Kayla is fabulous. She did my second and thirds and my conch last weekend! I feel very comfortable with her. She took her time and made her the placement would work with a hoop in the future. She really cares about everyone who comes through and I hope Rowan appreciates her as much as I do!Only suggestion I have is allowing cartilage piercings be pierced with 16g needle which is standard for cartilage. I may have to go elsewhere to get it stretched with a taper in the future once its healed as Im seeing most hoops I like are 16g. Its also better for healing!

My 5-year old had the best time! She was nervous but nurse Kayla was very kind and explained everything. Tons of great earrings choices, too!

We had an excellent experience with Kayla yesterday getting my 4 year old daughter’s ears pierced. She was calm and informative and explained things so she could understand. She also really took her time to make sure we were comfortable. My daughter is thrilled with how they turned out.

Tara at Rowan Arbor Hills was incredible helpful as we got my bestie’s 9 month daughter’s ears pierced. she assisted with the entire process and walked us through each step. highly recommend.

Took my 6 yr old for lobe piercings Kei and Kaneena were fabulous with her they made her feel like one of the girls and that meant a lot to her. They explained the entire process thoroughly, took time to like up her ears properly (shes got funky ears). Place was nice and clean. Definitely recommend for a mother and a daughter memory. My 7 yr old daughter obtained her first lobe piercing at this business location yesterday, and we were beyond happy with the results. The facility is super clean, and the staff are incredibly welcoming.The “patient” calls the shots, so if they don’t want to go through with it, or need a break, the nurse respects the requests. Our nurse, Leah, was kind and professional, and will return for the complimentary healing assessment in 21 days.By dinner time, my daughter’s ears weren’t even red anymore, and the solution they provide was simple to administer!

Super informative and explained the whole process before starting and as we were piercing. I had an original piercing hole close up so I wasn’t sure if I could relieve in the same location. I was in luck and so happy with the results!

I came here to do a permanent jewelry pop up and had such a wonderful experience. Casey totally set me up for success! She was accommodating and had shared details about our pop up in store to let guests know what was going on.I ended up getting my ears pierced by Kei. We did a device piercing for my lobe and needle piercing for my flat (cartilage). She took time to space everything perfectly which made me feel cared for after I mentioned my first and second holes (done elsewhere) are spaced differently.A lot of younger girls came in to get their ears pierced and you could tell they had some nerves or even cried beforehand. It was amazing seeing the nurses let each girl know that what they’re feeling was totally normal! They didn’t force or trick anyone into getting them pierced, rather they talked to them to make sure they were ready to brave this milestone.Highly recommend this studio!

What a wonderful experience from greeting to goodbye. The suite was very clean and neat. The selection was amazing! What I particularly liked the most was working with the nurse. She explained the process with me at length making me feel comfortable with the process. I would definitely recommend paying them a visit!

I did the needle piercings with flat backs in my lobes. If I ever decide on another piercing I know where to go! :)

This was my second visit to Rowan Arbor Hills & as with before, received excellent service! I actually no longer live in Michigan, but made sure to stop here before leaving. The ladies were patient while I picked out a set of studs to replace my second piercings & was fast & easy! Also decided to let my 17 yo son get a piercing in one ear & the lady assisting did a great job informing him along the way the next steps & he was very excited to see his shiny lightning bolt on his ear! Highly recommended this business.

Rowan is fabulous! The staff are great and always pleasant and helpful. My daughter had a great experience getting her ears pierced and the smaller earrings are all so adorable. I buy them too!

This place was great!! I came here with a friend while they got a piercing. I have a bunch and wanted to look at jewelry. Which they had a ton of options to pick from. The staff was very helpful answering questions I had. I got to try on jewelry which I thought was so nice to see if you like it. I ended up getting the gold double hoop with diamonds. I’ll be back soon, love the vibes and color scheme soooo cute 😊

I loved our experience there. Ladies who work there are all licensed nurses which made me more comfortable for the process, they handled my 8 month old daughter with so much care and patience and were so professional. Definitely recommend this place with their beautiful selection of earrings and aftercare instructions.

My older daughter (9yrs old) has had reaction to multiple earrings and studs and had taken her earrings off for a few days so her ear lobes could heal, but they just closed up. So, I was on the lookout for a new place to get her ears pierced again. I saw that Rowan has hypoallergenic jewelry and also 24K gold studs. Knowing that pure gold is inert, I decided to give Rowan a try. Had a great experience with very knowledgeable nurses, who gave very clear, precise & easy to follow instructions about caring for the newly pierced ear lobes.Fast forward to about 10 months later, we changed her earrings for a wedding and it wasnt good. I went back to Rowan mainly for the cleaning spray but walked away with a lot more knowledge and insight than I knew I needed. The nurses are very knowledgeable and explained to me about all the reasons drainage and crusting could happen, how to manage and prevent it and till what age this problem can happen in growing kids. This kind of insight comes from an inquisitive and problem solving mind with experience to back it up. They were not trying to sell me anything I didnt need and I knew they gave genuine and very helpful advice, which I am very thankful for. I would highly recommend Rowan Arbor Hills.

I got my 13y old daughter’s ears pierced at the end of December at the Ann Arbor location. I noticed that all the earrings fastened in the front, which I thought looked like they would pop off easily. The staff assured me that does not happen. Furthermore, one front of the earring popped off two weeks later in January. Luckily we were able to find the front of the earring and they helped us put it back on because it’s not easy the way you have to bend the wire back into the post. Now, we are at the beginning of April, and the front of her earring popped off again but this time we cannot find it. I called the store to try to purchase a replacement single earring, but recently they no longer sell singles. The staff member said I would have to purchase a full new set. Honestly, I feel like they should still be under warranty, because clearly it’s a defect in the way the earring attaches. She’s only had them for about 3 months and it cost over $500 to get them pierced with the set of earrings. I think they should have sturdier earrings with better fastens if they’re charging that much. Very disappointing!

Found Rowan on Google looking for a seasoned ear piercing facility and love that nurses do the piercing 👈 I got a second piercing in my upper lobe today by dear Kei in Ann Arbor. She was very helpful and led me every step of the way 🩷 I had the needle piercing and went with the flat back post. Kei made it so easy and I am happy to say “I did it” ‼️🤩‼️

We brought our daughter here to get her first ear piercings yesterday. The facility is very clean, open and super cute!! The nurses and staff were very nice, supportive and helpful. My 11y/o was nervous about her piercings and they took their time and helped her through it. We will definitely be back for my older daughter and maybe even myself in the future!

It was very easy to make an appointment. When I called the first time I got a complete rundown of how they do things. The studio was very inviting and clean and everyone who pierces there is a registered nurse which totally eased our minds. The jewelry to choose from was all hypoallergenic and super cute. They were so informative about the process there and for aftercare at home. They were able to pierce both my daughter’s ears at the same time and she was super comfortable. She also felt super special with her bravery certificate and goody bag! Would absolutely recommend!

Rowan Ann Arbor was bright and welcoming. The ladies were super attentive, interactive, reassuring, and helped put our 5 year old at ease. They do recommend and appointment but we were able to walk in and be out within 30 minutes. They helped her pick a beautiful set of earrings to pretend are “snowflakes” to match her Elsa gown. They gave her a certificate for bravery and a shimmery little care bag. Kayla, RN was so patient and kind. Although I have ear piercings, there is a RN helpline when the shop is closed. I highly recommend Rowan.

Came in without an appointment for my sister and I. They were all so helpful and informative. Beautiful pieces of jewelry. My sister got 4 piercings and I got one. We were in and out in under 45 minutes. I also love the ability of a 24 hour helpline and the fact that the piercers are licensed nurses. I will definitely be returning for all future piercings to come.

Just spend the money and the time and go to a place like Gamma. I got my second lobe piercing here becuase it was convenient and walk in. I regret every bit of it. The only pro is the convenience. I knew it would be trouble when the nurse told me to twist my new earrings every few hours. Thats a big no-no, and its even stated in the after care booklet they give you. They dont put the earrings in with enough room for your ears to swell (natural), so that created problems and I had to go to Gamma to get bigger posts. The piercing is also not straight at all, and Im realizing now that the swelling has decreased, how uneven they are. I wouldnt waste my time going here and I regret that I did for all the problems it is causing.

Cannot recommend Rowan enough if you are looking to get a piercing! We had nurse Kayla for both my 4 year old (3 at the time when she got her ears pierced) and 2 year old and she is INCREDIBLE! She took her time really making sure the piercing markings would be lined up properly and made the process seamless! She was absolutely fantastic with the kids… cannot rave enough about her or the service!!

I recently came to this location to get one of my ears re-pierced because it had gotten infected and had closed almost a year ago. Terrah helped me out and despite the immense scar tissue, was able to carefully use a needle to help remove some of it and re-pierce it! She was patient and used her knowledge as a nurse to evaluate how best to take care of the piercing going forward to avoid an infection/irritation. I had been nervous to come back and get pierced for a while and she eliminated all of that for me. I highly recommend Rowan Ann Arbor for anyone who wants a high quality experience.

I had a very bad piercing done at a different piercing studio that needed to get taken out. The nurses took very good care of me at Rowan, making sure that I wasn’t in too much pain during the removal. I got a piercing done at this facility before, and it had healed up very nicely.

Perfectly nice staff, clean and efficient. My son’s first piercing experience was good. However, not once was it explained to us that the earring price was for EACH earring. We were blindsided. I am on a very fixed income and the extra $59 was a surprise I didn’t need. I even called the day before to estimate the amount of money I’d need…It ended up being $242 (with tip) ! I was expecting about $150.

Best piercing experience I’ve ever had!! Not only are the studio and the earring selection so cute, the staff is also so nice and helpful!! I got one piercing and wish I would’ve got more! It’s a day later and my piercing isn’t swollen or even in pain. I’ve never had a piercing not hurt before, so amazing!! Also as a nurse myself i have learned we’ve gotta support each other! Will definitely be back ❤️

Came in with my sister for a second piercing. Kayla did my piercing and totally helped me as I wanted to fix my slanted first piercing. Left with three piercings that look legit. She was so professional, sweet, and enthusiastic. Loved her energy and knowledge and I will def be back for my conch. So sweet how she even gave us so much love for being teachers. Totally great experience!

This place was amazing!!! I took my daughter on her 2nd birthday to get her ears pierced and they truly made it a wonderful and exciting experience!!! The place was clean and so adorable… The staff was awesome especially Sarah and Lisa!!! I would highly recommend this for ear piercing whether it be a mother/daughter special moment together, a best gal hang session or just your regular choice to get more bling for your ears!!! There selection for earrings was great as well!!!

Super nice staff of nurses! I was greeted as I walked through the door. Kayla was my nurse for my piercing, and she was so sweet and professional! She took her time to line the dots up for both ears!! Kayla explained aftercare instructions and told to comeback and she would change the starters out for me. If you want a clean professional place to get your ears pierced, Rowan is your place!

I have very sensitive ears, I’ve had them re-pierced three times in the same spot of my ear. At the mall, at a Clair’s, and even a plastic surgeon because my earring ripped straight through. I’ve wanted to get my second lobe piercing since forever. I went to Rowan not really knowing how it would go. They offer both the piercing gun and a needle. They have hypoallergenic earrings for people like me who have sensitive ears and skin. Miss Lesa pierced my ears today. She’s amazing!! She walked me through all the steps and what she was doing. I was offered numbing cream as well (I’m a bit of a sissy lol). Very clean area, I loved the vibe in there as well. Everybody who works there is a nurse so you know that they know what they’re doing. She absolutely made my day today. Thank you Lesa!!!

I needed my Tragus piercing taken out and a longer post put in. The girls were so patient and wonderful. It was very, very painful, due to a different shop putting the wrong size jewelry in, but Lisa was awesome. She took her time and made sure that I was as comfortable as possible. Definitely recommend!
