Absolutely in love with my tattoo by Bryan. All the guys were very friendly the 2 days I spent there. My tattoo is the best too I will ever have in my life. I am in love!

Bryan Merck is easily the best ultra realistic, portrait artist in Iowa. He creates a comfortable, fun, and funny environment to be in. The best artist with the best conversations. He will make your idea come to life.

Steve Norman was the BEST!!! 3 generations.

Steve Norman has done alot of work on my husbands sleeve. His lines are clean and his work is solid. Steve is a wholesome, down to earth guy youll enjoy getting to know while getting your tattoo.

Great shop and artists. Kane is very professional and works with your custom drawing to get the best design for you. Unlike some shops, they are ready for your appointment when you arrive. Prices are reasonable for high quality tattoo.

If you’re looking for a an amazing artist for a portrait. Bryan does amazing work. He did a portrait of my son on my calf and I couldn’t be anymore happier with it. The attention to detail is crazy. Kane and everyone there were professional, friendly, and I enjoyed the banter between the guys. It was an enjoyable experience and Kane did an amazing job turning my ideas into a breathtaking vision that now lives on my skin!

My artist was Bryan. He did a portrait of Brian Shaw for me. The tattoo turned out amazing and I couldn’t wish for anything better. The shop was very clean and had a great environment. Everyone there was very friendly and seamed to love what they do. Bryan was amazing to work with and took everything into consideration with my tattoo. He was vocal about if you need a break just tell him if you needed one. He was very nice and we had some good conversations. I would 100% recommend Evolution Tattoo to anyone who is look for any type of tattoo as it seems they can do pretty much anything between the four of them. I can’t say enough about how happy I am with the tattoo Bryan did for me.

This is an awesome shop, I got tattooed by Bryan and it’s turned out so beautifully so far(second session in a few weeks!!) what I really appreciated is the honesty and transparency he gave me when I pitched my original idea, he had my best interest in mind when he suggested a different design that would be cleaner and less convoluted so it would hold up over time and be readable. The design he gave me was even better than what I imagined, and the colors are so saturated! Kane and Steve do amazing work, I’ve seen their portfolios and they are both incredible artists. I highly recommend this shop if you like big, colorful and detailed tattoos! It’s also very worth mentioning the high standard of cleanliness, thats also a huge gold star for evolution!

Went here for the first time after seeing the line work on a friend’s tattoo. As I was waiting for Kane to get set up, I was able to browse through the book of both artists, Kane Cook and Bryan Merck. Any doubts I had about getting a tattoo from either of these two was quickly washed away. Needless to say, I’ve been back a couple of times since.Do yourself a favor and book time today. Thank me later!

A great place and a great experience. Very clean everyone is polite and professional. The work is some of the best I have ever seen. There isnt a artist there I wouldnt get a tattoo from. For me it is a waste of time and money to go anywhere else.

I dont want to hurt anyones feelings by saying this is the most fun ive had at a tattoo shop but this was the most funn i had getting a tattoo ever. Great artists, clean space, quality work and free chips!
