Rowan Michigan Avenue - Tribune Tower

Everyone working here was extremely nice, I literally asked to move around the placement of my piercing, five times, and they were extremely understanding. The store is absolutely adorable, and offers many equally adorable earring choices. This was not my first piercing, but I do wish I would have gotten all of my previous piercings here at Rowan. This was absolutely my favorite experience getting my ears pierced. I got my third pierced, on my lobes. They made me feel super safe with the piercing, and made the whole process way less painful. They had so many amazing, finishing touches, such as a free booklet they gave with a bunch of information on how to take care of my new piercing, as well as free gifts with the piercing. The overall atmosphere was 10 out of 10 and I would recommend.

Such nice people! The manager allowed us to do a walk in at the end of the day, and the Olivia was super cool! She explained everything and my sister and I are both really happy with our new ear piercings.

Just got baby’s first piercings! This place is the best for babies! Excellent service and expert staff! Rowan is such a welcoming and friendly atmosphere. We will be back for mommy next time!

We unfortunately did not have a positive experience at this location. The tool used to pierce my daughter’s ears got stuck in one ear with the back not coming off. It also did not get put in exactly where the marking was for alignment. My daughter’s ear has continually become infected in that ear despite using all of the products from Rowan and only rowan earrings. We are going to have to have them closed up and will have to try again.

Shayla did an amazing job with my lobe needle piercings! She was thorough and patient with me, making sure I was 100% happy with the placements before she pierced me (which was quick and painless!). I am so happy with the whole experience, it was exactly what I wanted and the piercings are perfect. I will definitely come back for any future jewelry or piercing needs :)

Beyond incredible Tamira was BEYOND incredible...lost my daith and I almost cried. She suggested the most beautiful jewelry and even placed it. She was so patient and careful. WILL BE BACK!!!

Took my 5 year old for her first ear piercings and my 13 year old for a helix and this place was so wonderful. Everything was explained in detail before anything was done and everyone was so kind and helpful. The place was very cute and clean and Sierra was so nice and did an amazing job. I would highly recommend!

Got my fourth pierced here today and it was such a great experience! The girls working were so kind and patient. They walk you through each step and help you make the best decision. I would totally go back here again for another piercing!!

It was the best experience I’ve ever had. I’ve pierced my ears on 2 separate occasions before this and t hi is was by far the most awesome, empowering and the least painful experience. The nurse was experienced, friendly, welcoming, courteous, and simply amazingly supportive. There was no pressure to purchase more. She listened and simply supported my vibe, thoughts and feelings about placement of the piercings and styles. It’s not cheap but SO worth the amazing experience!! I’ll definitely come back again and I fully trust being my family and friends here.

What a great store! Ms Lisa and Ms Tamira were so thoughtful while my niece was getting her ears pierced. They helped my daughter find the perfect oval hoops. It was a 10/10 experience!

Rowan is amazing! I opted for a helix and conch piercing and Shayla was so amazing during the whole process! I barely felt the piercing and Shayla made sure all our questions were answered and super helpful in explaining everything. Rowan carries a nice extensive collection of jewelry too! From the checking in to checking out my whole experience was amazing , I went here to get my 3 month old baby’s ear pierced. As a new mom my baby’s first everything is very nerve racking for me but I felt at ease here ! I didn’t get the front desk lady’s name but she was very warm and welcoming and Shayla the nurse who pierced my daughter was phenomenal! They do their job very well and place is really clean , the drive was 1 hour but I would drive there again . Really recommend here for piercings especially for baby’s! Thank you all staff

Everybody here was so nice!! Our nurse was Karen and she let me change where I wanted it about 30 times before actually piercing. Overall the whole place was so cute and the jewellery options were adorable!! Would recommend for a first piercing place

I had an appointment Friday, April 19th at 11am and I am so very happy with my visit! I was nervous because I received my piercings elsewhere but the staff at Rowan were so sweet and helpful. I’ve already recommended Rowan to others. The gentleman that greeted me was warm and welcoming. The piercer who checked my piercings and jewelry was kind, patient, and attentive. I don’t remember their names (should’ve written them down) but they were amazing and I’ll be back to see them in a few weeks as my piercings heal. Thank you!

I walked in for an upper lobe piercing. They were very quick with getting me in. Very helpful with the process & aftercare. The staff was very friendly. Perfect spot for a quick turn around and beautiful piercing.

Was in Chicago for the weekend and my five year old decided she wanted to get her ears pierced. My wife is a nurse and she found out that the staff that does the piercings are also nurses, so we gave it a shot. Nurse Karen did an outstanding job piercing both lobes and my daughter was so happy! We will definitely be back for more down the road.

We were visiting Chicago when I started seeing ads for Rowan on my social media. My 8 year old really wanted to have pierced ears but was too nervous to get it done. We had been discussing it for months. I was able to show her what the place looked like and we were both comforted by the fact her piercings would be done by nurses. She agreed and we made the appointment. It was super easy to book and they had tons of same day availability. She was nervous when she walked in but the piercers were just the right amount of excited for her and calm. They took great care in getting placement perfect and even. She was able to get both lobes done at the same time and could not believe she had actually done it! She was stunned by how quick and relatively painless it was. She cherishes her Certificate of Bravery. The whole rest of the day she kept saying, Mom! I really did it! I can do hard things! It was a wonderful experience for both of us. Correy and Kristen- thank you from the bottom of my heart! This is a core memory!

Amazing service and cute jewelry ! I had an old piercing that I thought had closed up after years of not wearing earrings . I assumed that I would have to get the piercing re-pierced but the lovely ladies at Rowan opened up my hole with a little assistance so that I wouldn’t have to pay for another piercing. I ended getting another piercing as well because I was so pleased with the service ! 10/10
