I did a lot of research before choosing Removery for my laser tattoo removal. Michael is truly amazing. I had my initial consultation with him and was very impressed with his knowledge of the science behind laser tattoo removal. He took the time to understand my concerns and was extremely informative and just so nice. I was initially nervous about the pain but the entire process was much smoother than I expected. Sam was highly skilled and very supportive. She made me feel at ease throughout the entire process. The results have been amazing, and Im so glad I decided to go through with it. Highly recommend this location!

Sam is seriously the best. She’s made it a great experience despite the ✨pain✨ and is so meticulous and patient. Michael is also a joy - a genuinely warm and welcoming energy whenever I come in.My tattoos that Im getting removed are on my spine and my thigh, so definitely not great spots comfort wise. But everyone at Removery that Ive seen has been wonderful. I think I’m about halfway done after over a year of treatments and I’m seeing major progress.I highly recommend the Lincoln Square location and getting the packaged deal with unlimited sessions, especially for covered up tattoos.

What a welcoming experience! Michael is phenomenal. I was really nervous for my consult but he explained everything, answered all my questions and made me feel a sense of relief.My first session was great. Over fast. They explained all the aftercare again, answered all my repeat questions and made me feel completely at ease. It really took away my nerves. I highly recommend.

The staff and service here is wonderful. Ive been going to Removery for over 3 years with the first couple of sessions at another location. I love this location in particular because Ive never had an issue rescheduling with my busy schedule, even if its last minute. Michael at the front is amazing and so friendly. I’ve been coming to this location for about a year now and I’m always delighted to see Micheal at the front desk. He is always very neutral to which I am very fond of. Some days I’m a little quiet and like to keep to myself, while other days I’m more social. It’s nice to know that Michael feeds off the energy the client leads with to make you feel comfortable. It’s very respectful and authentic. :)

I’ve been coming to The Removery for a few months now and couldn’t have asked for a better experience. Micheal at the front desk is not only extremely knowledgeable but friendly and accommodating to any of my schedule changes. I have been coming here for several sessions now since last year. This location is spot on clean and inviting. Michael always demonstrates excellent customer service he is friendly and respectful. I suppose one could save some money going elsewhere, but you will not get the professional experience offered by Removery. Just to emphasize my point, you pay a flat fee for as many visits required to achieve your satisfaction with a no interest payment plan. Micheal is informative and direct with answers to your questions. Do you seriously want to go to another tattoo parlor for removal that could potentially elongate this process and endure emotional and financial stress? I just received my first session and i am confident the right choice was made.

The staff are so friendly and informative. I worked myself up before coming in by reading about other people’s experiences with tattoo removal. Each session goes by so quick, even with a larger tattoo, and is not nearly as painful as I heard it would be. In my experience, it’s significantly less painful than receiving a tattoo

Just got through my second session and I’m glad my friends told me about this place. My initial consultation was extremely informative. I’ve seen before and after photos and given the age of my tattoos, I was told it would take 8-10 sessions. I signed up for a complete removal package with a fixed rate. The staff is extremely friendly and very thorough with the whole process. Yes it’s slightly painful depending on your pain tolerance but if you follow all the aftercare instructions and tips, you’re in for some quick results! I saw instant results after my first session. I’m so thrilled to have made this decision. Now I just have to be patient for the rest of my sessions. This place is friendly, clean, and everyone always makes me feel good from the moment I walk in.

Best place. Not only are the technicians great but my tattoo is fading! I’ve had a few different techs and each one has been caging and professional at their job. Customer service from Michael is above and beyond. Having such a great team overall is rare to see.

I have been working on complete removal of my tattoo here for some time. The process was explained very well and the staff is extremely thoughtful. It’s a big deal to make this decision after all. I was originally concerned with tattoo removal, like most people I was worried about pain and scarring. But removery felt different. The place I visited was comfortable and clean and the workers friendly and professional. An overall good experience for tattoo removal.I had consultation with Micheal, who was knowledgeable about our tattoo removal process. He was clear and upfront with our treament process, aftercare, and payment. Micheal informed me that because of a number of factors (my age, tattoo placement, amount/color of ink) I would see complete removal and little/no scarring.While the tattoo removal itself was painful and uncomfortable, my laser technician (Sam) was lovely. She prioritized my safety/comfort and we moved whenever I was ready. She walked me through aftercare and explained why the tattoo removal process is a long journey.

The entire staff at The Removery, from the few higher ups I’ve met (from the company and not necessarily this location) to the laser techs, to the people assisting clients with their scheduling and appointments, are well-trained and extremely helpful. Every step of the process has been a breeze. I’m three sessions into my treatment and already seeing progress, which is fantastic since it’s not the most pleasant feeling having a laser blast your tattoo away!Despite personally hating the feeling of getting treated, the experience is always pleasant and (thankfully) quick. I absolutely recommend The Removery to anyone that asks me about my own experience, and even though it’s painful, I always look forward to returning!I attached two photos; the first is of my arm before starting treatment, the second is a few days after my third.

I switched to Removery from LaserAway and thank GOD I did. Everything about it was better from the consultation to the treatment to their overall knowledge of how tattoo removal works.

I’m 7 sessions into the process and already seeing great results! No question, it is painful (to be expected) but I’ve found chomping on ice helps detract from the removal. Worth a shot! And the team at Removery is all really great and helpful!

Update 2/28/24: I continue to have a delightful, professional experience every time I go to Removery - Lincoln Park. The process is taking longer than the 10 sessions they initially quoted me, but I do believe the staff is taking my health and safety into top consideration which is why the process might be taking longer! Still recommend.Wow!!! I had the best experience ever at Removery. Effie welcomed me and got me all signed up, she’s so friendly! Monika directed me through the consultation, answered all my questions and explained how the technology of removing tattoos works. I think the full removal price option is highly competitive and affordable. Right after the consultation I was able to complete my first session. I was very scared but Monika is so empathetic and helped me through. The pain was minimal, and Monika made me feel so confident and strong during the session. I’m so happy with my choice to come here! I joked with Effie and Monika that getting my tattoo removed was FUN with them. Highly recommend!

The good the bad and the gritty.First off these one star comments about these lovely individuals attitudes are inaccurate. The manager is amazing. Every technician I’ve had was amazing. Very body positive, accepting, and friendly.This is expensive. This isn’t a cheap thing. If you are unhappy and hate what’s on your body it’s 1000% worth it. I’ve had some financial hardship these last few months and Removery has allowed me to reschedule some payments. It’s been an absolute blessing.It is NOT a pleasant thing to sit through. Obviously it’s a painful process you’re literally breaking apart ink. They do however let you take breaks, ice you, and blow cold air on it. I have a few I’m removing and color is definitely worse than all black. They also give you a stress ball to squeeze because you’re going to need it. Overall the feeling is like a fling of a rubber band… on repeat. It’s usually tolerable but not pleasant and hurts more than getting the tattoo.Overall I highly recommend this place. It truly is a clean, friendly, and caring place to work with.

Worst decision I’ve ever made coming here and spending $1,300 - besides wasting my hard earned Pennie’s: I also wasted time, energy and pain for nothing. You will not get results investing your money and time here. The staff will promise you the best results on your first session. I swallowed all of their lies! Do not make the same mistake I did. If you want your tattoo removed, please go somewhere else.

Staff is awesome! Very upfront and honest about pricing and what you need, never made me feel stupid about my stupid tattoo decision and very efficient equipment and procedure! Definitely recommend if youre in the market for removal or fading.Just had what I hope is my final appointment and you can barely even tell it was there! I walked in without an appointment and everyone there is so nice and took care of me on the spot. Cant say enough good things!

July 24 update: updating now that Ive had several more sessions at Removery (roughly 2/3 of the way through the lasering process). The black lines on my tattoos are very faded and in some spots nearly gone! Even the red colors are breaking up, despite being notoriously difficult to remove. My skin tone is roughly a 4 the Fitzpatrick scale and Im prone to hyperpigmentation, but that hasnt been an issue at all throughout this process. The laser nerds know what theyre doing and Im happy to be seeing them for the rest of my appointments. Special shout out Michael who is a delight to chat with every time!Original Review: had my first tattoo removal session at Removery after starting initial sessions at Vamoose back in the day & had the same great experience. Monica is the new (to me) office manager and also worked on my tattoos. Shes sooo personable, knowledgeable, and fun to work with, really eased me back into removal gracefully.Another note - they use a new Pico Way laser machine & the hype is real! Not sure about fading efficacy yet, but bandages are no longer necessary immediately after your apt & day-after swelling & pain is significantly reduced. I completed my workout class the next day no problem (whereas before Id have to adjust some movements due to discomfort).

Everyone is so nice and my tattoo has shown a lot of progress after 5 sessions. It’s red ink which is harder to remove so I’m glad I’ve seen progress.

I had dark tribal tattoos removed and we started seeing results after my first session. Be patient and trust the process. I like that you can go to any Removery because they are all connected, but the Lincoln Square location is my go to!

Love love love going here. It’s always weird having to show someone old, embarrassing tattoos but the team has always been ACES. I would trust no other team. Because of how cool they are I decided to take a leap and get another tattoo removed because I really wasn’t in love with it anymore and they always make me feel so comfortable and like I’m meeting up with friends. 20\10, would recommend. Also, the multiple locations nation wide helps so much so I don’t have to miss appointments when I’m out of town!

Getting a tattoo young doesn’t always work out but after some research I found the Removery. They made the process easy and as comfortable as possible. Monika and Effie are amazing. I may dread going in for the procedure sometimes, although not as painful as you really think, but I always leave smiling and excited to come back. It’s like asking a friends to do the process for you but still getting professionals and great work. I’m not near the end of the process yes but I see a drastic difference already in the fading of my tattoos.Would definitely recommend to anyone on the street and in my personal life.

I absolutely loved my laser technician, she couldnt have been any better! I will go back just for her. The problem was that the last 9 times I went I paid $174 per session for three of my tattoos Im now paying over $400 a session which is the craziest thing Ive ever heard. My original price should have been honored.

Cannot recommend this place enough if youre in the market for tattoo removal. I worked with Monika and she just made me feel really confident in my decision to begin the process of tattoo removal (which is not fun). She answered all my questions and I felt like she really cared about my experience (which is honestly more than I can say for some of the tattoo artists Ive worked with). Molly and Monika are top notch with customer service and always ensure all of the details about the procedure and payments are clear. I signed up for a total removal package with Monika and am really satisfied with the deep discount I got for buying several sessions in advance.And Sarah is the best tech anyone could ask for. She’s extremely knowledgeable about the machine and how it works with the body, including how the efficacy differs based on location of the tattoo, type of ink, etc. She’s very kind and patient too, so it’s easy to feel comfortable even when in the middle of the pain (which honestly isn’t THAT bad!).TL; DR: I highly recommend getting removal from Removery!

Monika was great! I went in to get my old powder brows/microblading removed and she was very thorough with the consultation and explaining all of the potential risks. The treatment is a bit spicy lol, but it was quick and Monica made me as comfortable as possible during the treatment and explained every step along the way. I am seeing results already and am excited to see the healed results. I also look forward to going back soon for my next treatment and highly recommend!

Just had my first session at Removery and I’m so incredibly happy with how everything turned out!! Initially thought I was coming in for a consult but they had time for my first session today! Super informative and patient with all my questions, super knowledgeable and made me feel very comfortable the whole process. I’m so excited for my next session!

It hurts but Effie is amazingly patient and goes at whatever pace you need. I’ve only had 2 sessions so far and I can def see an immediate difference.Update: Effie is no longer there but Anna was incredibly knowledgeable and patient and tho I had to take a long time off before resuming with my third session I have to say three sessions in this is pretty great and I haven’t even seen close to the full effects of this 3rd session! And even better it hurts way less as you go along! Totally worth it!

Only had 2 treatments and I am shocked at how it looks. Tattoo is peacing out real quick. They were helpful and informative at this location. Won’t lie, the process is not painless but it is very quick.

Monica and Elizabeth are great! Monica was really understanding and took her time doing my Laser. It hurt a lot and I kept asking her to stop, she was extremely patient and helped calm me the best she could. Elizabeth, was able to watch my baby. Since I couldn’t take her into the room with me. I had to take my baby with me because my baby sitter canceled last min on me. My baby tends to cry when she sees new faces but not with Elizabeth. They played for about 30 min during my session. I thought I’d come back out to seeing the baby sobbing but she was laughing and playing. These two ladies were extremely accommodating and patient with me and my baby. Thank you guys for the great hospitality.

Tattoo removal is really painful. There’s just no getting around that. But the staff at Removery, Effie in particular, make it as easy as possible. I’ve had 5 sessions and am really happy with how faded out my tattoos are so far, and the staff there has patiently answered every question I’ve had along the way.

I’ve only had a consultation but they were very thorough in explains the process. I am also of a dark skin tone so acknowledging that was really the most important part to me. Often these place practice and gear towards fair skin and don’t know how to handle dark pigment. The pricing seems reasonable as well. Definitely coming back once I’m ready to start my process.

Monica was really great with helping me, with explaining what and how everything would work. Made sure to check up on me during the laser treatment and let me go at my own pace and breaks when needed. Would recommend to anyone looking to get a tattoo removed.

I was happy with the service I had received, but as far as the amount of sessions to be able to complete what I asked of I think is ridiculous. I feel that it could be done sooner and the company just wants money so they schedule out more sessions. I am not happy about that. I am not trying to wait 2 years for a laser job to get done. I had went with another laser specialist that went over what was done and it looks like its fading already with the one time she went over it.

They are way overcharged. Been a vamoose customer for years paying 120 per session. After 3 sessions my tattoo was halfway gone and was told 6 sessions will remove my tattoo which I believed since Ive had incredible results using the q switched machine. However, now they are removery and their new prices are 340$ per session using the picosure machine which sucks in my opinion used this machine twice with no results and my tattoo looks darker. For these people to tell me that I will need 12 more sessions to fade the tattoo not remove it, really? What a joke of a place. Looks like they are in for the money not really to help a person remove the tattoo. Now I have to sit here with a tattoo half way removed what a waste of time and money.

Alexandra is amazing! She is so knowledgeable in what she does, and has superior customer service. The shop itself is clean, professional, and affordable! Despite it being a “painful” service Alex is quick and efficient so it’s always manageable. Highly recommend this place!

I just finished my 6th treatment.I have an older tattoo and it’s very dense,I’m realistic about the amount of time it might take to be completely removed but have seen impressive progress since I’ve started.Everyone here has been great to work with.Very kind and informative,they’re there if you need them at anytime.They gave me some good tips on how to treat the tattoo post procedure.Also the new laser machine is alot better than the previous one and that’s not to say it was bad but you can tell it’s made a big difference.I’m Looking forward to continuing the process 8 weeks from now.
