Came in here today for a nose piercing and originally wanted it pierced with a specific type of jewelry( I don’t remember the name). The guy gave me the run down on why he wouldn’t recommend doing it with that. He was very informative and ultimately told me that it was my decision on which one I would go with at the end of it. I definitely appreciated that and ended up going with what he recommended. Just in case bring cash or a physical card they have multiple signs up that state no Apple Pay. Super nice and I was in and out. Will definitely be back.

Mario is an exceptional tattoo artist. His creativity, precision, and technical skills create unique and meaningful body art. He always maintains high standards of hygiene and professionalism. I have had several tattoo’s done by Mario, I get many compliments on his work. In my opinion he is the best tattoo artist, I always leave extremely happy with his work.

Im sorry I just saw somebody post something negative about the shop and its so sad because people dont get their way or dont like something they want to sit here and bash a business. Mario is a great person, very professional and great on his prices and he works with you. Ive been going to him 10 years and Ive never had any issues. Always leave there with a smile ❤️

My daughters and I had a great experience. The staff were very patient, understanding & nice. I believe the piercer name is Mario, hes very thorough with doing piercings. He gave clear instructions on how to take care of the piercings.

I have been going to Mario for almost 10 years for piercings. Always kind, informative, clean and professional. His prices are very reasonable as well. The only place I go for piercings!

I had called and asked if they did hand tattoos because I was interested in coming here. I simply just wanted to know if they did hand tattoos but the girl who picked up the phone literally laughed and said it was pointless + waste of time + you have to do touch ups and its a lot of money, blah blah blah.. before then finally answering my question that they indeed do hands tatoo. thanks for giving me your 2¢s that I never asked for! What kind of person discourages a potentional customer??? Are you stupid? Just unprofessional. ANYWAYS, Jade Dragon Tattoos does hand tattoos and the receptionist know how to do their job professionally!

Such a great experience here. I’ve gotten 4 piercings from Mario and they’ve all been perfectly done without issue. Stopped by on a Friday and he accommodated a next day tattoo appointment for me and my sister. Professional, clean, and very well done. Great experience and friendly staff! Would absolutely go back again.

Piercings are cheap :] i wouldnt go back though bc the people there were kind of weird. I had a piercing that i was already struggling to take care of due to depression. my friend brought me there so i could wait for them to get one done. they asked me if i also wanted to get one and i told them no i dont think i can take care of another rn. because self care is hard when youre mentally ill and i dont want to waste my money until im sure i can follow through.the woman working behind the desk started laughing when i said that. i dont really think working with piercings/tattoos makes anyone too cool for empathy or understanding. just a weird and uncomfortable interaction.

Online says 8:30 but they close way earlier! Misleading! Definitely not customer service friendly….. honor your hours online instead of having customers come before 8:30 and you turn them around for a 2minute piercing.. wouldn’t recommend!

AWESOME! Mario was quick and informative. Never had a tongue piercing and after talking to him for a few minutes he put my mind at ease. The young lady at the desk (forgot her name) was nice & friendly. Definitely going back for tatts and more piercings as well as recommending them.

Piercing was quick, sanitary, and cheap. They let me keep the stud for free which was nice because other places around here charge a fortune just for the stud. No signs of infection which tells me they keep it clean and professional here. I wish they had more options for jewelry but can’t complain. I’ll come here again for sure.

I went here to get my nose re-pierced through my initial hole which is very obvious to see up close. The piercing artist managed to pierce directly the initial hole somehow. Instead of taking any accountability for the job being done incorrectly, blamed was placed on me by the piercing artist and the receptionist who answered the phone and asked me why didn’t I address this at the moment I was getting my nose re-pierced. To be clear, if I asked to get a piercing directly through the first initial hole, what would make you assume anything other than that? Make it make sense! I wouldn’t recommend or go back to this establishment ever.

While in Chicago I decided to get a dermal. Did Google search and found shops that do piercings. Call a few spots and came across Forever Ink. Called for appointment and pricing, came in a few hours later. The gentleman that did my dermal made me feel comfortable. He explained everything as he was doing it. I was expecting it to be painful, however it wasnt. Process was quick and felt like a pinch, slight sting with a little pressure. I literally winced twice and was ready to do another one after. (I didnt tho 😂) He advise I wait until this one heals. He also explained after care answering all my questions. Pricing included jewelry $50! Im very pleased with the process and my new piercing! I was there for maybe 15mins or less. I absolutely recommend!!!Edit: about a few days or so later got black eye due to piercing (this is normal). I just keep it clean with alcohol wipes and a&d ointment. Bruising and swelling went away about a week later. Also seems to be healing perfectly.

Very professional staff, tattoo artist/owner (Mario) did a fantastic job on my tattoo and gave me a fair, competitive price and was so nice. We had a pleasant conversation while he completed my tattoo ! Ill be going there from now on for my tattoos and would recommend them for tattoos and piercings!

I had a nose piercing done a week ago at this location. I almost didn’t get it done because the receptionist looked annoyed and was not very friendly. She didn’t greet my partner and I, she just asked what we needed when we walked to the desk. She stated for me to give her my Id and informed us that my partner would have to stay up front while I got the piercing which that part was fine but the tone and body language was not very pleasant. Then piercer however was very friendly which made the experience a little better. Fast forward to today we walk in the shop my friend and I. She’s there for a nose piercing. We were greeted we spoke first letting them know she needed a piercing. The piercer informs me that if I’m not getting anything I have to wait outside due to covid which was different than last week. In my head I’m like ok. I began to inform him that my piercing was sinking underneath my skin and he walked me to the back to fix it long story short. Afterwards while leaving from the back my friends head to the back to get her piercing and there’s a couple in the lobby which is Latino. I did not hear the receptionist tell them that they have to wait outside but, while I stop to zipped my purse she made sure to say you have to wait outside like I didn’t get that same memo when I first came into the shop less than 10 minutes prior. They will never have to worry about me again. I feel no one deserves treatment like that where you spend your money.

I called in to see if they were open and able to do nose piercings around 5 o’clock and I’ll show up to the shop around 6 o’clock and they’re closed. Open till eight and I had just got off the phone with an employee there, but when I showed up it was close.

Mario is super cool. He gives it to you straight and doesnt sugar coat it about what you want to do, whether its a fresh tatt, cover up, or piercings. The receptionist is a feisty one, but also very cool😁. Love these guys.

First time I came here it was for a nose piercing. The woman was really nice she explained how it would feel and then afterwards what I should do for aftercare. The nose piercing healed beautifully, so I decided to go back for a septum piercing this time it was done by Mario. He was really nice and funny, very professional and he even let me off the hook when I told him that I had came there before to get my nose pierced and received a card for a free piercing after 5 piercings and I mentioned that I actually threw it away. Lol. He gave me another card and punched two holes for me. He was very caring and pierced my septum perfectly. Before leaving he told me how to take care of it just as the lady did. I will definitely be going back when I get my first tattoo, their so nice I wouldnt want to go anywhere else.

Went with my best friend ten minutes before closing and the piercer made time for us. We each got 2 piercings. The place was clean and the Piercer was kind and talked us through it. Will definitely recommend!

My wife and I went to get pierced here just yesterday I got snake eyes n she got her nose done which turned out great she loves it. This is the third time Ive had my tongue done, thanks to cook countys finest, 👮🏾‍♂️ so i was a bit nervous thinking how much worse it would be bc of scare tissue but it wasnt bad and tbh it feels more comfortable than the other two times frfr albeit his no clamp method was different but the guy knew his stuff n I still dont know how he did it! Either way Ill b going here again for more n definitely recommending to others...thanks guys!

Easy and fast. Cool they took walk ins and I was out in less than 15. Also not like some other shops where they make you make pay all this extra stuff just to get it done.

I really like coming here. I came to Mario since I was 18, and had him do my first piercing. A few years later; I got my first tattoo done by him. Great job, and awesome work.

Worst experience ever. Piercer/owner is never in the shop. He made me wait an hour and once he got here he said he wouldnt do my tattoo because I was complaining. Completely unprofessional and complete waste of time. If you want a $20 piercing go to the Tat Cave. DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME!!!!

I got my smiley done here, and they made me feel right at home. I was super nervous, but they joked and talked through the whole thing which made it that much easier. I would definitely go back for any future piercings!

The guy who did my tattoo was fresh from Puerto Rico and had a very thick accent. I didnt judge him for that though but Im not gonna lie a was a bit nervous as he needed me to keep repeating myself because he wasnt understanding my words and my spanish isnt fluent. I specifically wrote out exactly what I wanted to be written on my lower back and he totally misspelled the words. I didnt even realize it until my boyfriend at the time pointed it out when I got home. So I called the artist the next day and he was at least nice about it and offered to fix it and every thing else came out nicely but I was highly pissed because I drove a long way to and from the shop and paid a lot for a college student on a tight budget. I dont like when my time and money is messed with it wasted.

Mario always takes his time. He makes sure you are happy with way your tattoo will looks. I would not go to anyone else.

Overall experience was good, got my first tattoo here.Very polite and patient tattoo artists--I was a walk-in and they made time for me.

I recommend this place to anyone getting a tattoos in black and white, lettering, and with particular artists, intricate coloring and design of a tattoo. Great for piercings. Sterile all around.

I was there during business hours today, arriving at 2:15 pm and no one was there. I even waited about 15 minutes and no one ever arrived. There was no note or anything explaining the absence.

The service was great and I havent had any problems with my nose piercing.
