Mr Tattoos & Piercing

We went to Mr. Tattoos after I had emailed him several times. He quoted me and said that he would let his staff know that we were coming. This was for my sons 21st birthday. When we got there they were not friendly and kept telling us to make an appointment after we told them 3 times that we were from 5 hours away and I had to tell them that I had been emailing the (Im assuming) owner. They overcharged for a very small tattoo that I could have gotten any place else for way cheaper. I asked if I could get a tattoo as well since there were 3 people there doing what seemed to be nothing. The lady told me she didnt have time as she was drawing up a tattoo for someone who was coming in next week. Okay?! There was another man who didnt even make eye contact with us and just left. She told me to come back another day. My son did end up getting a tat but it was in no way original like my son asked of the artist and the artist did not communicate or conversate with him. As soon as they were done with my son they closed and this was only around 6ish and their shop wasnt supposed to close until 8. I dont like to leave bad reviews but I was able to go just a few blocks away where they seemed to like their job actually want money were very friendly and accommodating and I was able to work with them on pricing and get a beautiful piece done which was a memorial to my grandmother. I would never recommend Mr. Tattoos to anyone as I should have never been treated like I was an inconvenience.

I got my second tattoo done by Gaige yesterday. Just like the first one he did, it was a masterpiece. Gaige is super professional, super talented, and really takes pride in his work. For a young guy his maturity and understanding of running a business is well beyond his years. If I decide to get a third tattoo I wouldnt hesitate to go back to Gaige and I will reccomend anyone looking to get a tattoo to Mr Tattoo. Thanks again Gaige!Rob Morris

Today, I went to get a nose piercing. My experience was fantastic Vinny was awesome. Vinny was extremely professional, he made me feel comfortable throughout this process. If you are looking for a place for piercing. Go to Mr. Tattoo and ask for Vinny. You wont regret it at all.

Vinny and Agnes were absolute sweethearts! It was my first Tattoo and Agnes was very kind the whole time, talked me through the process and made sure I was comfortable! Vinny had done a septum and omg he was constantly checking up on me making sure I was okay, talked me through the whole process and made sure I was good the whole time. I absolutely loved my experience here and will be coming back.

Ali did a fantastic job on my tattoo! Its hard to believe hes an apprentice with less than a year under his belt, the entire piece is straight and clean. The shop was clean and modern, and I felt very comfortable spending 4 hours there getting worked on. All of the staff were nice and conversational, and there were music and movies in the background to help pass the time. Ill be going to Mr. Tattoo for any tattoos or piercings from now on, and recommending them to anyone who asks.

Just got my nose pierced by Vinny and it was a great overall experience. He was very thorough and made me very comfortable!

Vinny gave me a belly button piercing today, and it was great. he educated me on all things piercing and tattoo, i gained so much knowledge from him. he knew what he was doing and made sure everything was perfect. he walked me through everything i needed to know and had great conversation with me. i was there for like an hour, one of the best hours ive had in a while tbh! definitely will be back to see him! thank you again vinny!

I had a really nice experience, Im 16, so I was a little nervous but Blake was really understanding. The people in there were really nice. It was an overall, clean kind and wonderful experience. So if youre looking for place to get your nose pierced I 100 percent recommend this place. And ask for Blake because hes wonderful.

I had Vinny to get my flat pierced. He explained everything perfectly and he made me feel very comfortable in my choices. He talked with me through everything first and was just hilarious. 10/10 would recommend mr. tattoo and Vinny as your piercer.

I had a lousy tattoo that I got probably 20 years ago not from Mr. Tattoo! I needed it covered up! I had something in mind but needed some help with designing it. I got in touch with Jason Duff at Mr. Tattoo. We met discussed the tattoo my ideas and asked him for a little help with added things to it. To say he knocked it out of the park is an understatement! The piece turned out better than I thought it ever would have! It was a process to get done but going to a very clean and neatly organized shop each and every time on top of the finished product, made it well worth it! Looking forward to continuing this half sleeve to a full sleeve! DO NOT HESITATE to book with Jason Duff at Mr. Tattoo!

Blake was the best! Took my daughter to get her nose pierced and I was probably annoying with how many questions I asked but Blake was nothing but kind and didn’t rush us at all! Great piercing and great customer service. The shop was also very clean and organized! Great experience all around!

I had vinny for my septum and I 100% recommend him. He explained the process before the piercing was done then the aftercare after it was complete. Gave me a paper with all the information about my piercing and how to take care of it. Definitely coming back.

I have put off giving this review for some time now…but as times goes on I can’t help but voice it. November 4th, I made a last minute decision to call this shop and ask for a tattoo of a quote from a song, that my mom has pinned in my brain since I was a young girl, and wanted it in her handwriting. Gaige showed no hesitation, and took my request right away. This will have been only my second tattoo that I have ever gotten, and the experience that followed is one to remember. From the moment I walked into the shop, Gaige made me feel comfortable…so much so that I trusted his placement suggestions and size options from the jump. This tattoo meant a lot to me, and he captured my mom’s handwriting perfectly. Not only that, but when it came time for payment I realized that I never mentioned putting his tip on my card, leaving me with nothing that I could physically give him. With that he said “Don’t worry about it, it was a fun and quick tattoo. Your tip would be appreciated as a google review.” Gaige, thank you. I will forever be in debt to your work, and your humbleness. I have received nothing but compliments and admiration from your work, and I hope you know just how much i appreciate it. Today I went in to get a belly button piercing. I was referred my by cousin. Vinny was my piercer and he was so professional and walked through each and every step with me. He was also super nice and I wasnt too nervous. Like I said, he walked through each step, and was very thorough on going over the aftercare instructions with me. He was also very thorough with cleaning the tools beforehand. He even suggested me wait for another piercing I wanted to get. 110% recommend.

I will say that the staff there was awesome, friendly, and warming. Actually when I walk into the place, it didn’t have the same tattoo ambience as a lot of places have.It was a personal experience for me, because I took my eight-year-old daughter to get her ears pierced and Billy who did the piercing was phenomenal.The biggest thing is that he asked my daughter if she really wanted to get it done and she does not. We won’t do it. He didn’t look at me. It was directly to her which I really respect.I’ll recommend anyone I know to go there.

Vinny was amazing! My teen daughter and me went in to get our noses pierced and the staff was awesome to begin with. Vinny took the time to explain everything to my daughter and me. I originally went for a tongue piercing but unfortunately i don’t have the right anatomy for it which is perfectly fine ! Vinny went in detail on why i couldn’t get it and offered to do another piercing if i wanted to and of course i said yes and went with a double nostril. Very professional and clean. Some of these topics were- the best type of nose rings to promote health & safety, choosing which nostril side to pierce as well as general care. Vinny was an all around professional who gave me the needed confidence to choose him as my trusted PIERCER! So, I did! The actual piercing took place in a cubicle-like private setting. The premises was clean. The nose area and and the piercing instruments were disinfected with the utmost care. He described the piercing process prior to and during the actual activity. After the piercing, Vinny carefully detailed the healing and aftercare methods that I should follow in order to ensure a successful treated pierce.I had a great experience from the beginning to the end! I brought my daughter (9 year-old) to have her ears pierced here. Blake was incredibly gentle and took his time through the entire process to make my daughter feel incredibly comfortable. I would highly recommend Blake for any piercings, especially for younger kids. It was an incredible experience and her ears are not having any complications!

I just got my piercings done by Vinny today and he was fantastic! He was very professional and made the entire experience comfortable and easy. I got my nose pierced today & let me tell you..for someone who has bad anxiety I felt extremely comfortable walking in here & getting set up. Ask for vinny & you won’t be disappointed. He made sure I was happy with the placement, talked me through the process & then kept talking as if to distract me. The conversation just flowed. Took my 11 year old for her ears. My daughter chickened out upon arrival and Blake said to come back when she was ready. We went back and he informed us he just needed to reopen her old holes. He was very patient with her and let her be in control. He was very gentle during the entire process and was able to reopen them without the use of a needle.would definitely recommend!! We will be back for any future piercings and I plan to return for my own tattoos.

I had the right side of my nose done by Blake the service was AMAZING I felt very calm and comfortable as he walked me through the process. I give the experience a 10/10. He was kind enough to replaced the left side with another stud without any compensation. I definitely recommend getting pierced by him again!!

Blake was a great piercer! The entire studio is very clean and professional. I felt comfortable that he knew exactly what he was doing and he gave all of the proper aftercare tips once I was done. I called just to inquire about a piercing and ended up going in the same day for one . I was lucky enough to have caught Vinny on the phone and he was so informative and knowledgeable that I was so eager to get pierced by him . When I arrived the wait wasn’t long and he did not disappoint . He was so patient and made sure we both agreed on the piercing placement. After loving the placement , Vinny pierced me and he was Extremely FAST. Which means it truly was a pinch and it was done . Truly a 5 Star experience and I will absolutely recommend.

I had a dermal removal that was in my lower back for 5yrs. It was really deep. From my initial phone inquiry and consultation Vinny walked me through the process and set the right expectations. He was AMAZING from start to finish. Minimal pain and very small incision. So friendly, clean, and very patient. I highly recommend this place!! Super happy with my results and experience. I recently visited this place for my nose piercing. Since I am under 18, my mom had to come with me and bring her ID. I had to bring my birth certificate and my school ID which is normal for piercing a minor. Vinny was very helpful, he walked me through the nose jewelry and thoroughly explained each of the rings. He was very wise. As far as the piercing process, it was very quick. I was super nervous and was asking soooo many questions, but he stayed patient and made me feel comfortable. It was over before i knew it and was not as bad as I thought. He explained aftercare and welcomed me back to the shop if there were any issues. 10/10 would highly recommend .

Very clean and very professional. Gave Duff 3 pictures and told him a few things about what I didn’t like in each. Came back and his design was much more than expected. He’s very good at understanding what you like and putting your words into what you want in his designs. Definitely going back for a full sleeve when I can and don’t think I’ll ever go anywhere else

About 2 months ago I walked into the shop intending to get a tattoo with a friend, and came out amazed to say the least.The skill, value, and professionalism was outstanding. It did not take me long to go back and get another. Gaige had done my last two tattoos, and truly is amazing at what he does. I’ll probably be back in another month or two.

I went in to get nose jewelry changed out by (I believe it was) Blake. He was very patient and kind! I hadn’t changed out my nose ring in a couple years so it was very stuck and difficult to remove. I needed it removed by a certain day for a medical procedure and at first it wasn’t budging, but he made sure I would be able to meet with another piercer in case we weren’t able to get it out today. He ended up being able to remove it today and had me practice putting in and removing the stud that I switched to. 12/10 would recommend!

Got my nose pierced about a month ago there and i’ve had the easiest healing time and the best piercing. felt no pain. they made it so comfortable as the piercing was being done. only took 20 mins and completely stopped hurting after 2 days. love y’all.

Went today to get tattoos for two of my children. Joe was terrific with my older daughter. Her tattoo came out beautifully! The details are amazing. Jeff did my younger daughter’s tattoo. He did a wonderful job with her request as well. The girls both love their tattoos and I was truely impressed by everything they did today!!!!

I got my piercings done a week ago by Vinny. An absolute professional! He was patient and clear with the process and after care. I was very nervous, but he put me at ease. I highly recommend going to him and here for piercings!

My daughter wanted to get her nose pierced yesterday, so we called and they said they could do it. We drove 20 minutes to this place only to be told that they were only doing tattoos that day(this was 7/3). They told us to come back the next day at 4 pm and he could 100% do the piercing then. I planned my day around it and once we arrived at 4 pm, the door was locked and no one was there. I was even considering taking my other daughter here for a tattoo. Poor customer service and wouldnt recommend without an appointment... and they dont let you make appointments for a piercing.

Went in to get a septum ring for my newly healed piercing. I was trying to find something that was small enough to look right on my face. They were very nice quality rings and the owner came over and told me not to touch them. They were expensive I get it but I was planning on buying one, he was the only reason I didn’t. The counter guy was really cool though, seemed like a good environment.

Went today for a nose piercing. The piercer, Blake, was very nice, patient, put me at ease, answered all my questions and made the overall experience awesome! Would definitely recommend to anyone looking for a piercing especially if you are new to it!

Vinny pierced my daughter’s nose. It was her first piercing and she was really nervous. He took the time to answer EVERY single one of her questions, explain everything he was doing and that was going to happen, and even joked with her to help her calm down. He broke everything down for her from beginning to care, he even explained to her how to pick and measure the perfect placement of the piercing. He was amazing and definitely made her first piercing a great experience! I will probably now be going back to him for another piercing for myself lol.

Had to take my septum out for an event and couldn’t get it back in after a few hours so I went in for some help. Blake was very informative when I told him I wanted to downsize my bar, the process was painless even though it seemed like it started to heal up already, and the atmosphere was very friendly. Would definitely recommend this shop.

The piercer Vinny was very professional and welcoming walked me through the whole process and explained everything from prepping for the pierce to the aftercare following, was very clean inside all around and had a nice selection of jewlery for every piercing.

I went into the shop today no sure if I was getting my nose pierced. I knew I was going in today to replaced my Targus earring. Vinny put my mind at ease when I decided to get my nose pierced. As you can see, the bottom of the tattoo is reversed. To boot, they charged $100 for this.The customer mentioned that it was reversed before work started, but the tattoo artist replied, Thats what I printed, so thats what you are getting done. Since tattoos are forever, Ive always known reputable shops to put the sketch on the person and let them walk around a bit to see if they like the size, location. Not this place!I havent had ink done myself in quite awhile. So, I asked around to people that have, and they all agree that this is, at best, a $60 tattoo.Overpriced, rude, and shoddy, incorrect workmanship*Note - Im just learning now that Google doesnt allow photos to be attached to negative reviews. As well, the business can hide the photo. Unbelievable.

Steve Hanna is an extremely talented artist. Steve did my first tattoo, on my ribs, (yes, my FIRST tattoo on my ribs) and made me feel comfortable the entire time. Not only did Steve give me a beautiful tattoo that I am extremely happy with, but he is also a personable and accommodating artist. Steve made sure that I was happy with the placement, size and overall look of the tattoo. Steve was also knowledgable enough to tell me that the original size that I wanted for my tattoo would not suffice because it would look blown out over time, but he made it to an appropriate size and it looks wonderful. He was straight up, honest and was not interested in just making a quick buck. His main concern was that I was happy in the end. Steve made my first experience a memorable one and I intend to go back to Steve Hanna for the rest of my tattoos in the future.

I came in on a really busy day and the quality of service was still amazing. I was pierced by Vinny and he was super quick, took the time to answer all my questions, and it was crystal clear he is very knowledgeable about what he does. I’ll definitely be back!

I came in before closing for a nose piercing and my piercer was Vinny. He was excellent and professional. He let me know my options and informed me about the piercing and it’s maintenance. I will be coming back to see him for a second nose piercing in December 😄

SO....I dont personally have any tattoos but my daughter really wanted one for Christmas. I went here to get a gift certificate and WOW what a clean and COMFORTABLE shop!!! I actually felt like relaxed if that makes any sense. I think I dealt directly with the owner or one of them because this guy was PRO.I am listing this as a Professional Tattoo Shop.

Dont bother without an appointment, $50 deposit. We werent sure exactly what we wanted and were looking for an artist to help us. After 45min it was clear they were unable to serve us so we drove down to Got Ink 241 High Street. Shannon and Vicki were most helpful and friendly! They gave us the tattoo experience we were looking for. Highly recommended!

I got my piercing here and loved it. Great experience and a great piercer. Whenever I have a problem, I can come back free of charge and hell help me with it. Piercings are a more expensive here than Ive seen elsewhere, but I think its worth it for the service. Cant say anything about their tattoos.

I have two tattoos from Mr. Tattoo and I honestly wouldn’t go anywhere else to get one done. They take into consideration how the tattoo will look in a few years when it comes to the design and size of the tattoo which was helpful for me so I didn’t get something small that would smudge and fade in a few years. The artwork is beautiful and I would recommend checking them out!

Messaged owner who stated deposit id non refundable!! When you break your own policy snd change appointment it should be!! And the comment tattoos are forever like no big deal appointment was changed. yes we know that but they are not forever if they are not put on your body as promised! And the comment we are not getting into your schedule. My time is as important as yours!! Disrespect, inconsiderate, rude, demeaning, poor customer service!!!

Went in for a simple ambigram tattoo on my inner forearm a few yrs ago. I liked the tattoo, the artist and the shop so much that it turned into a full sleeve. Clean and professional. Some really talented artists in there. The owner Jay truely takes pride in his art, artist, as well as his place of business and it shows. Definitely highly recommended if your lookin for some ink.

First of all, they told us not to make an appointment, so we didnt, but we showed up at the time that was suggested to us. they were full, we wanted to make an appointment to make sure it didnt happen again, we couldnt. we call again a few days later to see when we can come in, before he told us that of course he could do a septum on a 15 year old, just bring identification and birth certificate. we were told this both over the phone and when we tried to come in person. two times. apparently in three days he changed his mind and told us he never said that. it is extremely unprofessional and unfair.

I got my tatoo here just yesterday and the shop and everyone was nice, but I asked for a script tattoo on my chest and comparing it to the other one I have it’s shaky and really doesnt flow at all. Partially my fault though because halfway through the tattoo i realized it wasn’t printed And he just freehanded his own script. Definitely gonna look to get this covered up. My tatoo also wasn’t even wrapped when I left because I was told the positioning of it was awkward and I have 8 other tattoos and every artist wrapped every one of them right after. I went here cause of the great reviews but it didn’t workout for me

Walked in with daughter to get tat. Only two artists were in the shop at 5:45pm on a Saturday night. We were given a quote and asked to come back in two/two and a half hours. We said Ok, well be back. We returned within the timeframe stated and the had artist left. Very unprofessional.........

Had a tattoo done by both Vinny and Lee...they both did an amazing job. I am very fearful of pain and both didnt even hurt. The shop is very clean and everyone there is very friendly.

Not sure who the artist was when I went there years ago to get my tattoo but the lines aren’t connected it’s not shaded in all the way. I paid $160 for two tattoos and the one looks horrible the other one is ok. But I will NEVER go there again.

Great place, very clean, love the fun atmosphere too. Ive gotten a few tattoos by Duff, including my 3D butterfly which I get multiple compliments on all the time.

I thought I would get it but nope. I went three times and did not get anything in return. The first day no piercer available second day and today they claimed to still not have jewelry here. I wasted my time and gas to drive here. It seemed as if they didn’t want to even do it for me even though I had my id/birth certificate and guardian with me. Not the best customer service and won’t be coming here again.

Lee is heavy handed and will dig into your skin especially if you’re a darker complexion asking for color. My tattoo/skin is a little scarred Bc of him.He also doesn’t go w the idea you gave him. He’ll copy and paste it from google or wherever he finds it.

I wanted to get a very tiny tattoo for my finger of a plane with little dash marks in the back of the plane... and honestly $100-150 is just too much and that’s without color! My original artist in pemberton would do it for $30... it’s ashamed
