I had an awesome tattoo experience here! Lila was incredibly attentive, especially when I felt a bit uncomfortable. The tattoo turned out beautiful, and I really appreciated the thoughtful touches like cold drinks and snacks to help me through the session. Highly recommend!

Theres a big difference between a tattooer and one that is also an artist. Lila has that magic combination of intuition and skill that you cant really put into words - shes a true artist. All of her pieces are meticulously detailed down to the most minute element. Just look at the portfolio...Shes super professional and honest - if something wont look good, shell tell you. And then shell tell you what will work instead. Who wouldnt want that kind of honestly in a person? Shes patient yet fast, fun to talk to, and her shop is like stepping into a natural history museum of curiosities. Totally great vibe and completely worth the trip if you live far away. It wouldnt occur to me to go anywhere else. People stop me to ask about my beautiful artwork and I always say LILA AT ROCK CITY IN BARRE, VT! Im so lucky to have found you and cant wait to come back!!

Lila of Rock City Tattoo is professional, honest, and above all extremely talented. Her private studio is a must see itself, filled with antiques, oddities, artwork and beyond. She practices the upmost cleanliness and I can say that that my multiple tattoos done by her have healed perfectly without any complications. She pays attention not only to the tattoo itself but size and correct placement for your body. She did a remarkable portrait of my dog that I get compliments on daily, I honestly cant recommend her enough!-repeat costumer

I have been going to Lila to get tattooed for years. The quality surpasses anyone in Vermont. She knows exactly what she’s doing, shop is spotless (and cool), conversation is easy with her and she is very professional. I can’t recommend Lila enough for a tattoo.

I enjoy my tattoo, it looks good, but I chose this artist who was an hour away from me because of her previous work on her website that was beautiful, especially of flowers, and so when i went for my tattoo and she just went on Pinterest and pulled a photo of a flower, printed it and barely changed it I was pretty bummed. I have since had it added to to be more original. She also commented on the artist of one of my other tattoos and how they did bad work, and how she disliked them. Pretty unprofessional and would seriously not recommend.
