Everything was easy from the online appointment setting to choosing jewelry to the septum piercing itself. It’s true what they say, septum hurts less than nostril. Maddie the piercer was fantastic. Talked me through every part of the process and while I’m not anxious around needles, I appreciate the extra care and it will be much appreciated by future clients. My friend up front, I am so sorry I didn’t ask your name or know your pronouns but you assured me you would not get me a door knocker if I didn’t want one 😂 I felt so welcomed and like I was hanging out with friends. Piercing costs are standard. Jewelry costs reflect the quality of the jewelry so keep that in mind when booking. Street parking varies depending on day/times but I went on Sunday early afternoon and had no trouble finding parking. Thanks so much for everything. It’s healing perfectly and looks so cute!!

Juice and Oscar are awesome!!! I got a double nostril piercing and they came out awesome. The atmosphere in the shop is super welcoming and cozy. Oscar is an amazing piercer, he talked me through the process while also keeping things light. Juice is great at welcoming you into the shop and easing you into the piercing process. I highly recommend this shop!

Cannot say enough good things about iris. I came in with a friend and was greeted by Juice, who was super friendly and helped us pick jewelry. Oscar did our piercings and was AMAZING. Clearly he knew his stuff and he had a very calm and reassuring presence. All three piercings we got between the two of us look awesome. The space was clean and the walls are covered with the piercers’ combined certifications (nice to see). If I need any other piercings done, I will be coming back to Oscar at Iris.

I have gotten two piercings from Iris Piercing and had the most wonderful, comfortable experience both times. Juice is so welcoming and makes you feel right at home the second you walk through the door! She helped me pick out jewelry that I love! Maddie is the best piercing I’ve ever worked with! It had been almost ten years since I’d gotten a piercing and Maddie made the whole process feel so easy and pain-free! She gave me so much great advice on placement and aftercare and I am so thankful that I got to work with her! I’m already planning my next piercing and will 100% be booking with Maddie again!

Juice and maddie were lovely!! i booked my appointment for an anti-tragus and ended up having extra time to jewelry shop. juice was so funny and helped me pick out the perfect pieces for my rook and septum. i was nervous for the anti-tragus piercing but maddie was very professional and calming and the process went smoothly and without much pain at all! immediately after i left my appointment i called my friend to tell her it was the best piercing experience i’ve ever had. i cannot say enough about my positive experience with iris chicago, juice, and maddie.

Got my nostrils pierced! Super friendly people here! Placing an appointment online with thier appointment guidelines makes it easy to book and know whats going on, any questions they always answer fast! The jewelry they offer is a pretty big variety and they provide almost any service! This is definitely going to be my new piercing place :)

My wife and I came here to replace our nose rings. Oscar was very pleasant and knew what he was talking about. He helped us replace our nose rings and did it quick and painless. Id definitely recommend coming here for jewelry, too.

Went here to get my nose repierced after it closed and had a great experience! Juice was very friendly and helped me pick out the jewelry. Maddie did my piercing and was great at making me feel comfortable. The whole process was fun and I would definitely come here again.

I had an appointment this Saturday afternoon, I was ~10 minutes late and they had me in and out in under 20 minutes. Amazing, fast and affordable downsizing for a healed nostril piercing and eyebrow piercing. I would recommend them for any piercing service!

I went to IRIS with a couple of girlfriends to get my ears re-pierced (very old holes from childhood that had mostly closed up). We had such a delightful time picking out jewels from IRISs beautiful options. Juice was so helpful, putting together some ideas for me to choose from and she created a custom option by combining a stud with a sparkly chain that wraps around my lobe -- its gorgeous! Maddie did the actual piercing and she was so professional, personable, and calming. She was able to open up one of my holes (just needed a little professional help), which was a pleasant surprise. The actual piercing of my other ear was quick and just felt like a little pinch. Delightful experience and Im already planning on going back to IRIS for second holes soon!

Wished I found this place before I got my daith and tragus. Customer service was top notch, yes it is a pricey place compare to others but I rather pay a good price to get my piercing done correctly. Unfortunately, I was recommended to remove my daith as it was done improperly. Will definitely be a returning customer. I got two lobe and a flat piercing. Changed the jewelry on my tragus as well. Still in the healing process.

Seeing that 2024 is the year of the maximalist ear I wanted to up my current ear story of 5 piercings in even rows and do something cool, interesting and edgy without being so out there that it screams I love piercings! during business meetings.I cannot tell you how incredible my Sunday afternoon experience was with Juice and Maddie. I came in with my own thoughts, images and ideas and they built upon those with their own expertise to give me something well above my expectations!Of course, the space is clean, well-lit and the staff professional and personable - I like to think these are givens in specialized boutiques such as this (though I know it is not always the case!) - but this is so much more than that - it is a bespoke experience individually created for each guest.Juice is a genius at putting together a palette of stunning jewelry options and a master at editing and helping to select just the right pieces without being pushy.Maddie is seasoned and knowledgeable with a calm demeanor who took the time to explain every single step she was taking along the way.I cannot say enough about my experience with Maddie, Juice and Iris in Lincoln Park. Highly recommended!

I could not have picked a better shop!! They were very welcoming and I felt comfortable immediately. Ali was my piercer who was professional and patient with showing me different jewelry/sizes. I was indecisive with what I wanted and they quickly figured out exactly what I wanted. I was in/out within 30 minutes and street parking was just $2!The eyebrow was definitely the LEAST painful piercing I’ve ever had - I’m still shocked lol! Ali was quick and made me laugh during it, which is always nice. Highly recommend everyone to come here!! They are *very slightly* more pricier than other shops but way worth it for me. I spent $86 total (without tip) versus $60-70 elsewhere & risking it. Definitely coming back!

I literally cant say enough about Iris and their staff. The quality of jewelry is excellent- beautiful little space. The staff calmed me and explained the whole process in detail. I felt so confident in their hands. What a lovely experience!!

AN AMAZING PIERCING PLACE, IFFY STAFF.I love this place, I recommend to any friend or stranger thinking of getting pierced. Over a decade of research and word of mouth led me here. The piercers are great and know what they’re doing. I’m usually met with kindness and good vibes. They’re very educated and know their craft.This place is very progressive in the sense that their COVID policies are serious and they don’t pierce minors. I commend them.I am unsure why people are complaining about prices… sure, you’re entitled to your own opinion. But they’re making holes in your body and you need quality metal and trained professionals to do so. The metal that’s good isn’t going to be cheap. Being pretty ain’t pretty! They’re also very transparent about prices. The gallery assistant always checks in with me about the prices during my visit.My only critique and the reason I didn’t put five stars is the staff. I’ve had very mixed experiences! Kind people, cool people. I’ve also had times where they don’t let me in when I’m there in time. And rude piercers saying stuff like “I asked if you’re ready or not.” Body modifications requires patience and giving grace. I’m not one of those the customer is always right Karen’s, but cmon you’re holding a needle over me and being rude?Four stars!

Very clean and well-lit studio that specializes in piercings. Oscar was my piercer, he provided insight into placement and what would match well with my existing piercings. He was open and receptive to all questions/concerns I had! Juice was very warm and welcoming, I appreciated the transparency and professionalism. I was made aware of the price before any piercing was done, so no surprises at the end. Highly recommend checking them out!

Ive visited a couple of times in the past and continue to go back because it is always a wonderful experience. Most recently I booked an appointment for an ear styling, as I had several things I wanted to accomplish. I had the pleasure of working with Juice and Maddie and am thrilled with my results. We changed out some jewelry in some older piercings, checked on a couple of more recent piercings that were giving me trouble, and added a couple of brand new piercings. Both Juice and Maddie were absolutely lovely and made my appointment so easy and enjoyable. They were kind, friendly, attentive, and offered great suggestions for jewelry and placement of the new piercings based on what I already had and what I liked. Im delighted with my new piercings and jewelry and highly recommend visiting IRIS to see Juice and Maddie.

My friend and I came here to troubleshoot piercings we got somewhere else. We were greeted by Juice who was so extremely nice and friendly. She made us feel so comfortable and reassured us that they would be able to help with our piercings. I will say that the prices for earrings are not labeled and she did have to look them up. She happily looked up any prices we asked though. It is on the more expensive side but the jewelry is absolutely beautiful and really unique. Ali, the piercer was also so caring, informative, and helpful. They explained everything they were doing and we left really happy. I would highly recommend this place to anyone!!

Omg I love coming to Iris. The vibes are immaculate, the jewelry spectacular, and the staff is amazing. Juice, Maddie, and Ali are all wonderful and always answer my questions and have great recommendations for jewelry whenever I ask.I’ve been to a couple of other studios but Iris is by far the best I’ve been to. I won’t go anywhere else to get a new piercing or service my current ones, they’re the only people I trust. Thank you Juice and Oscar for an amazing piercing experience. From the moment my friend and I walked in we were welcomed so warmly it felt like home. We both said we could have stayed all day to hang out. We both had our lives redone but I will be going back for many more jewelry changes and probably some more piercings. I went to get a conch piercing. Maddie was the artist and she’s amazing! It didn’t hurt much and she’s very articulate in telling you the steps. I also went for a post change after 2 months and it went so smoothly. I would recommend anyone who wants to get a piercing to go here.

I had an MRI appointment and totally forgot I had a nose ring. Needless to say I had to take it out, but when I went to put it back in, I couldnt get it in. So I quickly made an appointment at Iris. When I arrived I figured I might as well look at new ones while there. They were super helpful in showing me everything I wanted to see and also recommending ones they liked. I ended up purchasing one that they had shown me that I may not have picked myself. Didnt plan for any of this that day, but I couldnt have worked our better. They have a great, friendly, funny and helpful staff. Highly recommend Iris for your body piercing needs!

Seriously one of the best customer service experiences of my life. The stylist, Juice, was so friendly and helpful - had ideas ready to go when I walked in! Both Juice and the piercer, Oscar, made me feel so welcome and taken care of the whole time I was there. Plus it was so queer and trans friendly. I will definitely be back!

I came to Iris to get second earlobe piercings and a forward helix. If you go here you’ll likely have the privilege of being styled by Juice, who always makes me laugh and encourages your creativity and personal preferences/vision. I was pierced by Oscar and I couldn’t speak more highly of my experience; he was very professional and gentle yet efficient. I didn’t feel I’d undergone any unnecessary pain and I love my new doodads!

Been my go to piercing place. Wonderful experience with having my piercing done and great selection of jewelry. Till recently when a male employee was extremely rude to me. He definitely needs some customer service training. I don’t need to be treated in such a manner when there are other options in the area to spend $200 or more when I get pierced.

I’ve had three piercings done here and each one has been a great experience. Maddie and Juice are both so personable yet also so professional. I’ve had piercings done at tattoo shops before but would definitely recommend a piercing-specific studio for the best experience.

An excellent studio! Ali and Juice were not only very professional but also warm, funny, and chatty and were great at hyping me up throughout the entire process. Its definitely a higher-end shop and the prices reflect that, but it was absolutely worth the reassurance that I was in capable hands and my eyebrow piercing would be done correctly. Ali was also quick to answer my followup email and confirm that my piercing was healing normally. Looking forward to going back for my jewelry change!

I loved my experience at Iris! I worked with Ali to get my septum pierced, and they were kind, welcoming, and professional every step of the way. Iris Chicago also has an excellent selection of gold jewelry, and I’m a gold girlie through and through. The cleanest and most covid-safe piercing shop in the county. Ive always been able to get a reservation when Im in town. Maggie is extremely gracious and helpful. They really are interested in the health of your piercing and making sure you have an excellent experience!

Ive been a couple times for piercing and each time has been great! Amazing customer service and I felt that they really walked me through the entire process from which type of jewlery would look best and how they function, to the piercing itself. They made sure I felt comfortable and informed every step of the way.

Got my first ear piercing in… 20 years? The jewelry is expensive but it’s worth the price for the great service, expert piercer, and meaningful follow-up. Wishing I had just done two piercings on one ear to knock out the healing process faster, ha!

I wanted to preface this review but saying that I was born and raised in Lincoln Square. I have close ties with the community, and have good relationships with many of the small business owners in the area. I want nothing more than to see this neighborhood thrive, and I rarely ever leave a negative review unless it’s warranted.Today is Christmas Eve. I went on a stroll through the square with my 8 month year old son and partner. The square was very quiet due to the holiday, but the weather was really nice and this is our first Christmas with our son so we were in great spirits. I noticed IRIS was opened, and said to my partner that it would be exciting to get a new ear piercing. As a new mom I don’t get out much. We walked across the street to IRIS to see two employees through the window hanging out. I know that this business is by appointment so I scanned the barcode in the window to see that there was in fact a 3:30 appointment available. It was currently 3:07. I decided to wave one of the employees over and was greeted with an absolute Scrooge!When the door opened I simply made mention that I checked online and saw that a 3:30 was available. I wanted to know if it would be possible for us to come in early if they were available to do so. I asked kindly, and smiled. The woman has a huge attitude with us, rolled her eyes, and finally said “Fine!” I was so taken back by her rudeness that I acknowledged her visible frustration with us. She repeated “it’s fine!” At that point I was turned off and no longer wanted to give my $100 dollars to an unwelcoming business on a holiday, while I was with my sweet baby. I said Nevermind, and she said “ok” and just shut the door.This experience honestly had an impact on my day. It was uncalled for and rude. Did I mention it is Christmas Eve, the square was a ghost town? And I was with my baby? It totally sent me into a bad mood, and it was not okay. To this woman, you honestly should not be facing customers if this is how you treat people that are hoping to support your business. I will not be recommending this location, and I certainly will never be back again.

Iris Piercing Studio is filled with a bunch of absolute gems of humans. Super friendly, attentive, helpful, funny, and genuine piercers/ staff, each and every one of ‘em. And they’re good at what they do! I’ve gotten both tragus (traguses?!) and nostrils pierced here and they always do a fantastic job. They have a very cool and unique collection. My spouse and I have been to IRIS several times, and have only had great experiences. I only recommend this studio for piercing and safe piercing knowledge/education/practices. Ali worked with me (for my nose piercing) twice, and theyre so great- I really cant imagine a better piercer for me and my needs!

Made an appointment last week to get a 6 week old nostril piercing (I was not pierced at Iris) looked at since I was having some irritation bumps. Wanted to get a second opinion by a different piercer so I made a troubleshooting appointment. Making an appointment was pretty easy so I liked that and they had a lot of available times. When I got to the gallery, there were two employees there and they were both nice. Maddie was super helpful! After explaining to her what happened and her taking a look at my piercing, she was able to quickly give me a couple of possible reasons why I was having bumps. At Maddies guidance, we ended up having to take the piercing out (which sucks) so it can heal but I definitely am glad that I got that second opinion. She was understanding, helpful and provided lots of advice (and even took the time to write it down for me). If all goes well in 6-8 weeks, Im hoping to come back to Iris to get re-pierced. Thanks!

My partner wanted their ears pierced and I went with: this was such a wonderful experience!! Charlotte and Maddie were so kind, professional, and helpful. Who knew you can pick so many unique first time pieces these days?! Maddie was incredibly calming during the piercing, my partner felt very taken care of, and theyre so happy with how everything is healing. If I ever get a piercing again, I know where to go!

I visited Chicago this past weekend and was recommended by my bestie to go to Iris Piercing. I was able to make an appointment online, uploaded my vaccination card and was able to come in Saturday evening. Juice was amazing and so sweet! She helped me pick out a gold jeweled tear dropped septum ring that fits me so well! Maddie was my piercer and explained the process step by step and made myself and my bestie feel very comfortable. She did an amazing job and I felt minimal pain. I definitely can’t wait to go back!! #luckygirlsyndrome 💜💜💜

I booked a ear styling appointment because I want to deck our my ears but am starting basically from scratch and wasnt 100% sure where to start. Juice and Ali helped me out for the appt and they pulled some awesome options for earrings and helped me pick out some cute pieces. We ended up going with a daith in one ear and extra lobe piercing in each, and am so thrilled with the results! Ali did my piercing and it was nowhere near as bad as I expected and was over really quick. I got a really thorough rundown on aftercare and when to come back for downsizing. I picked out some moderately expensive earrings, but they definitely have some simpler pieces if budget is a concern, and the ones I got were definitely worth the price for the quality. Overall this was a 10/10 experience and I will definitely be back!

My entire experience at IRIS Chicago was excellent, from picking out the jewelry to the piercings themselves to aftercare. The studio was hospital room-level clean and Ali made me feel super comfortable with her warmth and high level of knowledge. My favorite part of the experience so far was ~3 weeks after my piercings, when the staff reached out to me via text to check in and see how I was healing. I was able to text them some questions which were answered in less than 10 mins. I really appreciated that touchpoint and the level of care that the IRIS staff showed for me. I highly recommend them and will definitely be returning for future piercings!

I had such a wonderful experience! The studio is spotless, I witnessed the sanitation processes, and everyone was very kind. Madison did my piercings - she was patient, gentle and skilled. The jewelry was pricier than I expected but Charlotte took great care to help me find a good balance of cost-effective and stylish pieces. 10/10 would recommend this to a friend - everything was safe, clean and welcoming!

I went in to get two piercings and they both turned out beautifully. They healed very quickly thanks to how professional and extremely sanitary both the staff and studio were, and they did a great job informing me of the aftercare and answering all my questions. The piercing tech was really nice and she walked me through all of it, which really calmed me nerves about it. I had to wait for maybe 30 minutes for the person in front of me since there was some kind of hold up, but I didn’t mind since we knew it was walk in only and we planned the time for it. They were a little pricey but if you’re looking for a high quality and professional piercing, I would most definitely recommend them.

Wow! What a difference from being pierced over 17 years ago to now. The staff at Iris and Melanie were so amazing. They were very informative. I wish I had the same experience 17 years ago when I first got my nose pierced but nonetheless they were exceptional and great.

I got my first 2 cartilage piercings done here today. The employees were very helpful and let me hold up different earrings to make sure I got the ones I wanted. They did an amazing job assuring me that everything was clean. The store was very nice and clean. My piercer was very nice and made me feel comfortable. My piercings look great and I couldn’t be happier!

Though the price of the jewelry is on the steeper end, theyre all gorgeous pieces. Theres a good variety in different colors and designs and theyre all great quality.I went in yesterday because I lost my septum ring and everyone was extremely kind and accommodating!

I received some of the best customer service at IRIS. The professionals were kind and accommodating to my indecisive nature and provided great advice for my piercing. They were also conscious of my budget and helped me find something unique and lovely that fit in my price range. My piercer went at the perfect pace, provided me with all the info needed for care of piercing and made sure I got exact Alt what I wanted. Overall all they provided an outstanding experience with no judgement, only support and quality advice. I would recommend anyone considering a piercing to go to IRIS in Chicago!

I walked in for a helix piercing and Kira was an absolute dream piercer! She’s extremely informative, made sure I was comfortable with the placement of the piercing, and really easy to talk to! Iris has the most stunning, unique jewelry you will ever see. I got the Pupil Hall “crystallized” earring in white gold and it’s SO incredible! Worth every single penny. I suggest coming to Iris on a weeknight instead of the weekend because there are no long wait times like there would be on a Saturday or Sunday.

I got my eyebrow piercing changed and had a fantastic experience. Super sweet folks who will absolutely take good care of you, incredibly knowledgeable staff, and a very clean/welcoming/safe space! I would HIGHLY recommend this place to anyone looking for a superb piercing studio!!

The studio is nice and clean and very professional. They are also super serious about their Covid policies. However, it is very expensive and they werent very upfront about the price till I was there. The jewelry selection was also very limited. I was just there for an ear lob re-piercings so I got two very pricey gold post put in my ears. They were very pretty and I had no issues re-healing. Then one of the posts fell out at some point in the first two months and I didn’t notice when or where it fell out. I am less than happy with my experience since it was so expensive and they screwed it in and they told me not to really touch it or mess with it and it fell out. Also, the day I showed up for my appointment I was five minutes early and they wouldn’t let me in till the minute of my appointment even though it was freezing out, but they were otherwise nice enough. I won’t be ever be going back ( a very personal 0 stars) but it may be a good option for someone else depending on what you’re looking for and how much money you have.

I had a helix and two second lobe piercings done here by Stephanie, and I could not be happier about the whole experience. The quality of jewelry and the professionalism is top notch. I just hit the 8 week mark and came back to get shorter posts put in. Very quick and efficient. If you listen to your piercer, care and healing is extremely easy. Dont touch your piercings and spray it with saline wash, front and back, twice a day. Cant wait for them to be fully healed so I can buy more pretty jewelry!

Hard to reach the business because their phone lines are down. This was difficult as my piercing got infected/irritated and I couldn’t get the proper instructional care. Hopefully management fixes their phone lines and method of communication. Not a good experience so far unfortunately as I was really excited to come to Iris.

Recommend here by a friend after a daith piercing I had done when I was out of the country (ugh, bad idea, I know) had a persistent bump at the insertion site for a couple months. I made an appt for a quick “check-up” with Ali and she was fantastic! Super knowledgeable, friendly, and thorough.. even given she didn’t do the piercing. Happy to say I followed her simple instructions and within just a few weeks, my bump is almost gone! Definitely recommend!

The most knowledgeable piercer I have been to. They were the first to give me consistent, solid advice on the issues I had with my nostril piercing. On top of excellent customer service, Iris was worth the trip to Lincoln Square. Will definitely be visiting again.

I came here to get my posts shortened and Ali & Juice made it the best experience. First off, the shop is really cute & woman and queer friendly! The vibe there is like they saw you get your belly button pierced as a teenager by a creepy guy at a dirty head shop in the aughts and said ew and made it the exact OPPOSITE. The jewelry they sell is very special and your new piercing wont look like a basic b. Next up comes the lovely humans that work there. EVERYONE is so warm and welcoming! Ali took care of my ears and talked me through every step of the way. Their professionalism and expertise is clear from the moment you start talking to them! Juice was like my bestie I hadnt met yet and we all laughed and talked thru the whole appointment. First and foremost this location has the most incredible women. Charlotte and Maddie made me feel so comfortable that I didn’t feel like I was meeting strangers. Also, MADDIE MADE THE PIERCINGS COMPLETELY PAINLESS, which not sure how she did, but that was great! I’m absolutely content driving the 1.5hr to come here and shop more than I need to. The owners are very lucky to have this staff & I hope they appreciate their staff

I had an amazing experience at Iris. I came in after trying to go up a size when gauging my ear. It blew out and the jewelry came out while I was sleeping. It bled and was already scabbing over, swollen, red, and angry. I was afraid it was going to close up completely but there was no way I could put jewelry back in it by myself without extreme pain. I called to make an appointment and they were able to fit me in right away. Ali was extremely, kind, helpful, and knowledgeable. They cleaned out my ear and helped me pick jewelry that was a better material for healing. They were also really gentle and careful when cleaning my ear and putting the jewelry in. I experienced very little pain. Not only was the experience enjoyable but I also learned a lot, Ali answered all my questions. I will absolutely be going back and recommend anyone to go there for piercing help. After just half a day my ear already feels and looks so much better. Thank you for the amazing service, I cant wait to come back!

After 20+ piercings from at least a dozen shops in various countries, I thought I knew what to expect. Needless to say, I was blown away by the entire experience at Iris. I came in to have my septum repierced for my birthday and had the best piercing experience of my life. Having had the piercing before, this time around was fast, smooth and nearly painless. Jaymes is a professional who genuinely cares about your entire experience. To top it off, their jewelry selection is honestly unmatched. Will make this my go-to piercing shop!!!!

Iris Piercing is phenomenal. The boutique is beautiful, even drawing in passersby with its glimmering allure. The piercing room in back is pristine, and the staff is extremely knowledgable, both in the jewelry (down to the weight, stone type, who made it, etc.) and in the piercing process itself. I felt relaxed, comfortable and welcome through the entire process, walking in the door, to walking out. I would sincerely take my mother to get a piercing here. An extremely professional and passionate establishment, and it shows all around.

Excellent experience getting 11 yo girls ears pierced at Iris. The store and piercing room is so clean, Jaymes is incredible knowledgeable, helpful and friendly and did a great job piercing her ears. We would highly recommend Iris to any one. Its the way to go for ear piercing (and I am sure other piercings too). Jaymes is great with kids and loves what he does. Very professional and clean. Earring choices are beautiful and she gets lots of compliments on them!

After taking the time to review the website, social sites, and reviews for Iris Piercing in Chicago I made the decision to schedule a same day appointment for a double helix piercing. The website broadcasted the expensive, but beautiful jewelry pieces very nicely and I chose a simple pair of studs that I thought would look nice and fit my budget. The website clearly has them priced at $22 and the piercing would be $35/ea. Once I arrive and get my temperature taken, a very nice young lady leads me to the jewelry counter and starts talking about the value of the jewelry and how it is real gold. I explained that I looked online and saw the earrings that I wanted and they were priced at $22 each plus the $70 for the piercing. She explained that the website was “not correct” and those earrings are actually $90+. The lowest priced they had to choose from would have been $65. Had I known this before scheduling the appointment, I would have been better able to form my decision on how I wanted to proceed. Instead, the misleading website led me to spending money to hire a babysitter for the very short visit, reserve my appointment with a non-refundable $10 fee, pay the street parking, and now the gas that it took for the commute. The price is not the issue but they need to take the time to update the website or create verbiage so someone understands exactly how much it will cost to get serviced there before scheduling a visit.

I came into iris piercing studio a couple weeks ago and i’m so glad i did. i had gotten my nipples pierced 6 months ago from a different “professional piercing studio” and they weren’t healing well. i wanted Ali to look at them and thank god i did so. they educated me in such a polite and honest way about how they noticed there were a handful of issues regarding the way the other place pierced me- basically set me up for failure. Ali gave me a handful of options on how to resolve the issue- and it resulted in us both thinking removing the piercings and letting them repierce me PROPERLY would be the best option. SO HAPPY I DID THAT and so excited to get them done in a safe and educated way. thank you so much Ali. i appreciate you!!

This is the perfect piercing store for anyone who is contemplating getting a piercing. The shop is very clean with beautiful options for jewelry designs for any taste and preference. It took me awhile to find the perfect earrings because there were so many beautiful options to choose from.As soon as you walk in, you will feel comfortable and not anxious. Definitely a kid friendly place. This being my first piercing experience i was really nervous but Jaymes explained the whole process to me in detail which really helped with my anxiety. I got 3 piercings done on the same ear and the whole process was super easy and surprisingly painless. Jaymes was really friendly, helpful, patient with me. I had a great experience getting my first ear piercing (daith)!! I was excited but also really nervous and expecting it to be really scary and painful. But the environment was really great, it was clean and they had an awesome selection of jewelry. Beautiful space with amazing jewelry. I purchased new tragus jewelry and also got a 2nd nostril piercing while I was there. Jaymes is super knowledgeable, friendly, and has a very reassuring and calm demeanor when piercing. Ive had several piercings and this one is healing the quickest and least troublesome of any Ive ever had, which indicates to me it was extremely well done.

I have gotten four piercings from Jaymes! And its worth every penny. The studio is beyond beautiful and clean. Jaymes is such a respectable artist and a master at his work. Whenever I go to his studio to ask him to check how my piercings are healing he has no problem checking it and cleaning it if it looks kinda crusty (gross, I know, I really appreciate it). The only place Ill ever go to for help with piercings or piercings. Ali fixed my double helix, so will finally properly heal. They changed my jewelry, with much more high quality pieces, which got rid of the pain in that ear all together.

I highly recommend getting pierced with Jaymes! He did my spectum piercing in one shot for which I am truly thankful! The studio is super clean, modern and welcoming. I wish I knew about this place before when I got my nostril pierced. I am going back before the end of the month to get double nostril piercing on the other side of my nose. They were very up front about the process, time it would take, and the healing process so I was set up for success every time. My daughter had her cartilidge pierced as well as second holes done. I was so impressed by Jaymes who put her at ease and explained absolutely everything to her. He sterilized all of the jewelry and instruments then washed her ears a couple of different times and changed his gloves at least three times...I was impressed! She said the piercings felt like a blood draw and 8 hours later she is saying that the cartilidge piercing stings just a little but the second piercings dont really hurt. The jewelry here is beautiful and the service outstanding. Id highly recommend.

I got my ears pierced here back in July. I thought the service and expertise was great.The jewelry was expensive. I figured that was the cost of doing business these days, so I bought some very small, rose gold studs. Unfortunately, one of the studs was so small, it retreated underneath my skin. As I attempted to push it out back up to the surface, the earring back and stud broke, falling down the drain :(. Since they were expensive, I was hoping the earring would last longer.

I was pretty anxious about getting a few ear piercings done (lobe and cartilage, four altogether). Everyone in the shop was friendly and funny. Jaymes, the piercer, told me every step beforehand and let me know that if I have any issues with the piercings to call them for assistance. I dont doubt that he meant it - this shop deserves more than just 5 stars!

I lost my nose ring and wanted alegit shop. I cant argue with the quality of product, or the amazing lady presence.. but I had a lot of explaining to do on how I spent $180 on just TOPS for my threadless posts. Sure theyre made of gold.. but there was no lower priced option. I didnt know the price until I was committed.Its not their fault Im poor.. but I wont be back.

Brought my anxious 8 year old in to get her ears pierced on her birthday a few months ago. Did some research and Jaymes was recommended, especially for kids. All my expectations were far exceeded. Jaymes was awesome, very patient, made my daughter feel relaxed and confident and even let her select the music! Jaymes took a long time making our family feel comfortable and it was a great experience for mom and daughter. The piercings have healed beautifully and look great. Highly recommend.

Took my daughter here to get her ears pierced for her 7th bday. Jaymes is amazing with children. She didnt cry one tear! She keeps raving about picking out her own earrings and how Jaymes let her choose the stores music (he even knew how to spell Kidz Bop!). The place itself is very classy, and the earring choices are high quality and reasonable. They use needles instead of piercing guns, which is much safer and less painful. Three weeks later and no infections or complications.

Made an appointment for piercing here, arrived earlier but they didn’t even show up to my appointment. I was waiting outside for 40 min, this place was just closed. They didn’t pick up phone or reply a message. Not responsible staff, do not recommend to is place. Even tho they change you for making an appointment.

When my daughter said she wanted to get her nose pierced, I pictured having to walk down a dark alley, past mean looking stray dogs and negotiating with an eccentric wizard-like weirdo all while worrying about the cleanliness of the procedure.Well, IRIS was great. Its more like a high end day spa. Jaymes IS an eccentric wizard-like weirdo, but the nicest, funniest wizard-like weirdo Ive ever met. Total professional. He knew just what to say to put our minds at rest and my daughter had a completely pain free experience. Trust me, shes a total wimp and she was laughing at Jaymes jokes the whole time.5 big stars.

Cool selection, but it would be nice if they put in their info or website that they are a gold only studio. Any other shop that does gold only usually lists this very obviously so people don’t walk in expecting the typical wide selection you see at other piercing only studios.
