Erica is an AMAZING artist. I got my second done by her today and she’s always so courteous and kind. Last time I nearly passed out (totally my fault for not eating a great breakfast) but she was so nice about it and gave me a little break. Two tattoos with more planned! The first is Mothman and the second is Alphonse from Fullmetal Alchemist with her twist and style!

I decided to try a guest artist that was staying at Evergreen Studios. Although the tattoo came out very beautiful, my simple tattoo took 3 hours. The guest tattoo artist was vague about their hourly rate and waited until after the tattoo was done to inform me of the rate that I was charged. I left feeling taken advantage of by this guest and out of $1,000. Especially for a 5in (13cm) tattoo.I relayed my experience to the owner, Emily, and she was quick to acknowledge my complaint and dealt with the issue promptly. For that, I am very grateful.

I worked with B and it was a wonderful experience! This was my first tattoo and B showed clear professionalism and a desire to make me feel comfortable from beginning to end. I got a larger and more complex design, and even though they did a sketch beforehand, they took the time to contour the design to my body and played with the placement of the shapes to get it just right. They checked in on my comfort level frequently and talked me through every step. The tattoo turned out absolutely beautiful and was worth every penny.

Emily is the best floral tattoo artist in Chicago and you cannot convince me otherwise. If youre looking for gorgeous work in a comfortable, professional studio - Evergreen Studios is the place for you. Ive been coming back to Emily for years adding onto her gorgeous work. I consistently get compliments on her delicate and beautiful art. The atmosphere of the studio is relaxed, super clean, and professional. Absolutely amazing! I had moon do my tattoo. She was quick, light handed and so amazing to talk to. Her fine lining is amazing and I love the colors she used.

Alex is a Rockstar. Ive gotten 3 tattoos from Alex and each one was better than the last. The studio is extremely clean, well kept, and super friendly. All of the ladies there are beyond talented.

Bethany was my tattoo artist, she is absolutely wonderful and Im so happy and pleased with my tattoo. It started with my sketch/ideas and she brought to life in her beautiful style. This was my first time at Evergreen Studios and 3rd tattoo with a 13 year gap from the last one. Had such a positive experience with Bethany. I felt no pressure, only support and empowerment. The space is very clean and wide open. I am already thinking about planning my next tattoo. My tattoo is beautiful and delicate (what I wanted!). I had a wonderful experience with Yulia at Evergreen Studios. As a first-time tattoo recipient, she did an excellent job guiding me through the process. She covered off on all of the things a tattoo newbie might forget to think of, such as ink color, ink depth, placement, skin creasing, etc. Not only was the finished product gorgeous, but the entire experience was calm, relaxing, and thorough. I HIGHLY recommend this artist and studio to first-timers; theyll guide you through the process and leave you with a beautiful piece for life!

Evergreen Studios is hands down the best tattoo studio Ive ever been to. The space and artists are so welcoming and its always a great experience! Emily, the owner and one of the artists here is so talented!! Both tattoos Ive gotten from her are so intricate and detailed, and I kid you not when I say I get stopped often when Im out to be asked who created these pieces. I cant wait to be back!

You HAVE to go see Emily at Evergreen Studios! She is so incredibly talented and makes you feel super comfortable in the studio. Ive lost count of the number of times strangers have come up to me to compliment my tattoo or ask where I got it, and Ive only had it for 3 months! I had wanted my iris back piece for over 10 years, but because of the meaning and symbolism behind the tattoo, I wanted to be selective with who I chose to work with. When I found Emily I absolutely knew that I could trust her with my piece. I couldnt be happier with the work she did on my first tattoo and I immediately went back to her for my second piece. Emily puts so much care and effort into her work and really listened to what I wanted. I highly recommend her!

Wow. While we didnt natively come in to see a resident, and had our favorite out of town artist Amy Zager do the work (shes currently native to San Leandro CA, go get ink if youre around there), but what an amazing place. Gorgeous repurposed warehouse (like most here) with an open layout, super chill vibe, totally relaxing all while making you feel super private with your artist. Female owned and run business was an added bonus, these girls do not mess around. Everyone is very open and welcoming and attentive, we truly felt cared for as a canvas for such important projects. Very highly recommend, will absolutely hope to be back sooner than later.

This is by far the best tattoo studio I have been in. It’s clean and bright and open and welcoming while also maintaining a feeling of intimacy and privacy. Every artist in this space is incredibly talented and friendly. I’ve recommended this studio to anyone I know.

Love this studio! I got a tattoo by Seulgee in May and I’m obsessed with it! The environment of the studio was very chill and the whole process was clearcut and easy. Definitely recommend!

Every day I am overcome with happiness at all the beauty Emily has bestowed upon my body. Emily is an amazing artist and has been able to beautifully translate my minds ideas into incredible tattoos.
