This spot is the ONLY place to go in Chicago for a tattoo. David does an awesome job with his work and he genuinely cares about his clients. Ive never been so satisfied with a tattoo until my visit here! Perfect work thank you so much!!

I had such a great experience going to Revolution Tattoo. My artist was Cris and he was super chill. He was able to get me in earlier than originally planned which definitely helped consider I was a tourist lookin to get fresh ink. He was super friendly and super informative about sizing, pricing, and after care. 10/10 would visit Revolution Tattoo Chicago again.

My tattoo session went great! The artists were vibing and played great music. My artist listened to the updated and changes I wanted to make and made sure I was comfortable. Offered to touch up if needed too! Great location as well (try the churros across the street!)

Love this place!! I’m there at least twice a month and they feel like family. All the artists are fantastic but my doooood Dahv can nail anything you throw at him. Give him a few ideas and he will work his magic.The parlour is clean and a vibe! Make sure you check out sideshow next door for all your spooky witchcraft needs!

Great service. Great atmosphere. And a very cool shop next door.I was very pleased with my tattoos. My artist was Michael Preissing. Very talented and patient. I think it took a little over 5 hours to do my 3 tattoos, but it was worth it. No complaints and I would (and have) recommend this shop.

Very nice, clean, and comfortable shop. Easy to get to from 90/94, and parking is a breeze (which is few and far between in Chicago). As for staff/customer service, and art- I can only recommend Cassandra Knox, because she has done almost all of my tattoos. Shes nice, easy to work with, intuitive in regards to your tattoo ideas, and a fantastic artist. She returns emails in a timely manner, and usually gets you in for an appointment within a couple weeks. If youre thinking of getting tattooed, take a look at Cassandra Knox, you wont be disappointed!

Oms is the best! I love how he spends his time perfecting his artwork and makes sure how every detail is taken care of. He recently tattooed my wife and I with a pet memorial tattoo for our 14 year old pooch. My wife and I love his work and plan on future tattoos with him @Revolution Tattoo!

Revolution Tattoo has been Esthetically designed and laid out inside. Great chill vibe, by all. Dahveed was the best. The session was quick and comfortable. Ill definitely be returning for some more work

I brought my 67 year old mom here to get her first tattoo. David was so kind, welcoming, and thoughtful. He takes his work very seriously, no matter how big or small the job is. She loves the result and can’t stop talking about how great the experience was. We’ll remember this forever!

First rate shop and first rate artist. Omar is the man! First tattoo in nearly 16 years and I could not have hoped for a better experience. Definitely will be back a lot sooner!

I was tattooed by Ben- genuinely one of the best tattoo experiences I have ever had. I commissioned a stylized portrait of a loved one who recently passed and I’m so happy I came to Ben to get it done. He really did him justice. I’m already planning three more tattoos with Ben in the near future! I would recommend this tattoo shop to anyone. Every artist is experienced and has their own unique style. Fantastic work and great environment plus great music! Definitely email them with appointments especially for medium size to large size pieces!

Fantastic place to get ink. The atmosphere is very eclectic with the walls decorated with the artists work, stuffed animal heads from the shop next door; the ceiling is the old time metal tiles and the waiting area is filled with plants and old church pews. This also isnt your standard tattoo parlor open until the wee hours of the morning and inking people that just walk in. Nope, they close at 7pm and you need to schedule an appointment, possibly a couple months down the road.Ben, who only works in black ink, did our tattoos from a design he created and tweaked as he worked. My fiance and I wanted matching/ complimentary tattoos and Ben really came through. He uses a different type of gun and took the time to explain the ins and outs of it and why he likes it. He laughed and joked with us and Omar, the owner who was working on another customer the whole time we were there. The friendly and comfortably atmosphere was really a product of them and the other staff that were working interacting.I will gladly be returning here for more work and touch-ups to some of my older work. A fantastic place with fantastic artists.

I got some work done by Ben on Monday and it was an amazing experience! The shop is super clean and has great vibes. Ben was a really cool person and did an awesome job on my tattoo. He also fixed up a tattoo I already had and really made it come to life. I will definitely be back to get tattooed again!!! 10/10, I would 100% recommend seeing Ben!!!

Called for a same day walk-in, and J was able to accommodate 2 of us just a couple hours later. The shop has a great atmosphere, and is obviously well kept. J was great during the whole process, and Im very happy with the new art!

The shop and store are amazing. My work was done by Ben who is a few past amazing. He is the only artist who really worked with my on design and placement rather than just say its your tattoo. I cant wait for my next appointment with him.

Coolest tattoo space I’ve ever been in. I’ve only ever been tattooed by Omar, and he’s amazing, but all the artists there are very friendly. Highly recommended.

Omar did my tattoo. Everyone there is amazing to work with. I felt at ease and confident from the beginning, when I was just discussing the concept of what I was looking for, to the very end. You can tell that they love what they do. They are professional and courteous business owners. The final result was and is amazing. Ive since referred several people here and theyve all been very happy with the end result.

Absolutely amazing experience getting my first bigger tattoo piece done here. Sent an email to Caitlin with a design I had drawn and she edited it to perfection to make it her own work as well. Everyone in the shop was so down to earth and enjoyable to be around. Highly recommend for great tattoos done by amazing and talented artists.

This shop has great energy and very clean. Shop owner is very professional and down to earth. Ive been here a few times and always loved the outcome. I had an appointment with Patrick and went in very excited about getting my tattoo.. however i wasn’t pleased with the service. I presented myself very friendly and Patrick came off very condescending and dismissive. During my session he talked to everyone but me … not that i needed a pep talk but that just further added on my disdain of the service . His demeanor was robotic and not welcoming . To see him interact with others the total opposite of me, confirmed that i wasn’t over reacting . Also , i first spoke with his “assistant” about what i desired for my tattoo and did not receive that at all, yes i could’ve said something but he chose to not give top tier service that day and that’s that. i will not be back for a touch up… unfortunately that’s one free service i’ll never experience .

Amazing artists who are talented and nice. They are knowledgeable about all styles of tattoos and humble so they keep learning. They listen to the clients vision and are diligent to carry out. Great beauty meets great care to detail. The place is awesome.

Highly recommend this tattoo shop super friendly, professional and down to earth artist. This was my first time at this shop I got my tattoo done by steve and I am absolutely satisfied with my tattoo! I went in and looked at all the portfolios but when i seen steves portfolio I did not have to look at more than two pictures because i fell in love! Thank you.

Steve kindly and skillfully made time for not one but three walk-ins last Sunday — two of which didnt know what they wanted until they got there (not good tattoo etiquette, I know, but he was patient nonetheless). All three of us left with exactly what we wanted exactly how we wanted it. Highly recommend.

Ive gotten multiple tattoos from this shop but my last tattoo was by oms the owner and I gotta say it was done perfectly and so beautiful its by far my favorite tattoo that I have. I highly recommended this shop and oms as an artist. I will never get tattooed by anyone else again.

Came here to start my leg sleeve collage & when I gave details on what I wanted they were pretty much ignored. They Artist Robert came up with 2 wonder designs but they were no where near what I had explained to him that I wanted. I asked for my money back & they refused. Never explaining before that there was no refund. Poor listening & informing skills! Over getting my past 5 tattoos, Ive never had such a horrible experience at a shop!

I went to Omar for a small tattoo on my wrist. It is a small tattoo but a big deal to me, and he was super nice about planning it out and doing it... not to mention he did an amazing job - it is exactly what I wanted. Highly recommend!

I had a walk in tattoo done there by Omar the owner who was pretty cool to talk to but he didn’t put much effort in to this tattoo. Shading and line work are not flush, line work is pretty shakey but from his work online it looked very nice.

This shop is rad. Ben is my tattoo artist there. He crushes it every time I’m there. Always understands and gets what I’m asking for. A true tattoo wizard. Thank you. See you soon.

I walked in there with no appointment, I told Robert what I wanted and he blew my mind with his creativity and his detail. I was so satisfied with my tattoo, I definitely recommend to get your tattoo done by Robert!

UPDATE: I contacted the owner of the shop to inform her of Allies negligence (punishable by law in Illinois) and all she could say to me was, So youre mad because you got a bad tattoo and now youre calling me to be vindictive? I dont understand the point of your call. For all that can see the picture of the tattoo Allie Marie did, anyone can see that its more than a bad tattoo.Allie Marie said she could do a watercolor tattoo and she messed up my arm!!! The tattoo is horrible and she should ashamed of herself. Its suppose to be a dandelion and it looks nothing like it. One of the seeds is blue....ITS BLUE!!!!! She ruined my arm with this tattoo and caused me to feel a lot of shame while wear short sleeves. SHE LIED. She took my money and gave me a disgusting, unprofessional, error-filled tattoo.

I got a memorial tattoo from Toulouse and I couldnt recommend them enough I will definitely be back. The shop is super cool with all of its decor as well
