Studio Seven Piercing

I got my very first piercings done at Studio Seven (mall location) yesterday and couldn’t be happier with the experience! Five stars all around. That being said, I wanted to give some specific shout outs and a bit of a more detailed review for those of you considering getting pierced here.Specific thank you to Veronica for taking the time to help me pick what earrings I wanted. Veronica seemed genuinely interested in helping me find something I would like, took the time to help me evaluate multiple options, and did not at all make me feel rushed or pressured in any way.Tori was my piercer and did an amazing job ensuring I was happy with the placement, answering my questions, and making me feel completely at ease about the process. I was a bit nervous since this was my first piercing, but Tori did a great job reassuring me and taking the time to make sure that everything was done right. Thanks again!Lastly, but probably most importantly, I want to state that cleanliness and sanitation at Studio Seven completely exceeded my expectations. My jewelry was put in the autoclave before piercing, and Tori wore disposable gloves for my piercing. They even used a single-use marker to make the dots for where my piercings would go. To top it off, the saline after care solution was vegan which may not be important for everyone, but definitely matters to me.

Attended to right away and staff were really nice. Roy made the process smooth, easy and painless. I tried to get my money back before the service because it was pricey, but I couldn’t which I was bummed out but, if the prices are going to be high at least give a kit after the piercing.

When are there for the first time to get my Tragus pierced both sides had a really amazing experience. The ladies were very nice and helped me pick out the Jewelry that was right for me. And the piercer guy I think his name was Roy was amazing and made me feel very comfortable because I was nervous. I would definitely highly recommend going there to get your piercing. They where really great.

The shop itself is very nicely kept and is inviting. The staff are very friendly and super helpful. I originally went in but the intentions of possibly having to buy a chain which they had many lovely options to choose from. However, none of them would fit me for my nostril piercings were further apart. They referred me to a company called Black Forest. She was very informative and helped me choose my perfect chain. In short, she created a masterpiece, it did end up needing to be trimmed just a bit, but I had no worries, i had nothing to fear, master chain cutter, Mike was there and he made sure it fit perfectly!!! I cannot tell you how thrilled, I am with the chain and the level of customer service I received from the beginning to the end of the process. This will be my only go to shop. If you’re looking to have any piercings done, custom jewelry made , or ideas for Curation, I highly recommend them. You won’t be dissatisfied.🫶

Took my wife and kids here for some piercings and it was excellent. Michael and his staff were polite and helpful. The space was clean and well organized.

Had a wonderful experience today! The staff was patient with me while I was deciding on jewelry. They had so much to choose from! They answered all of my questions. Lexi was my piercer. I loved her and her personality. She is very knowledgeable and gentle. She was very thorough and explained aftercare and the healing process very well. 10/10 would recommend!

Front area workers are nice and knowledgeable, but piercers both times I’ve gone have given me very quick, misplaced or painful experiences. I’ve been too nice to say in person, especially when the piercers are not very nice or welcoming. Wouldn’t recommend if you’re looking for a piercing that is placed correctly or cleaned.

The easiest, smoothest, kindest and most patient piercing place that I’ve ever been. Front staff was so kind and considerate. I went for my first piercing and they were so kind and patient with me! They answered all of my questions with ease!! Will definitely be going back!!

My 87 year old grandmas got her ears re-pierced here and felt fabulous afterwards. They had closed up and she needed them redone. We had an excellent experience with the team and were very impressed with their cleanliness, fast service and knowledge. Would highly recommend.

Wilmington is so fortunate to have such a top notch piercing studio! They have a massive variety of jewelry with options to customize or order exactly what youre looking for.The staff is always extremely friendly and knowledgable, and the prices are very reasonable for the quality of products and services.Ive gone in a few times over the year for jewelery and for help stretching up my spetum and its always been a quick and seamless experience. I stopped by today and want to shoutout Hannah and the piercer working (I didnt catch their name). They were both so welcoming and friendly and made whats usually a great experience even better.

My friend and I stopped in while visiting Wilmington and had a great experience! We both were really impressed with how clean, organized, and straight forward everything was. Micheal and Hannah were there to help us and were extremely knowledgeable and friendly. Hannah went out of her way to find my friend a list of jewelry places back at home. I will definitely be coming back again next time I’m here.

This location may even better than the mall location. Which I went to years ago and got my tragus pierced with a beautiful opal. A friend and I stopped by today a Saturday for a walk in! I was helped to find the perfect earring for my rook piercing that I got done within 20 mins of being there! 10/10

I’ve gotten almost all of my piercings done with this company and I’m never disappointed. Very straightforward, quick and professional. Also super clean. Piercing prices are reasonable, the custom jewelry is pretty expensive but that’s to be expected for the quality. Highly recommend.

Amazing place was greeted by a very nice women as well as another one. The guy who pierced me Roy I highly recommend he made me comfortable and when he pierced my labret free handed I didnt even feel it he was fast and gentle. Will always go to him for my piercings.

If I could give Studio Seven 10 stars, I would, no questions asked!! I’ve gotten 5 piercings here in the last 5 months, pretty much all with Michael and have had nothing but great experiences! Michael and the staff are always super friendly and I feel welcomed each time I walk in. Even if I’m not getting a new piercing, I come in just for the aesthetic of being here and to get jewelry. The jewelry selection is great and you can even special order jewelry!!Everything done here is super sanitary, trustworthy, and professional. I definitely won’t ever be going anywhere else for my piercings and jewelry in the future. Thank you Michael and staff! Love you studio seven!!

Absolutely love this place! I’ve had a few piercings and jewelry changes done here over the past few weeks, and everyone here is always super knowledgeable and friendly. You can tell they really care about their work and making sure their customers are happy. Couldn’t ask for a better experience!

Got 3 piercings the day i came in. Mind you, its real great quality. but, 3 months later it comes out and its gone. i go in hoping theyll replace because ive spent almost over $300 2022 for quality earrings and $300 in February 2023.. (mind you the one thats gone is the one in february i just got done) The owner had the audacity to say yeah you can buy a brand new one. i understand where hes coming from. My point is, ive been a very loyal customer and have spent so much money and spoke highly of them. His partner and him are very disrespectful. DO NOT go there they will charge you 120 for a re-pierce and a new earring. (even though i just got it pierced and it went missing the other night.) terrible service. Most places will respect if its been done within the few months but according to the owner with the meanest face says that doesnt apply. they wont be seeing me again. Promise do better yall. try Royal studio ilms Great service and super understanding.

If you truly care about quality, craftsmanship, and exceptional service this is your place. I live about 2 and 1/2 hours away but drove there for the quality and they did not disappoint!!! Exceptional selection! Exceptional people!The jewelry is pricey but its real metal and real stones. Its the Fine Jewelry store for your piercings.

I came back for a re-piercing and new stud ring. I enjoy my new ring SO much and just in time for cute vacation pics!

This place is amazing!!!I had no idea that body jewelry could be so high quality. The shop itself is so clean, and so professional looking it feels like walking into a boutique.The service Michael and his staff provide is top notch, and I’ve never felt so comfortable in a piercing studio!The personalized one on one service, in-depth explanations of the jewelry, procedure and aftercare is unmatched.Michael is a very talented piercer, and I’m beyond happy I picked Studio Seven. This place does not disappoint, not only do you get wonderful service, you really get a bang for your buck, and most importantly you feel like one of them. They really do go out of their way to make you feel at home and comfortable.

Love this place so much! The staff are super knowledgeable about piercings and jewelry. We have been to the mall location multiple times with my 15 and 13 yr old with great success and happiness. Today my 8 yr old was old enough to get her first piercing. Micheal at the University Landing location was a great supporter to my girl and did an amazing job marking the perfect spot and piercing. She didn’t shed one tear and was very comfortable! 5 star place 5 star service!

I adore studio vii. Taylor, Alice, and Myra are AMAZING and I always have my fingers crossed that theyll be in when I go to look for new jewelry. Bobby and Roy, the piercers, are super professional and I always feel super comfortable in their chairs. I know Ill leave safe and thrilled with that I get! Studio VII changed me from someone who only had my basic lobes pierced to someone who has 5 other piercings and counting. I love this place!

I cannot say enough good things about this studio! Everyone was kind and personable and easy to talk to. Piercing studios can be intimidating but not this one! I was able to take my time looking at the enormous amount of jewelry they have (SO MANY OPTIONS) and ask all my questions without feeling pressured.

My friend and I got matching helixs and our experience with Studio Seven was amazing. The staff was super helpful, knowledgeable and nice! Our piercer (Bobby) was very honest about the process and had a lot of experience with piercings and had a very sound technique. A week later and my friend and I are having little to no pain at all from our helixs! Thank you Studio Seven and Bobby! We love our helixs and are definitely coming back if we want more!

I hadnt had a piercing done in over 15 years! The staff at Independence Mall was phenomenal! They helped me pick out the perfect stud and placement! Will definitely be back!

I got my septum pierced here back in October. The piercer did an amazing job! I waited for about fifteen minutes before getting pierced, and after that it took five minutes at most. The piercer was friendly and well experienced. The studio itself is extremely clean and the pricing is decent. I will be coming back to get my jewelry next time. I recommend this place if your looking to get pierced.

Fun atmosphere, clean facility, helpful staff, and a variety of high-quality local handmade jewelry. If you need help with the Curation, talk to Hannah, Jay does a great job with piercing and making sure you’re happy with the placement before and after.

Studio seven is a cute quaint shop. The receptionist is very polite and helpful. They had a good selection of nose rings and she helped me pick the right one. I had to pay an extra $5 to have the piercer put my ring in. He made sure that my hole was still open since it had been a couple of months since I last had a ring in it. He was able to put my nose ring in quickly and painlessly, well almost painlessly lol. Very clean shop. Id definitely come back if I need another piercing or more jewelry.

I spent almost an hour picking out a very inexpensive septum ring. As you can imagine I was very sad when I couldn’t put it in (I had left my piercing out for two weeks). I’m from out of town, and I couldn’t get back to my home piercer - these folks really took care of me. They were able to stretch it back to its original size in seconds. Both the independence mall and university landing locations are so sweet and patient. If you’re a shy or sensitive person, just know they have great customer service and will not judge you if you have hesitations or questions.

These folks are absolutely the best piercers I have ever met. They are very professional if you are new to piercing they walk you through every single step, definitely going back.

Came here for the first time yesterday for a conch piercing: awesome experience! The staff is extremely friendly, knowledgeable, and made my experience super comfortable, I didn’t even flinch and the placement is spot on! I will be coming here for all of my future piercings :)

Great staff at this location. I had to have a piercing I got at a different studio (always remember you get what you pay for) jewelry removed and replaced with a piece from Studio Sevens jewelry and the staff was great with helping me pick a piece that would be comfortable and the correct size. They offer a service to switch out the jewelry which made it a quick and easy process. Piercer at this location is awesome, friendly answered all of my questions on my metal allergies. Place was very clean and sterile, would highly-rated recommend this place. Do want to mention that the jewelry can be a bit pricey but you get what you pay for. Their quality of jewelry is a lot better than some of the shops I have been too, I will gladly pay the price for great jewelry.

HIGHLY RECOMMEND! I went into the mall location first and even though the piercer wasnt there, I still got to fill out all my paperwork, pick out my jewelry, and pay before going to the this location later that day. The girls at the mall location were very professional and helpful with all my questions. There are tons of jewelry options. Yes, they are a little expensive but they are all great quality and genuine stones, metal, etc. When I arrived to get pierced it was only a short wait because I had already done my paperwork. The piercer did an AMAZING job doing my medusa. He warned me that it was going to hurt but it was super painless! He was very informative and made sure I was aware of all aftercare.

Went yesterday and had my helix pierced for the second time since I let it grow up before. I vividly remember the first time I got it done and the healing part was so painful. ( went to a different place the first time) This time this place was so professional and so clean. I did not feel a thing and the healing part is night and day difference. No.pain at all. 10 out of 10 would recommend this place.

I got my vertical philtrum done at the mall location. I felt very taken care of by all of the staff. The front of house was so helpful in picking out jewelry and they were super friendly and encouraging! The piercer was so professional and knowledgeable. He talked me through everything so I felt more at ease. The piercing I got was a more painful one, but he made it a very smooth process and the pain was minimal. I would recommend this place for anyone that wants a piercing. I drive over and hour and a half to be seen here, and almost all of my piercings are from Studio Seven :) the jewelry selection is also amazing!

Visiting from out of town, scheduled an appointment at their mall location for 2 piercings. Went extremely well! Bobby was our piercer- he even recommended a shop near our home town to visit with any issues! The receptionist was also very knowledgeable and kind during the checkout process. She custom colored my jewelry in store before piercing. I would recommend this location to anyone in the area looking for some new stuff! Thanks again!

My nose stud fell out during the night and I couldnt find it, so I decided to go to Studio Seven Piercing to get a new stud and a new nose ring. Staff was very friendly and helped me pick out the correct size jewelry that I would like. They helped me pick out ones that would look good with my nose. It is a bit pricey, but definitely worth it for such great quality. The piercer put in my new nose ring for me. My piercing already started to close since my stud fell out, so I was very thankful they offer the service to help change jewlery for you! Definitely will stop by there again! :)

Pricey but WORTH IT!! Everyone there is respectful, informative and so so nice. I wasn’t nervous at all. Got my belly button pierced & after assessing my anatomy they let me know I needed a floating belly button ring instead of a normal one. I’m so happy with the way it looks and can’t wait to go back to shop for a new belly ring. They have a large selection of belly rings to choose from and can even customize the metal color!!

Love the environment. Clean and bright. The jewelry options are endless and surprisingly customizable.My favorite part Marinelli really takes your anatomy into consideration and will make suggestions on alternative placements or jewelry that Im sure will satisfy you.The actual piercing process is quite quick and I made multiple parts of my ear done by him with various thickness in cartilage and each time I felt no hesitation and any pain lasted for literally 3 seconds or less.Mira (The lady at the front desk)is really nice and is patient with me as I constantly ask for prices, advice, or specific metals, shapes, etc.This is the ONLY place I will go to in Wilmington for all of my piercing needs.

I’ve repeatedly had the most incredible experiences at Studio Seven! I’ve been pierced at both the University Landing shop and the mall location over the past 3 months - both are impeccably clean, staffed with knowledgeable and helpful employees, and have the sickest and most extensive jewelry collections I’ve ever seen! Michael is super professional and equally laid back! He’s truly an artist and you can tell he loves what he does by the quality of his work. We’ve done 9 new piercings and he’s corrected 2 that were done incorrectly at another shop - I couldn’t be happier.

I have been to a few piercers in the Wilmington area, and have never felt more at home than at Studio Seven. Michael is absolutely amazing and I trust him wholeheartedly with whatever I come in for, and all of the staff have been equally as helpful and passionate about piercings and piercing care. They have tons of options and the quality is top notch. I could not recommend a more well rounded piercing studio.

Ive gone to Studio Seven for 3 of my piercings. Michael did 2 of them. He is fantastic, personable, and quick. Very knowledgeable staff. The shops are clean, well layed out, and great selection of jewelry. They make you feel comfortable and take their time with you. I will not go anywhere else!!!!

I stopped in a couple weeks ago to discuss an irritated piercing. Michael was extremely helpful and knowledgeable about the issue. I returned today to get the jewelry changed and was extremely nervous, despite the fact I have multiple piercings and large tattoos, because in the past a piercer hurt me very badly changing the same piercing. Bobby was very gentle and comforting and gave me great advice to calm the piercing down and was extremely kind. Everyone, including the girl in the front, is so nice and knows what they’re talking about. I will only get piercings here from now on. Wonderful shop!

I went in to have a piercing that another piercer botched checked, and the staff was super kind and helpful. The piercer, Bobby, told my friend and me what had been done wrong with our nostril piercings and gave us his honest advice while not pressuring us into anything. We had the piercings removed and then got the opposite nostrils done by Bobby, who did an amazing job! He was sweet, funny, and professional; I have never felt so safe and comfortable around a guy with a needle! I will only be getting my piercings done at Studio 7 from now on.Update: Since having Bobby fix our nostrils, I’ve had another nostril done by Michael; four lobe piercings by Bobby; and a vertical labret by Lexie. All piercings are doing great, and I recommend Studio 7 to anyone who asks where they should get their piercings done!

Got two piercings over the weekend in Wilmington. Started at a shop downtown. Pretty unprofessional, awkward experience. Found this spot when I was shopping in the mall and decided to get more. It was such a better experience! The staff is super helpful. And I love that you have so many options to choose from. Super clean environment. I can’t remember the name of our piercer but he was great! Highly recommend.

My go-to for professional, gorgeous piercings. Very clean and put together, super high quality pieces! If im not getting pierced, im shopping! Front of house are super kind and helpful. Piercers are professional, nice, and amazing at what they do! Highly recommend going here, even if its just a visit!! Got my right nostril done by Bobby... front of house helped me pick out this gorgeous piece and Bobby pierced it to match my other nostril perfectly, and installed the same piece to replace the ring i had in it.

I got a conch piercing here a few days ago. The place is clean and the girl working at the front desk was so nice and willing to talk to me about different jewelry options. It’s definitely a little pricey but you get what you pay for. The jewelry is great quality and the piercer worked with me to get the placement I wanted. I would recommend this shop to a friend and I’ll definitely be back for more.

Excellent experience having our 15 year old daughters ears pierced here for the first time. It was 4 weeks ago on her birthday and she has had no issues at all. We just had to provide our IDs as parents and sign for her since she is a minor. Michael was very professional and put our daughter at ease. Afterward she said getting her ears pierced wasnt bad at all and she is very happy with the results. Thanks Michael.

I first visited Studio Seven back in 2016 and have been a loyal customer since! I have had nothing but positive experiences at both locations and couldn’t be happier. I have been lucky to have Michael for all three of my ear piercings(and soon to be 4th). He does an awesome job and I trust his opinion and suggestions when picking out jewelry and piercing positioning. I am working on upgrading all my piercings to gold jewels and Michael has been a huge help with that process as well. Both locations have endless options of jewelry. I recommend Studio Seven to anyone looking for a piercing or jewelry upgrade!!

I have gotten 7 piercings here all by Michael Marinelli and have had no problems at all. The healing process was perfect along with the jewelry he helped pick out. Everyone is super nice there and they all know their stuff. I 100% recommend Studio Seven for any piercings (ear, nose, etc.)

I have been going to Studio VII for a couple years now and I absolutely love it. They have the friendliest staff , the best selection of unique jewelry and Mike their piercer is beyond helpful. He always helps me change my jewelry out and explains in detail what the jewelry is and how to use it. He is a fast piercer and has the jewelry inserted before you get a chance to feel it! Everyone is laid back making the environment stress free and best of all I leave the shop feeling confident that Im not going to regret my new body mods! If any of my friends or family want to get something done I always recommend Studio VII!

I have been to many piercing shops and had many different experiences. Studio Seven is by far the best shop I have been to. I have had three piercings done by Michael and every time, I have received the best service and the best piercings. The jewelry is beautiful, the shop is clean, and Michael is very knowledgeable on what he is doing. I definitely recommend this shop.

Really impressed with the entire process of piercing. I came in for my tragus a bit nervous given I havent gotten a non-lobe piercing in over 10 years. Michael did such a great job that I hardly felt any pain - less pain from previous non-lobe piercing. My only suggestion for anyone here is to check out prices beforehand - you really get what you pay for so its not a cheap place for a piercing. Would highly recommend for folks looking for a quality experience.

Ive been going to studio VII Piercing and Tattoo since they first opened about 4 years ago and I have always had great customer service. The girls are always super friendly, the shop is really really clean, and always looks nice. They have the biggest selection of body jewelery. ( more than anyone else in town) Ive been pierced by mike and hes really good, fast, and sterile. I get tattooed by Robbie Kass and let me tell you.... hes fantastic. His line work is clean and his color is amazing. All is all this shop is great and I highly recommend this shop to everyone.

LONG REVIEW- I included everything I would want to know if I were a new customer.One day I just happened to be walking in the mall and I stopped in (because it is such a convenient location so why not). I was immediately helped by a lovely employee. I stopped by a few more times, contemplating piercings, looking at jewelry and learning about their procedure for performing the piercings and for keeping things sanitary. Finally, I had enough money to get my belly button pierced and once again the staff was amazing (not to mention that every one of them has awesome piercings). I got my belly button pierced by Roy, who I loved. He was so sweet and helpful. I like to see things clean and their procedure went above and beyond to keep things sanitary. He wiped down the chair before and after I sat in it, opened a brand new set of sealed tools, used new cleaning products both before and after the piercing to keep things sanitary, and even let me keep the purple marker that was used to mark the piercing because they do not reuse them. I went in to have my belly ring changed a few times while it was healing and I was treated with such care. The piercing healed beautifully thanks to the instructions and cleanser provided by the staff. I went in to have my nose done and I was sad to find out that Roy had moved, I was a little scared to have a new piercer, Michael. I went through with getting the piercing anyway and I am so glad I did. Michael was so sweet and professional, he gave me a compliment about my hair, talked me through the entire piercing procedure, kept things just as clean as the first time I was pierced there, and made sure I was 100% happy and certain with the placement before piercing. After the piercing I was feeling light headed, I told him and within a second he was feeding me a sugar tab and turning the fan on. I am so thankful that he was able to handle that situation and he even made me feel better and laugh after, saying that it had happened before. Not only was my nostril piercing my most easily healing piercing, it was also the least painful to heal. I have been in to have my nose ring changed, and even for just a top change, things are kept as sanitary as they are for a piercing. I was even able to message Michael on Instagram and ask him if I could keep my nose ring in for an MRI, not only did he respond quickly, but he also informed me that they pierce with implant grade titanium, which is safe for an MRI! I am so thankful that they do that, because it was safe and convenient for an MRI that I did not know I would need. I absolutely love Studio VII, stop in and you will be greeted by amazing staff who will help you pick out dope jewelry (from a beautiful selection) and help you decide what to get pierced next. I will forever recommend getting pierced here to all of my friends and family!

Loved it here! Staff took their time looking at jewelry with me. They pointed to their favorite pieces and made suggestions. They asked questions that I hadnt thought about like they genuinely cared about what I was going for with my ear. Ive been back on several occasions and always feel welcome. They even ask you not to touch your jewelry so the place stays clean, its so sanitary. Been to so many shops that look like you might catch something. Dont waste your time or money anywhere else and up with a sub par piercing. This place is LEGIT.

Ive gone many many times to Studio Seven. Every time I go everyone is incredibly nice. They are very good at recognizing faces so after a little bit youre remembered every time. It is my go to place without a doubt. Okay actually its the only place I go. Everything is so clean and sterile its amazing. I have sensitive skin and the metals that are used by this shop have never caused issues with it!! I definitely recommend to everyone!!

I have had nothing but awesome experiences with the staff at studio 7. I have had a few piercings done by Mike Marinelli and he was super nice. I was very comfortable while being there each time. He is a clean, quick and professional piercer. I have also had a pretty large piece done by Robbie Kass and was definitely pleased with the outcome. Jersey and Johnnie both have excellent portfolios and I would recommend this shop to anyone!

Brought my girlfriend to here to get her navel pierced. She had wanted to do it for years, but only recently plucked up the courage to do so. Had heard some good reports about the place and she was told that Mike, the piercer and owner was really good. These reports were absolutely spot on! Place, first of all, was really really clean! I had a preconceived notion that piercing studios were grimy but I couldnt have been further wrong. Mike was extremely pleasant and courteous and helped my gf feel at ease, as she was quite nervous when we got there. He was very calm and relaxed, and kept talking to her while the piercing took place, so much so, that she didnt even realize it was done until he told her to look down! Great service, great staff, and obviously an owner who cares about what he does. She will be back and already has recommended Mike to some of her friends who were looking to get piercings.

I bought a gift card for my daughter to get her ear pierced for Christmas, explained to the associate what and who it was for.. shopped around picked out the jewelry then put the correct amount on the card. The day after Christmas I brought my daughter in to get her piercing and was informed she couldn’t get it because she didn’t have proper identification. Which was NEVER explained when I made the purchase. My daughter was so upset. I was told I could not have a refund. Even though they had pulled up my transaction I had all three of my receipts and the card I made the purchase with. Then I was told I would get a refund because of the misinformation when I made the purchase but had to wait for a code from the owner to do a refund but she was out of the country. I have yet to get my money back. So much for making their customers happy. I will not be returning or recommending this place to anyone. Beware!

I went the other day to get my navel pierced, and the staff is amazing. Very bright and welcoming shop, and the piercer was vey knowledgable and nice. They offer a wide range of jewelry as well. I would definitely recommend to anyone looking for a new piercing and I will be going again in the future!

I had my septum pierced by Roy yesterday. He used a 14 gauge needle and didnt even need to use a clamp. He was extremely nice and made the whole process a breeze. He was quick with the needle and getting my jewelry placed, and really gentle. 24 hours later and I dont even feel like I had my nose pierced. I would highly recommend him to anyone. Thanks again Roy for a great job!

Amazing piercer with 16 years of experience. Incredible jewelry and the girl there very nearly sold me on a new septum ring! Helped my boyfriend and I fix some jacked up piercings we received recently.

I got my nose pierced here in February and have had consistently good experiences since. I recently went to another piercing shop in town and the guy that changed my jewelry was rough and the jewelry itself caused a bump that refused to go away. I went back to Bobby at Studio 7 to have it changed and the bump is already almost gone just a couple days later after following his suggested aftercare. I will be using Studio 7 exclusively in the future for my piercing needs!

Do not buy jewelry from this place! And most especially do not trust the piercers to replace jewelry for you. I came here to buy an earring for my flat piercing in my ear (spent $50 total on one piece of jewelry) and had them replace it. I took their recommendation on the fact that I needed a shorter post, took their recommendation on the size, and used their piercer to replace the jewelry. The next morning I when I woke up the earring had fallen out. I was able to save it once by finding it and replacing it, but it then fell out again a couple hours later. When I came into the store that very same day (less than 24 hours after the first visit) I explained the situation and they would not give me a replacement. In fact they did not offer ANY discount or compensation for it despite the fact that it was the same staff and they recognized me form the day before. They took no responsibility for the fact that their staff were the ones who messed up. Will never shop here again.

I have been living in the Wilmington area for 3 years now and go to Studio 7 all the time! I just love that place! Every person who works there is so cute, helpful, spunky, and just straight up awesome! The service is great no matter what you need and the artists are impeccable! I have been tattooed by both Robbie Kass and Jersey Ferraro and plan to get my next piece by Johnnie Freeman. They are all so talented, personable, and also professional. The piercer Mike Marinelli has given me my last few piercings and it was a great experience all around. He is fast, efficient, clean, and a funny guy which always makes a nerve racking experience like getting poked with a needle easier! HA! I love that they have a gigantic selection of jewelery and that if I need the piercer can always help me put it in if I cant. Overall the entire staff, environment, and appearance of Studio & is exactly what you want when looking for a local shop to visit! I give it two thumbs up!!

A very professional but friendly atmosphere. I wanted my belly button pierced but the piercer told me my body would reject it if I did bc of my anatomy and the fact that i didnt have enough extra skin. He was more worried about my experience and results than my money. I also had planned to get my septum pierced in the future so i decided to get that done instead. Turns out, I was a perfect candidate. He was organized and everything was clean. He showed me a brand new needle and took it out of the package in front of me. It was quick and almost painless!! My septum is taking well to their high quality jewelry and i love it!!

I have gotten 7 piercings at Studio Seven all done by Michael Marinelli! Every single one of them have been perfect!! He helped me choose the perfect piece of jewelry for each piercing and each piercing has been quick and easy with no problems!! He also thoroughly explains the after care healing process! Don’t go here. Don’t spend your money here. The first sales lady just wanted a sale. Both my children got piercings and we spent over 300. The sales lady was not knowledgeable at all should have not been selling.We have had to go back for an issue and because of the horrible advice from the sales person we have had to rebuy jewelry and pay for it to be installed. I do not recommend this place! Will not ever do business with them and will be telling everyone not to go there.

I got my navel pierced about two months ago and had a great experience. The piercing was professionally done and Mike answer all questions I had. HOWEVER, I went back a few days ago to have my piercing looked at in case there were any issues with it. I went to see Mike, but I was greeted by a rude lady with short blue hair. I told her why I was there and she just said okay and had me show it to her. She barely looked at the piercing and overall had a bad attitude with me. I did not appreciate being treated that way when I had a concern. Overall, Mike is a wonderful piercer, but they really need to get some of their staffs people skills in check :(

Mr. Robert worked on my little girls (8 years old) first piercing and he was wonderful, patient, and talked her through the whole process. He answered all of her questions and gave her some pointers. I would absolutely go back to Mr. Robert again. The ladies at the front of the shop were excellent and helping her pick out the pair of earings she wanted.

Love love studio 7 i have 7 piercings and hes done every single one and they heal amazingly. Dude is amazing my mom regularly goes to get pierced too. Its clean and priced well and hes super cool.

Really great exsperience. Very friendly and informative. My only issue was that I drove over an hour and paid almost 200$ for my piercing. I was charged for each single peice of jewelry including the backs to the bars. I know the saying you pay for what you get. But 70$ just for standard jewelry is a bit of a rip off.

Girlfriend has gotten several piercings done here. Every time the piercing tech was professional and clean, and each piercing has come out exactly as expected, having none become infected. Definitely the best place for piercings of all types.

I had two cartilage piercings done and a nose hoop put in my existing piercing. The whole thing was almost $200 which was a lot of money for two piercings (which were some of the less expensive studs) and a nose hoop. I get it costs money to have sterile equipment, experienced piercers, etc. but it shocked me when I saw how much the cost was. I wanted a silver nose hoop and the one we agreed on was a very very dark silver color, unlike what I wanted. When I said it looked more black than silver I was assured it was just the lighting in the shop and that it would be more silver when I went in different lighting (it was very dark still when I went outside in the sun). Also the nose hoop was a much larger gauge than my nose was originally pierced with and hurt REAL bad when it was put in, not something I was warned about or told about before having it put in. Yes, I should have asked what the gauge was of the hoop but I asked what size I needed and trusted the expertise of the people in the shop.All this being said, the people who worked here were very nice and qualified for what they do, and Im sure my experience was one in very many perfectly fine experiences. The shop is super cool, they have unique jewelry for sale, and my cartilage piercings are doing fine now.

Had a wonderful selection of jewellery at a relatively cheap price. I got a double forward helix and the entire thing was about $150. The service was attentive but personable and Michael was perfectly professional and friendly.

As someone who has had many piercings and tattoos I can confirm this is one of the best experiences you can have at a shop. The place is immaculate and the people are so kind and patient. If you don’t go here for your piercing you are making the wrong decision.

Got my nose pierced for $80 and it fell out the same night, even got a specific piercing back to prevent this but still didnt help. Tried calling the following two days to see what the procedure is for something like this, whether they will repierce it or not, and got no answer or call back. Just disappointed because i initially liked my experience and thought I would be a regular.

After a ton of research, I found Dixie at Studio Seven. She worked and worked with me in preparation for my tattoo and came up with an awesome design. Then she even came in on her day off to work with me at a time I could be in Wilmington, NC. (I live in central Georgia). She took her time and walked me through the process.The tat came out so realistic that I even had a couple of people think a picture I took of it was an actual leaf that I had laid on my arm. Ive had awesome comments even from people that usually dont even like tattoos. Dixie is amazing and Ill absolutely use her again when I get another one, no matter how far I have to drive !!!

Spent $30 on a small flat back hoop and a cork screw opal nose stud both in rose gold. The price isn’t what bothers me as I’ve had many piercings in my life, I know you get what you pay for. The thing that bothered me is after I put in the nose stud, a week with it in, it started to turn my nose GREEN and I replaced it with my original jewelry I was pierced with since it was so swollen. When I took the jewelry out ALL of the rose gold coloring was gone. This is obviously cheap low quality jewelry as my rose gold hoop had no issues with loosing color, changing the color of my skin, or causing my piercing to swell. Luckily it wasn’t infected. Will never buy here again to be overcharged for junk I could have bought at hot topic or Spencer’s.

Best friend went to get her naval pierced. She didnt have enough extra skin so the guy didnt do it for risk of body rejection. He was more worried about her personal health than getting her money. She had a backup plan and wanted to get her septum pierced and he did it for her, everything was clean, organized, and everyone was helpful and kind. GREAT PLACE.

I went to the location in Independence Mall and received GREAT service from everyone I interacted with. They answered all my stupid questions and the piercing specialist, Roy, was very attentive and experienced. Ill request him individually next time. They couldnt have did any better.

The jewelry selection was really good and they had a lot of different options. Michael was really patient with me as I looked through all of the options. I settled on some super cute gold snakes and some opals!

Ive been here twice and both times Ive had a poor experience. The first time, the owner/piercer whatever his name is hit on me (literally commented on aspects of my body) and made me feel incredibly uncomfortable. Piercing went well but I did not enjoy my time there. I foolishly went back recently to buy some jewelry and was not being listened to by the same man who was hitting on me hard and he was very short with me the entire time while I was trying to understand what I was buying. I saw him and his coworker exchange wide-eyed annoyed glances which made me panic and buy something Im not sure I wanted. This place is awful. Im never going back. They have a great jewelry selection but thats all I have to say.

I went in today after a piercing I got done at Cape Fear got infected. After rude customer service from a tattoo artist at Cape Fear, I came to studio seven just to get some advice on how to treat my very red, very swollen ear. The piercer wasnt in, but the girl at the register took a look at it and told me exactly what I needed to do to properly treat it and to come back tomorrow. She was so nice and didnt make me feel like an idiot for having an infected piercing like the tattoo artist at cape fear did.

This place looks fancy but don’t let looks deceive you. Jewelry is overpriced junk and the staff wasn’t helpful. I took my gf in to get her lip pierced, this isn’t her first time getting a piercing btw, and the piercer didn’t seem like he knew what he was doing. He used WAY to big of a gauge and charged me an arm and a leg for it. The jewelry wasn’t even that expensive and it still came out to be about $100. I would not recommend this shop for their products or their piercing, you are way better off going downtown and getting it professionally done for half the price and better, friendlier staff.

Wasent to impressed when I was charged a $5 fee to install a $130.00 nose ring I purchased for my wifes birthday. We will not be back to purchase more after that incident. I being a business owner myself understand paying extra for products and services, but I couldnt see charging a customer a $5 fee to install a $130.00 nose ring they just bought from your business.

Don’t go here they say all their piercings are 30 but then they all the actual jewelry after the fact which is about 20 then they charge some other fee which came out to be 95; I work at a tattoo/piercing shop in Jacksonville and the piercing I got was way cheaper at my studio then this place. This place has nice jewelry for sale but I do not recommend getting pierced here

I had my tragus done over the summer and it ended up getting really infected and closing up. I went back last week with the jewelry he originally used to pierce my ear and he did a new piercing for free! The staff is super knowledgable and awesome to talk to whenever I go in there!

Over priced body jewelery. For the price they charge, maybe they could afford to pay some of the employees more and theyd finally get a better attitude. They tried to charge my girlfriend a fortune for a nose stud and when asked why it costs so much they replied its made of silver. Maybe that line would work on your average shopper, but I happen to know a little bit about spot price of silver and their mark up is astronomical.

I live in SC and am visitibg Wilmington for my spring break. I was in the mall with some friends and saw Studio7 and decided why not get another tattoo while on break. I went to get a tattoo of three chinese Characters on my ribs. The only artist there was an artist name James, I told him what I wanted and the size of what I wanted. He was giving me a really high price and I told him what I thought it was worth. He said that he would draw it up to show me the size, it took him 45 mins to draw the simple chinese characters. He came out and it was very small and looked amateur. The lines were pencil thin and wavy. He was still asking for a high price, so I told him I was sorry but that was too small for the price. I have six tattoos so I showed him one of my bigger tattoos which was cheaper than what he was asking for, for the three characters. He looked at it criticized and mocked my tattoo saying that a hack did it and that it was bad! He told me that to my face so i left! I dont recommend this artist to anyone, very rude and a very bad draw up!

I am so pleased with the services i have received from Studio Seven as soon as you walk in the door you are greeted with smiles and concern for what youre specifically looking for and the selection of individual pieces of jewelry is incredible, I personally have never seen such a wide selection before around Wilmington. I have gotten multiple piercings from Mike Marinelli and have been satisfied with each and every one, not to mention the sterile procedure is absolutely phenomenal and if youre looking for some character along with excellence and precision i highly recommend Studio Seven, even just looking at the portfolios of the tattoo artists itself would give you a glimpse and have you wanting a tattoo done the moment you look at the chairs, you can almost say Studio Seven is almost like an addiction because once you go in for one thing youre constantly going back for more!!!!

The people that work at the shop in the mall are poorly trained and unfriendly. All they seemed to care about is taking your money, and left a huge bubble in my daughters ear that has never healed properly, very disappointed will not be giving them anymore of my business or recommending to any one

My man an i went to north carolina for a weekend vacation an he talked me into getting my first tattoo ever we went to a place called j monkeys i believe an there we picked out what we wanted an they drew it up the one guy told me he had a three o clock if they were late then we would start mine if not we would do it afterwards well the appointment showed an all of a sudden he couldnt do them till next week keep in mind were from va an was going home afterwards so we went to studio 7 an was greeted right away ROBBIE drew up what we wanted an started with my mans tat next was me i was scared but really wanted it Robbie made me feel relaxed an answered any question i had i cant stop looking at mine an are planning the next trip to nc for another with robbie this time im getting an appointment firstthank you so much robbie i love my tattoo sooooo muchif your in thier town an want a tat stop by
