Mario did a phenomenal job from the start. We had a quick chat about what I was looking for, he drew up his take on my idea, and it was all set. I scheduled my appointment, showed up, and 2.5 hours later I am a happy customer. Definitely recommend Master Craft Tattoo and Mario.

I had been searching for two years for someone to touch up my 15 year old tattoo. Last fall, met the owner at a local event, got a business card and followed up by checking out the artists work. Found someone who had a style that worked for me. A few weeks ago, set up a consultation. For me, the whole process is so personal and I am picky, so when I met Eli Avila and she shared her ideas, I was super happy and immediately set my appointment.Now that I have my tattoo, I am so happy with the finished product - it is absolutely beautiful and Eli was a pleasure to work with. I was so comfortable through the whole experience. Solid work and lovely artistry.The shop is clean, well maintained and welcoming. Now, all I need to do is figure out what I want for my next tattoo!

I went here to get my first ever tattoo done by the very talented Shay. She was generous with her time and was very patient with me through the ideation and conceptualizing portion of it. Especially since she was doing two tattoos, one for me and one for my wife- she was great in dealing with both of us. During the actual tattooing, Shay was very professional, insightful and a pleasure to talk to which made for a great experience.Since then, Ive gone back to Master Craft and Shay for 3 more tattoos and I will definitely be back for more!As far as the place itself, you can tell there was a lot of work put into the space and it paid off. The vibe is very chill and everything is clean. Theres either some good music playing or random movies on the TVs. If youre close by or looking for a new spot, you owe it to yourself to go and check this place out!

I highly recommend Corey Willis at Master Craft. I requested he add to an existing design I have loved for years. He not only blended it seamlessly, dare I say, he exceeded the original! His fine line weight detail and color work was exceptional. Despite not being the typical young client, I felt very comfortable there. The studio is clean, the staff friendly and pricing is fair market. Great business that I will refer in the future.

Second time here and I can only say good things about this shop. The whole ambiance is very welcoming and you can tell all the artist genuinely support each other. I have gotten two piece by Elijah, and both times it has been a wonderful experience. He is super talented and makes you feel comfortable throughout the whole process.

Artists came up with a great design for me. They were super friendly and nice. Very accommodating and thorough. They had a movie on while I was being worked on (which was a great distraction) and were attentive. Ellie did my design and tattoed it. She was absolutely wonderful. This was my first tattoo and it was a great experience. If you want capable artists that work to help you feel at ease this is a great place to look.

5/5, Gavin is really cool & especially really talented he tattooed me and my mom & did such a nice job on both. I’ll for sure be back next month for another tat. It was also going to be my first tattoo so I was really nervous but my pain on a scale from 1-5 was a solid 1 haha didn’t hurt one bit. So if you consider getting a tattoo I recommend Gavin really cool dude & I liked his work.

I reached out to Eli on Instagram and got super lucky to get an appointment scheduled only a few weeks out. I have Eli the image that I was looking for & we came to the agreement to allow him to put his own creative spin on it. I couldn’t of been happier to have done so. Eli showed me the sketch soon after showing up to my appointment, and about 3.5 hours later, I have a beautifully unique tattoo that I couldn’t be more proud of.The shop itself is peaceful, cool, and clean. Went and got my first tattoo here from Noel and it is a masterpiece, literally looks like someone printed it on! Very chill, very clean place with an awesome atmosphere. This shop is super clean, very open, and bright inside. The staff made me feel very comfortable. The atmosphere was loose and friendly. Betty was my artist and she is an awesome combination of heart and talent. She has the ability to work in a wide range of styles and always makes me feel like all my ideas are great. Absolutely love Betty! Ridiculously talented and such an amazing genuine human being. I’ve been following her work for years and have gotten tattooed by her 3x in the past year. All botanical/nature themed tattoos and they’re amazing. I always get compliments on my tattoos and am constantly asked who my tattoo artist is. Would highly recommend her! She makes sure that you feel confident with the design and makes you feel comfortable while getting tattooed. I appreciate that she is also builds trusts with you and makes conversation. I ran into her once at a coffee shop and was embraced with a hug. Tattoo artists like her are rare to find. She’s a true gem.

I got my first tattoo about a week ago from Elijah, and I cannot recommend the experience enough. I was incredibly nervous, and he made sure to help keep me calm and put on a tv show while talking to me. The tattoo is gorgeous, it is healing incredibly well, and I can’t wait to get another tattoo from him!

My daughter and I seen Noel today at Master Craft Tattoo C for matching/meaningful tattoos. Our tattoos look absolutely amazing!! Noel is super talented, and awesome at what he does!! I will definitely be going back to see him, and sending people his way for sure. Master Craft is a real place, its very clean, and everyone there is very nice. The moment I walked in, I could tell that the shop was very clean and professional, and I the vibe was exactly what I was looking for. My artist was Gavin and I really loved his style and was very impressed with his work. Im excited to go back in and get more from him!

My Tattoo artist was Beto. I had a rough idea in my head about a dagger I wanted and he came up with a Sketch and KILLED it! The color he added made it pop and look 20 times better than I had pictured in my head. He was super professional and was so good on the machine. Loved my experience!

I just got my 3rd tattoo today from them and have always had an AMAZING experience. They’re nice, professional, and easy to work with. I asked him to add something in when he was getting the stencil ready and it was no problem. All of my tattoos from here turned out and stayed amazing and I wouldn’t want to get a tattoo from anywhere else.

Master Craft Tattoo is one of the best shops Ive every experienced 10/10. Gavin (@GothKing on Instagram) did two of my pieces. His prices were fair and the way scheduling worked was easy to understand. I called into the shop, sent him reference pictures, and then we worked out a design together. Not only was he able to tweak the design to show up with more contrast on my skin but we also watched the movie that inspired the tattoo during the session. Wish they took their appointments more seriously, because weeks ago I had it scheduled for today at 6. I arrived 10 min early only to have to wait 2 hours because they had my tattoo artist take some chicks before me, whom I believe did not have an appointment.My tattoo artist, Beto, was beast as fudge though! Very communicative & awesome. He felt bad about it but took his time and completed my tattoos bien nice!I feel they dumped those girls before me on him because hes an apprentice or something, but like come on yo... I had an appointment! I hope they do better in that area next time. They have to improve on that.Justice for Beto though! Lol Ill be coming back for more of his work. Hes great! 💗❤💜💙🌈🐢

Made an appointment days ahead of time for 6pm. Showed up at 6 and waited for Eli to finish with the client he was already working on. (It was simple line art that took him about 45 mins) Then he took another customer even though I had an appointment for 6:00. I ended up leaving the shop at 7pm with no work being done. Went to Tattoo Warehouse in Joliet & was in and out within an hour.Master Craft is over priced and unprofessional. Definitely won’t be back.

Master craft has such an great staff, they’re so welcoming & won’t make you feel intimidated. The shop is super clean. Definitely recommend Noel he took the time to incorporate everything I asked for & does amazing work!

The shop is easily found and extremely clean. It is a very open area and very welcoming. The atmosphere has an air of ease the moment you walk in.I’ve been getting tattooed by Betty for a few years now and when she informed me that she would be doing work at only Mastercraft I had instantly made the decision to keep going to her, even if the shop was out of my way. She has always encouraged my ideas and will always put her two cents in when it comes to design to make all my pieces flow together. She did my half sleeve, which was a big job due to being a coverup if a massive blocky black bad tattoo I had done when I was younger. I don’t trust anyone but Betty to do any of my ink! She’s super easy to talk to and will make you feel like an instant friend. Awesome artist and even better person overall.

Eli was just amazing and I had full trust in his craft. All I requested was for roses and butterflies and he absolutely delivered. Everyone at the shop was absolutely amazing and I would definitely come back for more pieces when I can get the chance.

Bad or good reviews, it doesn’t matter. Professionalism goes along way. I haven’t posted anything bad or good, besides the concern of getting my machines and cords, returned back to me, from the Stylus owner, Rick. I’ve emailed him, numerous times, with no response. I was at the Chicago tattoo convention, this year to discuss such matters in person. Myself and another artist (@inkdoctorholmes and @juniorpurvis) left our equipment with him last year at the show, and have been dealing with Rick over many years, and we understand the stress, but being put on the back burner over a year is repugnant and very unprofessional.

My experience here was so great! The staff made me feel welcomed as soon as I walked in. I came in to get a purple ribbon in memory of my brother. I’m definitely coming back again! Thank you Noel and Marco!

So I’m visiting from New Jersey and needed a cover up done asap so after looking on google this shop had the most reviews with the most starts so I decided to give them a shot and I linked up with Gavin..He is an amazing tattoo artist very professional and have never had a painless tattoo untill I got one from him…The cover up he did was amazing and you can’t see any of the old tattoo…I would definitely recommend going to see him or anyone in this shop great location….
