Ageless Arts Tattoo and Body Piercing

Myself and a couple of friends had booked a trip to Chicago and I looked up this place saw it had great views and decided to get a tattoo added to my sleeve. I was greeted by the receptionist who was very friendly. I liked how the consent forms were all set up via QR code I had met with Andres who was very professional and was able to take the idea I had and add his own style and ideas to make a masterpiece I would definitely come back! Thanks for a great experience.

Absolutely fantastic experience. Andres took the original image I wanted and put his own artistic flare on it. Clean, professional, and welcoming. Couldnt be happier with how it turned out. Ill definitely be back for more.

I would give this place 4.7 stars. The staff was friendly and they took their time to explain to me their pricing and recommendations. I would definitely come back again. This will probably be my new tattoo shop.

I knew I was going to Chicago to visit a friend and we all decided that we would go get tattoos while we were there. After calling a few places I decided that Ageless Tattoo would be the best place for the 3 of us to get tattoos. It was hard coordinating tattoos for 3 people and a piercing for two people let alone doing so from another state. I had to be persistent with making the phone calls and sending the information. However, once I locked in with Charly, she really helped me get the appointments set which I really appreciated. They seem to be busy every day but now I know why. I had the most memorable and pleasant experience with Sergei for a memorial tattoo that I wanted to do for my mother. I sent ideas that I really didnt want but had some of the elements I wanted. I couldnt articulate what I really wanted. When Sergei showed me what he came up with I literally cried. It captured the essence of what I wanted. Unbeknownst to him, 4 days later made it 13 years that I lost my mother to cancer. Sergei was very kind, gentle, detailed, hygienic, and sanitary. This was my first tattoo and this piece meant a lot to me. He made me feel comfortable and I really appreciated it. Patricio did my conch piercing which hurt more than the tattoo to me but he was kind, patient, and professional as well. I love the ambience and artwork Ageless has on the outside and inside of their establishment. They also have an array of beautiful jewelry to choose from. I plan on going back to Chicago and I hope to have Sergei do another memorial tattoo which would be for my grandmother. I will also bring a lot more money with me to purchase some jewelry. I wanted a nose ring for quite a ling time. One of my friendsrecently got a piercing and i was admiring it. She said she went toAgeless due to issues was experiencing with the piercing shereceived at a different palor and extremely satisfied with the careand service received. Im over 65 and after her story i decided nowor never. I was a walk-in. I received great customer service mypiercer Alexandra, explained everything to me, helpedme select my jewel, completed the piercing and provided me aftercare instructions.If you’re like me and are Finally ready to take the next step AgelessIs a great place to go and ask for Alexandra if you want a piercing.I have not experienced any issues.

Customer service was great. The shop had a welcoming atmosphere and plenty of options for body jewelry. I was in and out in no time, and I felt very informed, comfortable, and safe the entire time. 10/10 experience, would definitely recommend!

I went in for a piercing and this place was definitely a great pick. Super niceplace, overall vide was super cool and the people there were extremely friendly. A little pricey, however their craftsmanship was totally worth and they are more than happy to help you find something in your price range. I had a lot of fun and will definitely come back again.

I got 3 piercings from Lylia. Shes an incredible piercer with excellent technique. They were practically painless and extremely smooth, I was shocked at how amazing she was, Ive had other piercers do similar piercings but her expertise is insane.Shes fully knowledgeable about anatomy, incredibly patient, and honestly very comfortable to be around. Her studio felt so positive, comforting, and safe, and Im honestly gushing at this point but Im speechless at how great my experience was.My piercings are healing incredibly well and I cant thank her enough. Amazing experience, I cant emphasize enough how highly I recommend Lylia, just the best experience Ive ever had with any body modification, especially as someone with low pain tolerance. Highly recommend working with her no matter if its your first or 50th poke!

Absolutely loyal our tattoo person was very nice and respectful. He talked to us and gave a good consultation before even tattooing us. Me, my mom and sister got matching breast cancer tattoos in honor of our mom. I forgot his name but I know his last name started with a W. Thanks again for the hospitality.

I’m a long term customer, usually get piercings, but yesterday I got my first tattoo and the experience was better than expected.

5 stars all around! The shop, the location, the artists, the work. It was all amazing. Hope was able to figure out my exact idea, even when it was hard for me to articulate. She specializes in water color and was able to cover a surgical scar. And I am smitten! The picture was taken as soon as she was finished.

I got a tattoo done by Cauahtemoc, and he did a great job with my tattoo I love it! The attention to detail was incredible the tattoo came out perfectly. Truly the best work i’ve seen, on top of that the service and treatment i received during my tattoo appointment was on point and very kind i highly recommend it. Beautiful job well done can’t wait to go back and get another tattoo. Only thing that I’d say was a bit upsetting is that he takes his time doing other things or he says be here at this time but then he’s not here yet so you gotta wait on him had a friend of mine come at 10:00am early so the numbing cream could be applied b/c the appointment is at 11 it hit 11:20am and the numbing cream had yet to still be applied mind you the numbing cream has to be put on at least an hour for it to be affective aside from this small issue everything went perfectly, they also do piercings here as well so that’s pretty cool.

Ageless Arts is a great place. The artists are professional, friendly, & the whole place is very welcoming, comfortable & mellow. My tattooist, Hope, is amazing! She did wonderful grayscale work for a realistic-style bluejay, & was great to work with. Im glad I chose her for my first tattoo. Ill be back for more!

Got piercings done with my friend today; such compassionate and welcoming people, which made the experience so positive. We had amazing conversations. Super clean, too!

I got a nipple piercing back in January and honestly they weren’t that welcoming to me. The nipple piercing is very painful and scary to get so i wanted to hold someone hand. they acted like it was a issue like they didn’t want to touch me. i’m like ok maybe covid thing . the dude who did my piercing he was big and hispanic and it was a lady too she was also hispanic in the room with me and they both just had attitudes. he didn’t even get me a bar that was long frl and wanted to do my piercing again ! dude no ! my nipple piercing barely shows and gets infected too easily. it’s been a couple of months and i only have the left piercerd even though i got both done. they charge a lot just for the jewelry it’s self. idk the energy was just weird and rushed.

I was a walk in Hope did an amazing job on my tattoo. It looks great. I will be going back for any other tattoos I need. Everyone was so friendly.

Sarah was the BEST! She was kind professional and confident at what she does. I was terrified of getting my dermal removed and she did it in 20 seconds, made me feel very comfortable and it’s healing great! Thanks again!

Met with Danny for a consultation and he is very professional and helpful in designing the idea I had. He really takes the time to listen to what you want and work around your ideas. I have been here for all of my tattoos and have had a great experience every time.

Pricing for piercings is insanely expensive. There are other places around Little Village with more reasonable prices for piercings. Piercing I got was done pretty bad and does not lay flush against skin. Also could not removed balls of piercing at all to change it, not sure what they did. The experience was also pretty bad probably the most painful piercings Ive ever gotten, no proper care after either. Piercer also gave me wrong information about my piercings. I would not recommend especially when a single piecing was over $150.

Antonette was very pleasant and helpful. I came in to get a replacement nose ring. I felt comfortable with her. I also had gotten a tatttoo there as well.

Sarah was WONDERFUL! She was great at helping me decide what I wanted and what jewelry would be best! She did a lobe stack for me, 2 forward helix and an earring change. Super sweet and professional. Would highly recommend!

I came to Ageless Arts when my fiancé was in the hospital fighting for his life and wanted an X-wing fighter in honor of him and Mauricio did an amazing job! Then two weeks later I came back to Mauricio for another tattoo when my fiancé lost his battle and passed away. I wanted a tattoo to keep him with me always. I would give 0 stars if possible. I went in to get my nose pierced. Full disclosure, I had went a week prior to Jade Dragon Tattoo & Piercing to get a nose piercing WITH Jewelry included for $50. They did a wonderful job, problem was I ended up pulling the ring out of my nose while I was sleep. After I woke up I tried for hours to put it back in and couldnt. So I was disappointed bcuz I liked the piercing a lot and couldnt really believe I pulled it out during my sleep like a weirdo.I was heading south yesterday, 6.15.2024, so I decided to look up piercing places to get my nose re-pierced as I traveled. Jade Dragon is far north of where I stay. I scheduled an appt with Ageless, all of which has to be done online and paid my $50 via card to complete my appt booking.I arrived to the studio 15/20 minutes early, and the young lady had me fill out a digital release form while she opened the shop. The shop is BEAUTIFUL. The art/atmosphere/jewelry is beautiful. However, not a single piece of jewelry has a price on it. The young lady directed me to browse the jewelry to see what I liked. I selected a few pieces and shared w her. She then started looking through a computer and her phone to see prices for the jewelry, which to me, meant the prices were about to be made up, or better yet/researched and then inflated. Not necessarily by her, but by the owner. You know how you go to the store and see an item, then do a quick amazon search to see if the store has the lower price or if you can find it online. I felt like I was watching the reverse process.Long story short, the first few pieces of jewelry that I chose were $110 plus, not including the $50 piercing fee I had already paid. I let the young lady know that the prices were not in my price range and that I needed to see her lowest options. She showed me the basic nose ring studs, which themselves were starting at $50, again not including the $50 for the piercing for which I had already paid.I let the young lady know that I had just gotten my nose pierced not even a week ago at Jade Dragon, jewelry included for $50, and tried to show her my scar which was already healing. I asked her if she could reach out to the Mgr to see what he could do, otherwise I would probably have to cancel.In my mind, I though the young lady was going to call the Mgr, and he was going to offer me a basic stud for $20-30. Which STILL was too much considering I had just had the exact procedure done w jewelry at a reputable Chicago establishment for $50 total. Even then in my mind I was thinking that I didnt want to do that deal, but it would make sense and be a fair bargain. The Mgr spoke w the young lady responded back that the manager/owner stated that on the release papers for appointments it clearly states no refunds.I didnt even argue. I immediately understood that the owner was more interested in being money hungry, than actually providing quality business that makes sense, and listens to the customers needs. I told the young lady, in ear shot of another artist/piercer the following: You know its really irresponsible to require people to pay for bookings upfront, and then not even provide price estimates of jewelry in any of your display cases. Something to that effect.I would NOT recommend this business. I was provided zero of the services I signed up for. the shop used zero of its resources, needles, spray, time, etc... to process my order. And the owner didnt even take time to understand the customers situation/need/ and legitimate pushback for their price gauging.Jade Dragon Tattoo & Piercing is a legendary studio here in Chicago. What on earth makes you think you can mark up a nose piercing procedure 100% market value, with not a single price range marked in the store, and then when the customer brings it up and actually wants a better more reasonable deal you immediately highlight that the appointment booking paperwork states no refunds for cancellations.BTW my appt was booked 2 hours before procedure. 24 hour notice policy cant even be in effect.

I did a quick walkin in. The staff were very friendly, it was very sanitized shop. The tattoo artist was very sweet, it was a great experience for getting my first tattoo!!

Everyone is cool here and very welcoming. Came in as a walk in and was treated like I had an appointment. Tattoo was over decent. I’m definitely coming back again for some more.

My boyfriend and I made an in person appointment on Monday of this week. We spoke to the person directly who would be doing his tattoo and he said he was available at 10:30am Thursday. My tattoo artist was scheduled to do mine at the same time. We showed up Thursday at our appointment time. We waited for over 20 minutes and they still hadnt showed. We were able to get a refund with the nice lady who works as a piercer there. Since we paid 100 each for a deposit. Then the guy called my boyfriend and told him the tattoo artists dont get in til 12.... When we spoke to him IN PERSON that Monday and he said he could at 1030. He didnt take any responsibility for his lack of commitment to a client and a time he agreed worked for him. As for my tattoo artist, I have no idea. I guess half of the staff doesnt check their appointments for the following day when they are in. I wanted to give 1 star but the lady that helped us was very respectful and understanding and was able to get us our refund. I cant say that their tattoo quality is poor. But I guess just be picky with who you get to do it and dont expect them to follow through.

A friend and I did a walk in...early in the morning. The artist took us back to back. Quality work. My tattoo was small...detailed and tedious work that he accomplished very well. He took his time...no rush. And also gave me feedback on some cover up on some scars I have. For me to reveal that insecurity shows a level of trust because of the work he displayed.

Alexandra was amazing! She made the experience incredibly easy and comfortable. I definitely recommend her for your piercing.

Sergey did a portrait of my dog and he did such an amazing job! I called first and talked with Macy and she was so helpful and attentive and was really working with me and sergey to figure out how the tattoo was going to come out. Super nice people, super clean salon! I will always come back here for future tattoos and have sergey do them. Highly recommend!

I was very nervous about my tongue piercing.They made it a breeze. The needle went in like butter, baby!!! I was shook to find out that it was over, I thought my tongue was still clamped with the tool. the whole time, it was the tongue ring already on there! Would get it pierced 10+ more times🫵🤣 if youre looking for a sign, THIS IS IT!

In the beginning I almost didnt change out my jewelry because I couldnt bring in my own jewelry I had to purchase theres and how my piercer attitude was but I went ahead and did it anyway. Got two piercings here. Love the piercings. Very friendly staff. My piercer Charly was very professional and kind. Knowledgeable guided me through the process, made me feel at ease. The piercings are a bit pricey but I think they are real gold so the nicer the piercing the more expensive it will be. Definitely going back. Recommend 10/10.I had to come back cause I loved this place so much just from my first time. Second time was for a tat & septum. Sarah did my septum she was amazing. She did have to re-pierce because it was crooked & I was okay with that because it would definitely bug me to look at it everyday if crooked lol I was very surprised that it wasn’t as painful as I imagined. My helix definitely hurt way more. & the jewelry is in fact real gold, hence the price, but they do have non gold as well if you prefer that. Angel was my tattoo artist & he took his time, the lines are perfect, the shading, everything just so beautiful & well made. I do tend to go to different artists every time I get new tats because they all have their own spin on their work & I love to see that on my body. I really liked Angel’s vibe. I will definitely be getting a second tat from him soon.

The guy that pierced my ear pierced my ear twice and caused a bump to form and it never healed right and rejects every jewelry that touches it went to another piercer and they said they messed it up so bad that I should just get rid of the piercing. 😾

Awesome atmosphere. Patient, well knowledgeable and competent artists. They were able to work the 3 of us in on short notice. We had Claudio Acuna and Cuauhtemoc Padilla. Acuna did the cross/verse and my wrist verses and crown of life. Padilla did the colored rose and note. 5 stars is not enough to describe the experience.

Charly’s work is perfectionistic and the service was great! He was very reassuring and patient, and super clean. He talked me through the process to make sure I was comfortable and relaxed, even when my sugar dropped. His process is so healing, I am so grateful or that. I actually walked out feeling lighter, and completely obsessed with my piercings! I plan to come back.

The nicest group of people i have ever met. it is my only day out in town this week and it was a super last minute idea, but i went to their website filled out the booking questionnaire and they got to me within minutes with availabilities. I had let them know i was only in town today and they said no problem and to come on by before a certain time. they took in some of my friends as walk-ins no problem. amazing prices and overall one of the best experiences i have ever had. plan on coming back for future body art.

Charly really took his time to explain the process, make sure I liked the placement, and that I was comfortable. Alex, the apprentice was wonderful as well! Shes been in the business for over 9 years and also just a bright soul ✨️ Loved getting to know her and once these heal im going to get my other ear done. My experience here was amazing. It was my first tattoo and I felt comfortable the entire time and my tattoo came out exactly the way I saw it in my head. The artist I had, Rodrigo, did such a good job and always checked up on me. 10/10 experience for sure.

I came in with the intentions of getting one nostril piercing done but the way Charly and Alex made me feel I left with both of my nostrils pierced and very happy. Charly and his apprentice made this experience very relaxing. If this is your first piercing and you’re nervous about it recommend coming to them!

Eduardo was professional, funny, and made me feel at ease as I was getting an eyebrow piercing and I had never had one before. Would 10/10 recommend him to anyone looking to get pierced and was super helpful with after care information. Will be going back to get more! Also, the place was super clean which is always something I look for in a tattoo or piercing place.

Great experience getting my sternum tattooed with Danny. I was a bit worried about pain due to location of tattoo but Danny made it a very pain free and comfortable experience. He made it a point to consistently check in with me to ensure I was feeling comfortable or if I needed a break. Really appreciated him also being mindful and respectful of my body despite tattoo placement. The vibe of the shop is great and after only 4 hours I know I will be returning again to get a few more pieces done. Danny is amazing and I’m looking forward to continuing to work with him and the other artists at the shop.

I recently worked with Eduardo and had an exceptional experience. The shop is clean, professional, and the staff are wonderful. This place is amazing, but most importantly Charlie was! Not only did he do an amazing job with my piercings but his customer service was the best! He made me feel so comfortable and safe (considering they were nip piercings) and was super informative on everything. He made sure to answer any questions I had but also made sure to keep me calm. I lost my current end piece to one of my threadless labret studs from my stacked earlobe piercing. I looked online to see which tattoo and/or piercing shops had titanium end pieces. This location was close, so I went there to check their jewelry section. They had a nice array of piercing jewelry. The ladies there were very nice and helped me find the correct end piece. The price was fair.

Great work from the artist. He was doing fine but the manager there seemed like she was pushing him to hurry up and I wasnt comfortable with that. I was in the chair for 7 hours and every hour shed walk around and ask if he was almost done and when he said he needs more time she looked disappointed.

My main man, Doc Zuni Avery, was there for a couple days, and he always does the work I need to map out scar tissue, which had been covered up from my experience on Flight 232, prior to any surgeries. Hes the best out there!In addition, it was awesome to meet the people there. The owner could not have been more welcoming and friendly! The whole shop could not have been more welcoming! Just an awesome opportunity for me to find another awesome place! Far better than anything Ive ever been to, and the only thing I could compare it to is were Doc Zuni used to work before he left the Chicago area.So my hats off to YOU ageless arts TATTOO!Peace and love!

This place was very unprofessional to the degree where is a potential customer ask for pricing and rates , they took 20 mins to address our inquiries, but they didn’t have someone that was bilingual who spoke English to tell us about the unknowlege , No precise timing and availability and only to tell us each piece is a minimum of 10 hours / $250 very absurd and unprofessional to only go somewhere else. You guys were even unfriendly to speak to anyone.

Got my septum piercing here a few years ago by Mario. He was very engaging and made sure I was comfortable and relaxed. He took much care to make sure the piercing was done correctly. He gave me good aftercare info. Recommended a family member to this shop as she wanted a nostril piercing. She had it done in the past a few times and it always rejected. When she went to Ageless she had no problems and it healed nicely.

This place is awesome! Clean and Speedy Service. My daughter and I came here to get her a bar for her ear. After the consult we changed our mind about the bar. So instead she got a helix piercing and it is so freaking cute on her!!! Charlie is the guy that did it for her. Hes so amazing! I will be back for more. Have tried to get service at this place 7 times since I moved into the neighborhood. Every time I call or even walk into this place I get turned around, or told I should not get anything done because of some excuse. I usually know exactly what I want. I’m always ready with cash and card. Yet for some reason they keep telling me no. Starting to think it’s a political issue. All of the people who look like me are always complaining about the same things with this shop.

DO NOT go to Eduardo. My friend and I (both women, not sure if this was a factor) went to get pierced. Eduardo was very creepy towards us, made several comments that made us feel that he was trying to “dominate” us and our conversation between my friend and me. I went to get my ears pierced and he told me to take off my mask. When I tried to put my mask back on he aggressively said “Don’t do that” which was very uncomfortable since I want to stay protected. My friend went in for a septum piercing and I noticed that while Eduardo was piercing her that he messed up the first time (it didn’t go all the way through) and it was obvious that he knew as well because he said “I’m so sorry about that” and then proceeded to finish her piercing. She bled so much because of this and became light headed. He said several times that he didn’t know why she was bleeding so much and implied that it was her fault that she was bleeding. When she asked for a napkin to hold to her nose, because it was bleeding so much, he refused to hand it to her and said every time that he’ll do it for her. A LOT OF UNNECESSARY AND UNCOMFORTABLE PHYSICAL CONTACT. Eduardo also did not use a mask the entire time we were there.

I went in to get two piercings. Charlie did my surface tragus on one side and my tragus in the other ear. The shop was really clean and he made sure I understood the process. He sterilized the jewelry, and I was able to see this. He also cleaned both areas before piercing. Overall, everything was clean and professional. I experienced little to no pain. I recommend this place to everyone. You will receive quality care and jewelry.

Came in a few nights ago to get my snake bites done. 4/5/18 to be exact and had the pleasure of meeting Eddie and having my work done by him. Very professional and knowledgeable as far as addressing my questions and concerns. Its now day 2 and the swelling in my lip has tripled in size. I have been cleaning and rinsing as instructed. Will adjust review after i see him and get his opinion.

Absolutely love this place!!! I came here to pierce my ears, sounds basic but I have gauges and it was difficult for me to find a location that can handle the task. When I had my consultation they gave me great advice and did the job perfect!! Loved everything about this place including the music!

First off let me say I went here because of all the great reviews that I saw. I went to a previous shop to have a tattoo done on my wrist and it cost me $45 and still looks amazing. Went here with my best friend to get one word (believe) on my middle finger. He said normally it would be $65 but he charged me $55. Outrageous for the simple word I got but I went ahead on because I didnt have anywhere else to get to. He gave great service and it was over fast. Too fast if you ask me. When it started to heal parts of the word disappeared. I no longer have the last two letters of the word and the b is missing the bottom. Also there is no dot above the I. It looks like I have the word Belle. When I called he said he would charge me $10 to fix it. Normally I would say fine but no not after I have paid $55 and I should have only had to come once. That is outrageous to me. Although he did warn me that finger tattoos fade it should not have faded in two weeks. It just wasnt done properly. Needless to say I will not be returning to get it fixed or any future services. I will just head to someone else. Your experience may be better than mine but for the money that I spent I didnt receive satisfaction.

Eddie is an AMAZING piercer and person....the customer reviewing under “Erica” about how Eddie had poor customer service broke a window because she was drunk and Eddie refused to pierce her. Definitely recommend this spot to anyone looking for clean quality service.

I went in today for the monroe piercing, even though I wanted the medusa (just learned the name of that) but family convinced me it would look weird, lol , and charlie was super nice, professional, and patient (I was kinda nervous, even though Ive had several piercings and gauges). He even offered to see if the hole in my tongue was still open (and stretched it) and charge only for the jewelry. I would highly recommend this place. I am definitely going here again!
