The experience was exceptional!I’ve been wanting to pierce my ears for a long time and researched about Monarch. When I decided to get my ears pierced, I wanted to do it on my birthday and tried to make an appointment online. At first they didn’t have anything available online so I called. They communicated that something was wrong with the booking system and was able to get me in.Courtney is so friendly and helped set up the appointment. She was very kind with taking out earrings from the case and letting me see them up close.Kelly is beautiful! In her attitude and everything. She explained everything as she did it and why. She assured me when I was nervous.I had such a good experience. I know that if I do get another piercing I’m definitely going back!

Incredibly kind staff. I had no problems making an appointment on short notice a couple days after my helix piercing started causing me problems. I ended up having the piercing removed due to healing issues (something about this particular piercing just did not agree with me even after 1.5 years of babying it), and the process was quick and painless. I was in and out of the studio in less than 10 minutes! I’ll definitely be back to browse their collection of jewelry for my other piercings.

Everyone was very kind and wonderful! I had a lot of anxiety before my appointment as I had never been here before and it was my first facial piercing, but Kelly was very patient and professional and took time to thoroughly explain the process as it was happening. Vibes were great, 10/10 !

I went to Monarch in order to have a diamond nostril stud with an l-bend removed and replaced with a stud that could be changed out if I wanted or needed. The staff was so professional, personable, and helpful. I bought a new piece I love and had each of my questions answered and comments addressed. The studio is great, and so is the staff! Ill definitely be returning for more!

I got second and third lobe piercings done today and this studio is so clean, calming, and professional! But my favorite part was the precious staff! Kelly was so amazing and I felt so calm in what is normally a stressful situation for me! I went in to Monarch today to get my daith pierced and I was blown away by the professionalism of Monarch! I was so nervous as this was my first piercing outside of regular lobe piercings, but the vibe of the studio was immediately calming. All the employees were so kind and respectful and really put me at ease. Kelly was an amazing piercer and did a phenomenal job with the piercing itself. She was also so sweet and I loved talking to her, she made me feel so much more relaxed just by chatting with me, plus she explained the whole process as she did it so I would have no surprises. I had been thinking about a new piercing for months, settled on Monarch, and Im so freaking glad I did! Kelly is the absolute best! Somehow I overlooked the calendar and ended up coming to my appointment two weeks early (lol). Possibly because I was super excited to get my piercings. However, the lady at the front and I laughed it off and she helped me schedule an appointment that same week in a slot that someone else had cancelled. While I was there, she welcomed me to browse the jewelry; which is absolutely gorgeous by the way. As someone whose skin gets really irritated by nickel, I appreciated the high quality.With that being said, Kelly and her apprentice Rhett are amazing. Rhett was very patient and helpful when I picked out my jewelry, and Kelly thoroughly walked me through the piercing process so there would be no surprises. I was a little nervous as I thought both my anti-tragus and snug piercings were going to be really painful, when in fact they both felt like a small pinch with a little pressure. I have to attribute that to Kelly’s gentleness and expertise.I also appreciate that they do not re-use any materials from client to client. Both the marker Kelly used to mark the placement of my piercings and the tool she used to snap on my charms, I got to take home. They thoroughly sanitize the jewelry as well.I am extremely satisfied with my piercings and the service I received. Everyone was so kind and welcoming. I will definitely be going to Monarch for all my piercings.

The staff were extremely friendly and informative on the entire piercing process. The environment is light and cleanly and has a professional yet hospitable atmosphere. The jewelry is gorgeous and there is a wide variety to choose from. The only factor that concerned me was the price point of the jewelry. The jewelry is beautiful and are good quality but there are no plated options for the jewelry which make them extremely expensive. They do have stainless steel alternatives but the options are limited and are really basic. I had an overall great experience but be prepared to spend a pretty penny on the jewelry.

*update to my review. After getting my piercings at Monarch (and being well into my healing process) I developed a significant problem with one of my piercings. Kelley was incredibly skilled at resolving the issue. It’s one thing to perform a great initial service - it’s an even better thing when months later you help someone out of a predicament (that was in no way Monarchs problem)!! This confirms why you should get your work done from a respected professional. It’s great to know you’re in good hands moving forward should you need follow up help!! Curation choices with this level of expertise in piercing techniques is generally found in LA and NYC!!

My wife knew i wanted to get gauges in my lobes for over a year. After a few bad experiences with other piercers, I was disheartened and put it off. The wife found this place and made an appointment for me. Im glad she did. The shop is bright and friendly. After talking with Kelly, she had no issues with what I wanted done so we picked out my plugs and got to it. The process was quick and relatively painless considering I was going straight to a 6 gauge. Now we get to the next day (this morning) and I woke up to zero pain, pressure, heat or oozing. I will refer anyone who needs piercings done to this shop and if I ever make the decision to add more piercings I will definitely be back!

Rhett, Kelly, and Courtney were very kind and helpful when I stopped by today! I had gotten my helix pierced elsewhere and didnt walk out feeling very knowledgeable or informed about how to care for my new piercings, so when I lost an earring and needed to replace it, I found Monarch. I am so glad I did! I made an appointment to shop for jewelry, but they were able to squeeze me in for an earring change with a short wait. The shop is clean and bright, its easy to find, and the vibes are so good. I am so grateful for their kindness. Any future piercings I get, I will be sure to make an appointment here!

I took my kids in today to get their ears pierced and I have so many nice things to say about them. I really appreciated how friendly and thoughtful the staff out front were, how careful they were about cleanliness, and how gentle and kind the piercer Kelly was. I had an appointment for a nose piercing, but the morning of my appointment my cat’s health wasn’t doing very well and I was extremely worried about her. However, I still decided to go to my appointment. When I walked in I was instantly greeted with kindness and warmth. I had a stuffy nose from crying and was worried about the nose piercing not being able to heal since I probably wasn’t going to stop crying anytime soon :( I explained this to Kelly and she was very understanding and patient with me saying we could reschedule to another day. We also discussed other options and I decided to instead pierce my daith. Kelly walked me through every step during the piercing process and was extremely informative when telling me about the aftercare. As I was leaving she gave me a hug and handed me a flower. I’m very thankful to Monarch for not only giving me a new piercing I love, but also being very kind to me and gifting me a beautiful flower. Thank you so so much ❤️

I cannot praise this place enough! It was my first piercings and I was definitely anxious about it. They gave me all the time I needed and answered all my questions. I got my septum pierced this past Sunday by Kelly. The entire staff was extremely friendly and welcoming. I was somewhat nervous beforehand, but after seeing how knowledgeable and kind they all were it really put me at ease. The piercing itself was quick and over in no time. Kelly walked me through the entire process and made sure to thoroughly explain the aftercare to me. I’m beyond happy with my piercing and I really appreciate that they do a free checkup a few weeks after the appointment to make sure the piercing is healing well. Kelly is amazing, I have been to Monarch several times now and every time I am blown away by her knowledge, professionalism, and skill. The studio is very high-end and definitely has a sexy vibe. As a middle-aged gent with a slightly younger girlfriend, we both were extremely comfortable. She loved Kelly, who can put anyone at ease and is super friendly. The great ambiance and overall experience has led to multiple trips for some fun and delicate piercings for each of us! I never thought I would get pierced, much less multiple piercings. Makes me feel like such an undercover stud masquerading in corporate America:-)! Monarch is unlike any other piercing studio on the East Coast and possibly nationally!

Monarch was recommended to me by a friend as the place to go for piercings in Chattanooga. I’m so glad I followed the advice and waited for this appointment to be available. Kelly was SO friendly, patient, thorough, and efficient. I appreciate how professional and experienced she is but what really set her apart is her kind nature which put me at ease. I’m really no good at piercings and needles and Kelly’s conversation and careful review of everything that was happening tamed my anxiety. The shop is extremely clean and there’s even an autoclave in full view. The piercing room is very comfortable and is very clean but doesn’t feel medical or off-putting. The entire experience was positive. Kelly is just darling and made me feel safe, welcome, and comfortable. My friend was right: this the place to go for piercings.

Monarch Piercing definitely gets my strong endorsement for piercings — especially first timers.I got my first (and currently only) piercing here a couple months ago. The boutique is super clean, and the staff are wonderful. I’ve interacted with Kelly and Rhett, who are both exceedingly professional, courteous and conscientious.The piercing rooms look like doctors’ offices, that’s how pristine they are. I also love that they use an autoclave for disinfection (medical grade machine that destroys all microbial life).Kelly performed my piercing. She walked through every step, making me feel very comfortable. It was basically painless! She also thoroughly went over after care. She also provides follow up appointments to check your piercing.Recently I needed to get in about an issue I was having with my piercing (this issue was not at all related to my experience at Monarch), and even with a fully booked schedule Kelly and Rhett worked me in right away and fixed the issue seamlessly.The jewelry is gorgeous and of high quality.Cannot say enough good things!

Kelly was so sweet and amazing and I had an amazing time chatting with her between piercings. She checked between each one I got (6 total!) to make sure that I was alright to keep going, and let me know that if I needed to reschedule some for another time that it was possible. Left a $50 tip, and Im so happy with my piercings! Will definitely be recommending this place to my friends and tell everyone where I got them! I brought my daughter in to purchase a safe pair of earrings after a horrible experience with a cheap pair getting stuck in her ears. The staff was extremely knowledgeable and professional, but more importantly kind. They were very sweet to my 5 year old, who was a little nervous due to her recent earring issues. They helped us choose a pair that were age appropriate, super cute, and safe for little ears. The earring were a little different because the post is on the backs and the front snaps on. The staff were very patient and made sure I understood exactly how to put them in. I would definitely recommend them and look forward to getting a fun pair of earrings there in the future. I don’t see myself needing any piercings, but if I decided to, I would never walk back into a sketchy tattoo parlor or Claire’s to get it done. I would pay the extra money to go to Monarch and feel totally confident that it’s a clean place with piercing experts!

Kelly is incredible ... Rhett is a great ‘side-kick’ ... and the studio space is beautiful! I took my youngest daughter to get her lobes pierced by Kelly a few years ago and I KNEW I would only use Monarch from that point on! On Mother’s Day, Kelly did an awesome job on my ‘frontal helix’ piercing, and the piece of jewelry I chose from their selection is beautiful. Im an old hand at piercings now and have a number of them from stores of wildly varying qualities - I can say without a doubt that Id count Monarch among my best experiences.My first time in the shop occurred as a bit of an emergency - one of my older piercings was refusing to go back in and I decided that enlisting the help of a professional was a better choice than forcing it myself. Id misunderstood my appointment date and come in a week earlier than reserved but Rhett and Kelly managed to graciously squeeze me in since it was an emergency situation (thank goodness!).The store has a simple layout and is both inviting and very clean - with my emergency resolved, I decided to come back in later to get a new piercing done and Im so glad that I did.Pricing for a new piercing is a combination of a flat fee for the service itself, plus some variability for the cost of the jewelry itself depending on materials. Obviously this means the cost is a little on the higher end since even the low end jewelry is titanium, but piercings are very much a you get what you pay for type service (and I feel like I can say that since Im 8 piercings in now from 4 different stores). (Also, for what its worth, titanium is a great choice for people with metal allergies//sensitive skin because it contains no nickel!)I felt the price was very much worth the clean environment, knowledgeable and friendly staff, professionalism, cute jewelry, and amazing final result.Thanks Monarch! Youll see more of me in the future. :)

The entire experience was beyond what I expected! I had one ear already pierced ages ago and was planning to pierce the other side. We talked through options, and came to a plan that I was completely satisfied with. At no point did I feel rushed or pushed. Kellys energy is infectious!Update: Came back six months later for a second piercing and my experience was not unique. Service continues to be outstanding and all the folks at the shop seem to enjoy being on staff!

Wow! Monarch has really set the standard for piercings. Aside from being super accommodating and the cleanest studio I have ever set foot in, they are also all members of the Association of Professional Piercers. There is no other studio around within nearly 200 miles holding that accreditation. They go out of their way to make sure your jewelry goes through a special sanitation process and that you feel comfortable the entire time. Their selection of jewelry is top-notch grade, stunning and incredibly unique. I can’t go on enough about how wonderful the experience was for me with Ms. Kelly Carvara. She made me feel super relaxed during a time that would be otherwise horribly nerve-wracking. I would go here again and again and I wish I would have discovered Monarch sooner! If you’re on the fence about a new piercing, do it here! You will be glad you did. You’ll leave with much more than just a piercing. I absolutely had an amazing experience here. I went in super nervous about the piercing i was getting and they made me feel so comfortable! They answered every question i could think of with such knowledge and made sure i understood it all.The receptionist was amazing. He approached me and starting explaining it to me and i could feel my nervousness melt away. He was absolutely great.Kelly was so professional and laid back. I was super comfortable with her. I had my first experience at Monarch Body Piercing yesterday and I plan to be a lifelong customer! My entire experience was pleasant from start to finish. Kelly greeted me the moment I walked in and she talked to me about jewellery, the piercing, and pricing up front so that there would be no surprises. She is friendly and easy to talk to. Her products are all beautifully displayed and they have a wide range for any price range. I went today for the first time to get some jewelry changed out by their guest artist, Denise. I was walked through the jewelry section, which definitely hold the best selection in town and made my choice. It was sterilized while I waited in their autoclave. The prices are a little higher than what you will find in most shops in town, however the metal and gemstones are top quality and they do have options between different budgets.My bridge piercing I came in with was not ideal for me. It had been pierced with a curved barbell instead of a straight one which caused sagging of my jewelry which pulled my skin. They fitted me with a perfect match that made my piercing look SO much better and more professionally done without shaming me or the artist that had performed the piercing.The entire staff was so friendly and this was the best, most personalized experience at a piercing studio that I have had. I cannot recommend enough.

Rhett spent a ton of time helping my Mom and I pick out jewelry. He was so warm and thoughtful. You dont find many people like him anymore. The facility is impeccably clean and beautiful too. Kelly is just as warm and so sweet. I didnt get pierced today (just a jewelry swap) but she was gentle and told me what she was doing etc. I will definitely be coming back. I got my septum pierced here a few days ago. My experience was absolutely AMAZING! The jeweler helped me create a wonderful piece that I absolutely adore. He was VERY knowledgeable with answers to any every question I had. Kelly was so sweet and walked through every step of the piercing so there we no surprises. I brought by 9 year old yesterday to get her earlobes pierced. I am so glad I did. Ava said that she wanted me to say how happy she was that Kelly didnt surprise her with the needle or change up what was happening from what was explained. I was happy with how clean and sterile everything was and how kind the employees were. I had two kids and the staff didnt seem annoyed to have kids hanging around the place. I completely recommend Monarch Piercing over any place at the mall with a stool and a fun. :) Kelly is a professional who takes her work seriously.

I got my cartilage pierced at a tattoo shop... dont do that. My cartilage around the piercing became inflamed and piercing bumps started to form, so I booked an appointment with the staff at Monarch. I can not imagine a better facility to get pierced! The staff were extremely helpful, friendly, and professional, the facility was extremely clean and organized, and booking an appointment was extremely convenient! The staff answered any questions I had, made me feel safe and comfortable, carefully explained the piercing and healing processes, and made sure that I understood how to properly take care of my piercings. Monarch is the ONLY business I would recommend for any and all piercing needs!

This was my first non-ear piercing. Kelly and Rhett were professional, personable, and the sweetest people I have ever met. I highly recommend coming here for any piercings and jewelry, the procedure is really top notch and the jewelry is of great quality with much selection, and the customization with anodized titanium jewelry was such a nice surprise! Ive gone multiple times, for my nipple piercings and ear lobe piercings, and I look forward to possibly coming for more. Such a great experience! I went last week for a daith piercing and could not believe the atmosphere I walked into. The location is very welcoming. The gentleman at the desk was super helpful and did a great job walking me through the process. When the nerves really started to flow Kelly was super calming and did a great job explaining everything pertaining to my new piercing (even the correct pronunciation doth :o) I could not say enough good things about this place and have already been spreading the world on what a great establishment it is!

I was treating myself for my 18th birthday to my belly button piercing. Paperwork was super quick, and they have the sterilization machine in the front so that you can truly see that everything they use is clean. I was nervous to get my belly button pierced, and I openly told Kelly that. She reassured me, made me laugh, and calmed me down. I BARELY felt the needle. Kelly checked on me and kept making sure that I wasnt woozy, even though I told her I wasnt. She was taking care of me like a mom! I LOVE Kelly, she is officially my soul sister! Thank you so much for making my birthday the best birthday yet, for making me feel so safe and cared for, and for the best experience ever! I will be sending EVERYONE here!

I just got my smiley pierced and I am beyond happy with my experience. Everyone was so sweet and helpful! I was running a few minutes late to my appointment so I called to let them know and they said “all that matters is that you get here safe” and then when I got to the shop the customer service was amazing. We had 3 generations in this shop on 2 different days, we were treated with incredible respect, they were very happy to help us and they spent quality time with us until every question we had was answered. Their customer service cant be beat, I have never felt so comfortable and appreciated and left the shop feeling happy and exceptionally educated. During the second visit the professionalism viewed and experienced was stellar, I worked in the OR for years so I knew what to look for particularly in sterile procedures. It was a very professional and calming procedure with perfect placement and very limited pain involvement. It is very obvious to me that the staff and owner are well educated, caring and compassionate people, they exceeded my every expectation!

I had been wanting to get an industrial piercing for a while and finally got the nerve, found Monarch on google and was impressed with their ratings and reviews and scheduled a consultation. From the moment I met Kelly she made me feel extremely comfortable and was so informative, helpful and so sweet! I wasnt completely sure I wanted the piercing done the day I walked in, but her demeanor, flexibility and transparency about the process boosted my confidence to go ahead and get what Id been wanting. I have to say I read the reviews prior to going to see Kelly. I had lots of reservations about what I wanted done. I did my research, I read every page on her website! Other reviews complain about the pricing! Those are people whole want it done cheap. Kelly is an amazing person, answered every one of my questions. I had a large gauge piercing done on both my ear lobes. Very sterile, very nice, made me feel very comfortable and she did an amazing job. It’s not no tattoo shop who makes you pay first and then does the work. She performs her task and then payment comes after. I trusted everything she said and her time spent training and the supplies she uses cost money. I didn’t mind paying her fees. She’s awesome.

I will definitely be returning for future piercings. I got three conch piercings and these were my first piercings since getting my lobes done with a gun when I was 9. Personally, I’m not someone who gets super anxious or freaks out with pain but they made sure I felt comfortable and knew what was going on the whole time. The atmosphere was very nice and everyone was so friendly and professional. Overall, it was a great experience.

These are the best people and piercers ever! Kelly is so sweet and wonderful and knowledgeable, she takes good care to make sure you’re not going through excessive pain (I mean a piercing is going to hurt but some people/places make it worse than it should be). She pierced my septum and I loved the whole experience and my piercing (excellent placement!) and she recently changed out my jewelry for me and helped me pick out exactly what I wanted. I plan on having more piercings in the next few months and I am only going to her, that’s for sure. I know that everything is sanitary and clean and that I’ll be treated well. This is truly the only place to get pierced in Chattanooga!

I can’t say enough amazing things about this place. It was my first time being pierced at Monarch but I will for sure be going back for any other piercings I want in the future. Rhett greeted me and immediately connected with me. They were extremely excited to help me with my jewelry and talked me in to getting paired nostril piercings instead of one (it didn’t take much, he said that they would be easier to get aligned and paired piercings go for a cheaper price than getting them both separate) and were very price-considerate about jewelry. Kelly was super helpful and checked out a tiny bump in my nose to make sure it was able to be pierced before I got them done and was super accommodating. She let me take a break in between, and even helped wipe off a tear that I shed when I got my nose pierced (I could use this in every day life LMAO). Such sweet and amazing people who are great at what they do. Tons of amazing jewelry pieces and the vibe was just exceptional. It was worth every penny and I will be back soon for more piercings.

The workers were all super nice and it was really clean and cute environment. You also get to keep a cute lil skin pen which was great and they helped me out when I didn’t have enough cash. It’s been almost a week and my piercing hasn’t had any complications (e.g. infection).

Hands down the best piercing experience I’ve had so far. The studio was clean and welcoming and the staff were super friendly and informative. I got my lobes re-pierced after years of not wearing any earrings. I had previously had gun-type lobe piercings at both Claire’s and the jewelry counter at Walmart when I was a teen. (I’ve also gotten other piercings at piercing studios.) While this visit cost more than what I spent as a teen, the quality of jewelry and piercing is so much better (and worth it!). In previous piercings, I dealt with perhaps not aligned piercings (that made it hard to put an earring in), as well as metal reactions from the earrings used in the piercing gun. At Monarch, both staff members spent a good deal of time answering my questions and going over care(which has changed since I was a teen!), while the piercing itself was over before I knew it. I’m already loving having flat-back earrings and I’m super excited to be able to easily change the fronts. I literally can’t wait to get more piercings and bring my daughter here to get her ears pierced!!

Kelly and the guy at the desk (I didn’t get his name) were super nice the guy at the desk was super helpful and nice making my mom and me feel super comfortable and relaxed I was a little bit nervous when I got there because it was all settling in and when it was time to choose my earring he helped me choose what kind of earring to get and helped my mom feel better about getting the earring that won’t mess with my allergies. And when Kelly got there she was nice and made me feel better about getting the piercing she answered the questions I asked and gave me helpful information about what I had asked. I got a daith piercing it was a great piercing she did an amazing job and I love it. She was super gentle and told me everything that was going on. They both were just great overall and if I’m ever getting another piercing I will surely go to them

I went in for a Septum piercing, my first body piercing, yesterday and could not have had a better experience. Kelly walked me through everything from how she was going to sterilize her equipment to what to expect from the piercing and and healing process. She and the host at the front desk made me feel incredibly comfortable from the moment I walked in,and Im confident that I got the highest quality piercing possible. I got both of my nostrils pierced in my hometown and struggled to heal them for almost a year. At the suggestion of a piercer I knew through social media, I drove to Monarch from AL and saw Kelly. She took her time evaluating my piercings and explaining to me what was going on. After changing out the jewelry, both nostrils started healing within a week. I drove back to Monarch again from AL to get my septum pierced and had another perfect experience! I HIGHLY recommend Monarch to anyone looking to get pierced and will only see Kelly in the future.

Thanks to a google ad I found Kelly, and her staff at monarch piercing in hixon (almost 45 minutes away for me). Kelly and her staff took the time to listen to all of my concerns, and answer my questions in detail. Even though they were busy I did NOT feel like I was waiting in-line at the doctors to be poked and sent on my way. Kelly made sure I was informed of everything that she was doing, and that I was comfortable before during and after.It’s now a week later, my ears are healing well, and haven’t had any discomfort.I would recommend Kelly her staff to anyone that may be looking for a piercing.

I received two piercings at Monarch after they reopened since the pandemic began. They are doing everything they can to be sanitary and it really shows. Yes, this place is more expensive than other piercing places so do keep that in mind, but it is WELL worth the price. My piercings from here have healed the quickest without any issues and the least amount of pain, and the piercer Kelly takes her time to align your jewelry symmetrically with your body and she uses jewelry sizes that work with you anatomy. Seriously, nowhere else in the area cares like these people do. GO 👏HERE👏👏👏

The staff is terrific about explaining the many choices for jewelry, the process of the piercing and how to take care of it. Both gentlemen were very personable and I will be back. Got a foward helix piercing from Kelly at the tattoo expo, she did a great job with the placement of the jewelry and the piercing experience itself! Kelly and Rhett are my new go-to piercers. Ive been recommending them to everyone I know! My boyfriend wanted to get me a new top to my nostril stud, and we first looked around Atlanta since thats where I live. We didnt really find much that interested me, and I figured Chattanooga might have better options. I found Monarch through Goggle, and we made a pitstop there during our vacation across TN. Im so glad we did! I got a beautiful new nose piece, and I loved their service so much that I came back a week later to get a new piercing and more ear studs. I will definitely be making the 2 hour drive back for all my jewelry and piercing needs.

I had my navel done here a couple weeks ago and loved the experience! Morgan was a guest piercer at Monarch and did amazingly. He walked me through the process and helped me choose the correct jewelry for a new piercing. I really appreciated the sterile procedure and care that was taken of me. He answered all questions I had and walked me through Monarchs piercing process. After reading tons of reviews on multiple piercing studios, I finally picked Monarch. I went in to get my nipples pierced, and was a little disappointed when I found out only men were working that day. I planned to pick out some jewelry and come back another day, but the staff was so welcoming that I decided to go ahead and get pierced. My piercer had such a great bedside manner that I was never uncomfortable throughout the entire process. I can’t even say that for some of my simple piercings from other shops!! I went to Monarch Body Piercing to get my septum pierced and afterwards to get my jewelry switched out. Both times I visited my experiences were great. The shop itself is beautiful with interesting decor and tons of jewelry to choose from. The staff are the best asset of the business in my opinion. Theyre friendly, personable, and make sure you are comfortable. :) I wouldnt recommend going anywhere else for a piercing but here!

Am extremly happy with the service i got. As soon as i walked in was welcomed and they helped me. Everything was super clean and sterile. Kelly was amazing watched her put everything into the autoclave to be sterile and then she opened it only after she put sterile gloves on. Im so happy with it. I noticed their shop as I was going to another business nearby. I thought how cool, a shop just for piercings! Had to check it out. Beautiful selection of high quality jewelry. Richard was very knowledgeable & helpful. I ended up replacing an inexpensive nose ring with one of theirs, a white gold clear stone stud. What a difference! You can definitely tell the difference in quality. Now I am thinking of a couple more piercings I need to replace. I will be back!

Upon entering the establishment I was completely in awe of the decor and set up of the jewelry. The place is absolutely stunning to look at and easy to browse. Everything was clean and tidy, she even has a fridge stocked with juice and snacks for those who get woozy or light headed after piercings.Kelly was so incredibly helpful with choosing and helping me decide what to do. I originally went in for a labret (settling) and with some convincing to do what I actually wanted to do we decided for the vertical labret. She helped me with jewelry selection for the most discreet option due to my job, and altered the metal to be a closer color to skin. She was incredibly patient with me and let me tell you, I am frustratingly indecisive.The piercing process was very quick, clean, and as painless as a needle through your lip could be. Swelling was incredibly minimal and zero swelling and pain the next day. I cant say this experience will be the same for everyone but she absolutely knows what she is doing and Id recommend her to anyone who wants to get a piercing.

Very friendly and professional. The jewelry is a bit pricey but you pay for quality. Their equipment is strictly single use, down to the marker they use on your skin. If you want your childs ears pierced by someone other than a teenager in the mall but youre uncomfortable with a tattoo studio, this place is perfect. I dont think ill ever go anywhere else for my piercings.

I recently got my anti-tragus pierced here and the experience was amazing, very professional and by far the best piercing experience I’ve ever had. Staff was so kind and helpful and worked with me on deciding exactly what piercing I wanted (I had picked out jewelry i was in LOVE with and then decided here to put it)On top of this, I ran into an issue with my jewelry from bumping my piercing during a workout, and when I called for help/advice they were more helpful than I could have hoped for. I currently live in Florida so I couldn’t come back in to get it fixed and they called my local shop for me to talk to them about what I needed and about my jewelry to make sure my piercing is able to heal well. Officially my favorite shop.

Excellent customer service! I spent a long time looking online for good piercing shops around the Chattanooga area. Monarch Body Piercings was one of the first results. They had a beautiful website which contained all of their information and Prices (something you apparently dont find very often) and they seemed super nice. I continued to look around for other shops just in case, but nothing I found even came close to comparing with Monarch.Monarch Body Piercings was exceptionally clean and neat, and their APA certification was like the cherry on the top. They have a large variety of beautiful jewelry on display for you to look at if the piercer is talking to someone else at the moment. My friend and I went for a consult about her (possibly infected) recent ear piercings and even though they were done by another Shop, the guy at Monarch took great interest in examining her ears and explaining how to take care of them and avoid infection.This is definately the best piercing Shop I have ever been to and I will forever rave about Monarch Body Piercings to my friends and fellow Yelpers. I cannot wait to come back and get my navel pierced at this location, having peace of mind that I chose the best place.

I have called several shops with questions/concerns about my nipple piercings and most shops seemed to not care/seemed bothered by me even calling. When I called Monarch there was no answer and I decided not to leave a voicemail, that did not stop them. I was called back within 5 minutes and spoke with a woman who made it very clear that my concerns were not silly, and that if I needed help changing the piercings they would be more than happy to assist me in shop. I havent even walked in the store yet, but I am already blown away by the customer service that I have received. Very exited to go in today.

Ok, so let me preface this by saying I have never had any piercing whatsoever. I knew nothing about the different types jewelry you could put in said piercing. I really wanted to get my ears pierced and possibly stretch in the future. I was able to call in an appointment and walk in and have a good discussion about my options, I decided to get a 10 gauge and just your average 14 gauge on each ear. Kelly was EXTREMELY professional, she has really worked hard to create an atmosphere where YOU feel comfortable getting your piercing. She knows what she is doing too, she shows you all the steps she is taking to sanitize her equipment as well as share her passion for what she does with all of the cool little details. She also took the time to make sure I didnt see any needles whatsoever, that doesnt really bother me, but for those that it does, they have you covered. This is the place to get your piercings, if you want a low pressure, positive atmosphere, with someone who REALLY pays attention to detail and will go above and beyond to make sure you are happy, and not cut ANY corners whatsoever, this is the place for you! If you dont believe me just walk in the door or check out their website, and they will make it clear how friendly and professional they are. Not to mention they have a perfect score with health and sanitation posted right by the front desk. Seriously you cant beat them, I wouldnt trust anyone else for piercings, Monarch is the place to go.

I researched for 2 years to find a safe place to bring my 10 year old to get her ears pierced. I didnt want to expose her to a tattoo parlor and the guns at the mall kiosk cant be completely sterilized. This place is amazing!Why:➡️Everything is super sterilized and the tools used are never used twice. They even use an enclave to sterilize the jewelry.➡️The jewelry is ASTM f136 implant grade titanium. The stuff the use to fix bones and stuff. Its expensive but way worth it.➡️Staff was super professional, patient (my daughter is 10) and tender. They spend more time making sure the holes are where you want them (we moved our marked area 3 times). Then she spent 15 minutes making sure my daughter knew how to take care of them.➡️ Follow up - they want us to come back in 6 weeks for a free follow up to make sure everything healed correctly.➡️Its not a tattoo parlor - not that there is anything wrong with a tattoo parlor. I really wasnt ready to expose my kids to that yet!I would highly recommend them to any parent or adult wanting a professionally done piercing.Update 8/2018:A year later, and I decided to get my nose pierced. I truly believe that the people their are the absolute best at want they do and are so professional. Sterilized everything and walked me through my being scared of needless. I recommend them to everyone.

Dont go here. I went to get nipple piercings and thought I was getting the highest quality. Said the piercings were titanium and hang made. Thats why I was paying 80$ just the the jewelry and 65 for the piercing. She said I should not get any reaction because of what there made out of and said I need a 10 Guage because of the size of my nipples. I took care of them like she said and 13 months later there still not healed and hurt all the time. Went to freedom tattoo and had them look at it and they told me there not titanium there stainless steal. Asked me if I was alergic to nickel which I am. Stainless steal has nickel in it. The jewelry was changing colors and went the freedom tattoo piercer look at it the inside of the piercing turned green and said if I had them Im for much longer it would of broke off and stayed in the nipple. And the Guage was way to big.Basically monarch lied about everything to make money. Didnt care about the customer.

Way overpriced. A $40 service fee on top of the price of the ring, which is minimum another $40 per ring. Very clean and well maintained shop, but no other shop Ive ever heard of would charge a separate service fee - that typically goes towards the price of the ring, which also usually comes in a set and not as an individual ring. Will not get another piercing here.

Even though my visit was brief, the employees that were there were incredibly kind and helpful, as well as the professionalism that was shown while I was helped was very comforting. The shop itself was very clean and beautiful. They have such a large collection of beautiful jewelry, I think the only problem would be choosing which one you want!
