WONDERFUL experience today at Removery! I was greeted kindly and we got straight to business. The consultation was transparent and very clear, I felt confident moving forward with the process and had a feeling I’d be in good hands.Do much so that we did my first session same day! This place is perfect. Clean, efficient, and the staff are kind and knowledgeable. I especially appreciated two things:1. My consult with Jacqueline who also runs sales/front desk was informative both because Jacqueline is kind and smart but also because she has experience as a removal tech! Game changer.2. The takeaway goodie bag after my first appointment was a great touch. Love that it contains after care instructions, and ice pack AND a couple sweet treats to enjoy after treatment.

If youre having any tattoo regret I 100% recommend this place! Everyone there is not only friendly but very knowledgeable about tattoo removals. They definitely know what they are doing! Also, it doesnt hurt as bad as you may think (in my honest opinion) and the sessions are very short regardless so all in all a very good experience and I will be back for more sessions. :)

My experience with Removery has been 10/10! When I originally went in for my free consultation, I was warmly greeted by Laura, who also took me through the removal process & pricing. I felt she was incredibly thorough & mapped everything out for me very clearly :) when it came time to make a decision, I did not feel pressured in any way. I decided to move forward with getting a full removal package & have been back a few times since - my experience continues to be excellent & I quite enjoy the atmosphere of this location! My technician especially does a great job & keeps me affirmed as we go! In terms of results, I have only gone in for treatment twice so far but I am seeing lightning in areas already. I am excited continue my removal journey

My entire experience from beginning to almost completion has been fabulous. The staff are really really knowledgeable, very respectful, very professional and very demure.

I purchased an unlimited package At this location in April 2023. I’ve had a great experience up until today. I had an appointment schedule for 2 PM, and because of circumstances out of my control (a big rig was blocking the street I was on), I walked in at 2:05 PM. Generally, I’m on time so I’ve never had an issue. But today, I was told that I would have to reschedule because I was late and “I take a long time.” Had I known those circumstances before hand, I would’ve came 10 minutes early. Not only is it terrible customer service to not have at least a five minute grace period, but if it is the case that I take a long time, you should let me know beforehand that I need to come early. After my next appointment at this location, I will be going to the Lincoln Square location.

Best tattoo removal in the city. Facility is top notch and the techs are fast with their work. Laura and Anna are the best!

Got my first session of tattoo removal today. I am AWFUL with pain, and I cannot express it enough of how painless that was for me. Its taken me a long time to do this review but I had to do it because I had to show you the results.I went there about 2 years ago when they had a New Years promo. After that I ended up purchasing the bundle of 6 sessions and I could not be happier with the results (as you can see on the before and after). Alex was super good and answered all my questions. Once my bundle was over Ive consider doing more sessions but I found I was pregnant and right after I had my baby we moved states but Im still happy with the results :)

I’ve had a great experience at Removery so far with 4 sessions on 2 big tattoos. I’m getting them completely removed. Cody has been my tech and he’s great, makes sure I’m comfortable and that all my questions are answered. I’ve had very kind interactions with every staff member here. The process is pretty painful but it’s over quick, and I’m so excited to be getting rid of tattoos that have bothered me and bummed me out for years. I was also pleasantly surprised at how affordable (relatively speaking!) it is here. For 2 big tattoos, with a prepaid package of unlimited sessions (these will probably take 10-15 to remove completely), it was $3k. Not cheap, but I went in thinking it would be like $500 a session and that I wouldn’t be able to afford it. So overall I’m very happy with my experience at Removery, even if I am very unhappy during those couple minutes the laser is on me :)

This was the best experience I could have wished for! Ive been wanting to remove my tattoo for several years but kept putting it off. Im so glad I decided to go ahead and do it. Removerys staff and atmosphere are amazing! Monika made me feel so welcomed and at home...I feel like I made a new friend today! She made the process so seamless and comfortable. Annan the Bucktown locations is literally the best part about getting my tattoo removed. I honestly wish I could cut the time down in between appointments just so I could come see her sooner! She makes the entire process painless and seamless. Only thing I would change about this entire thing, is had I known Anna would be as incredible as she is and the removal would be as no big deal as it is, I would have started removing my tattoo years ago!!

This location was highly recommended to me by a previous client that had an excellent experience. His tattoo was successfully removed in very few sessions. I am so grateful that I went in and decided to follow through. They gave me a straight fee until it’s completely gone no matter how many sessions it takes and allowed me to divide the amount into monthly auto payments after giving a reasonable deposit. I love that I am already seeing results. Yes it’s a slow process due to the healing time in between treatments but it’s worth it. The staff is awesome!!! They are always in a good mood, courteous and accommodating in any way they can. I also appreciate their appointment reminders via text since the appointments are several weeks apart and if your anything like me your busy and forgetful which is a terrible combo. Just do it! Although tattoo removal isn’t the most comfortable situation, Monika goes above & beyond to make you feel at ease.I’ve been coming to this location since the middle of last year to remove 4 of my tattoos and I’m so glad I found them! I have been coming here for over a year now. I’ve had 9 sessions of tattoo removal. Cody has been my tech for 7 out of 9 sessions. He is super friendly and professional. He makes this not so pleasant experience a positive one and always tries to ensure I’m as comfortable as can be. We’ve made some great progress on this tattoo removal process and I cannot wait until they are completely gone.

I have been to this location four times now and my experience has been phenomenal every single time.I bought a package of 3 sessions earlier this year, only my tattoo did not fade to the extent that I thought it would (though I have seen meaningful improvement). Additionally, I had already had previous sessions at a different Removery location prior to starting my 3 package at this location. Before getting my fourth session at this location, I explained to Sabrine that I was interested in full removal, and given that I had already had many sessions with them, they were kind enough to work on pricing with me for the complete removal package.Super friendly and knowledgeable staff and uses the best tech thats available for tattoo removal (at least thats what I concluded from the research that I conducted). I would highly recommend if you are interested in having a tattoo faded or completely removed.

I am on my 5th session and Monika is the absolute BEST!! I am getting 2(ish) tattoos removed, and I am seeing improvements during and after each session and Monika takes her time, assess the tattoos after the last session and uses her best judgement with the lasers that are available to get the best results. She is very knowledgeable, personable and is always available to answer any questions. I was actually at another location with Removery (and they were great too!!) but I switched over to the Bucktown location when Monika moved over, that is how much I appreciate her help and talent. She was also the one that did my first removal session and consultation and honestly could not have asked for a better experience, especially with something as nerve wracking as laser removal. She is seriously an expert in what she does and I truly appreciate her guidance with the removal process.

I accidentally went to the wrong location and they accommodated me regardless. Moni (spelling?) was very personable and informative at the same time. She made me feel very comfortable and explained everything in detail. The technician Laura was very communicative for my first session and was just the coolest. This doesnt have anything to do with the procedure but her makeup was stunning. I hope I get her again for my next session, she was informative and professional!

I can’t say enough about how positive my experience at recovery was. Sabrina greeted me at the door, made me feel at home and took me through each step of financing-literally reading the terms to me-which was ultimately what helped me make a decision. I went in on Black Friday when they had a 25% discount and qualified for the financing, all interest payments will be credited back to me, and have unlimited treatments available now which is sure to remove my mistake. I’m in the process of removing old microblading which is a long, arduous process that’s not at all easy. But bc it’s my face, I’ve been very deliberate with what I choose to move forward with and what I don’t. Removery was a recommendation from my permanent make up artist and at first I was skeptical as lasers on black skin can be damaging, but I have been pleasantly surprised. So far, the results are great and after one session a good amount of pigment has lifted.Not only is the service provided at Removery great, but the staff is as well. For my last session, I worked with Lauren and she was amazing. Permanent makeup removal is painful - Lauren was sweet, patient (extremely), gentle and informative the entire time. She went out of her way to make me comfortable, going at my pace and giving me breaks when needed to ensure my experience was pleasant despite the pain involved. If you’re thinking about going to Removery and are worried about the pain of laser pigment removal, ask for Lauren - you won’t be disappointed.

Everyone I have worked with is amazing! Sabrina always remembers me by name and she is such a friendly face to be greeted by. My results (I’m only 3 sessions in) have been better than I could have expected. Yes, it’s painful, but SO worth it! Couldn’t recommend more :)

Was good when it used to be Vamoose. Now it’s more expensive and not as effective; they claim Vamoose was under-charging and using less effective lasers but how is that possible when they were more effective in treating me with less cost?? Please explain how I’m seeing less results now than before.

I got a good number of sessions so far (about seven) I have been getting a lot of really good feedback from people that knew me with the tattoo, they say I look better without it . Im 5 treatments in and the results are definitely noticeable each time. The staff is super professional, personal, and wants to make sure you are satisfied with their service for every visit.My top reasons to go here:- Much more reasonably priced than what I found anywhere else in the city, considering my unwanted tattoo is fairly large, and Im a girl on a tight spending budget.- Tattoo removal is painful, BUT they want to make sure you can be as comfortable as possible. I was given complimentary numbing cream to put on my tattoo before every session. They also have a really awesome cooling machine to help the numbing process before the session starts.- Again, the staff is super helpful and punctual. Ive always had my appointments start right on time and my visits have never lasted more than 10-15 minutes.That being said, if you have some ink you arent a fan of anymore go straight to Vamoose Tattoo Removal. They know what theyre doing here.

I did not have a good experience since the changeover from Vamoose. I tried calling, no one answered so I made an appointment online. Still, I was greeted with a Who are you? when I came in. Ive had several removal sessions before so I was surprised that my session that day was the first time I hardly felt the laser. Not surprisingly, I did not see much of a difference immediately after or weeks after the treatment. The tech did not know what he was doing and did not have the correct parameters. Money down the drain. I will not be going back and cannot recommend this location.

I just had my first session with Monika to remove the background of a tattoo. The staff is very professional, the environment is comfortable and sterile, and the process was over quickly. It was painful but not more than getting the tattoo. If you can sit 3 hours for a tattoo, you can definitely handle 5-10 minutes of laser. I’ll be returning in 6-8 weeks.Thanks again!

Highly recommend! Especially the work done by Rebecca at this location. She was very knowledgeable and only charged me $169 for all the lasering I needed done on my forearm. Another shop, Hindsight Studio (owned by Insight Tattoo) charged me $300! Do yourself a favor and try Rebecca at Vamoose instead of being ripped off somewhere else.

What a pleasant first experience! Everyone was very nice explained every step in detail so there where no surprises. Extremely affordable I am having two tattoos removed at the same time. Lets talk about pain and what to expect; please keep in mind I have six total tattoos one branding. I have a high tolerance for pain. The first one on my breast was not so bad, the one on my back on my spine hurt the most I cried! But once I am free these horrible tattoos the pain will be a distant memory. I was moving at a slower pace as suggested but the next day I was back up and running. Kept the A+D Ointment on healed up nicely in three days. I can tell a difference in color on my breast but I have a long way to go there will be some scaring but I am ok with that. I am looking forward to my next visit. If you need a tattoo removed this is the company to help you do it.

I had Googled too much and went in to Vamoose thinking the tattoo removal process would be painful & scarring. Patti eased all of my concerns and actually got me excited about getting started. The whole first session only took 15 mins, it wasnt as painful as I thought it would be, they use this cooling spray while its being done even after it was done it just felt like a sunburn.Vamoose has some incredibly customer service too, the email and text reminders for my app was nice but I was really surprised when Patti even called the next day to check on my healing. The cost was not as expensive as I had thought either. 3 removal sittings would be the same as the 1 sitting to get the tattoo, so thats worth it my book. The whole process has been way easier than I could of ever imagined AND I already see results after only 1 session. I cant wait to go back!
