This by far was the best tattoo experience Ive had. I was on vacation and my sister and I decided to get a tattoo. The tattoo was awesome and because the first experience was so good, we decided to take a chance and select from their gumball machine of tattoos! The staff was so friendly and welcoming I cant wait till I can come back to visit!

Dope place and dope artist! Everyone was chill. Everyone does great work as well! AJ did my tat. He helped me comeup with a Ying and Yang Wolf face concept for my huskies that passed away. It came out great!

Today was my first experience at Jade monkey tattoo, and it definitely won’t be my last! I reached out via email to schedule an appointment, and got a response almost immediately. I was able to book an appointment with Katherine, who was recommended to me by some friends. She was so sweet, and very easy to talk to. She made my tattooing experience flyby. I love how my tattoo turned out, and I will definitely be coming back to her in the future!

This was my 2nd experience with Jade Monkey. My first experience, I brought my daughter to get her belly pierced. When we arrived there is a sign on the door that says call to let them know youve arrived. We called several times and the line was busy. The door was locked so we were forced to stand in the very hot heat until they finally came to the door. While we were waiting inside another customer came up and she had to sit outside on the bench in the extreme heat. She was still sitting there when we left. The guy that did the piercing was awesome. The guy with the prosthetic leg. My second experience, and will be the last. I brought my daughter to get her nose pierced. We called ahead and they said to come on in. We got there and again we had to call and the line was busy. We were literally standing right in front of the door. They could clearly see us. The phone was still busy so I knocked on the door. A very rude and on the border of aggression, man opened the door very quickly. He was rude and aggressive so I wasnt too pleasant myself. He wanted us to sit outside in the extreme heat on the beach in the direct sun. My daughter wanted to stay. We stayed long enough for me to teach my daughter on how customer service should be and this example of how it definitely shouldnt be. This place definitely doesnt think about its customers. Very bad customer service. I definitely would not recommend the establishment. There are too many tattoo and piercing businesses in Wilmington to have to deal with this terrible treatment of customers. When youre spending this much money you expect to be treated with respect. Do better!!!

Been going to jade monkey for piercings and tattoos since I moved to Wilmington 4 years ago. Worms the best! Hes super professional and everything was clean for all of my piercings. In total I think I’ve gotten 15 piercings from them. 10 stars

Once inside, we were greeted buy our artist, AJ, he had a huge smile on his face and was as sweet as pie, went over the emails that were exchanged before our appt, and within 15 mins we started on our tattoos. Love this place! Super clean shop, Maximus helped me out from start to finish and did a great job piercing my tragus. He was as gentle as someone could be when it comes to piercings and was really informative and willing to help with anything. Will def come here again in the future!

I was in town, when last minute I remembered that in my little village no one’s able to do small fine line work. I have dots above my middle, ring and pinky finger nails, that represents my family. Stupidity I latter added one on my left ring finger to represent my ex husband who was my best friend for 24 years (9 years married). Big mistake, huge mistake. I called the shop an hour before closing and they were able to get me in. Jimmy was awesome. To set up for something so small at the end of his day. Need I say more? He was able to completely disguise the dot! Making my entire year! Thanks Jimmy and everyone at Jade Monkey Tattoo!

I have had snake bites and my eyebrow pierced here. Both Maximus and Jon are extremely professional and have passion in their job. They use good quality jewelry for initial piercings and very hygienic. Maximus really took his time to mark my bottom lip and explained to me how your body anatomy has everything to do with lip piercings and marked the perfect spot for them. Jon took his time to explain to me how eyebrow piercings work and was very enthusiastic about it. I love a piercer that loves what they do, it makes the experience. I promised both of you guys Id be back to let you swap them out and cannot wait. I love my body art, thanks dudes 🤘

My six year old wanted to have her ears pierced and due to the great reputation of Jade Monkey for ear piercing, we went there. Even though its not like Claires or The Piercing Pagoda - where youd normally take kids, everyone is so professional and its very clean and much safer. Max was our piercer and he did everything he could to help us feel comfortable and relaxed. My daughter needed some time to feel up for it and he never rushed her or made us feel like we were wasting his time. He talked to her calmly and showed her anything she wanted to see and described what he would do if she asked. He was very respectful when she had quite a few false starts. Even though we only managed to get one ear done, he assured us it was okay and we could come back another time for the next ear. We came back the next day per her request, but she said she still was not ready once the time came. She still loved chatting with him and Max was still as patient as ever. Max at Jade Monkey will be our guy for any piercing needs for our house. Thanks Mr. Magic Max!

Leroy is my favorite. I just moved to Wilmington about nine months ago. I’ve gotten four of my tattoos from him and will be getting many more from him. He did two a few months ago and they turned out amazing and healed amazing. Today he did two more and as expected it was fantastic work. I can’t wait to get many more from Leroy. He is so kind about making sure I love what’s going to always be on my body and doesn’t make me feel bad about if I want him to change the placement, or the style, etc

We were able to get in with Leroy today for small tattoos. Leroy was very kind, professional, and did a fantastic job! Inside was clean and orderly, with lots of fun art!

This experience was great! We were on vacation for a week, but I had a tattoo on mind for a long long time and decided to try this place out. The staff was fantastic, from the receptionist to the man behind the tattoo (jimmy). He was very gentle on the skin and his machine was much quieter than traditional machines. The line work was great and the facility was super clean! Highly recommend.

If I could give 10 stars I would. Everything about my experience at Jade Monkey today was exceptional. I was able to get an appointment with AJ with a 2 day notice. He was highly recommended by a coworker and he lived up to everything I was told. He was so personable, explained the process as he went and put me at ease (only my 2nd tat), and the detail he puts into his work was excellent. From the time you are met at the front door you’ll notice the shop is so clean and sterile, not what I had experienced at another shop in town. I could go on and on but you get the message Thank you AJ and Jade Monkey for a great experience today!

Got my industrial and second lobe piercings done here today and it was the best experience I’ve had with a piercing! This was my first time at Jade Monkey and Jon was my piercer! It was very clean and needles were swapped out for each piercing. Jon did a great job in making me feel safe and comfortable. Got a little woozy after the industrial, but he was quick to get me a Pepsi and to make sure I had time to feel back to normal before we moved on to the lobes. I am very happy with the look of the piercings and he gave great aftercare instructions! Highly recommend going to Jon for any of your piercing needs.

Aj was professional and painless. My brain tumor survival tattoo w/butterfly wing is extraordinary. I absolutely love my new ink. Shop was clean and smelled so good and fresh. I will recommend and be visiting again soon.

Ive never written a review for Jade Monkey, but Ive been getting tattooed here for a while. Jimmy is a fantastic, kind and professional artist. I am extremely satisfied with all the tattoos he has given me. The snake and the shark are from their get what you get vending machine, Noel did the snake and Jimmy did the shark.

Noel is the best tattoo artist, and would never choose anyone else to take care of any tattoos that we get. Precise and careful.

Ive never stepped into a more friendly, clean establishment in my life. And I have very high standards for clean bathrooms and it was absolutely perfect. The entire staff and the artist were pleasant. Knowledgeable and did great work. Thank you so much for setting such a high bar. I dont think another shop in this town can compete. Definitely recommend and definitely will be back. If I could give 10 stars I would. Keep up the great work.

Excellent experience! I am from out of town, they fit me in quickly. Price was reasonable. Nick and Jimmy were professional, polite, efficient, and did beautiful work. They made us feel comfortable and welcome. The shop was clean, and you could tell that all the artists take pride in their work.

Ive been here before, but 20 years ago. Since then, they did a remodel & it looks amazing!! I was very impressed. Very neat & clean. The atmosphere was great. All the artists I got to see & talk with were awesome. Friendly & funny. Made us feel so comfortable. We were there to get my bday bestie tattoo. our artist, Leroy, drew up what we wanted & then started tattooing. He was very polite & and friendly, but more importantly, he was gentle, not heavy-handed. & his vibe kept us calm. Like I said, Id been here before & Ill be back again. Just wont let 20 years go by this time.

Jimmy did my first tattoo. Had it placed on the front of my calf.He did exactly what I wanted. Love it, and I get compliments on it all the time.

They were so kind. Max and John took care of my friend and me. Not sure if it’s a NC rule or what but only those being pierced could go in, so one of our friends had to wait in the car. :/$40 for nose piercings including jewelry. Great price. Sweet and comforting staff. Cash only. Will return when I’m back in Wilmington!

I got my first tattoo here by Leroy and it was a great experience. I was so nervous but he made me feel comfortable and was so gentle. The rest of the staff seems awesome as well. Everyone is very welcoming and the whole place just has good vibes. Definitely recommend. Just went back yesterday with my sisters.

Such a great experience. Worm did my nose piercing. He was very nice, explained thing well and did the piercing fast. It was very clean and the guy who helped up when we signed in and checked out very polite.

This place is a total ripoff. I asked for a small cross on my neck and not only was the placement incorrect, the line is crooked. How do you screw up a straight line??Moreover, my friend bought an eyebrow piercing and they gave him the bar but kept the balls (he wanted to keep his spikes)Just an absolutely ridiculous experience.

I’ve gotten the needle stab from Worm many times and it has always been a great experience, lasting and even piercings on my admittedly uneven features. Today I came in and got double eyebrows done by Jon - he is such a talented, kindhearted badass!!! Everything went seamlessly, from my desk experience with (Kat? I believe) to my face stab therapy with Jon. My piercings are gorgeously done and he made a painful experience really enjoyable. If you’re looking to get pierced, whether you end up with Worm or Jon, you’re in luck - they’re both incredible.

I absolutely love this place. The staff is super friendly and knowledgeable. I took my daughter to have her belly button pierced, she was super anxious but they were patient, talked her through it and made it a great experience. I had my nose pierced for the 3rd time following 2 botched piercings from other places. The placement was perfect, jewelry just right size, it healed so quickly, couldnt ask for better. I get a TON of compliments on it and always tell people where I got it done. I just took my other daughter to get her nose pierced and she had the same great experience.What I appreciate most about this place is how they manage clients and how CLEAN absolutely everything is. You cant just walk in. Dont need an appointment but you do have to call upon arrival, then they come out and get you when its your turn. No groups of people hanging around inside, no 10 people watching 1 person get a tattoo. Everyone must wear a mask. The cleanliness of this place is so impressive. Everything is spotless right down to the floors. They take great pride in keeping a sterile area for each client and take great care to clean and disinfect every surface, instrument and area between clients. No rushing and cutting corners to get the next person in.If I ever decide to get a tattoo there is absolutely no doubt this is where I would go. Any future piercings for me or my family will be done here. I couldnt have asked for a better experience!!!

I got my nose pierced today. jon(Im pretty sure that was his name) was so insanely sweet and made me feel very comfortable and not sceard. I was in and out so fast. the paper work took a little bit of time to fill out but thats bc Im under 18 so we had to do a lot. I definitely recommend coming here. there amazing

Jimmy Creep is great! He took great care of my mom for her first tattoo. Very gentle and very kind. His line work is on point! I give 4 stars because of the music.. not everyone loves screamo! It was extremely annoying to have to sit in there and listen to that for 3 hours.

Got my nose pierced (first piercing) and i was literally in and out in 5min. the receptionist was super cool and jon (the piercer) made it so quick and easy. 10/10 experience, i will definitely be going back!!

Horrible experience. Got a tattoo done here earlier this year and previous to the set appointment, I contacted one of the artists via Instagram DM. The artist stated that for the tattoo it would cost me $250. Remember that, $250. When I got to the shop at the appointed time for my appointment, an individual came outside to my car and told me that the person with me could not come in because of “covid-limitations.” Mind you this is 2023. There aren’t anymore social distancing regulations. So this was made up. I try not to use racial discrimination as a reason for people’s actions, however, my friend and myself were the only people of color that were going to go inside the tattoo shop. Therefore my friend had to wait in the car for nearly two hours. So then the artist I was going to tells me that he can’t complete my whole tattoo because he over-scheduled his appointments and that he could only do one part of my tattoo. I was furious. We had talked about getting the whole tattoo done over a month prior to the appointment. So then I asked what would be the price difference for just part of the tattoo. This joker tells me $200. So for the main part of the tattoo being excluded it’s only a $50 difference??? So, with it being my first tattoo and having some naivety with tattoo shops in the area, I proceeded with the appointment, since I was already at the shop and this was a birthday tattoo. Once the tattoo was complete, the artist then tells me the final cost is $230! From $250 to $200 to $230… where is the logic?? Somebody please tell me. Please. I paid my dues and was incredulously dissatisfied with my tattoo. The shading on the tattoo looked like a kid used a black crayon on a piece of paper in the dark. I WILL NEVER AND I MEAN NEVER GO TO THIS SHOP OR REFER IT TO ANYONE! Y’ALL NEED BETTER SERVICE AND BETTER TREATMENT OF CUSTOMERS THAT PUT MONEY IN YOUR POCKET! ALL THEY CARE ABOUT IS QUICK MONEY FROM PEOPLE!

I was pleasantly surprised when I walked in. It was so clean, bright and not intimidating at all. Everyone in there was so nice and welcoming.My artist was AJ and he totally understood what I was hoping to express through my tattoo. He met and exceeded my expectations. Will be returning.

I can not say enough good things about this place. I highly recommend Noel. He worked with me on a portrait of my cat I wanted done. She had just passed away and she was my 1st cat. Being my 1st black tattoo I was very nervous of the long term effects of the tattoo fading to a green shade or looking green to my eyes, so we chatted and worked out a shade that would work best for my skin tone and he was very patient. Everyone in this shop is very friendly and I just can not say enough good things!

Very quick and easy. Shop closes at 9pm and my friend and I called about 8:10pm very last minute and they were able to get us in without hesitation for two nose piercings. Piercing was very fast and facility was clean. Adorable aswell!! a highly recommended place I will definitely be back maybe for some tattoos in the future!!

I came in about a week ago to get replacement jewelry for my nose ring that had fallen out as well as to get assistance with removing the back off of an earring that had gotten stuck. He took the time to taper my nose piercing back open and replace the jewelry for me. The earring job was a little bit of a challenge, but he did an incredible job of getting it out gently for me! The person who greeted me at the door as well as the piercer were both friendly and welcoming, great walk in experience.

Took my daughter to get her nose pierced. They were fast and friendly. They keep the door locked idk why guess you supposed to call the number then they let you in kind of weird. Was satisfied would visit again.

Such a great experience getting my ears pierced. I got three piercings on my lobes and one on on my cartridge which I was nervous about. The man that did them (of course I spaced his name) was so kind and took his time making sure the piercings were even and on top of that it didn’t hurt as bad as I thought. Thank you 😊

Leroy has a gentle touch, kind soul and a sense of humor. He accommodated my friend and I with our walk in appointments. His art is clean and beautiful. He didnt even judge us for being stinky hahaha. Ill definitely be going back!

If you are looking for a professional and trustworthy tattoo business this is NOT the one for you! We had a scheduled appointment for 2 tattoos and were asked to push said appointment back 1 hour due to artist Jimmy having an “emergency.” Upon arrival for our now 1 hour late session we were informed that Jimmy was running late working on a tattoo. When we questioned how it was possible that he had an emergency and needed to delay our appointment but was doing someone else’s we were told by an actually honest employee that the owner of the shop had been the “emergency “ tattoo that needed to be done. AND jimmy was going to be at least another 30 minutes late for our appointment. We said no thanks to this poor business. Tattoo shops are a dime a dozen, we only chose this shop due to our schedule availability as I live out of town and needed a Sunday slot. We are happy yo take our paying business somewhere else like I have 9 times before.

Great experience! My friend and I both took a trip to get a variety of piercings. We called ahead to make sure it was okay to come in considering the climate of things; they did sanitize our hands and take our temperature before entering which I appreciate. The environment was very clean, the piercer was friendly but professional, and the pricings were more than fair. I would definitely recommend going here and plan to return in the future!

I called looking for a gold nose hoop, they told me to swing on by. I was in and out in under 10 minutes even though they were crazy busy. They switched it out for me for free. Everyone there was super friendly and helpful.

Had a fantastic experience with Jimmy a little while ago, he worked with a sketch I brought in and, honestly? Collab of the century. The tattoo is fully healed and looks just as good as it did when I walked out of the shop! My skin is very prone to scarring and Ive had a few tattoos that ended up raised or formed small keloids, but Jimmys skill has left my skin smooth and I couldnt be happier with the results.Just give everyone here your money.

I LOVE Jqde Monkey! This has been the only place Ive used since 2008 for piercings and tattoos! My kids now even use this place too. I have 2 appointments set up currently to go here in April and May. Highly recommend. Professional, gentle and caring staff. The piercer was VERY gentle with myself and (of age) kids when piercing us and answered all questions/concerns, gave full care instructions. ;) The tattoo artists are Professional and very good at what they do. I will always go to Jade Monkey 1st unless they cant fulfill what I want-which is unlikely. :)

My fiance and I love coming here. Everyone is here is so nice and relaxed and treats you like family. Every now and again we bring our daughter in and they dont mind one bit as long as she listens and stays where she needs to be. Ive gotten two tattoos, one from Noel and one from Jimmy, and they turned out amazing. Ive also gotten a few piercings as well that turned out great. Would definitely recommend this place to anyone looking for a tattoo or piercing!!

First time at Jade Monkey, had an amazing experience. Communication was great from the first phone call, all the way to leaving after the piercings. Very fast service, I was in and out in 5-10 minutes for a 2nd nose piercing and naval. Proper precautions and safety measures are taken before entering. Very affordable prices.

I got my navel piercing here and they were great! I got to choose my starter jewelry color, they were very communicative and SUPER clean. My piercer made me feel very welcome and everyone was nice, cash only but there’s an atm in the store!

I took my 14 year old daughter in to get her ears pierced after having to let them close up from her first experience 7 years ago at a mall store. Todd at Jade Monkey was phenomenal!!! The entire staff was friendly and laid back. They treated my daughter with kindness and respect. He let me look at the dots on her ears before he pierced them and they are perfect. I highly recommend this place for anyone who is looking for somewhere to get their daughters ears pierced. Sooooo much better than places that use the piercing guns!!

I asked for a tragus piercing on the ear and tree helix piercings. They were very careful with the process, were very patient, and were kind enough to give me extra recommendations when it came to treatment. I would definitely recommend coming here to anyone who is interested!

Ive been here on multiple occasions now, the first piercing I ever got from them was my nipples, they were perfect!! Todd was on point with it, and as gentle as someone could be stabbing you. Jimmy is an amazing artist! The building is very clean and enjoyable to look at while getting inked. My husband and I went together. The only hang up was that we scheduled an appointment & the indecisive woman before us took foreeevvveeerrrr! But that was not the fault of our artist or the Jade Monkey team. I got my cartilage pierced here, the studio is very clean and Todd was the one who did my piercing. I was nervous about the experience because this was the first piercing aside from my earlobes, and he comforted me and it was over very quickly. Didnt even hurt!Overall the process was very fast, the guys were friendly and helpful with all of my questions, and it was also the best deal in Wilmington. I would go there again!

We went last night for my daughters 13th birthday. She wanted a cartilage piercing. They were very welcoming, professional, clean, and very sweet to her. I will definitely be coming back to get work done for myself. She was so nervous and they talked her through the entire thing step by step, and she absolutely loves her piercing!

Didnt even make it inside, called and asked days before to do a walk in. Got there and door was locked with people standing outside in the cold. When someone came out I was told it would be a 15 minute wait. That turned into 30. Some of employees looked baked on the job. I went to Studio 7 instead. Listen to the other reviews.

I simmered for a while on whether I wanted to write this review, but I think it should be known. I paid $250 for a tattoo I dont ask for . Wanted two peonies, and I got two heads of cabbage basically.I went into Jade Monkey to set up an appointment for a tattoo that Ive been wanting for a while. The man at the counter was friendly. I spoke with him briefly and showed him the picture of what I wanted. He pointed my into the direction of the artists portfolios. I looked through them and told him the man at the counter who I liked. The artist had available slots, but the man at the counter told me another artist had more experience with floral tattoos (which is what I wanted). I reluctantly agreed, because his work was pretty good too.I sent the picture to the artists email, he confirms he received itDay of the appointment I get there 20 minutes early. End up waiting an additional 45 minutes after the scheduled time before sitting in the chair.The artist finishes my tattoo, it looks great! Im stoked because the line work is awesome.However once I look back at the referenced photo, it wasnt even close to what it was supposed to be.Only giving two stars, because even though the tattoo is nothing of what I wanted, its still very beautiful and the line work is great

I have gone here for all of my piercings over the past like 10 years. The previous piercer was Todd. He was so great I never went anywhere else! This last visit I saw Tim, the replacement Todd picked, and I was NOT disappointed! I think Tim actually did an even better job when he put the jewelry through, I didnt feel a thing and that has always been like the second pain in a piercing but not this time! My nose and both nipples were done in like 15 minutes and Tim did everything to make me comfortable and to make sure I loved what I got. I love love LOOOVE them!! Thanks Tim!

Was visiting a friend in Wilmington for her birthday, went here because of good reviews and wasnt dissapointed. We were two walk-ins with pretty simple designs and they were very friendly, fast and had the tattoos drawn up and finished in a little under two hours. Everyone was super nice. It was a little bit more expensive than where Im from but hey tattoo artists gotta eat. Thanks guys.

Went here today and got two piercings done, absolutely loved the whole experience! Everyone there was extremely kind and helpful and even though there were lots of customers they made us feel important and didn’t disregard our questions because it was busy. My tattoo came out fine but as a first timer for getting a tattoo I was intentionally ripped off. I was naïve and taken advantage when asked “how much do you think this should be”? For a medium tattoo with no more ink than a puddle my pinky finger can hold. Don’t get your first here. I regret it and it’s heart breaking when I’ve spent so much time and money getting my piercings here with people I thought I could trust.

Aaron at Jade Monkey pierced my septum over a year ago and it is by far my favorite piercing! I get compliments and questions about the pain level all the time, and I tell everyone the same thing: this was the best and most painless piercing Ive ever gotten (I have 10 face/body). He was helpful and explained exactly what was going on, it literally felt like nothing, and healed flawlessly. Obviously the ring in the picture is not the surgical steel U-ring used for the healing process, but I was able to switch out the original for this hugger ring within about 6 months. Would definitely recommend Aaron to any friend!

I went here yesterday for my birthday to get my cartilage pierced. Everyone there was SO sweet! Todd made sure the piercing was quick and relatively painless (this coming from someone with a huge fear of needles). I definitely recommend this place to anyone wanting any piercings!

I highly recommend this tattoo parlor !! i have been coming here for many years . Since my first day entering the parlor i felt comfortable . The staff was friendly and inviting . I had gone to other shops to look for the right artist since moving to Wilmington and didnt have the same warm feeling that i got when i walked in jade monkey . I chose Noel to be my artist because of his portfolio and his personality . I also checked out his work a few times in person before i got inked by him . I like noel because most of my work he has drawn on ,not stenciled . I wanted to get my 5 month old daughters ears pierced. I called and asked to see if there was a someone there that pierced babies. They guy that answered the phone says yes they do them but only one person does babies and that I I come in Tuesday or Wednesday. He asked how old she was and I told her she was 5 months. I told him I would be in Tuesday. I also asked if I needed an appointment to which he said no just call and we will let you know when its your turn. I drove to the shop and called and the same guy answered. He said they would call me back when they were ready for us. I take my daughter out of the car seat and wait. I get a call back to which he asks how old she is and I say 5 months. I am then informed that they wont do it because they dont do anyone younger then a year old! By this point Im extremely mad and ask who I talked to yesterday come to find out it was the same guy I was on the phone with. I specifically called beforehand and asked because Im aware some people do not like or want to pierce babies. I completely understand this but to tell me yes and I then drive 35 minutes to the shop to be told no is ridiculous! The excuse was he was new...okay so if you dont know ask someone in the shop dont tell someone yes!!!

Got my eyebrow pierced today and I Love it already and the artist was really professional, knowledgeable, and upfront honesty. If you go in there wanting a piercing or jewelry change and they know it’s not in your best interest they will turn you away and also explain kindly the reason XYZ...... They could easily do the Risky piercing and take the money and then blame the customer for a negative experience with healing etc.... 1000% recommend

However, Zach at Jade Monkey put all of that anxiety to rest. Jade Monkey has an extremely inviting atmosphere filled with courteous and professional staff. When I showed up, Zach had everything ready for me and we were done in no time. Even getting the tattoo seemed painless (located on the sternum) when compared to all of my previous experiences. Having been to other shops in Wilmington and even highly reputable ones in Orange County and San Diego County, CA, Jade Monkey is by far my best tattoo experience. Knew of jade monkey through my awesome piercing experience. My friend and I walked in hoping to plan out our tattoos. Noel took us right away after perfectly designing them; we absolutely love them. Best place in Wilmington for tattoos and piercings.

I went to get a nape piercing. Everyone was nice and friendly. However, after about 3 weeks and lots of research, I realize I was pierced with the wrong material. I went to another piercing studio for advice and they verified that:1. He had not pierced my nape at all. Piercing was not placed in the correct spot.2. The material/“jewelry” he used was not the correct type and the piercing would never heal with the type of material he pierced it with.3. I needed to take it out immediately.4. There will be scarring.5. I have to wait at least 3-4 weeks for it to heal before getting it re-done6. I’m going to have to spend more money because I basically just threw my money away at this place.I will never go back and I definitely will not recommend Jade Monkey to anyone ever.

Took our daughter in to get her ears pierced for the first time. She was excited and nervous. When she finally got into the room she became scared and decided against it. Todd and the others at Jade Monkey were very professional and completely understanding. They said we could come back any time and apply the deposit. We were grateful for their understanding and compassion for our daughter.

I only go for my piercings and I only let Todd or Chew pierce me. Todd has pierced me, my sister, and my niece and theyve all been amazing! I have customized ear piercings and will definitely come back to him soon for my future piercings. Trust me, the price is worth the professionalism, the cleanliness, and the knowledge Todd and Chew possess and the peace of mind knowing youre in great hands. Piercings and tattoos are not really items you want to bargain shop for anyway.

I would highly recommend this studio. Noel has been working on my biomech sleeve and I couldnt be more pleased with the experience. He is one of those artists that has not only an intuitive sense of exactly what a client wants in a design but the skill to carry it out better than the client could have imagined on their own. The whole staff in general are very friendly and make being there getting tattooed a fun and memorable experience.

Its a wonderful experience a must go. Atmosphere is filled with good vibes and has a killer staff. 2 years in a row I have came here with family there will be many more years to come.

Came here about a month ago with some friends, one was getting her nose pierced and other getting a small tattoo. The guys who did the tattoo were pretty nice and the tattoo came out great; however, the guy who did the piercing was absolutely horrible. I was not aware of the no video recording rule and as i pulled my phone out he made me put it on the counter away from me and then gave me a lecture about how recording a piercing was basically the same as teaching someone how to build a pipe bomb and for 3-4 minutes kept attacking me even after i apologized for the misunderstanding. After trying to strike up friendly convo about how i had my nose pierced there a few years ago he asked me to explain to my friend how to keep the piercing clean and i said i already had but then he said he wanted to hear me explain so as i began to do so he asked me if i was high and rolled his eyes (I was 110% sober the whole time). My friend, as this being her first piercing, was super uncomfortable and so was I. Very unprofessional and they should look into hiring a new piercing guy.

I have a bad habit of passing out whenever needles are around and worm handled it so well🤍 got me water and walked me out so i didn’t fall - the nose piercing itself looks so good and i’m really happy i got it

They took extreme precautions in the midst of COVID — opening doors for customers, immediately sanitizing hands, surfaces, door handles, pens, counters, etc, checking temperatures before you come in and requiring masks. Jimmy was able to fit me in on a last minute notice and went above and beyond for me. I already have my next tattoo in mind with full intentions of coming back to see Jimmy!! Highly recommend!

I was told 4 mos ago I would be called about something they were to order for a dermal piercing that I had gotten there and was having problems with. I called several times and stopped in TWICE ( I dont live close) each time they took my information, it is now almost February, it got infected which spread to my shoulder and had to be treated and the piercing had to be removed after much pain. Still No Call. Each time I spoke with them I was very patient, never ill about it.I see all the 5 ratings no reason to dis a customer or is it Im only one,The only other reason I can come up with ....well I wont even go there. Drs are not cheap even with insurance....... the customer service or lack there of is horrible!I received a call the evening this posted, funny how that worked out. I was told there was a problem with their distributor, this item was ordered >4 mos ago , did this distributor also prevent them from calling me and telling me as much? After knowing the the inconvenience all this caused for me, I could have at least been offered SOMETHING for my trouble !But then again after the way this was handled, how foolish of me to expect anything.I did get an Im sorry....but they had already proven that by their actions.

Pretty upset with my naval piercing. The piercing itself was too large and the top hole has opened bigger and sunken in. Went to another piercer for opinion on it since it wasnt healing like it did when I had it first done. Good to let the hole close and go somewhere else. Wont ever come here again.

I have gotten all of my piercings from here and everytime both piercers are super nice and help me with placement and things like that. They are also super honest when it comes to whether or not something should be pierced, instead of just piercing it even though it would look bad, grow out, etc

Everyone is super nice! The piercer is super nice and very professional! Overall a wonderful experience definitely will make the 3 hour drive to go back! They don’t take cards but there is a atm inside for cash! Their prices are very reasonable!!!

I’ve heard nothing but good things about this shop and the quality of the tattoos they produce and professionalism. Needless to say I was excited about getting a new tattoo but my experience with them was completely different I’ve been trying to get a quote on some tattoo options for the past week and a half. I’ve send pictures by email as instructed and was told someone will get back to me. Since this day I’ve been getting the run around, I’ve been calling almost every few day for my quote and have gotten the same response from several people “what’s ur name, number and email I will look u up and call you back with quote”. One man even promised to call me back in a few minutes still nothing. Their customer service is horrible at this point I’m looking for other shops to get my tattoos done.

I heard multiple horrer stories from friends who got their cartilage pierced and it still was causing trouble months afterwards (which didnt help convincing my parents lol). Ive had my cartilage pierced for two weeks now and it doesnt hurt at all. I catch myself laying on the side of my piercing and that doesnt hurt either. The shop is very clean and all of the employees are very nice. I highly recommend Jade Monkey if you are wanting a piercing or tattoo.

They done a Nordic compass on my hand and my wifes name on my ring finger, the dude that done my tattoo dry needled me not keeping ink on the needle, when I asked for weeks upon weeks to get my touch up done they said they would call me when they have an opening, its been months, never doing business here again.
