Ryan Bright was the tattoo artist. He was very kind and helpful. I felt comfortable and confident to be able to get exactly what I was wanting. He was very patient and understanding even when I asked for him to change the size a few times. Thank you so much for the great experience! Would definitely recommend to others. The atmosphere of the whole tattoo shop is very welcoming and they offer bottled water and offer music preferences as well. Cleanliness was great 😊

Jesse is an amazing artist! He and all of the employees at Valkyrie are very nice, helpful, and professional. They make you feel welcomed and comfortable during your visit with them. Also, Valkyrie Tattoo is a very relaxing, calm, and clean environment. I would recommend this place to anyone looking for a beautiful Tattoo or a piercing.

20/10 recommend Jesse! He’s done two pieces for me, one being a portrait of my cats and I truly couldn’t be happier. He is extremely friendly, has the room set up for whatever you want- listening to music, watching tv, taking a nap, whatever you want.He also allowed me & my two friends to book him for the entire day. We brought it tons of snacks, ordered food, and had the best tattoo day. I couldn’t recommend him enough.

Rekkr did my first three real tattoos and he did them so well and in an hour quicker than expected. He was constantly checking up and making sure I was comfortable, he offered me a snack and water, was very kind and fun to talk to. Will definitely be booking again! (they look messy because of the wrap).

Hayden was such a good artist. If you want a fine line type of tattoo with amazing stippling work then I would 1000% recommend going to her to tattoo you. She held conversation so well and made sure that I was comfortable the whole time. The overall experience was a 10/10. Be sure to check out her other work because shes good at everything and is so willing to work with you.

Jesse and his team are amazing. I have done piercings in the past but today I got my first ever tattoo at Valkyrie. I should say that not only I’m in love with my tattoo, but I also had the best experience from start to end. The way every single step was explained and the way they make you feel like a friend was very precious to me. Definitely a place to go if you are wanting a piercing or a tattoo.Thank you so much again!

I would give 10 stars if possible. Hayden did an absolutely wonderful job. So easy from start to finish. I look forward to many more tattoo sessions with such a talented artist. Hayden did a great job with helping me get what, I pictured in my head , to getting it to print. She helped me improve it by suggesting another color to make it pop. I look forward to going back and completing the connection between my tattoos.

ABSOLUTELY the best tattoo artist I have had the pleasure to know and trust my skin to. Jesse’s work transcends just tattooing. He can take your simple idea or drawing and turn it into a beautiful piece of wearable art. He has done four of my tattoos and I am already scheduled for my next. He is also working on an insanely intricate sleeve for my husband. Jesse is calm, patient, passionate, and has amazing attention to detail. The shop is clean, relaxing, and beautiful.

I came to see Hayden for a rib piece and she was amazing!!! Walking into the salon it had a really awesome, comfortable atmosphere! I was immediately greeted by someone and he got my paperwork completed quickly. Hayden made the experience very comfortable. I sent her an idea of what I wanted and she was spot on with her artwork! Great experience! Having worked with multiple parlors and artists over the years, I can easily say Jesse and the Valkyrie team handedly come in first place. Easy location to access, good parking options, and the facilities were comfortable, clean, and had everything you could need.The intake process was well handled from a technology perspective. Even before arriving, I was telling people how smooth and well thought out the form, emails, booking, and invoicing were. Design session went great. Jesse was able to take my ideas and then put his own artistic spin to the ask and the piece was fantastic. Jesse himself is an academic of the trade and is a wealth of knowledge and suggestions about the piece we did, as well as what to think about and how to plan for future work. He didn’t just take the artistry seriously, but also approached the session and conversation from an educational perspective.The staff and other artists were very helpful, easy to talk to, and the entire vibe of the place was just relaxed and inviting.I’ll certainly be back for future work and use their piercing services for our daughter’s ears coming up. I’ll likely use a separate review for that process.

Went to get my wife’s first tattoo, she was really nervous and has waited a long time to get one. Jesse was exactly the artist she needed. He was very calm, walked her through the process, and her tattoo turned out perfectly. Valkyrie is an awesome tattoo studio. Great customer service and cool atmosphere. 100% recommend

Valkyrie Tattoo is the most holistic and experience centric tattoo spot I’ve ever been too. I’ve worked with Jessie long before and he’s always done the best work, but something extra special about the place and the environment.He’s got the lightest touch and always knocks it out of the park with my art. Attached is my most recent piece! He helped me bring my story to life with this design. Bonus points are other pieces Jessie has done for me.

Jesse is an awesome artist that works very hard to make the client feel comfortable, to listen to what the client wants, and to have a legitimate human connection throughout the whole process. My 3 hour appointment felt like mere minutes because we talked the entire time. 11/10 experience, definitely a much needed place for Alamance county!

Two visits down, and MANY more to come. Jesse is an amazing artist and makes sure his client is well taken care of and feels like family. Highly recommend!

Jesse was amazing to work with. I had an idea of what I wanted, and he not only did exactly that, but he also took into account my other tattoos to ensure the new one was a style I liked. I will definitely be coming back to have more work done.

If I could give 10 stars, I would! Jesse is the BEST! Took his time and was very laid back and patient (especially for my mom who was a first timer!)... were all so happy and wont go anywhere else! The entire studio was very clean and everyone was so so nice! Very highly recommend!!

Valkyrie Tattoo is a game-changer for piercings! Our daughter got her ears pierced on a whim by the lovely and talented, Olivia (Liv). Liv went above and beyond to make my daughter feel safe, comfortable, and special. Livs presence and attitude made for an unforgettable experience and one that we hope future families (or those who want a piercing or tattoo) will take advantage of. The space was incredibly clean, smelled wonderful, and had a lot of personal character that made the experience unique. Definitely do yourself a favor and check out this business - you wont be disappointed.

I got my beautiful tattoo done by Jessie a few months ago and wow! He provided such a safe environment and allowed me to feel comfortable with such a personal tattoo. Highly recommend this Shop! Lyv Is awesome! She made me feel very comfortable and is very knowledgeable about piercings! She also takes extra care to make sure you are happy with placement and explains the pros and cons of different types of jewelry Before going through with the piercing and is very patient. The owner really cares about the process. Takes his time. Line work is amazing. And makes sure you’re comfortable. The vibe is a very healing atmosphere. It’s more than just getting tatted it’s a whole experience. 10/10 would definitely recommend to the locals. And on top of that it’s Veteran Owned. Got to love a good veteran owned business.

Outstanding atmosphere with even better service

Started my arm sleeve with Rekker yesterday. He tattooed me for about 6 hrs with one 20 minute break. I sent pictures I wanted and he researched the theme I wanted to go with and drew the rest to do the fill in. Awesome job Rekker. Can wait to get this arm finished and going right to the other arm. I will post pics when complete
