maggie. See you soon

I brought my daughter to get her nose pierced for her birthday 🎂. I set an appt ahead of time but still ended up waiting about an hour before anyone even acknowledged us because it was so busy and they had fallen behind. The actual piercer that our appt was with had to leave because he ran behind leaving my daughter to get pierced by the apprentice. Needless to say, I was a bit worried that a professional wasnt going to do it....I mean this is my teenage daughter are talking about! The girl ended up being very nice and did a great job....it was more painful for me to watch then it was for her to get it done..lmao. Its also cool that they have a phone holder set up so you can record your whole session to show your friends or look back on yourself.

Maggie was great during my septum piercing. She was super knowledgeable and all around welcoming during the whole process!

Started shopping here when I was in middle school. They kept me supplied with metallica shirts, posters and it was here that I first discovered nag champa incense . Im 48 now, and I still go there for tapestries, shirts and glassware. Everyone Ive ever had the pleasure of meeting on their staff are always extremely helpful and polite. And their prices are great. Going to be making an appointment for a piercing after reading the rave reviews about their staff. Slightly burnt...but still smoking.

Love this got my nose pierced here the piercer is good and friendly also patient. Very comfy place Id recommend getting your nose pierced here Im 14 and I had to get consent bought my pass port and birth certificate and got permission from my guardian and they also had a license. Thats required love this place will be coming back in the future.

A little high priced but decent store

My daughter went in a few months ago and got her nosed pierced by Eric he did an amazing job, Today she went and got her industrial piercing with Kelsey she did an amazing job and treated my daughter with care and kindness. Both experiences have been great for her. Highly recommend lifestyles for piercings!!!

Got my nose pierced here today - Such a GREAT experience. I get very anxious with piercings but the piercer that works there was SO amazing about it. She was not judgmental and really worked hard to keep me calm. She is extremely knowledgeable and passionate about piercings. Would definitely recommend her!

I have never had a bad experience at the store no matter who was working. Everyone is extremely friendly and helpful. I absolutely adore Jessica and Taylor they both go out of their way to order any piercing jewelry I need. I have gotten a half dozen piercings done by both of them and never had a problem. I will always shop here for all of my needs!!

I went there for the very first time to get my ear pierced for the first time on my cartilage on 09/02 actually. Needless to say I was nervous about what methods they used. But, my expectations were blown away. The person who did my piercing (Im not sure if hes Eric lmao sorry) was amazing, he let me pick my piercing and waited patiently (even though I didnt take too long to pick my piercing, 5 minutes tops I assume) and he was thorough with my questions and made sure I was calm even if my friend was there. It was quick and the pain on my cartilage, Ill give it a 5/10, feels like something popped but thats my pain threshold. For a first time piercing, I do recommend going here and the shop was clean and the piercer was clean as well. Ill probably come back for another piercing.

When I went Yesterday the young man working was so nice! He went the extra mile Showing me several different things since I could not go into the store. He was super friendly and chill and during times like this when everybody is on edge, and rude, it was definitely a breath of fresh air.

I went last year to get my industrial, it’s fully healed now and looks amazing. Eric did an amazing job! Now I’m going back to get my friend’s industrial piercing done.

I brought my 15 year old daughter to get her nose pierced. Eric was amazing. He explained everything to her and made her feel very comfortable. I wouldn’t hesitate to go back to him for any piercings.

Great stuff and selections. Prices a little overpriced for some things. But I like to go there more when more than others working because I get more attention and accompanied. When I visited there the hour before closing time it was only male workers and literally I was in there over 15 minutes and barely got left at four asked if I needed any help. Meanwhile I was walking around the whole entire store waiting to get spoken to and I didn’t, but a few other people walked in and they got greeted and helped quickly lol. Don’t know if I didn’t look too friendly that day or what but that shouldn’t matter when you’re at work. And even though this lifestyles has more items and it’s a bigger store I prefer to go to the other lifestyle on wolcott st because I’ve never seen a guy working there in a while. And I never have that issue at the other one!!!!!

My daughter had a very fresh septum piercing done elsewhere and one of the balls fell off of her bar almost immediately. I didn’t want to go back to the original piercer. We ended up at Lifestyles and they were amazing. Not only did I call twice that day (both young men were super nice and helpful) but when we showed up a young man (blue hair) was so sweet and patient trying to help find new balls for her circular bar.The piercer- Eric was so nice and professional. He was unable to get the new balls to fit so he replaced the entire ring (my daughter said with very little pain- FYI she said he made her feel really at ease). He also hooked me up and changed my new nostril stud with a much nicer one.Thanks Lifestyles and Eric, you made my daughter so happy. I would def recommend and we will come back again!

I went there yesterday looking to get a water pipe. The blonde girl that helped me was extremely knowledgeable and helpful. Found me a nice quality pipe for a great price. Highly recommended and will shop there again.

The girl doing the piercings was extremely nice and I appreciate her telling me that she wouldn’t do my belly button piercing because it would fall right out and leave a nasty scar. I will definitely go back for my other piercings (I have a few more ear piercings in mind). She was also very understanding when I got a little upset but I am glad she is not a con out to take money

As a woman who was alone walking in, I have always been treated respectfully by both men and women employees, they are very helpful with questions that are not what many people are comfortable asking especially strangers. I never felt embarrassed or ashamed to talk about the topics I had questions about!!!

I got two piercings here and the guy that did them was so nice and funny. People do vape and have animals inside the shop but it never comes near customers. It is clean and has anything an alternative person would need!

The piercer girl there is really nice and very informative. Shes honest! She has so much passion with her craft. I can tell shes not in it for just the money! Check her out!!! The skinny white chick... dont know anything about her apprentice.

The guy was super rough when changing my jewelry out. Almost an hour later and it still hurts. (Mind you I’ve had this piercing for over four years so it’s obviously healed by now.)

Overall good customer service. Nice selection of geodes/tumbled stones. One or two of the employees were kinda stuck up standoffish and generally no help at all but that doesnt take away from those that are very good at what they do.

Looks like they have a good variety of items, but the staff seem like they don’t care... I did not feel welcomed at all... I had to approach them first even though there were 3 people at the register. Visiting from Florida and the hospitality here is horrible.

Really really nice place with a huge selection of quality handmade bowls and waterpipes, ranging from 15 for really small and basic bowls (still glass and high quality), to 1,000 for some fancy ass waterpipes. This place also has some pretty nice gifts, candles, incense, CBD stuffs, and other really nice stuff.Its my second time there and the staff is super chill and friendly. Every 200 dollars you spend there, you get a 20% off for the next purchase, and thats really awesome. Would definitely recommend it over any other smoke shop.

Been going here for years, great vibe as soon as you walk in the door. Their selection across the board is unparalleled and theyve got some of the friendliest people working behind their counters that can help you find anything youre looking for, or simply answer any questions youve got. I was just there today and Ill probably be there again before the weekend is through

Went there today for my sisters tattoo. Marc did an amazing job and was super patient with her for her first tattoo. Some of the staff were a bit rude and standoffish but all and all it went well.

Tattoo artist/ peircing guy are super cool and helpful, great selection of gauges. Could have a better more wide variety of nectar collectors as well as bongs and bowls but still plenty to choose from.

I always have good luck here, I can find anything i need and all the staff are very helpful and courteous. Beautiful shop and a great selection of goods from glassware and all smoking accessories, piercings and tattoos as well. Very recommended.

So I got my nose pierced here months ago before covid I trusted everything it was fine and then when it was time to take out the piercing it would not come out I just got it taken out and the piercers here it had to take two piercers to take it out and then they told it was a .... LIP RING A FREAKING LIP RING WAS IN MY NOSE never again I just hope everyone else’s experience was not like mine but no piercer should mess that up when you’ve been doing it for a long time

Came here for septum jewelry (my piercing was not done here) and I was told they can’t sell jewelry without the piercer present. The girl at the front said it’s because they don’t know the different gauge sizes and such… I know the gauge of my septum and my other body jewelry. I just needed to pick something out that would be safe for a scheduled MRI I had coming up. Just wish they were more transparent about this and what times and day their piercer is present since this is their rule. Otherwise it’s a good shop.

The only reason I’m giving this ANY stars is because they had the item I went into the store for.... Other than that, the staff was plain out RUDE... literally every single one of the 3 people there ignored me until I asked to see the vape batteries. if you’re looking for personable people this is NOT THE PLACE TO GO. Save your money and go to Rock And Smoke in Rocky Hill, where they at least greet you when you walk through the damn door. The only reason I would ever come back to this POS place is if I am DESPERATE.

Do NOT get a piercing at Lifestyles of Waterbury. After butchering the piercing process (of my first earrings) I had to go to urgent care after complications and a potential infections of the piercing. On top of that, they mismatched the backstops on the earring so that they didn’t fit at all and fell off almost immediately as I got back home.

Ok so i went in tonight 10 min til closing. I have to say never have i had a bad experience... Liza i think thats her name Vegan Gal... and another young lady OMG these two young ladies were awesome... I could have spent hours in tgere talking to them. Ive been to lifestyles since it was over by the old mall. Which isnt there but. Lets say over 30 years now... Thank You for a wonderful job..

Everything they sell here, you can find cheaper on Amazon, or literally anywhere else. So people must just shop here for the outstanding customer service, right?Last time I stopped in, the Asian chick there asked if I needed help. I told her yes, I was looking for a new case. She sat down and started unboxing stuff instead of actually helping me (even when I accidentally knocked something behind the counter mere feet away from her, she remained unmoved). Came up to her several minutes later asking if they had another item in stock. She gestured vaguely to the wall behind the counter and went back to her super-important unboxing.Since she was so eager to jump up and assist me with my purchase, I walked out without buying anything. Amazon has my smoke-related business now.

I went to lifestyles at 4.20 and was suprised to see that everything was 20% off. I was looking for a vape but had no idea about it. Was helped by Jessica who had ancers to all my questions and seemed well versed when it comes to vape. Lifestyles has an inteligent and friendly staff that made my shopping experience plesent.

Eric is an awesome piercer and has done multiple of my boyfriend’s and my own piercings. he’s extremely professional but still knows how to make you comfortable in the chair. eric is one of the best around!!

My wallet was stolen while in the store. The piercing lady immediately offered to have the manager check the cameras. Some time later the manager came out saying that the only camera that was facing where I was wasnt working, and had JUST turned on. This makes me suspicious that someone the manager knew or an employee took my wallet. The two piercing ladies offered to help me look around the store and in the parking lot for my wallet. The manager was NO help.
