Studio 222

My friend and I went in to get matching tattoos, however, my friend was finished 5 minutes before I was and paid $150 for her tattoo, while I had to pay $225. They were the EXACT SAME STENCIL. We were not made aware of how much the tattoos would be or that each artist had different “hourly rates” otherwise, we would’ve just used the same artist. They did a good job on the tattoos but I will definitely not be back.

This is a super great place. I love Haile, their piercer. Shes very nice and gentle and makes sure your piercing is placed where you want it. Shes done two of my piercings so far, and Ill definitely continue going here for all my piercing desires.

I am in Chattanooga on vacation and felt so connected that I wanted to get a tattoo. I walked into Studio 222 without an appointment to see if they had any openings. I met with Campbell and set up an appointment for the next day. She took my idea and after drawing it up emailed it over to me. After a few minor changes (that she was happy to do) it was exactly what I wanted. When I went to the appointment it was professional, clean and Campbell took the time to make sure the placement was just right. The whole process was fun and the conversation was easy. I highly recommend Campbell for her artistry, professionalism and ability to connect with her clients.

My sister, wife, and I took my mom to get a memorial tattoo for my sister. We wanted to make sure the place we went offered the best experience for my mom as it was her first tattoo and super important that the artist was able to do something special for us. That is when we found Jaleen at Studio 222. Jaleen was super professional and has a very steady hand. He was so gentle with my mom and made the experience for her top notch. Not only that, but Jaleen is an amazing artist who we will make every effort to come back to when we want anything else done. And we live in Indiana.

Came to see Robert Barker for a flash tattoo and had a great experience! The shop was very spacious and clean. Robert did an amazing job with the tattoo and Im very happy with how it came out. Im definitely going to come back to him for future tattoos! Also, they have a lot of events on their Instagram page, like raffles and flash sales, which is really cool.

Emily was amazing! We made a last minute appointment for my friends birthday. We were all a tad nervous because we had a bad experience with a piercer before back in South Carolina. We messaged her through Instagram after researching throughout the weekend, while we were in Chattanooga. She was able to work us in! I got a daith and two cartilage piercings on my left ear to match the same piercings on my right ear. My other two friends got a mixture of conch, lobe, and cartilage piercings as well. She took the time to make sure everything was even and was very nice and calming. She even gave us aftercare solution, and a paper with helpful information and jewelry size. She used threadless jewelry and showed us how to use it as well. I definitely recommend Emily. The environment was nice as well!

I got a tattoo along with 3 of my friends from Robert Barker. He was incredible! Not only did he do an amazing job on my tattoo, he also made me feel very safe and talked me through the process. By the end we were all friends and cracking jokes. Best experience I’ve had at a tattoo parlor so far!

I love Studio 222- it is clean, comfy, and has a great feel and vibe. This is the third time Ive been here. I previously had my septum pierced with Emily and I love it! Jaleen did my tattoo this time, and I was so impressed. He was so so so nice and helped me create a plan that would work for my space, design, and budget. Studio 222 is amazing and Jaleen is an outstanding professional artist. He has blessed me with two of the most beautiful tattoos. The first is a memorial piece for my sister and another memorial piece for my grandmother. He suggested the drop shadows and highlights to help show depth and just makes the piece stand out so beautifully. I live in Indiana and will continue coming to Jaleen at Studio 222 in Chattanooga for all of my future tattoos. He is just sooo talented. A+++++

Haile pierced my daughters ears (her first piercings!) and she made the whole experience welcoming and relaxing. Zero complaints from my 7 year old. No tears! The homemade mixture they give you to spray on the piercings daily worked like a charm. Would recommend to anyone wanting to get pierced, and definitely for a kid for the first time (pro-needle Mom here, no piercing guns on my kids ears!). Thank you!

My partner got her first tattoo from Dacia for her birthday in May 2021. Dacia was so kind and helpful that when my partner decided two years later to get another tattoo to honor her three daughters, we found Dacia, who was now at Studio 222, and went up to Chattanooga again. Dacia of course did another outstanding job, and I got a tattoo myself from Alejandro, who did absolutely outstanding work as well—the general design I chose was fairly simple, but even within that simple framework his artistry and detail work were amazing. We left the studio that afternoon feeling like wed known them both forever, and I can confidently state that anytime we decide to get additional ink done in the future, we will always be coming back to 222—no matter how far from Chattanooga we are or how long it takes to get there.

I had the opportunity to get my nipples pierced by Emily & I would like to say I am VERY impressed. Emily was very thorough in making sure the placement was correct, straight & symmetrical. Emily talked to me throughout the whole process & was telling me exactly what she was going to do prior to doing it so I wasn’t surprised by anything. Emily made me feel so comfortable & not once did I have a bad interaction with her. Emily also checked on me throughout the whole process making sure I was okay, not in too much pain & even offered to get me a water if needed. The entire team was extremely warm, welcoming, and they all had a great sense of humor. A friend of mine got a piercing, and I got a tattoo. We both loved the results that Eco Conscious Ink delivered for us. The crew here, on top of being cool and friendly people, welcomed us with delicious snacks and coffee. Most all of the refreshments they offered were vegan as well! The aesthetic of the shop was great as well, being both very well-decorated and extremely clean. I recommend Eco Conscious to anyone looking for a relaxing, clean, professional tattoo shop. I’ve had tattoos and piercings done here and I honestly couldn’t be happier with them. Shelly does an amazing job making sure you are 100% happy with your tattoo before it goes onto your body permanently and gives great insight on what will look the best as the ink ages and stretches. Hannah made me feel so comfortable when doing my piercing and made the whole process a lot less stressful. Both are great for conversation too!

The studio was very chill, clean, spacious enough that it felt a bit private even with plenty of people there. Robert was a blast to work with - in addition to doing such a good job on my tattoo, he is obviously good with people and made the whole session fly by. Dacia just covered up a regrettable tattoo that I impulsively had done at another shop by a different artist! It was a huge dark lady bug, yet she managed to cover it all the way up with her beautiful flowers! Shelley tattooed a lotus flower on my spine, and Mike tattooed a big sun on my thigh. Every artist that has tattooed me so far is kind, takes their time, and makes my experience feel special. They’re clean, welcoming, easy to contact, and eco conscious! I love this shop so so much and I strongly recommend ANY artist there!

I recently got three piercings done by Wendy (Nose, Helix and Daith). I was EXTREMELY impressed with her attention to detail including proper placement of holes to balance what looks best on each client! Shelley Turner pierced my labret a few weeks ago, and the whole process to present has been a great experience. I was seen promptly at my appointment time, everything was extremely sanitary and professional, and The piercing itself was honestly practically painless it was so smooth and efficient. She gave me her business card and made herself available to switch my rings out during the off days of swelling occurred. Unfortunately I lost the number, and took my lip ring out :( when I went on Thursday when they opened and explained what happened, she was very empathetic, and re-gauged my lip, put new jewelry in and didn’t even charge me, when she rightfully could have. I am so appreciative of This experience, and the service I received! Front desk always very friendly and helpful as well. This was my first facial piercing and first time at eco conscious and i recommend to everyone!

Clean work | Clean linesEco was suggested as a place to have a great first experience getting a tattoo and it turned out to be true. While we ended up having to reschedule once, it was worth the wait. Great artist and great work. The photo attached just doesnt do it justice how clean the lines are. It ended up being a bit more expensive than we thought it would cost but better that than getting a piece that you end up regretting.

I got my ears pierced here and it was a great experience. The wait was so nice and comfortable (snacks and netflix! What is this, heaven???) and the staff was genuinely kind and friendly. Wendy did a great job piercing both my and my friends ears. Shes very careful, thoughtful and gentle, and everything is incredibly clean. Went in to get my first tattoo done a few days after I turned 18. I chose the shop because of the countless amazing reviews I read online and decided to leave my own because this shop lives up to the hype! Dacia greeted me up front immediately. The lobby area was nice and comfortable and they had a few card games to play while you waited. They have separate tattoo rooms and all are very clean and sterile. Dacia worked with me on how I wanted my tattoo placed/how I wanted it to look and shared stories with me and talked to me throughout the experience. She was very sweet and did an amazing job! I received a tattoo from Kishan at studio 222 today and it came out amazing. He is very knowledgeable and cares about how your tattoo will look for years to come. We came to decisions together and communicated for me to get the best piece I’ve gotten so far. He’s great with detail, line work, shading, and black work. It was a vintage illustration and he was able to get all the original details - thank you Kishan!! I’ll be coming back for more pieces from him.

Y’all this is easily the best piercing experience I’ve had. The shop is super professional and welcoming. The piercer, Wendy, took time with me to make sure I got exactly what I wanted and what would look good with my ears. The owner of the shop, Shelly, then gave me her personal cell phone number and Instagram page to make sure I could get in touch with her if I had any questions. I also got hugs from both when it was finished. Seriously great experience. Can’t recommend them enough.

This is probably the cleanest tattoo parlor I have ever seen. The people who work here are super well-informed and they know how to treat their clients right. The girl who did my piercing here (Morgan) was super friendly and super good at her job. Also, the price reasonable; it was cheap enough for me to not feel cheated but not not so cheap where I thought I was going to get an infection later. This place is a 12/10 and I highly recommend it to anyone who wants a tattoo/piercing.

Zac was absolutely amazing and I would let him tattoo anything on me! The shop was super clean, the atmosphere was awesome. I felt so comfortable and my tattoo looks amazing. It has a very close meaning to me and he executed everything I couldve wanted.

I was nervous about taking my 17-year-old to get her nose pierced for her birthday. Wendy and the staff at Eco Conscious Ink totally exceeded my expectations! The staff was friendly and courteous. A group of my friends and I came in without appointments around 10pm to get piercings. As soon as we walked in the aesthetic of the shop and the two people working made me feel welcomed. It gave off a cool, modern, eco-friendly vibe. Seven of us wanted different piercings and the piercer, Wendy, was professional and extremely clean as she got us all done in less than 2 hours. She was very knowledgeable on what she was doing and talked each person through the process. I felt like I was just hanging out with a friend. The piercing turned out perfect and I could not be happier!!I also got a tattoo by Kiishan right after the piercing. Same thing. Very friendly, professional, knowledgeable, clean, and comfortable. A lot of times when I go into tattoo shops, I feel very out of place, or am made to feel like a ding dong or I’m just an inconvenience. But Kiishan made me feel like he was happy to be there and happy to be putting his artwork on my arm forever. He also asked for my input on some of the minor details to make sure it was exactly what I wanted. It turned out better than I could have imagined.To sum it up… I am just in town visiting a friend before I go back home to Arkansas, but I will make it my mission to go see Kiishan and Emily every time I’m in town in the future. Went in for my daughter to get a couple of ear piercings and left with one of my own. The shop is super cute, very clean and a relaxed vibe. Wendy the piercer is the sweetest, she took her time to explain everything, answered all of our questions and makes you feel comfortable instantly. This is a family run shop and once you enter you become family too, 10/10 would recommend and will return!!

I came in today for a nose piercing and they were SUPER kind and helpful in getting it done! My husband and 3 year old boy came in and they gave our son lemonade, snacks, and turned on Netflix... he didn’t want to leave! 🤣 I loved their design style of the studio! Me and my friend went to get pierced. The online booking was easy, the forms were online so we didnt have to worry about them and our piercer was super nice. He was also supper funny and working with him felt like hanging out. He wasnt 100% about a couple of things and he wasnt afraid to pull someone else to ask questions. I would much prefer that then them not being done right. It was a very pleasant experience and we had a lot of fun.

This is the cleanest, most aesthetically pleasing Tattoo & Piercing Shop I’ve ever visited. The employees are true professionals and VERY sanitary! I went to them to see if they could look at my daughters new piercing from another shop that wasn’t doing so well, because the other shop didn’t help when we returned for help.The young lady who helped knew so much. She knew that the other shop has used the incorrect stubs, the stems were too short & the piercing had become infected. She cleaned my daughters ear & used the correct hardware. The male employee gave us their shop-made concoction for her to clean the piercing site, clear the infection, and avoid keloids. Then the piercing expert gave my daughter proper education on care.Not only do I hope their business stays around, but I hope they grow and prosper! I absolutely love the tribute tattoo she did for my late Grandmother. She perfectly encapsulated the love for hummingbirds and our favorite flowers to plant. I will always come back to Shelly.In addition to that, I love how clean and inviting the shop is. I was tired of dingy “typical” tattoo parlors that we’re dark gross and unsanitary. My son got his first tattoo today and Eco was recommended to us and I see why. Not only was it faster than Ive ever seen a tattoo laid down, Mike took time to explain aftercare and where to find more information. He was concerned with comfort during the process and took breaks, offered water and explained each step. Unrelated to the tattoo, I was stung by a wasp in my own car and he even gave me a witch hazel pad. The tattoo looks AMAZING. GO SEE THIS MAN.

A few friends and I knew we wanted to get tattoos in Chattanooga. I called Standard Ink first, and thank goodness they did not have any openings for the night we requested. That led me to find Eco Conscious Ink, and I am beyond happy that I did. Just like the other reviews say, the staff is very friendly, warm, and accommodating. The shop stayed open late to finish all of the tattoos in our friend group. Do yourself a favor and come here if you want to get tattooed or pierced!

I called after work to inquire about a piercing. I was treated professionally, placed on hold while the staff checked if I could be squeezed in. I was given a time of 6:15 and upon arrival was greeted courteously and promptly.The inside is immaculately designed and painted. It has a homey feeling with the open layout and plants. The rooms were cleaned so thoroughly that I would have felt comfortable letting my nephews crawl around on the floor.Shelly was my piercer and explained everything to me in a way that was easy to understand, even though I have so many visible piercings. She made sure to answer all of my questions. I had gotten my daith pierced at a different shop the day before and she cleaned that wound for me as well. While doing so she informed me that the piercing was a little shallow and to look out for thinning of the skin. She stated that if I noticed anything off about it to call and they would help me care for it. The same for the tragus piercing she did for me.They offer a wonderful salt spray with lavender, Himalayan sea salt, and CBD oil. The smell is wonderful and immediately upon spraying it onto my ear it felt better. There is a ton of swelling, but I always swell.I felt so comfortable in the shop. Not rushed or judged as in other shops I’ve been in. The staff is amazing and I cannot wait to visit them in the future for tattoos and other piercings!10/10 would recommend.

I had originally planned on getting pierced at a different shop. I went to go get food, and stumbled upon this place. I walked in, spoke to Morgan, and 45min later I walked out a happy girl.My anxiety was high when I walked in. I was nervous, but due to the atmosphere of the shop, I soon was overcome with relaxation and had no worried. When you walk in it feels a little more like a yoga studio or massage place. Calming music is playing, and the place smells good and is super super clean. I appreciated every thing about this shop and will return if I find my way back to Chattanooga!

Best tattoo experience Ive ever had! This is a wonderful family tattoo shop! First interaction was with cousin Rami who is the jack of all trades! He saw me pull up with my car making a loud noise from something hanging off of it and told me how to fix it. He later talks to my wife giving her recommendations about where we should go on our upcoming trip to Spain. Dacia, my tattoo artist was so attentive to my needs. She showed me her drawings, we worked together to adjust the drawings to my specifications. We went into her room (each artist has their own spacious room) and she asked me what I wanted to listen to and she literally put on the perfect music playlist for me. She checked in continuously to see how I was doing throughout the process. The shop is the brightest, cleanest tattoo shop Ive ever been to. After the tattoo was complete, they even GAVE me their own tattoo balm and soap that they make for FREE! I mean, the crossed every T and dotted every I! Oh, and the tattoo is great! I really cant say enough about this place. Our friend who came in from Nashville was even so impressed after talking to Rami for a while that she is coming back to get work done here. YOU MUST GO to this place! The service and talent is impeccable! Lovely people, lovely place. Not an air of pretense! This is my go to place and the place I will recommend to anyone looking for a tattoo in the tri-state area!

Havent seen anything like this, beautiful clean lobby, private rooms, glad to see they have an autoclave and cleaning stations all over. The last thing you want from a tattoo or piercing is an infection, they clearly take clients health seriously. First we checked the instagram, and were intrigued by the intricacy of the work. My wife was the first to make an appointment. When the day came, we traveled to the shop which is right next to Taco Mamacita in the North Shore area. Walking in we were blown away by how nice the facility is. They have the kind of furnishings and finish work you see in a nice home. Then we were struck by the immediate hospitality and thoughtfulness. Friendly, helpful staff made all manner of snack and drink available as well as control of one of the multiple internet connected T.Vs. When Shelly the owner and artist working on my wife showed us the custom piece she had drawn for my wife I did not understand how she intended to recreate on skin the detailed and delicate work i saw on the paper. Needless to say, 3 hours later i was blown away. Nothing was lost in translation. And the time we spent with her was comfortable and breezy. She is a natural at conversation and we were completely disarmed in no time. Totally relaxed and at home. We have made a friend. Safety and cleanliness are top notch. Since then we have both been back. I also sat for a 3 hour piece and was again blown away with the originality, craft, and care of the work. My wifes second time she worked with Dacia who is also amazing. We have had tattoos all up and down the east coast between us and we are sold on this singularly unique and warm experience. Do your self a favor and go work with this incredible shop.

Got my daith pierced. Piercer gave me a two for one special and went through my rook on accident. Wouldn’t recommend for complicated piercings

I looked for weeks trying to find a local tattoo place with good reviews and I couldnt find not one around me then I came across Eco had alot of reviews that were all good.I did have to drive a hour away to get there but every review on this place is definitely accurate it was wroth the drive.

Ive never been to such an amazing shop, a definite 20/10!!!!!! I will never go anywhere else!! Ive gotten a total of 5 piercings and 1 tattoo done here and i absolutely love it!!!!!!!
