I was pierced by Chelsea, she is so professional and so patient! She made this the best piercing experience I’ve ever had and I have 5 previous piercings from before her. She was very thorough in explanation and made me feel so comfortable and confident while she did it even tho I was so nervous at first! 10/10 recommend!

Went with a friend to be moral support for them during their navel piercing process and while waiting, I got the spur-of-the-moment idea to try something new. That wouldnt have been something I thought of in my wildest dreams, had it not been for Hives exceptional team and the lovely environment that the studio has. I felt so welcomed and so at peace, I decided on spontaneously getting my nose pierced, even though I hadnt been pierced in over 15 years. I have no regrets at all. My piercer, Dom, was phenomenal, and helped me relax during the process. It turned out beautifully, and I am so so happy I initially decided to tag along with my friend. Will be coming back for some more piercings in time, and maybe eventually some ink! :)

Always have such an amazing experience when going here, I just had two cover ups done by Corey Adam’s, & he always does such an amazing job. Beautiful line work & such amazing artist. They’re also all very flexible with pricing & scheduling! The studio its self has amazing staff & is a very clean environment. I will always recommend going here!

Went an got tattooed during the Animal Friends Humane Society fundraising event. Everything from check-in to getting tattooed went so smoothly. My friend and I got Sam as our tattoo artist. She was so nice and friendly! It was my first time getting a tattoo, and she made me feel so comfortable. She was amazing and took time talking with us. We didnt feel rushed at all even though there was a significant amount of people in the lobby waiting. Im so glad Sam did my first tattoo!

I got a small tattoo on my wrist and I love it! This is my first and only tattoo and it was a great experience. This location is very clean, professional, and reasonably priced. Tina did my tattoo and she was so kind, provided me with amazing options for the tattoo, and did such a good job. Highly recommend

This is my second tattoo at Hive. This time I met with Leonel. He and I met online through Instagram and he was gracious enough to sketch out some ideas I had. He made a few edits I wanted as the process went along because I am indecisive by nature. When we met in person he worked with me on placement and let me be a girl and FaceTime my best friend for her opinion. All the while being very patient with me. The tattoo came out amazing. The dainty lines are brilliant and Ive already gotten a load of compliments on the tattoo artists skills! It is exactly what I was picturing and then some. Hive is a very friendly and clean environment and would recommend them to anyone.

Absolutely impressed not just with the environment but the service too. Took my nine year old to get their ears pierced today and the piercer was amazing. Walked through everything step by step, practiced breathing, was super professional. Hoping Dominique is still there when I take my youngest when they’re old enough! They made it such a friendly environment for a kid from the first phone call. On top of that they had clear guidelines and information about what you need to bring available when you call, prices listed in the website- will 100% come again for more piercings.

Update: another great expierence at Hive this time with Leo. Professional, personable, and does really great work. 10/10 would recommend and hes going to be my new go to.Had a great first expierence here with Zach. I wanted to get a fly tattoo to add to my 15 year old fish hook (and get the hook touched up and brought back to life) and it was executed flawlessly. Had an open discussion about design that we worked through really quickly then got it done. Incredibly pleased and appreciative of his work, communication l, and Hive tattoo. Also a special thank you for free handing that extremely fine line to look like fishingline/leader. Very clean, friendly, and welcoming. This will be my go to spot from now on. Loved my visit! I took part in the flash sale benefitting the Animal Friends Humane Society. It was a great experience. My artist was very personable. The shop was very inviting. I will definitely go back to them for future work.

Walk in tattoo. My friend and I didn’t even have to sign anything, no wavier. I don’t even think the tattoo artist knew my name. My lines tattoo aren’t straight. Didn’t discuss pricing with us. It was weird. Shame on me for not asking but you figure they would talk to you as any good tattoo place does. Wouldn’t recommended. Also the tattoo artist didn’t have any tattoos on his arms that were visible. Should have been red flag #1. I think I’m so upset with my tattoo I will never get one again. Moral of the story, get to know your tattoo artist before you get one.

Had an amazing experience today with Kyle as my artist. It’s the first scheduled, professionally done tattoo I have - my others are just flash sale tattoos. This one has special meaning to me. Thank you all for making it happen! I feel like I’ve found my tattoo artist and when I have more ideas and after this one heals, I will DEFINITELY return for more. Kyle is a fantastic artist, he was immaculately clean, knowledgeable, personable, and talented. Couldn’t ask for a better experience. Thank you so much! Looking forward to working together again!

I’ve gotten a couple different piercings done @ hive by dom and i love them!! she’s so sweet and i’ve never had any problems with any of them! definitely recommend :)editing to add that I just got two new tattoos from tina and she did amazing. again, love this place & the people here. she did great at executing the idea i came to her with!

I have gotten several tattoos from Tina and she is always a joy to get tattooed by! She is very friendly and will accommodate to what you want with your tattoo. The studio space is also very clean and polished. I would highly recommend Hive Tattoo and Tina specifically to just about anyone who wants a tattoo.

We were in town, from Texas, for a Bengals game and my daughter and I wanted matching tattoos. Yall were very accommodating and professional. Everyone we talked to, from scheduling to getting checked in, was very nice. The place is beautiful and I think our tattoo guy was named Zach and he was great! If we ever come back to Ohio, yall would be the only place we would use! Thank you for a great experience!

***Update*** I took my son to Hive for his first tattoo. I am so glad I found this place because I can’t speak highly enough of them. Leo was such a talented artist & had the greatest level of patience with my son who has Autism. The ladies at the front desk are lovely as well & the shop is cool & trendy.I love my new conch piercing! I’ll refer to it as my mid life crisis piercing. 😂I looked around at a few different shops and decided on Hive because I could tell they are extremely clean & have the best selection of jewelery. They are a little bit higher priced than some of the other shops but you get what you pay for. I highly recommend them!

I am thrilled with my experience at Hive Tattoo Collective. The staff was very welcoming and friendly. They efficiently made the process easy from arranging an appointment to signing me in on the day of my tattoo. I truly enjoyed working with my artist, Sam. She patiently discussed the details of my tattoo before working quickly and was so fun to talk to that I was surprised when she said she was finished. Went here for my first tattoo and absolutely loved my experience with everyone in the shop! Christina took a simple idea and made it perfect for me. She did great work and was fun to chat with. I will be coming back for more!

I would avoid this place. It seems like too many of their staff members dont know what theyre doing. I went in to buy new jewelry for my eyebrow piercing and a consultation on a cover up. They gave me a belly button ring for my eyebrow and I had to pay a deposit without seeing a portfolio or even have an actual conversation with anyone about what I wanted tattooed on my body! In the months following I never got any contact of any kind until the night before the supposed appointment. When I requested my deposit back because I never got to work with the artist or see any design for my tattoo (which was never done by the artist) I was reprimanded and denied because I didnt DM the guy on Instagram (which I was never given). Basically the place got a couple hundred dollars from me and I got nothing but a snarky email after about 8 months of nothing.

Sam did my wifes cover up and did a flawless job. Her new tattoo looks amazing. The detail and shading were emaculate. Would definitely recommend hive tatto collective as your cover up and tattooing needs.

10/10 recommend! I walk in and was greeted by a Ms. Jen and she was super nice and helpful! Kenna pierced my nose and it came out flawless! Will be back for a tattoo and maybe another piercing.

I got my first ever tattoo done by Tina and couldn’t have asked for a better experience! She did a custom tattoo of my cats and it turned out amazing! Place is amazing. Friendly staff. Very professional. I cant give this place enough praise. From the people who book the schedules to the artists themselves, they make you feel at home. I went there for a tattoo. My artist was Tina. She did a phenomenal job on my first tattoo. Got part of the second tattoo done today, and she did a great job on the outline. She (Along with the other artists) really care about the work she does, and like the other artists, shes very easy to work with. Theyll give you clear instructions on what to do after you get a tattoo or a piercing. I definitely recommend this place to anyone who wants a new tattoo or piercing, and to anyone whos getting their first.

So professional, yet fun. The studio is beautiful, the staff knowledgeable & the artwork exactly as desired. My son still has a bit more he wants done before this is complete, but he has been absolutely at ease throughout the entire process which is a big deal for a 1st tattoo!

Tina did a wonderful job on our tattoo! She was friendly and professional! She had a light touch and my tattoo has healed nicely!I also got my conched pierced on one ear. The piercer took care to let me know what was happening. It is also healing nicely.Everything in the spaces were tidy and they took care to use sanitary needles.

I have been two Hive twice now! My first visit was to get my belly button pierced, I forget the name but they were great! Quick and easy! I also see Tina for tattoo work and she is amazing! She has a true talent and a great personality too! The shop itself is very clean and welcoming! I highly reccomend Hive + Tina!

Tina is an incredible artist! She is super talented, very kind and makes you comfortable in the chair. I have a bunch of tattoos and have come to really value how tattoo artists treat their clients. She lays down clean lines and her color work is so vibrant. But most importantly she makes sure you love what you are getting and feel safe and understand the process. She has skill sets that cant be taught that she just possesses from being a great person. I would recommend her to someone getting their 100th tattoo or their first.

We had a fantastic experience again at Hive! We saw Leo, who had done a tattoo for me previously. This time he did one for me and my daughter and he did a wonderful job with both the sketch of the tattoo and throughout the whole experience. Great shop, great experience. We will be back again!

I recently got a sleeve started by Samantha and she was absolutely delightful and had a ton of great ideas to help bring everything together. I am excited to continue working with Samantha as we make an awesome sleeve!!I have also had a few piercings done at this shop. They are super clean and quick. Will be getting more piercings in the future.

I recently got my first tattoo at Hive and I can confidently say I’ll be back. The shop has a comfortable, clean atmosphere with friendly staff. Zach is an awesome artist to work with; he is extremely talented and did such an amazing job bringing my tattoo idea to life. We discussed the design over email and I provided a rough sketch, but I was still blown away by the final product. He made my first tattoo experience much more enjoyable and calm than I expected, on top of being really cool to talk to. I went to get a small memorial tattoo and had the pleasure of have Leo as my artist and he was so patient, kind, respectful and talented! His art work is so beautiful and was able to help give me exactly what I was looking for. He was so kind and patient with me as I changed my location a few times and the size and I honestly can not recommend him enough. The women at the front desk was so kind, helpful and caring when helping me through my set up, payment and giving me some super cute stickers. The studio is so cute, clean and super comfortable environment. I will be back and cant wait to have HIVE continue my tattoo journey!

I got a matching tattoo with my brother, Leo was amazing and super chill. I dont talk a lot but my brother had a really good time chatting with him! I think the tattoos look awesome!

Had a custom piece drawn out that I had given the artist a couple of photos and description of what I wanted exactly for reference, and after about a month wait for my appointment, the artist(cant remember his name) draws something LAST min and looks nothing like my references and says I would have to reschedule again if he had to draw something new because my description wasnt his style of tattooing. Reluctantly I went ahead and agreed to the tattoo because I didnt want to wait another month or so for another piece and I just didnt want this guy acting more of a prick than he already was. Artist went SLOW constantly bouncing around and hitting same areas over n over n over. And not to mention he would look at my other tattoos from other artists and say they werent as good as if he did them, they were just ok, and once again not his style. I have plenty of tattoos from lots of different artists and this was the worst of all... The piece is nice I wont lie but its just not my style. 2 stars for the clean modernized shop and the quiet wireless tattooing guns.

Ive had two pieces of work done by Brian Keith at the Hive Tattoo Collective and this is the place to go! Brian does amazing art work. The detail and saturation he achieves is unmatched. Everyone at the shop is so friendly and the shop is very clean. I recommend anyone shopping for an artist to consider Brian or check out the rest of the staff to see what suits your needs. Took my daughter here tonight, and it was our first time at this shop, the service was amazing. her piercer Don was absolutely outstanding will definitely be referring her to anyone who asked for piercings. My daughter is seven she was a little scared, but Don did a wonderful job, talking to her and assuring her everything would be OK and if she did not want her to do it, she would not, and walked her through every step of the way and gave her a stuff to animal to hold on while getting her ears pierced all around a great experience..

I got tatted by Corey Adams and the experience was amazing! The shop was very nice and clean and I loved the vibe they had going in there. The check in process was very smooth and the waiting area was chic and comfortable. The woman working at the front desk was extremely kind and welcoming. I knew I’d be back and I went back last week and got 4 tattoos with Tina. I felt so welcome and she made me feel so comfortable and welcome. She answered all my questions and we had a great conversation! She’s an amazing artist and my tattoos look beautiful when they were done and they are healing so well. By far the best experience I’ve had getting a tattoo. I got the most mazing cover-up/rework by Vince!! All the staff are very friendly, the shop itself was very clean and also very cute (love the bees). I’ll just have to remember to bring a blanket next time…so cold.

Came in on my 18th birthday for a navel piercing. Amazing and very kind staff. It was a great experience and the jewelry selection was awesome. They even replaced one of the items I purchased that was not working properly. Edit: The piercing has mostly straightened itself out but ive had trouble and pain ever since with it, it never healed; even with cleaning every day. Turned out i needed to get a floating navel and not the traditional piercing. I have now developed a keloid scar and will not come back for any other services. Please check anatomy.

Great work place. Although I got my nose piercing done almost 3 months ago the healing process has been rough and I have 10+ piercings and this is the only one I have difficulty with. The piercer was comfortable but I will say she is heavy handed which cause heavy swelling the first week which was unbearable. I have recently taken the piercing out cause of the pain I was experiencing. Also the ball of the piercing came out the first night I was cleaning. And ever since I had to keep retightening it since it wasn’t done correctly in the first place.

Had a great experience. Leo was awesome! He gave awesome attention to detail in designing what I wanted, explained the process and gave as much time as needed to make sure I felt comfortable with everything including after care. Would highly recommend HIVE to friends!!

Brian was super chill and did such a good job on my first tattoo, he was pretty gentle and kept up with my well being asking me if I wanted water or to take a break, definitely recommend him. The atmosphere in hive was really layer back and calm with great music. All stuff is friendly.

Wouldn’t recommend getting your nose pierced from here. I went here with my bf months ago and his nose ring came out less than 3 days. Then me and my sister went here on her birthday to get our nose pierced and the exact same thing happened to us days later. The nose ring is too small, the piercer is very heavy handed while piercing and didn’t twist the bar properly. I also think we shouldn’t be laying down while getting our nose piercing done… (Payed $97)

Got this lil guy from Tina’s flash and she did an amazing job! She was extremely easy to talk to which helped with distracting me from the pain of getting a tattoo! The shop itself is really cool and everyone is super friendly!

Samantha Mikesell gave me my first tattoo. It wasn’t a big tattoo, (just numbers and a cross on my inner wrist) but I was still very nervous. She didn’t make me feel silly at all. When she started, she made a point of “talking me through the pain,” and then it was done and I wondered why I was nervous to begin with! She volunteered to come in on her day off to do this because it was an important day for me. I will never forget that kindness. She helped me with the final design and placement, sanitized everything, and was overall very efficient. I would highly recommend her. Hive Tattoo is a STUNNING space, very clean, classy and edgy, and well-designed. Nothing like I thought a tattoo parlor would be. Thank you for a great experience!

I have gone to see Tina for tattoos 3x in the past few months. I can confidently say she’s my artist 👍🏼 she did amazing on the two tattoos I chose and the third one that she designed. I recommend her to everyone! Our work is definitely not done yet.

I had a custom tattoo I wanted done and had been canceled in last minute by two different shops. My husband called The Hive and they got me an appointment the next day after we called. The shop is very nice! It’s modern, clean and comfortable. Tina did my tattoo and she did an amazing job! She even added her own shading to the design I had and it made the art even better! I would definitely go back and this shop is even over an hour from where I live.

This was my first tattoo experience and it exceeded my expectations. The place was very clean, had a modern and edgy style, and the staff was incredibly nice and welcoming. I picked Hive tattoo because they were able to get me in immediately. My first interaction was over the phone; the gal I spoke with was extremely professional and helpful. She asked me to email her my design, and she responded immediately to confirm one of the artists could fit me in. Upon arrival, the staff was welcoming, and the vibe was good. The shop itself was clean and had a great floor plan. Then, to make it even better, I got lucky and was paired up with Tina. I am getting a divorce and wanted something permanent to honor my two boys as we face a new chapter in our lives. Tina hooked me up with a letter design I brought in for a forearm tattoo (Capital H for my 5 yr old Harrison and a lower case h for my 3 year old Henry). She printed out a few different sizes to consider. I couldnt be happier with the final product, she did a fantastic job. Plus, she is a delightful person to chat with while she works. I was considering asking her out for a coffee or drink but bailed because I am still legally locked down for a few more months. I digress... Bringing it back... Excellent shop ran by excellent people and artists. TY!

We came in yesterday for their Halloween flash sale and had a great experience. The owner was very welcoming and kind. Visited Hive for the first time during flash day, the experience was nothing short of perfect! I have been here twice for piercing. Very clean shop with a cool vibe. Excellent professional experience with Dom. Myself and both of my teens had helix/lobe piercings. Dom made everyone comfortable and my youngest cant believe how little it hurt.

I was greeted as soon as I walked in. The check in process was very easy. I was a walk in for the flash sale but I did not have to wait long. Lily greeted me and let me know she was going to clean up and set up her station for our appointment. As I was getting the tattoo on my ribs, she made me feel very comfortable and shut the curtains to give me a bit of privacy. She was very easy to talk to during the session and made me feel very comfortable the entire time. I was very impressed by the entire establishment and am looking forward to my appointment there in May. I really appreciate Lily and each staff member I came in contact with today for making the process very easy. Definitely going to be back again and would love to work with Lily again!

I got a tattoo on my forearm from my artist Brian Keith. The piece was pretty large and detailed. The work was amazing, I love it. I moved to Cinci back in February and as we all know it can be incredibly difficult to find a new piercer and tattoo artist that you trust. Well I was referred to Hive Collective Tattoos by a coworker. I walk in and the place has amazing energy, very clean, and very nice people working the desk! I had gotten a tattoo here with Tina last December, which was a fantastic experience! However, when I went to get a naval piercing this June, my experience did not live up to my expectations. When I arrived at the shop, it was relatively empty, but they still took about 15 minutes to even speak to me, and about 45 minutes to service me, even though there were no other customers waiting. Furthermore, I almost immediately realized I did not have the correct anatomy for a naval piercing after it was pierced, and my piercing rejected in about 2-3 weeks. I think a licensed and reputable piercer that I paid about $70 should know what is and isnt the correct anatomy for a standard piercing. I think that tattoo services here are fantastic, but I am pretty disappointed in the knowledge/quality of the piercing services offered here. Furthermore, I felt relatively uncomfortable in the environment, as it felt like my presence was not really wanted. I will likely not be returning to this establishment in the future, which is a shame, especially given that I absolutely LOVE the tattoo I previously received here.

I could not have had a better experience here! I walked in during the flash sale, it was extremely busy so I had to wait a little bit. There were multiple employees checking on me, asking if I needed water or food, and the artist Christina was so kind and even went out of their way to make adjustments to the flash tattoo that I wanted. The work turned out beautiful, the shop was extremely clean, and the staff was all around incredible. I cant wait to come back for more!

Sam is the best, my half sleeve is everything I could have ever wanted! If you want a gothic style tattoo, Sam is your gal!Also, I got my septum piercing done here! Everything was done properly and in sterile procedure so not a hint of infection for me. In fact, its almost healed after two weeks!Overall, staff is awesome! You can tell these folks care about what they are doing, not to mention that they are fun people to be around. May be a bit more pricey than some rinky-dink place but totally and udderly WORTH IT!!

Leo was an apprentice when he offered to do tattoo work on the backs of my thighs, and I am so glad I agreed because that boy made them perfect and I could not be happier with the outcome.

I was able to get in within the first few weeks while scheduling. When I arrived, everyone was welcoming and the space was beautiful. I just got a wrap around arm tattoo from Tina. And she did not disappoint. She free handed these vines and I have never been so obsessed with a tattoo! She’s amazing and so friendly! Couldn’t have asked for a better artist :)

Inked for the first time! It was an awesome experience. Zach is amazing. He listened to my ideas, created the design and made changes based on my comments. He explained the whole process and made sure that I am comfortable through out the process. And the best thing is that I got to do it with my best friend. The place itself is great with a cool vibe. We felt welcomed from the moment we walked in for a consult. Studio is super clean and is sanitized between sessions.
