Highly recommend! The staff are friendly, the store is clean, and the person who pierced was so informative, patient, and had a gentle touch. Walk-ins welcome, they got us in on a Thursday evening - I am so glad we stopped in! Love my new piercing.

My child and I both got helix piercings at this location and had a wonderful experience. Our piercer, Grace, was beyond great-- she was kind, patient, and really took the time to help us pick out the right jewelry and talk about piercing placement. In my case, I have a cochlear implant and I was concerned about placement because of potential irritation and Grace was so helpful in talking about options. We both felt well supported! In terms of pricing- they were very transparent and up front. The jewelry seemed a tad expensive but it was made from high quality materials. Thank you, Grace!

I had my first Rowan appointment last week Saturday for a tragus piercing with nurse Alma, she went above and beyond to helping me pick the correct jewelry, answering all the questions I had and even walked me through the steps before she pierced my tragus. She went through the after care instructions very well and I even got an after care card which I thought was so cute! It’s now been a week and I have been calling like crazy just to make sure all the symptoms I am feeling are normal for a new piercing and they are! All the staff members have been so so helpful and very informative. I will definitely be back for more piercings!!

Sierra did my double helix piercing and was so patience and described every step so thoroughly. She was very knowledgeable for piercing placement and what shapes of jewelry would fit/look best. Full service after piercing, like a juice box for when I got a little dizzy 😅 Would definitely recommend!

Had my upper lobes pierced by Kristine and she was super! The shop was so welcoming and insightful from the second I arrived. Kristine helped me decide on just the right set and type of piercing. I came in super nervous after not having pierced my ears in years. She walked through the whole process and made it super quick and basically painless. I’ve gotten ear piercings at several different shops, and on this particular day I just felt frisky and like getting a one. I did not have an appointment, and walked in and they got me set up super quickly. (I recommend getting an appointment online, several walk-ins lined up behind me within a couple minutes.)There are definitely shops with more vast jewelry selections, but their aesthetic is very aligned with mine so it is a well-curated collection for my taste. At a traditional piercing shop, even the most basic jewelry can get *really* expensive, and this place was very reasonably priced.The shop is clean and they seem to take proper care to handle piercing supplies in a sanitary manner.The piercing itself (I got a mid helix, by needle) was extremely fast, 1 out of 10 on a pain scale, and one of the quickest and easiest I’ve ever had. I wanted to get the hole punched and get on my way quickly.I should note that because I’m experienced with the process and aftercare instructions, the blistering pace was fine. But for someone new and nervous, it probably would have been a little off-putting. Just be prepared to advocate for yourself and ask questions if you need to, their staff is very knowledgeable.

I love it here! At first I thought it was an overpriced accessory store that did piercings. It’s so much more!! This was the best piercing experience I’ve ever had the fact that I was late on a Saturday with no appointment and the service was amazing gave me so much reassurance. And even with others in the store we still got personal attention and things were explained calmly and thoroughly. It was painless and happy experience, expensive but you get what you pay for.

Super quick and easy process. nurse alma helped me with my second lobe piercing and she was thorough and explained the process from the beginning to end which made me feel super comfortable. I also love that it was a breeze to book online for an appt. the only thing I would say is to consider the timing of your appointment and finding parking, but otherwise, I have no complaints. totally recommend!

Got 3 piercings yesterday and I love them! I forgot his name but my piercer was super nice and he took his time. He made sure I liked the dot placement and explained the aftercare well. 10/10 will come back! I also bought a pair of earrings (all hypoallergenic) and received a discount for those :) Their earrings are super cute and affordable so definitely go there even if you’re not getting pierced!

The nurse was super sweet and informative about the whole experience. She took her time with the placement of where the earring would go and checked with me to be sure I liked it. I really really liked the nurse and feel horrible I can’t remember her name. I would recommend Rowan to anyone looking for ear piercing.

The service was great, but after tipping I spent over $350 for two piercings. I’ve been to tattoo parlors that offer the same great service for half that price, and even less. I didn’t get diamond earrings either - their cheapest jewelry starts at around $40-$50 so it gets pricy very quickly. I’m also getting emails now asking me to come in to change out my earrings for an additional $50! No thanks. If a changeout is needed it should be included in the already steep price you pay for the piercing.

Got my first set of piercing EVER! I’ve always been so scared of pain so I’m usually reluctant on getting them pierced. However my piercer Oma was super patient and made sure I was comfortable with the process. She’s also due by the end of this month I’m so excited for her! It was slightly more expensive than I expected, I ended up paying $400 for the two piercings I had. But they were definitely pretty!

The service was amazing everyone was so nice and the prices are affordable and it didn’t even hurt I really enjoyed my experience and am looking forward to coming back for future piercings.

My friend and I came in to get helix piercings today and are happy with the piercings but not with the whole experience. The front desk employee was very kind and helpful, however our appointments did not begin until 20 mins or so after they were scheduled (we had pre booked online). Our nurse, Alma, seemed very knowledgeable but was not very personable and made both of us quite uncomfortable. She almost seemed to want us to decide to not get pierced as she told my friend her ear shape would not accommodate the piercing well (it did) and seemed put off by me wanting to get two piercings at once. She did explain why and ultimately I got two and am happy with it. I trusted her expertise but she just wasn’t very friendly.

While I’m happy with my piercing and the piercing process. I did not feel welcomed or like a valued customer in the space. I came early and the piercer notified that women at the front desk that he would not be able to see me early which was totally fine. He had another client getting a piercing done. I looked around briefly and left and came back around the time of my appointment. When I returned other patrons had come in and were looking at jewelry. By this time, the piercer had finished with his other client. He immediately turned to the couple who’d just come in ahead of me and said “I don’t know who’s next.” Mind you, I’d said the time of my appointment the first time I entered and I’d only left less than 10 minutes before and come right back. The women at the front informed him that I was next. As she did so he immediately turned back to the couple and talked them through the jewelry and spoke to them for a good 3-5 minutes not acknowledged me at all. He eventually said he’d be with them when he finished up my appointment and finally acknowledged me and conducting my service. He walked me through the process and did a great job with my piercing but I would have appreciated to feel much more welcome and acknowledged as a paying customer. The women at the front was very kind. I looked forward to coming here to spend my money but I probably won’t be coming back.

I went here because I made an impulse decision to get new piercings & it was the most convenient to where I live. Got my fourth holes + cartilage done back in June. Spent ****$100**** on my cartilage jewelry that I was told to keep in for 12 months and it just fell out of my ear the other day. If you tell me to keep a piercing in for 12 months, I expect that the jewelry quality is good enough to withstand a minimum of 12 months. When I stopped in and made mention of it to someone in the studio, they just glossed it over. You can get great quality piercings & jewelry at a non-chain local studio for less - and the jewelry will last.

Recently had my ears pierced. I love that it’s nurses piercing so love the attention to hygiene. I did feel like my experience was a little rushed. I had a 6:30 appointment so maybe scheduling earlier would be better. I’m a nurse myself so wasn’t too worried about understanding how to care for the piercings but for someone who is probably not well versed this would be a little off putting I imagine. Would I recommend to someone else? Yes I would but I’d recommend an earlier appointment. My piercer seemes to be tired and rushed. She was very hygienic which I liked. Just not very personable.

I got my doubles pierced here. The process was very fast and clean, however I was disappointed with the staff’s demeanor and explanation of pricing and process. I was told that the needling piercing was the same as device, just that they would take slightly longer to heal and were semi-permanent and harder to remove. After I had gone through with the process, I was upset to learn that I was also charged for the cleaning solution and each stud, which is not the same pricing system as the device piercing. I would not recommend this place for a first piercing, as the nurse was harsh about the differences between my ears and me accidentally touching my ear after it had been cleaned (which just required a quick additional swipe of a cleaning pad). Luckily, I am not scared of needles, but if I was, it would have been a very stressful experience.

I removed my three piercings back in 2015 for knee surgery and just never returned them. The team at Rowan were amazing first helping me select the right earrings then doing the expert piercings. The after care instructions and spray are perfect!

Everyone at Rowan was super nice and made me feel super comfortable throughout the piercing process. It was extremely clean, and the woman who did my piercing was thorough and very gentle! As a person who is very nervous around needles (and also afraid of getting an infection from the piercing), I really enjoyed my experience and will definitely go back in the future.

I was really looking forward to my visit but unfortunately, my experience left a bit to be desired. While Im grateful for the quality of the piercing, I was disappointed with the overall atmosphere. It would have been nice to feel more welcome and at ease during the process. I felt a bit uncomfortable and like a bit of a burden throughout my visit. I was hoping for a warmer and friendlier approach. While the lady who performed my piercing was competent, I couldnt help but feel she was a little cold and could have been more helpful and friendly. I hope this feedback is taken constructively and that future visitors receive the warm and welcoming experience they deserve.

The entire experience was awesome. We had an appointment. I received 3 piercings and my daughter received 2. We were greeted when we came in and introduced to the nurse that was going to do our piercings. She showed us the earrings to pick from and explained the difference with the earrings and the piercings with he hand gun versus the needle. We picked the earrings and were taken to the area for our piercings. Our nurse explained the process and everything was hygienic! It was a smooth and easy process and our nurse was really positive and checked to make sure the location for the earrings was good before doing the piercings.

I had my helix and second lobe piercings done and Geoffrey was amazing! He made the experience so fun and walked me through everything before hand and all of the after care recommendations. The environment was very friendly and relaxing as well. Such a cute shop! Definitely recommend this place!!

I wouldn recommend getting pierced for toddlers … they said if the baby is crying after the first piercing they would not do the second .. like seriously ? What logic is that ? Babies ofc will cry after their piercing ..we travelled all the way to get it pierced their only to come back disappointed. Babies need to smile after they get their ear pierced so they can get the other one . I got it done at Claire’s and it all went fine . What a waste of time .. so make sure that baby is smiling when she gets pierced . You would think being nurses they would be able to manage piercing for toddlers but guess not … so if the babies s crying while being vaccinated you nurses don’t give them a shot ? Would not recommend for babies toddlers.. just disappointed because it Was a long drive for us

I got my first cartilage piercing from Rowan at their Brooklyn location. However, I was visiting Chicago and thought I had an infection. I was greeted first by the associate, then the nurse came out and sat me down and took a look. They assured me that it was not an infection and did a quick clean then I was on my way! So friendly and nice, I regret nothing about getting my piercing through Rowan. Great business idea :)
