Ms. Tasha is the GOAT! I went there looking for her from reviews and she did not disappoint. She actually did me 2 tattoos this same day and i love them both! She was welcoming, gentle and efficient. Also, I actually walked in on them helping a young lady that was scammed out of her money promising a tattoo from them and long story short their professionalism as a whole was wonderful. Cant wait to get back to her for my portrait tattoo!

Ive been going to Ac every since he was located on 63rd and Maplewood. Great customer service, clean facilities, very knowledgeable of the art. He makes his environment very comfortable for his customer. I would recommend him and his ship to anyone thats looking for a tattoo. I even took my neighbor to get some ink and her kids got some ink from him

Worse experience I ever had. I advise the chubby girls don’t get your piercing from this place. Don’t get me wrong the customers service was great, the shop was clean and I had good thoughts about this shop but first let’s talk about how the lady didn’t even pierced my belly button. She literally pierced my skin!!!! .. My Skin!!!! And when she pierced it I was sitting down and from what I was told you have to get your belly button pierced standing up . So now I have a big dark spot on my stomach. I highly not recommend!!

Stencils is one of the best top tattoo shops to check out when you visit Chicago, Safe as well, wonderful staff they even welcome my cast/ film crew with open arms allowing us to use their amazing place for our recent film “City of the dead” horror film in Chicago.

My experience here with me from Mr AC was ok comfortable clean and friendly environment only issue was the price was steep for a name tat that was not at all perfection the c looked like a huge lowercase e I was disappointed because they are professional in a shop and this small error ruined the whole tattoo so I will not be returning I recommend u go at your own caution

Friendly and knowledgable staff, open Sundays, walked in for an ear piercing was out within 20 minutes. Would for sure would recommend.

Artist didn’t want to do the simple tattoo I ask for.. want to do something fancy so he can upcharge.. gave me a $150 quote for 3 words ( 7 letters altogether) …also took over an hour to do said 7 letters… even after I ask time frame beforehand..said ( 20 minutes)…..

I had came here to get my tongue pierced and the lady was so nice plus I was a lil nervous and she made me fill calm she even stop what she was doing to give me my piercing it was fast and painless thank you so much first experience was a great one great job and I will be returning
