Drawing Board Tattoo

Ive been wanting to have a tattoo done at Drawing Board for quite some time, and Im so glad I finally did! Camille did an AMAZING job creating a design that is especially meaningful to me and has an impressive level of detail. The tattoo also healed very well, likely better than most of those Ive had in the past (left image is freshly inked, right image is after almost 1 month). I highly recommend Drawing Board and Camille, and will most certainly have more tattoos done at this studio and by Camille!

This is my third tattoo from Karen at the Drawing Board and I could not be happier with her latest creation. Karen is incredible to work with. Before my appointment we went back and forth sharing ideas, and her suggestions/recommendations led to an amazing, unique and very personal result. And Karen is super-chill, good to chat with, and puts you at ease during the experience. I recommended Karen to my wife, and she now also has a Karen tattoo that she loves, and like me, will definitely collaborate with Karen again.

I absolutely love my tattoo!! Camille was amazing to work with. I gave her a lot of seemingly random ideas and she incorporated them all beautifully. She also did a great job of helping me pick colors that would work for my skin tone and with placement. She was super chill and accommodating. The shop was cute, clean and welcoming. Next time Im in Ashville, I will go back to see Camille at Drawing Board Tattoo.

Got my first large piece with Camille. To say she did an excellent job is an understatement. She provided me with an amazing sketch, listened to my input about colors and style, and advised me on the best placement for my arm. My tattoo turned out even more beautiful than I expected.I should also mention that I was a nervous wreck about getting a tattoo. Camille made me feel calm and comfortable within minutes! Caroline was amazing! So comforting, great designs, and very accommodating. I would get all my tattoos by her if I could. The line work is great and the shading was super easy. She also checks in all the time. I had no issues or doubt.

My sister and I sought a female owned shop to get tattoos while visiting Asheville for a girls trip. Camille was willing to come in on a day the shop was not open as we were only in town two days. Camille had fast, responsive communication. She used reference photos and put her own spin on the tattoo. She was professional and the shop was welcoming and clean. We are so happy with the final tattoo and would highly recommend Camille at Drawing Board!

This was my first tattoo, and no words will express just how wonderful, fun, and comforting my experience was. Caroline was super supportive, anticipating questions before I could even ask and checking on me every minute of the process! I am DELIGHTED with design and how patient and thorough she was in helping make it perfect.

Karen (Bronzino Ink) is probably gonna get sick of me because I just keep wanting to go back for more tattoos! Drawing Board has a super laid-back atmosphere while still remaining professional. Karen did a very detailed forearm tattoo as well as an amazing cover up for me and I was blown away with each. Cant wait to work with her again.

Caroline has done my last two tattoos and they have come out so beautiful with perfect line work! She is so incredibly prepared and professional and is willing to work with you the entire way from sizing/placement/shading etc. I am obsessed and have found my new favorite artist in AVL!!

Got my tattoo done by Karen and she was locked in! As much as I’d love to brag about how well I sat, this tattoo tickled like hell! But she made sure to check in on me and still did a great job. I get so many compliments on the work and giggles about my little frog friend. Thank you :)

I have 11 tattoos and this was my favorite experience yet. I have a nervous system disorder and it’s not easy to love tattoos but Caroline made me feel SOOOO safe and cared for. It also didn’t hurt at all and I’m not sure how she did that. If you want a good experience and a beautiful tattoo from an artist that performs to perfection, ask for Caroline.

Walked in and Kristina was so kind and awesome! They listened to my ideas, drew up a bee quick and tattooed me! They did an amazing job, very knowledgeable. Over all, awesome experience!!

I cannot say enough good things about Caroline. I was a little nervous about having my feet tattooed, but she was gentle, Knowledgeable and made me feel super comfortable. Also, her work is so Creative and AMA-ZING!! I already have my next appointment scheduled with her. ☀️

They fit myself and two friends in super quickly for walk in tattoos, and the work was beautiful! Shop was super clean and cozy. It was a little tucked away, easiest to access on Greenbriar behind the Aldi.

I just had my 4th tattoo done with Caroline, and I can’t recommend her enough! She creates such a safe space for her clients, she is so intentional, and her work is incredible. She is such a sweet person to work with; I always have the best time at my appointments! (I drive 4 hours total just to go see her - she’s so worth it!!)

I got my tattoo done yesterday by Caroline and she was literally the best. The minute I walked in I felt safe and could trust her with my tattoo! I was so thankful that she got me in on short notice but it was all worth it. She made sure the stencil was perfect and made sure I was very comfortable during the process. She checked up on me and made sure I was ok. She was super sweet and even gave me a little goodie bag after! I would highly recommend getting a tattoo done by her!

My twin and I got tattoos for our birthday by the lovely Caroline! It was my first tattoo and my sister’s second and we both made the perfect decision having Caroline do it. First off let me say, as healthcare workers.. her work area was spotless! Cleaner than an operating room which appealed to us. We also felt very safe and well cared for. She was patient with me, never let us feel rushed and also did a fantastic job! We can’t stop staring at her work on our arms and we get compliments daily. Before it was over, I was already thinking of my second tattoo that I wanted and will be making a future appointment with her. She is the sweetest and SOOOO Creative and responsive. Thank you so much again Caroline!!! Oh, her pricing is also very fair!!!

I got my tattoo by Caroline! They made my process so lovely. It was my first tattoo and I expressed my anxiety for it. Caroline was so comforting throughout the entire process. Doing a test line first to make sure I felt okay, asking if I would rather talk or not talk, offering water, etc. I recommend them 100%.

Camille has done several tattoos for me over the course of a few years. She is always quick to respond, and professional. She has can tattoo any style, including black and color!!!

Had a wonderful experience with Caroline!! She designed the most beautiful fern tattoo for me shoulder and we took two sessions to complete it safely and efficiently. I get so many compliments and it just makes me smile every time I see it. Don’t have any decent healed pics but it has healed beautifully! Great spooky space and comfy setting. 15/10 recommend!!

My mom and I got matching mother daughter tattoos yesterday by Caroline. She was so sweet, gentle and really knowledgeable. Her studio decor was awesome and the experience was great from start to finish- happy to say I think I found my Asheville tattoo artist!

I discovered Drawing Board Tattoo from a very extensive Google and Instagram search because I was planning a trip to Asheville to celebrate my birthday and I knew I wanted to get a tattoo while I was in town, I stumbled upon Camilles work and was obsessed with what I found. I immediately reached out to her and sent her my vision of what I wanted and she was not only able to take everything I sent her and bring it to life she exceeded my expectations! I am still so in awe of the beautiful work of art she gave me and it has easily become my favorite tattoo. I will absolutely be visiting Drawing Board again and having Camille tattoo me again when I am in town next. I couldnt recommend her enough! Not to mention her studio is so cute! Thank you again Camille for being so professional and seeing my vision and bringing it to life for me!

I highly recommend drawing board west but specifically Camille. I went to get my very first tattoo and was super nervous going in. I was walked through everything from start to finish. She made me feel welcomed and comfortable through it all and was very patient with me. She did a absolutely phenomenal job of my fallout themed tattoo and I could not be more happy with her work. I will definitely come back if I ever want more tattoos.

This shop is 10/10 but Camille turns it up to 11! Her communication and dedication to helping me achieve my tattoo aesthetic is phenomenal. I always learn something new about the craft and am more than satisfied with the 6 tattoos I have from her! 💫

When coming into Drawing Board, I met with Gabby to get my first tattoo. She made getting my first tattoo such an enjoyable experience. She worked with me to get the perfect spot on my arm, making sure it was exactly where I wanted it. She was very calm and made easy conversation so that I didn’t have to focus on the anxiety of getting my first tattoo. I had the greatest experience with Taylor, who did my very first tattoo! I wanted three birth month flowers in black and white with light amounts of shading and she absolutely nailed it. The lines are so crisp and pretty, the shading is so soft and feminine, and everything is shaped and placed in a way that just fits. It was really everything I hoped for and more. Taylor was also very kind and chill, and I felt very informed and included every step of the way. As a shy person, I was extremely anxious about going in but everyone that I encountered was super friendly and there was no pressure. The studio was actually pretty calm and quiet in the best way. I can’t wait to come back for more. :) *Picture is day-of and fresh with the second skin bandage on, and honestly doesnt do it the justice it deserves.

I had an amazing experience getting tattooed by Thorn at Drawing Board! The environment was super welcoming and I felt relaxed and confident going into the studio for the first time. I had a tattoo with Taylor in March and it was the single best tattoo experience to date. The tattoo is absolutely gorgeous, the entire shop is bright and welcoming, everyone there was so chill and friendly... it was a super comfortable vibe. I drove 3 hours to see her and it was totally worth it. Cant wait to go back!

Mai was so professional so friendly so sweet. I was late to appt my fault, she waited got there and decided to put her designed artwork on different arm. The tattoo looks absolutely beautiful so detailed so amazingly beautiful. I plan on returning for another one of her designs for me❤️

My husband and I were In town for vacation and decided to spend some time getting tattoos. We have gabby our tattoo ideas ahead of time and when we arrived she gave us a few different design options and sizes to choose from. I had a wonderful time with the tattoo artist Taylor! She was very accommodating and gave me many options for sizing and style! She did a wonderful job making me feel comfortable and I am thrilled with the final result!

My girlfriends and I were visiting Asheville for the weekend and decided on a whim to get small tattoos together. We called several shops in West Asheville and every single one, all four, were incredibly rude when answering the phone. It was a breath of fresh air to connect with the team at Drawing Board. The kind and courteous customer service, professionalism, and talent of the team was unlike most experiences I’ve had being tattooed. Holly did an amazing job on all of our custom tattoos and was so fun to work with. I can’t recommend this shop highly enough for anyone at all but especially for those of us who have felt either uncomfortable or unwelcome in other shops due to safety related to our identities. We are so happy we found Drawing Board!

The tattoo shop is located in a beautiful old house with parking in the rear. Its bright and airy with a zen vibe. Wyntre will be my go-to artist from now on. She takes pride in her work and truly listens to bring your idea to life ! I am so glad I have found someone who actually cares about me as a person and values my time. I cant wait to show off her work !

Lee was brilliant in their work and so kind. This space is so beautiful and chill, which is a nice change of pace from some tattoo shops. All the staff are talented and following their work on Instagram helped me get a sense of their work. I would highly recommend these lovely folks to others!

Wyntre and the rest of the girls are amazing. The atmosphere and everything is just perfection. Wyntre is the only artist I will ever trust with my tattoos.
