Mijos Tattoos & Piercing

I’m pretty sure the head mijo (the owner) did my tattoo a few months ago. He was a little rude at first but eventually he lightened up and got super chatty and fun. I’m 90% sure he was cooked or something when he was doing my tattoo but he’s still very cool ☺️It’s 1 month healed now and I will definitely need to get it fixed but I still liked the experience. Would recommend if you’re pretty lowkey about your tattoos, wouldn’t recommend if you want a more professional look to your tattoo or a more professional experience

Never go here the owner was rude the whole time I was in their and he didnt make feel welcomed..went to shake his hand and he just looked down at my hand and said see you later...guese he aint getting my money this place is unprofessional....if your going to get ink done go to vsop tattoo studio👍

The owner did my nose piercing and I loved how it turned out even tho, he didnt give me a count down it was still good the best experience

Went for a piercing. The moment I walked in through the door, the owner already seemed bothered. Barely wanted to answer basic questions. I understand he was busy with someone else but I literally took up less than 2 minutes of his time. Shortly after his daughter came in to the shop. She gladly helped me out and even then the owner was being rude towards me. However she was very polite and friendly. Pierced my ear quickly ,effortlessly, and professionally …So thank you, piercing looks great! 👍

So very sad because I wanted The tip of my tongue pierce so badly I waited For so long because i wanted it Perfect only for it to be super crooked. 💔💔 He noticed when he did it, but he said after swallowing went down that it would.Look good weeks later its still looks so very awful. Please do not do the Piercing if youre not sure of it.

Not much professionalism here, I recommend anyone that sees this go to valley tatts/ piercing staff is very professional & always polite.

I know every tatoo parlor is different, and Ive been to a few...but this place is by far the worst Ive ever been to. I was going to get some ink done, and was inquiring while my wife was getting a septum piercing.Im not sure of his name but some older man doing it was high out of his mind, didnt even get the placement right. He barely spoke to us at all.I know we are in a thc legal state but getting high while altering peoples bodies? Jesus. Never again. Stay away and tell your friends please this is not heigenic at all for a tattoo and piercing studio.

There are many shops to choose from. Some make a choice based on loyalty, others on convenience, others on referral, and the rest have their reasons for choosing. Im not going to tell you how or why you should choose, but I will tell you about my experience.A couple of years back, I chose Mario to peirce my eyebrow. Unfortunately, before it could heal, I had to remove it for medical reasons. His place was very clean. He took proper precautions. He was professional.About a month ago, I returned to have it peirced again. Mario still keeps his place clean. He is a professional. He is consistent, and this is why I would recommend Mario at Mijos Tattoos & Piercing.

The owner was there, he did a good job with our piercing & tattoos but he was not the most professional nor was he welcoming or polite.

The owner, never showed up for my appointment and I didnt hear from him until an hour after my appointment time. He even scheduled another tattoo at the same time as mine, I dont know how he was going to tattoo two of us at the same time. We even waited for him for 30 min past our appointment time.When contacting him in regards to a refund, I was nervous due to the reviews that state he doesnt give refunds. He even admitted to me that he doesnt give refunds but because he didnt make the appointment that he would but I had to wait because the money I gave him was all ready spent. He gave me half of my money back a week after not making the appointment and then told me to give him two more weeks so he could get the rest. I contacted him two weeks later and he said I wasnt going to be getting the rest of my money due to him paying bills. He said to contact him again in a week and I did and then he said he was out of town by this point i was getting frustrated because he would say one thing and then it would change and then change again. I tried saying anything to get my money back, I even told him he could keep the deposit as long as I could get the rest back, I figured if I just gave him some money I could get most of mine back. During our correspondence, he was going to be willing to give me the full $400 but then when it came time to collect the rest of my refund, he said I agreed to allowing him to keep the deposit when in actuality i didnt agree to anything, he just agreed to taking it for not doing a damn thing. He said he spent time on coming up with a design but when I asked to see it, he didnt have anything to show so, he got $50 for doing absolutely NOTHING. He didnt even thank me for giving him$50 for doing NOTHING.

The staff was very unprofessional. I went in and the two front desk workers were talking and didnt acknowledge my entrance. When I asked the prices for piercings, they didnt know and had to go to the back to ask. As I was waiting, a customer left with a fresh tattoo that was uncovered and left open to the air. I left at that point because I did not feel comfortable with the way things were handled, seemingly before OR after work was done.

I am very happy with my experience at Mijos Tattoos. I found the facility to be clean, & pricing was great. Robert was my artist. He was a pleasure to speak with and is light handed. My tattoo turned out exactly as I had hoped, & I couldnt be happier. Overall, I had a pleasant experience and will be a return customer :).

Went in to get my ears pierced the owner wasn’t very nice. He made me feel like I was bothering him. He told me one price then charged me double. I paid cause I’ve been wanting them pierced for a while now. He insisted I get hoops instead of studs, said they are better and cleaner; BIG MISTAKE! It’s been almost a month and my ears are still swollen and irritated. When he pierced my ears he was very rough and aggressive. Almost dropped the earring a couple of times. He took forever getting things set up and wasn’t very pleasant to be around. Since I’ve had to remove my earrings and I’m out $66 bucks. I wouldn’t recommend and I will never go back.

Big mistake. The place is very filthy. Not very professional. For some reason my tattoo artist got fired and I have to go with somebody else to finish it. I guess is for the better. Never come back to this place again.

Went and got my first tattoo dude was very heavy hand. Did not stay in the lines at all when I was done did not wrap it or anything. His shop is very dirty and I am surprise I did not get a infection. I have now found a tattoo artist who knows what he is doing and is affordable. I will never be going back to Mijos again

I’m writing this for my girlfriend because the piercing was her’s. We go into a vintage room with a motorcycle in the front and a beautiful assortments of skin illustrations that are copies of their workmanship. Fantastic artwork. My friend picks out the jewelry for her lip and then the artist asks where she’s wants the piercing. She shows him and he marks the spot and she verified it again.The master then pulls out the tools needed that are all in a sealed package. He then proceeded to do the piercing and putting on the jewelry in about 3 minutes. My friend is very pleased as it was not painful and the healing process was fully explained. He recommended a cleanser that we purchase and we pay and she gives the artists a top.This is a 5 star place for piercings. The shop is unique and their hygiene practices look flawless. A very good experience.

Amazing place me and my wife went for Friday the 13th and the tattoo artist was great does amazing lines and his work is wonderful I would recommend this place to anyone that wants a great tattoo for a great price

Ment to write this review a long time ago. My cousin, dad, mom and myself got a tattoo for my sisters medical condition. We ended up waiting 2 hours past our appointment time while they set up. We were all supposed to get our tattoo done by Mario but he pawned 3 of us off onto his son and this person was clearly a novice tattoo artist. And while Mario gave my mom a tattoo he kept stopping to give at least 5 people piercings and didnt change his gloves after and one of the piercings was a tongue piercing. So now his gloves are no longer sterile and is giving someone a tattoo and my moms tattoo ended up getting infected. His son the novice rushed my dads, cousins, and mine. My tattoo is the only one not infected out of all of us, because I took extra care of my tattoo because the art in the portfolio they had looked terrible and honestly let me know that this place was not the best tattoo place.

I called about pricing for 2 piercings on 11/13/2020. A. His child answered the phone. When I asked for pricing they asked their dad and he mumbled something and the child said I dont know. Why the f-ck is a child answering your phone. Im not going there and if youre smart you wouldnt either. Then I went back and read the reviews. I dodged a bullet!

He did an AMAZING job on my tattoo! My Papa passed in June and we had the services in July. My cousin and I went the day after his funeral to get his signature tattooed on us. When I showed my grandma my tattoo after, she burst into tears because she was so happy. She said it looks like he took a pen and wrote on you himself!

Just got a piercing done here and the guy did nothing but talk smack after it was done. he gave me a little wire looking thing for my septum and no clean care talk or kit or nothing. i knew the reviews were bad but really dont go here worst place to get stuff done. Mijos tattoos = might as well do it at home from a friend

Terrible service Friday the 13th, me and my girlfriend arrived at 7:35 and were left waiting while people who came after us got taken back, we waited for 3 HOURS!!!! We finally decided they didn’t deserve our service. We just wanted simple line tattoos, and everyone else who had an elaborate design got taken back first, I can truly say I am never visiting Mijos again

This place was amazing. Walked in the day before and gave the design idea. Got all 4 of us done in a little over an hour. Great memory for our girls trip!

Was promised a tattoo for both my boyfriend and i, by ERIC SEDILLO. Has been 2 months and he hasnt done anything. Keeps lying to us saying he will eventruly schedual us but keeps pushing it off!! We paid him up front and will not refund us even though we no longer want him to do our work. When we went to talk to the owner about it he told us it was not his problem. 😡😡

This place is cheap both in pricing and quality. I got pierced twice and tatted 3 times here. both piercings got infected (belly and tongue) and my tongue never healed quite right. my tattoos all look subpar at best. the first one i got was a yin and yang and my line work looks like it was done by an amateur, not someone who runs a tattoo shop. Marios colouring is spotty as well. My next two tattoos were done by someone else, its a stitch tattoo (lilo and stitch). Robert took two seconds to get the appointment to start the tattoo, but to get it finished (it was half done the first time because it took so long) it took 3 different tries and is currently infected in 5 different places. My other tattoo also done by robert is my leo symbol with a cat. It was something pulled up on google images. The tattoo was drawn out differently, and i wanted the leo symbol smaller than it is and he told me he couldnt go any smaller. Its about 2 months old and its so faded it looks like a 20+ year old tattoo. My mum has a tiger on her shoulder that actually is about 20 years old and its less faded than my leo is. I would not come here unless youre expecting cheap service and cheap quality. Also, on the day i finally was supposed to get my stitch finished, Robert didnt care enough to remember we had an appointment. they have a sign out front that says they opened at 1 pm that day and it took almost 2 hours to get into the shop. It doesnt seem like anyone really cares at this shop.

Artist was nice and very professional. Didnt dig on the tattoo. Nice fine crisp lines

I had my Medusa done here, 4th piercing I have had, and it isnt healing right, its infected and is misplaced. I have 3 other piercing from another piercing shop and they are just fine. Dont recommend going here😪

Mario the owner did my tattoo and it turned out great! The prices are affordable and you receive show quality work. The whole experience was great!!! I recommend mijos regularly....

Me an the girl went to get some piercings done with an appointment booked an they never came to the door or answered our calls while we were sitting in front of the shop. Pricing might be fair but this place is so unprofessional an needs new management period!

I got my chest piece done here by the owner Mario. It is done extremely well and the price was great as well! I would recommend you to give it a shot. I plan on getting more when the money comes.

Mr. Sedillo and his staff are amazing. They were clean, friendly, fast and super helpful....I went for a piercing and Im going to go back for a tat.

Everyone was curtious and very helpful. Opened a suggestion to my daughter of another option due to her chubbiness. He did it in such a way that she still embrace her body and went with the suggestion. Live this place. See yall agian! Soon!

The guy that pierced a friend of mine did not give any instructions on how to clean the area where she got her piercing and the person that we talked to gave my friend a price when she got to the back the guy change the price dont know what that was about but she paid him anyway the experience was ok over all ig but will not return js

Awful professionalism. Guy was over an hour late, then forget about our second session and wouldnt refund my money. The work he did do scarred me and still itches over a year later.

I called this place of business due to my Son got some work done it was nice work so I called for piercing for my Girl and there phone attitude was rude like I owed them something so becareful on the phone war,lol😀.

IF YOU WANT A QUALITY TATTOO THE FIRST TIME AROUND, DONT COME HERE. IVE GOTTEN 2 TATTOOS HERE AND BOTH TIMES IVE HAD TO COME BACK SO THEY COULD FIX THEIR MISTAKES. I WOULD NEVER RECOMMEND ANYBODY COMING HERE!
