If you are looking for someone who is extremely aware of the field and all things tattoos, Angela Koscal. If you are looking for an artist who can take all of your ideas out of your head and draw it out for you and make it look even better than you imagined, Angela Koscal. There is nobody better. Every time I tattoo with her I learn something about skin care and tatting etc. She never ceases to amaze me with her talent. She has been doing this for about 18 years and its truly her calling. I will for sure be getting much more work done with her. She has a great energy and vibe as well.

This has been the best tattoo experience I’ve had in years! The staff is incredibly professional! I worked with Angela and I LOVE my tattoo! The rest of the staff was amazing as well! Sarah and Chelsea made me feel right at home and Joe the owner was awesome! The shop is 100% gay friendly and a safe place to get tattooed! They followed Co-Vid standards to a t! I would reccomend them to anyone!

One of the best experiences I’ve had. Angela is pro at what she does. I had the Serenity Tattoo done after sis pass. Angela took time with me and I ended getting such a beautiful tattoo. Definitely check out!

Dark Heart is a phenomenal tattoo shop with a diverse group of extremely talented artists. There will always be an artist who understands your vision, and will take extra care to make sure youre comfortable and educated on the tattoo process. Ive had the pleasure of visiting both the Crystal Lake shop, and the Chicago shop, and Im blown away by the quality of work every time! Joe - the owner is very charismatic and welcoming, not to mention an amazing artist, however my favorite artist is Chelsea! She is extremely professional, intuitive, talented, not to mention an easy person to spend several hours in a chair with! Her work is gorgeous and always exceeds expectations!
