Update 7 weeks post-pierce: Woohoo! Adrian was amazing, just changed my earrings for the first time and all is well. Ive already said good things about the studios professionalism, cleanliness, etc. so let me now tell you how wonderful Adrian was. I got my first lobe pierce at 18 and Adrian just did my second lobe pierce 38 YEARS LATER - yeah, I forgot the drill and he was patient with my worried calls and so kind. Im sure all the piercing artists are great, but if I ever lose my mind and go for my third when I retire, Ill be booking with Adrian!!

Jennifer is the freaking best! She is such a sweetheart. She’s kind, professional, knowledgeable, and has amazing energy! Jenny took her time with my piercing. She was very gentle and made me feel super comfortable. She’s a huge asset to this company! If you’re wanting a piercing at this location, Jenny won’t let you down! I promise.

I had Jody as my artist I believe, he made my first tattoo experience amazing and gentle. I was so nervous but he was so sweet to me and let me yap about my dad being a tattoo artist. He was a 10/10 person in my book and i hope to see him again next time I visit chicago🩵

VIBE:Bad vibes and overpriced. I got a warmer reception from the customers in the waiting area then the staff. They all seem like theyre passive aggressive, wish you werent there annoying them and a few slick comments away from blowing a fuse.STAFF/SERVICE:Joe did my tattoo. I told him it was my very first tat ever, and after talking to others about it [post-experience], I should have been offered numbing cream. I also got a nose piercing here. The piercer is the same guy who pierced my mans nose so I was familiar with him. He did a good job.PARKING/MISC:Street parking available but depending on what time of the day you go, it may be difficult to secure a spot because of how many businesses are located on that intersection of Wilson and Broadway. As far as the tattoo itself, I wanted to wait until it was fully healed before I left a review. It looked ok when I left but after time, it got progressively worse. I took amazing care of it during the healing process and still ended up with scaring in the yellow part of the face. ***Which has since reduced significantly, to the point that its unnoticeable.*** I still feel the lines on this are horrible. I now have to go and get it corrected. You guys should honestly refund me my $180 for this nonsense, and every other person who’s walked out this shop with jacked tats — plus the staff had bad vibes, I’m sorry I hate to say it but they really did. Wouldn’t recommend, go elsewhere.

I’ve been to Tattoo Factory a few times over the last several years for various tattoos and piercings and have always had a good experience. The check-in & waiver process is streamlined and easy and the staff are friendly and welcoming, I also find their prices to be extremely fair compared to many other shops. I most recently got a flat piercing & daith jewelry change done by Adrian. Adrian was really professional and kind and the piercing itself was quick and nearly painless. Already plotting my next piercing here ;)

Shoutout to Antonio from Tattoo Factory!He is a very flexible artist that likes a challenge. My first piece with him was a walk-in last year. The line work was smooth and I gave him creative freedom regarding style after showing him a reference pic.Yesterday’s tattoo was amazing. I stopped in on a whim for a tattoo that I’ve had in the back of my mind for ages. Joseph did a great job with the shading. The staff was friendly, and Joseph did a terrific job with light and funny conversation throughout. It was my second time visiting. I’ll be back and highly recommend this spot to anyone. Was visiting Chicago for a concert with a friend and got signatures we wanted tattooed. Walk-ins welcome, open earlier than most & stay open later. Waa hreeted by Mike. He was a sweetheart, easy to talk to & did an excellent job! Highly recommend this shop and Mike... thanks from Ohio, Mike!!

The staff was welcoming, knowledgable, and paired me with an artist who they knew would produce what I wanted. Pablo was fantastic!! He is skilled, friendly, and made sure the placement and size of my tattoo fit my criteria. I will be going to him for all future tattoos!!

I had a horrible experience with this tattoo shop. I got a red Japanese tattoo on my ankle, and from the start the artist was very rude. I believe his name was Joe, an older thin man. I originally wanted to tattoo on my waist just below my belly, but I was nervous about the placement. Instead of being patient, I was being rushed. To shave the area around my stomach he was urging me to pull my pants down lower to give him room to shave. This was fine, but his attitude wasnt. I kept assuring him that I was only nervous. He responded by saying Well we dont have any curtains for privacy and if you wanted that you shouldve went to another shop. Again I was very understanding of his direction, but the way he conveyed it was very harsh and unnecessary. I have many tattoos and none of my artists were ever rude. I get it, we all have jobs and want to be over with it, but a client trusts an artist to permanently alter their skin, the least the artist can do is show a little patience. I changed the placement of the tattoo to my ankle. It was extremely painful because he kept tattoo-ing it over and over again. He mentioned he had to do this in order for the color to show on my complexion so I thought this was normal. The healing process was disgusting. I called and asked to speak to him personally regarding how it healed. When I explained the situation he responded with Maam just tell me the problem, I have way too many people coming in here to remember you. I explained the state of the tattoo. He told me that he warns all his clients before tattooing that getting tattoos in red always have a risk of healing badly. I was absolutely NOT told this!! I asked for the tattoo in red and no one ever mentioned any risks with the color red, especially him!!! I am a darker complexion, so I wouldve definitely avoided red if I had been told by anyone, if I had the slightest knowledge about this. I even asked if the color would show well on my skin and he told me yes!! I bled ink and blood horribly, my tattoo leaked out of the tape he put within 3 hours. I limped the first few days after getting it, it hurt incredibly bad. (Yes, I followed all of the aftercare instructions, including removing the tape as soon as it was breached). The tattoo looked less like a tattoo and more like I was branded or badly burned. I had to get the tattoo re-done again in black after some time. My current artist told me that whoever originally did it basically mutilated me and damaged my skin over and over. (And that he remembers all of his clients tattoos when he does them). Even now I am having to go back in and get it re-done because the skin was so badly damaged that hes afraid how it will react if he goes any deeper in some spots of the tattoo.Overall, it was a waste of $140 dollars. The artist was very rude, I was never verbally informed about anything, and when I called weeks later his attitude was still sour. I emailed a photo of the tattoo before calling but never received a response. Not from the owner or anyone.As an artist, please learn how to speak to the clients that put their trust in you.

100000% recommend Hoku! She is so talented & kind! I’ve gotten several tattoos from her. I recommend her to everyone, but particularly if you are looking for a safe/female/queer artist, she’s the best one! I’ve honestly never felt so comfortable with a tattoo artist before. First time getting a tattoo since 2018 and I was glad this place is still reputable and clean. Was tattooed by Jody, just a quick piece on my knuckles but he was professional and kind. Id be comfortable seeing him for more complex work and comfortable recommending him to others. Thx for the positive experience!

I was in town for a few days with only about a week of planning. Definitely the nicest shop Ive ever stepped foot in and Ive been all over the country. The staff were friendly and Technique, who did my piece, gave me the best piece of artwork I now carry on my body. Instead of rushing his work he took his time to design it perfectly. Ive decided to make Technique my regular artist, its only a 5 hour drive but its 100% worth it. Looking forward to working with you again! The pictures tell all here. Total time including design time was 7 hours.

I came in right before closing and Pablo was still willing to do my tattoo. He was very reassuring throughout the whole process and it turned out amazing! Def book him!

Pablo, not only did he do a awesome job. It was my 1st time getting a tattoo and I was scared. So Pablo was patient with me the whole time. And asked me how I was doing throughout the time as me getting the tattoo. The owner of this place should know how much that ment to a paying customer. And what a good employee they have .

I saw that you asked why. I was having a really awful day already and thought going there would make my day better because I love your shop and go there for most of my tattoos and piercings. I just wasn’t treated well by certain employees and it really made me upset and not want to go there ever again. I usually always have a good experience there. It was such a bummer I was treated badly this time.

Hoku did my first two tattoos on me. I love them, they are perfect! I get complimented by everyone about how well done they are and the linework was super detailed and perfect.

Don’t go to Joe he’s rude and unprofessional. my tattoo is patchy, I pointed it out when it was getting done and he just snapped and said “well what do you want me to do about it?” He kept making a lot of rude comments, I told him the tattoo is uneven can he add a bit more ink to the other side and he said all I do is point out negative things and have a negative mindset just because I was upset that it was patchy and uneven. I asked him to fix it and he made rude comments and let out the biggest sigh. I have many tattoos and have worked with many artists but Joe is by far the rudest and most unprofessional one I have encountered. I’ve gone to Tattoo Factory before and I will say everyone is professional and helpful except for him. He seems like he hates his job.I’ve wanted this tattoo for a very long time and it’s upsetting to see it treated with such a lack of care, respect, and professionalism. I wish I got another artist, and now I have to see who can fix my tattoo.

Ive gotten multiple tattoos here over the years, and now a piercing. the entire staff is always very friendly & helpful. they make sure you get exactly what you want. :)i definitely recommend this place, its worth paying a little extra for the quality.

Great experience! Came in as a walk in for a septum piercing and a smallish cherries tattoo that I had a print for. Was in and out in less than 2 hours. Adrian and Jr were both amazing! Receptionist was lovely as well. It’s a walk in based business so just look at the “popular times” on google and go when they’re not super busy. Thanks so much guys!

Tattoo Factory was the only piercing shop I could find that carried the right size body jewelry for me. (I got my nipples pierced overseas with the wrong gauge bar and couldnt find shops that carried jewelry my size, since 14 gauge is normal). Tattoo Factory patiently helped find the right size for me and were super kind! Thank you so much!!! You saved my nips!

Just had my first visit. Antonio Quiroz took care of my ink. He was super chill & helpful. Also nothing beats getting distracted with some Rambo on their TV. Highly recommend.

Been here twice - once with an artist that no longer tattoos here and more recently with Mike Baalke Jr and both times were great experiences. Clean stations and fantastic artwork. Kind of expensive but worth it!

Pablo did an amazing job on my tattoo!! Told him I wanted flowers and he can pick whichever way to do them and it came out awesome!!!

I would appreciate if an artist (Bob) just tell the truth [I dont want to do that piece, Im not good with this ] instead of some lame excuse about colors/details on pigmented skin, blah blah.Upon removing my shirt and catching a glimpse of my 1/2 sleeve, now you wanna reconsider. Jenny, the piercer, is amazing! I came in (walk-in) to get my first ever ear piercings and she was so sweet and gentle as she talked me through the process and aftercare. She also called me sweetheart a lot which I loved. :) 10/10 would recommend!

My friends and I walked in to each get a piercing on a Wednesday night. Piercing is first come, first serve and we waited 20-30 minutes. Adrian was absolutely incredible. He was knowledgeable and put us at ease, confirming the placement and checking in throughout the piercing to make sure we were okay. He was efficient but didn’t make us feel rushed. We could watch each other over the counter and talk as he worked. I would highly recommend!

I absolutely loved my experience with Antonio! He was light-handed and brought me ease as this was my first large piece. My first session was a success and the outline turned out beautiful. He really saw my vision and brought it to life. I would recommend anyone to book an appointment with Antonio (super easy through his instagram). Overall an amazing experience and can’t wait for my second session and get color!

Okay, first off the shop is beautiful. Second, everyone was nice and very professional! JD did my tattoo and Im in love with it! He was so nice - kept making sure I was alright and we chatted about him helping to cover up a tattoo for me in the future and adding to this art he did today.I will be back sooner rather than later!

Dropped in for a piercing or 3 🥴.Jenny first did my double helix as I decided if I wanted to do my septum. She was AWESOME! She answered all questions I had and was very understanding of my nervousness. I would DEFINITELY recommend!

Had two lovely experiences with the piercer Jenny. She has been absolutely wonderful. Had both my lobes pierced by her and then came back to have my nipples pierced. I had them done previously and noticed immediate issues with symmetry and issues with the getting inflamed once every few months. Jenny immediately noticed the issues and helped correct them in this piercing. Most def recommend asking for her if you are looking to get something done.

Look no further for a tattoo shop. This place is the best Ive ever been to. All the staff are nice and helpful. Its a chill and comfortable environment and very clean.They do take walk-ins but an appointment is always best to save your spot. Nicolas was my artist and he did an amazing job! He works hard to make your idea come to life. Masks are required and if you bring a friend they have to wait outside unless you both are getting something done. Highly recommend coming here.

Loved our tattoos! Jeremy did an amazing job and we will definitely back! Very Covid friendly but super busy so make sure you know what you want before you get there and plan on a 2 to 3 hour wait time.

I got a forward helix from Jenny and she was incredible ($70). She encouraged me to take my time when deciding on placement and spoke so kindly and securely, I felt great. Will definitely be requesting to see Jenny again for future piercings!

I went out of my way to get my doubles back in March of 2023 and now it’s December of 2023 and my piercing is still not fully healed. I have so much scar tissue in the back of both of my ears and six months after getting my ears pierced, I had to go to another place back home to see what’s going on. That girl told me that jewelry shouldn’t have been the one put in at the time of piercing and that the scar tissue I’m developing is not normal. Luckily, nothing was infected and upkeeping on the cleaning of the areas was effective. I had to pay to change out the jewelry on top of the fact that I paid good money to get my ears pierced in the first place. The girl who pierced my ears was very rude and she didn’t give me time to look at the dots she put on my ears before piercing them. Even after I asked once if we could move one up, she was huffing and puffing about it, which made me very uncomfortable. I have other piercings and I’ve never had any problem with the healing process and/ jewelry. I am good about keeping my piercings clean and I completely believe that it was all because of this establishment. Overall, I will not be going back due to poor customer service, poor quality of jewelry, and poor experience with the healing process.

Went to get my first Tattoo on May 28 2023 was excited to get my first Tattoo everything went fine at first . Its now December and it has healed but it looks so faded . I tried contacting my Artist Ed Powell and got no response. Went back to the shop and told the lady what was going on she asked who did the work I told her . She than said he had moved to Georgia and asked to look at my Tattoo again and was going to say something but stopped and told me to wait . She came back handed me another Artist Business card and told me I have to email him and wait to set up an appointment. I was annoyed at this point I had Driven an hour for nothing . I have not heard from this Artist I had to go to another Tattoo shop and they couldnt believe that this Tattoo looked so bad . I had to pay to get it redone . Tattoo Factory should have fixed the issue but another shop was awesome in helping me out . Only reason I went here is because my cousin got His tattoo done here and recommended it .I paid so much for a tattoo that faded in only a couple of months . Do not go to this shop .

When i was in undergrad I went here 3 times and got various piercings w/ minimal issues. My stud randomly came out of my nose and I went in to get a new nose ring. When I told the piercer what i was in for she just looked at me blankly and didn’t respond. When I asked her if i could see their options she rudely said “they’re behind you”(no one had directed me once i walked in) . This place is average for sure but I would recommend other places for piercings- they’re not the nicest and don’t have many high quality jewelry options.

This shop is set up in a super cool way! I loved how roomy it was and all of the artists and workers were kind and awesome! I was traveling for work and went in to get a quote done and they were amazing! I love my new tattoo and it goes really well with the others in that area while still being exactly what I was asking for! Highly recommend this shop to everyone!! Eddie was FANTASTIC! I didn’t have an appointment, good thing they accept walk ins daily! My grandmother passed away last week and I wanted to get a tattoo to remember her by, Eddie was the man for the job! He was very nice and informative throughout the entire experience. The check in process was EASY and I recommend any and everyone here as the atmosphere was great!

I went in today after work to kill some time before sitting in traffic on my way home. Id been playing with the idea of a personally symbolic tattoo for months and Jody was able to stencil it up beautifully within a few minutes. He was super nice, patient with my nervousness (its been 20 years since Ive been inked) and I feel like he was extra gentle.....I barely felt a scratch. Im sure Ill be back (in less than 20 years ha!)

Got my very first tattoo here. Great tattoo and piercing place. I recommend Frosty for tattoos because he will do anything you like plus he will suggest what looks great on you. Great customer service and people here are friendly and understanding.

I had Antonio as my artist and I am so happy with how my tattoo turned out! I had asked to have a sentimental tattoo done and it turned out much better than I had anticipated. Throughout the entire process, he was very easy to communicate with and was incredibly patient. I fully intend to go back to Antonio for my future tattoos.

I’ve gone here since college to get piercings from Adrian—him, and the other piercer of color there, are gems.The same cannot be said for all the white staff today who were silent when their front desk lady (red hair, black glasses, white) mocked a Black customer’s accent multiple times after the customer left. Absolutely abhorrent.Avoid this racist place at all costs!

Excellent experience, even for my shortest visit to a shop ever. I came in about two weeks ago for a nostril piercing. Within 5 minutes of walking in, my paperwork was filled out and processed, and my nose was flawlessly pierced, appearing as if itd been so always. The care and control in the piercers hands is phenomenal... I only wish I remembered her name to shout her out for being so fantastic with my piercing and my moms Monroe stretching!Immediately upon leaving I knew she did such an amazing job. Were two weeks in and my piercing looks impeccable, no bump or scarring to be had.Definitely go here for a quick, quality walk-in piercing!

It has been a year now since i got my nose pierced. i was cleaning it and following the aftercare perfectly and my piercing is still not healed. i will continuously get piercing bumps even a year later. my sister who got her double pierced at the same time says her piercings still hurt and bleed as well. we have other piercings that have healed perfectly so it feels like it was because of the jewelry or the establishment. would not recommend. paid too much money for this piercing and then on top of that for all the aftercare i’ve had to purchase.

Walked in around 6:30 and waited for all of about 45 seconds. Meet Adrian, signed a form, checked ID, and got walked to the piercing station. Adrian walked me through the process, planned his work, professionally set up, kept me out of my own head, and guided my breathing. Each time he made a new hole in my head, he would check in with me. Google only has 5 stars, and he deserves 10!As for the shop. Clean, tidy, exciting, and (best of all) bar adjacent! If youre on the lookout for an amazing tattoo/piercing shop, look no further. Ill absolutely be coming back for more piercings and ink soon.

Honestly my favorite experience I’ve had at a shop.I went here for matching tattoos as a parting gift. The kind and professional people at the shop made that situation feel slightly better in and of itself.My artist was Jerry. He held such good conversation and had the lightest touch. Usually tattoos hurt for days after, but it’s been 3 days and it’s not nearly as sore as I would have thought. I would definitely be a regular here if I lived in the area. I’m immediately in love with it there.They had a slight altercation—it was nothing too serious— while we were there, but it felt like dinner and a show, so I was just happy to be there especially since we just did a walk-in.I can’t give this place enough love.

I love Tattoo Factory! I’ve gotten 7 piercings there and one tattoo - the wait has never been long when walking in. All the artists are kind and made me feel comfortable during whatever I was having done. They have some of the best prices I’ve found in any city shop, a large variety of jewelry, and now have such a simple check in process with the iPads. Having Drink n Ink next door is also wonderful so you can have your friends wait for you nearby or go celebrate your new body art.

TERRIBLE! Dude straight up misspelled my fellow veterans tattoo and then tried to fix it the next day. Instead of it looking misspelled now it looks A HOT MESS!!! They told us it would take 3 months to fix (because it has to heal) but no one in the shop would put in writing that they would fix it in three months with no additional charge. Its the name of her military non-profit. She will talk to the owner in the morning.

Dave was so professional and efficient - he did a quick ear outline for my dog and didn’t make me feel judged for using numbing cream ahead of time. The artwork looks exactly like my beloved pup and I would highly recommend.

Jenny is excellent. Probably the best person I’ve ever had an experience with at a shop. I came in in August with a group of friends and Jenny was extremely quick, patient, and kind. (I got a tragus piercing, one friend got a belly button, and another got a medusa.) She walked me through everything and made sure I was comfortable before and after. My jewelry came out (my fault) and I went back to have her look at it. I was in and out within 5 minutes with minimal pain and jewelry back in place. If I was up for another piercing, I’d def see Jenny again, but since I’m not lol, I hope this review encourages others to go see her!

Just got my third tattoo completed here, highly recommend based on the great experience. Open, clean parlor with great people working there. If you are looking for pixel art, I highly recommend Matt, he did mine and I couldnt be happier!

My son passed away a year ago. I️ wanted to get a tattoo to memorialize his life. Paul the owner put me in touch with one of his finest Artist Mike. I️ explained what I️ wanted and Mike drew out a PERFECT tattoo that captured everything I️ wanted and did an extraordinary job. I loved the way my tattoo came out. They were very professional and down to earth, thank God. Also, they put time into my tattoo and werent in a rush to finish and very patient when doing the tattoo. My tattoo is still looking brand new and got it 2 years ago. Very happy with the results and going back for 2 more tattoos.🖖🤟🤘🤙✌️

Just returned from an amazing experience at the Tattoo Factory. Clean, professional and overall top-notch! Chris did my nostril piercing and from start to finish was quick, painless and just so nice and FUN. My daughter was tattooed by Joey - who was super skilled and patient. Walked in with my mom last night for a couple birthday tattoos and luckily I got Antonio!! He was amazing made sure I was comfortable through the whole process since I was getting a sternum tattoo and his fine lines were the best of any tattoos Ive gotten. My mom went in with a really sad lotus flower tattoo and he made it look brand new and so beautiful!! Definitely recommend tattoo factory and Antonio!

Mike Jr. is the best! Patient, funny, knowledgeable, and skilled, hes the guy you call for your next tattoo. Everyone there was super nice and I was in and out after my walk-in. All around great experience.

Tattoo Factory is the only place that I trust because they are professional, clean and have gifted artist. Whether I created my own tattoo print or they did, it came out excellent. Piercings were delicate and precise. Listened to what I wanted and executed well.

I called ahead of time to made sure they did this and the lady on the phone was helpful and very sweet. So I went in for a taper since my cartilage piercing had closed over night, I was 3 people in line and the wait was only about 20 mins or so. The young gentleman who helped me was kind, swift and answered all my questions. I will absolutely be back to get an actual piercing next time! 10/10.

I got an amazing back tattoo with Antonio Quiroz! He absolutely killed it, the line work is amazing! He made sure I was comfortable even with the tattoo being is such a sensitive spot. I definitely recommend him if you want to get a tattoo from this shop!

Called for general information concerning piercings. Woman who answered the phone gave me some suggestions on removing piercings within a healthcare setting. She was friendly at first but then became passive aggressive when I responded that we have removed piercings with hemostats. She stated Oh so were great then, you can remove them right??. Her comment and delivery was inappropriate and uncalled for. I asked for her name and she stated Ellen. Ive spoken to other shops in the Chicago area and they were very helpful, friendly, professional, and knowledgeable. If she was having a bad day, I can understand. But even still, that is not excusable to speak that way to anyone over the phone. Hope you have a better day and thank you for the information that you did help with. Girl bye

I have gotten all of my tattoos done by Mike at Tattoo Factory. He is an amazing artist and i wouldnt let anyone else put ink on my skin. Recently i took my wife there and she got her tattoo done by Mike and as expected he did an amazing job.

Last year I got several piercings in my ears here and loved the experience. They were very clean and professional. They explained every step of the process and really helped make it a good experience. A year later my ear grew a keloid and I came in and they were able to answer my questions, give advice and give me help for free. I really appreciate the piercing staff

Me and 2 other friends decided to go in for spontaneous walk in tattoos. We were the told the wait would be around an hour which was understandable due to the amount of people, but we only had to wait about 15 minutes then we each stared getting tattooed. Everyone was super friendly, especially Jeremy who tattooed me. He made me feel super comfortable, gave me advice on the placement & size of my tattoo, & kept me laughing which distracted me from my nervousness. This place was also the nicest/cleanest shop I’ve been in so far :)

Adrian was amazing, explaining every step of the process and being very accommodating as I typically pass out after piercings (even though i love them!). I appreciate his kindness and patience with me as he could tell I was nervous going into it but he did awesome. If I lived in Chicago this is where I would go for all my piercings! Walked in on a Tuesday afternoon and was in and out in less than 30 minutes. I was greeted by friendly staff immediately upon entering. Adrian was my piercer. He was so nice and informative. He was extremely professional and I felt at ease. Overall experience was amazing . Will definitely be coming back !

I’m not from here and just did a walk in appointment with one other person and they said the wait was around 1 hour which was not a problem at all and ended up only being 10 minutes! The wait was so short, the artist was so talented and super friendly! Would highly recommend and would definitely come back in the future! So happy I choose to come here and I love my tattoo!

My friends and I came in as walk ins while we were visiting Chicago in early March. Everyone seemed nice and the tattoo process itself was quite easy and smooth.I forgot who exactly tattooed me as I didn’t catch his name and have lost the receipt from that day. He was very accommodating and even redid my stencil about 5 times until I was happy with the placement.However, it’s now end of May/start of June and my tattoo, as well as my friends’, have healed super weird. You can see in the first picture, the line work in my tattoo is pretty consistent. Yet, in the second picture, the tattoo is quite patchy and some lines have become blown out and others thinned out and faded a bit. I’m disappointed because I have other tattoos and am aware of how to take care of a tattoo after getting one, and none of my other tattoos have healed this poorly. For one of my other friends, he got text tattooed on his arm, filled in, yet now certain parts of certain letters are completely faded. We paid more than I’m used to for tattoos this size, but at the time I assumed the price would match the quality. However, now that about 3 months has passed, I can’t say I’m completely satisfied with my experience here.

I got hooked up by Adrian; he was professional, kind, & friendly. Made me feel calm with my piercing exchange & new piercing on my other nostril. Besides the long wait & very limited seating, the overall atmosphere was professional, yet very welcoming & warm. The wall art & music made the experience a lot more enjoyable. It was very busy, which is great. The gentleman at the front was helpful, I waited to talk with him. He listened to my concept, it was the first time for me were I felt that I wasnt really listened to. He suggested that I send him the concept on Instagram which I am not on, then he suggested I email him all the details. I did send an email, I have not heard back and it has been weeks. I am feeling disappointed in the experience, I went to the tattoo factory to get my second tattoo many years ago when they were across the street. This was not that place.I read your response and though I appreciate what you said. I did send an email to the first artist on the list. I also sent an email to the man who I talked to when I walked in. I called before I went in and it was suggested I email. I got an email from the artist yesterday, but it was not something I could read it was more code.

Good solid work, but I paid more than twice what I anticipated. My cousin and I got two smallish tattoos that we thought might be $150 total, and got charged $340 each. In my highest estimate in my brain I couldnt imagine more than$200. And i have 8 other pieces. Im still regretting agreeing to it, but wed been putting it off for so long, and my cousin lives in Florida and was about to go back, that we just said yes.We got an X on one of our arms, and the supernatural tattoo. It was less than two hours of work.I got Frosty and I will say hes light with the pen, so that was nice.But honestly we should have just walked away at that price. It was such simple work we could have gotten out anywhere. Im wondering if I should give 3 stars because of it

I got my septum piercing by Adrian last night. I cant stress enough how comfortable he, and the rest of the staff, made me feel. Tattoo/piercing shops can be kind of intimidating sometimes, but everyone was so friendly. I have several other piercings, but this is my first one I got at this shop. I would likely come here again if I decide to get more piercings in the future. Adrian was very professional and friendly. I even almost passed out after the piercing, and he quickly got me water and a lollipop and made sure I was okay before I left. I was embarrassed but he reassured me that it wasnt a big deal. Honestly a great place to go

A friend and I decided to get tattoos super last minute. We called around and this was one of the few shops that accepted walk ins. We arrived at 5pm and were called in at around 11pm. I suggest if you are a walk in, be prepared to wait. They do have a cool bar next door with a slot machine & a Nintendo you can play with! The shop was clean & the front desk guy was super cool. Everyone here was really chill.My tattoo artist name was Nick (I think sorry!) and my friend had Kris as her artist. We really love our tattoos! I do feel like a piece of my butterfly’s line is a bit off but it could be that it’s just healing. Over all the experience was great & I would come back again.

My girlfriend and I were a late night walk in for tattoos. Felt bad coming late but everyone was so friendly and they got us in! Antonio did my tattoo and he took a flash piece and made it really incredible with his shading and artistry. Will definitely be coming back for more!

I got a nose piercing and my first tattoo there last night and I seriously cant imagine how a place could be any better. Everyone was super nice and friendly and everything was covid safe and very clean! I was there (from MI) with my best friend to get some matching stuff and they were busy but they made it happen! Amanda did our tattoos and Chris did our piercings and I 10/10 would befriend both of them! They were amazing. Ive already recommended Tattoo Factory to a few people because its an experience worth a three hour drive. Thanks guys!!!

I went there for my first tattoo and Im glad that I did. The staff was very professional and they were very cautious and clean, which is very important due to Covid-19. The artist who did my tattoo was very respectful and helped me put my tattoo together. My best friend also went with me and got her nose pierced. The piercer was also very polite and a great conversationalist. I will definitely be returning to do more business with them.

Extremely high quality work. I had a design made by myself and my dad and the artist was able to alter things to make it fit perfectly and translate it onto my arm. It looks amazing after healing and I couldnt be happier. Atmosphere was relaxing and everyone was very kind and made it that much easier.

I loved my tattoo artist he was amazing, however; the lady (i’m assuming the receptionist) was really rude, interrupted my family and i when we tried to speak. she didn’t really make us feel “welcomed” but the tattoo artists we saw were great and very welcoming. once you get through whatever her issue is, it’s amazing.

Ive been going to tattoo factory for almost 20 years! Clean and safe environment, and Tommy did a fantastic job on my husbands first tattoo. The bar next door (Ink and Drink) is awesome too. Nick is a great bartender, and the regulars are all super friendly. Its fun to watch people get tattoed while enjoying a delicious cocktail.

Awesome experience! My son got his first tattoos to memorialize his best friend and I got my childrens names on my wrists. They answered all our questions and made us feel very comfortable. They kept checking in to see how we were doing with the pain. It really wasnt too bad. All mind over matter. Tattoos turned out exactly as we imagined. So pleased!

Ive gotten 5/12 of my tattoos here from 4 different artists as walk in everytime, and i have never had a bad experience, every artist has made me feel very comfortable, and i’ve always loved my tattoo. each one listened to what i wanted with the tattoo itself and within my budget with adjustments to the tattoo. overall, i will definitely keep coming back for more pieces.

Jenny is absolutely amazing!! And I believe her name was Sadie who was working the front desk was beyond friendly. I had my Septum pierced & both were very sweet since I mentioned how nervous I was. But I believe thats their true nature anyway. Took more time fighting with the parking meter than Jenny took with the piercing! Total pro!! Thanx ladies!!

If I could give this place 0 stars I would. I came here just to buy a nose ring since mine fell out and there is only one person that is even allowed to sell them to you. That was fine until I saw this guy intentionally continuing conversation with his previous client after another employee asked if he could assist me. He told me he needed to see his other clients before taking a single minute of his time to just sell me a piece of jewelry. Talk about a high horse. If you have hours of time to waste feel free to come get a piercing but get ready to hear multiple personal stories about his life and when he came out. The only time he even paid attention to me was when my brother walked in. You’ll only get the attention you want if you’re a man.

My experience here was from 6 years ago so I know a lot of things could of change from then, but when I visited clean place friendly staff I was a walk in only had to wait about 30 mins the price for the tattoo wasnt expensive. My piece healed nicely I got it 6 years ago and it still looks nice no color fading or anything so I can say this shop tattoos can hold up. The only reason I havent been back is because I dont like public transportation and it takes forever to find parking in that area, but Im planning on booking an appointment here very soon.

Awesome experience! This shop is very clean and well organized, and all of the staff is great. They make everyone feel comfortable. I went for a septum piercing which was done by Maxwell. He was great at getting just what I wanted and the piercing went super smoothly. Its healing up beautifully; never even dealt with swelling or pain. Definitely recommend this place and as a bonus its super easy to grab a drink right next door afterward!

My experience was great. I totally get that you have to wait an hour as a walk-in. It gets busy! Its not like the artists can drop the work theyre currently doing to ask about your design idea.Matt did mine and he was great. He made conversation and really took his time getting the color and shading to match my inspiration image. It looks great!I asked if perhaps itd cost a little less if I paid in cash (I wanted to be able to tip) and he came down $40 under the original total. Of course, I gave him the full amount in cash.I later emailed him about adding a little more color and Ill be reaching out in a week or so when Im all healed for my final touches!Great experience and hanging out with Matt and Chris (who re-pierced my friends septum) was very entertaining.Also very cool you can run next door and grab a drink and see the shop on the tv. Love it!

Mike Sr and Mike Jr are AMAZING!!! The talent Mike Sr has is like no other. Mike Sr did a couple of my tats over 20yrs ago and when we walked in, I instantly recognized him!! Great Great work. I liked how the artists and client are behind very tall enclosed area and people waiting are sitting outside of that area. Felt very safe and SUPER CLEAN!!!! Prices are good as well!! Great place! Was in Chicago celebrating our anniversary and wanted to get some quick tattoos. Was checked in and got started after only waiting 40 min on a very busy day for them with no appointment! Great guys tattooing and the girl at the front desk was very kind and helpful.

This is literally the only tattoo shop in Chicago that has walk-ins during Covid. They have a ton of staff there, which is nice and they work fast and efficient. If you’re going to walk in though, go during the day on a week day or you will have a long wait. I got a broccoli outline tattooed on me which I love and think is perfect. My friend got a tomato tattoo and hers seemed super rushed and the lines are a little wonky. I guess it just depends what artist does your tattoo. They worked fast and had no problem creating a stencil out of the design I made. I enjoyed it and think it was worth their $100 minimum. I would recommend!

I had the pleasure of getting tattooed here over the course of a few days after waiting out the pandemic and the experience more than met my expectations. The studio is very big, neat, clean, and the staff is very nice. The artist I worked with (Technique) did a few amazing tattoos for me and Im looking forward to going back for more.

I am so so happy with Adrian!! I got my septum pierced here and he did such an amazing job (which is apparently difficult with septum piercings, as ive heard so many horror stories) and spent a lot of time on my anatomy (also very important). I posted it online on a piercing forum and everybody was talking about how well done it was. also, he was so easy and fun to talk to, and gave me free advice on my 3 y/o navel! despite my piercings and tattoos, I get really nervous about needles but he eased my nerves lol.a couple months ago, I also got my second lobe and my eyebrow done. Ive had zero problems and have gotten so many compliments on those as well! The name of the piercer who did those was Jenny. My only concern was the butterfly back, as Ive heard that flatback is the best, but there hasnt been a major issue yet. just hair stuck in it sometimes and my left lobe is generally hard to heal (happened with my first lobe too though, so definitely not her fault). The eyebrow has also gotten so many comments about how well it was done :)after a traumatic experience with a rejected industrial due to a piercer not taking into account my anatomy, Im so happy to find a great place that I can and will recommend to everybody. Cant wait to come back in a few months for my conch!

Ive gotten a couple tattoos here before, and came in for a septum piercing today. It was my first non-ear piercing, and Chris was my piercer, he made the entire experience quick and as painless as possible, and was very friendly. I would absolutely recommend him to anyone looking to get a piercing done.

Tried coming here for a walk in appointment- didn’t stay for more than 5 minutes. The lady at the desk was extremely rude and passive aggressive, and wasn’t helpful at all. We wanted to see if someone could design a tattoo from a picture for us and she was just extremely condescending. Would not recommend at all. She also told us a small tattoo wouldn’t work, and offered no better solution that would allow us to have the same design.

I had a great experience here getting second lobe piercings with a couple of friends. We were walk in clients and I felt that they were taking COVID seriously--enforcing capacity limits and everyone masked. My piercer was Jenny, and she was excellent!! Quick, clean, and professional. I highly recommend getting piercings with her.

I was in and out for my nose piercing. Nothing really over the top or underwhelming. It was what I expected. Selecting service was easy since I knew what was wanted. When I can to get my foot tattoo early this year, the artist was kind and walked me threw possible positions and sizes. Great experience for my first tattoo.

My friend and I got our ears pierced (lobes, tragus, forward helix) by Adrian. We were walk-ins and from showing up at 9:30 we were both out in 45 minutes. Adrian was very nice and professional. 10/10 cleanliness, aftercare instructions, and making sure we would be happy with the location of the piercings. He was knowledgeable about what could be done with different ear types and what would look good. Tbh his bedside manner was just the right level of Ive done this so many times its like riding a bike but not Ive done this so much I dont have to take it seriously Literally NBD in the best way.

Walked in and was greeted within a few minutes asking me what he could help me with. Within 5 minutes one of the artists looked at pictures and gave me a quote and asked if I’d like to get it done today. Put my name on the list and 30 minutes later I was sitting in Mike Baalke’s chair. He did an absolutely amazing job on my tattoo and worked very fast! I was a walk-in. So the long wait is expected . Guys here are pretty cool. No nonsense type people . I had a tattoo which I needed touched up and it came out okMy only issue is the young guy who was behind the counter . To all the male customers who walked in he wasn’t rude but he wasn’t polite either .6 young females came in and he was a dear in headlights . Paid more attention to them than the male customers . You should treat everyone equallyApart from this guy I would highly recommend this company . They know their stuff. Be polite and open minded and you won’t be sorry you came here

I visited Tattoo Factory while on vacation in Chicago. It seemed to be the highest rated shop around, so I thought it would be perfect. I requested some simple cursive on my arm, but I’m appalled at the lack of skill. There are several stray lines, pieces of letters that aren’t even connected, areas that should’ve been filled in, and several spots that have a series of tiny dots instead of a line. Overall line work was just awful. I wanted to say something, but the artist wrapped it up so quick and checked me out before I could. I’m very disappointed in this “high-end” tattoo shop. Once it heals, I plan on getting it fixed up with a local artist that I trust. I feel as if I was way overcharged, but I assumed it was because it was in a big city. However, I’ve now concluded that the cause of this poor quality and over priced tattoo was most likely because I was out of state. So please, don’t waste your time or money here.Edit: after reading other reviews about similar issues, I’m glad I’m not the only one.

This spot is the best. Ive gotten both tattoos here and piercing. Most recently Chris gave me a helix piercing on my ear. All the staff are professionals; friendly and knowledgeable. Very clean/sanity and I always leave feeling well prepared with how to take care of my newest tattoo or piercing.

Had two tattoos here, both simple (names and dates of my kids). First was fine if expensive, but the second - oh my word, the lines are TERRIBLE. How you can screw up a simple transferred outline I have no idea. Rushed, expensive (for the quality), but just bad. I have a lot of big pieces on my arms over the years and I’m thankful I didn’t get them done here. I have another kid on the way and I’m not gonna risk it here.If you’ve got something big in mind - I would suggest you go elsewhere.

The guys here are super friendly and make you feel welcomed and are not snobs. Bobby has done two of my tattoos and is so friendly. Calms me down so I’m not so nervous. Front desk guys were super nice as well. Recommend to anyone.

Went in about two weeks ago, very spur of the moment with some friends. Nicolas did my tattoo, and it turned out beautiful. Its almost done healing and I am in love with it. Hes got a light hand and did a fantastic job. My friends were also super happy with their ink!

Dont even waste you’re time here. I got a belly piercing in March and when I was asking the piercing lady questions she told me I could change it to a different one in 6-8 weeks. It recently got infected even tho I was cleaning and taking care of it so I called Chicago tattoo factory, they told me to come in and they will physically check it out for me to make sure it’s okay. I live 30 minutes away including the traffic and they completed wasted my time and gas. The piercer was extremely rude and didn’t actually check out my piercing, he was telling me things I could have googled myself and was extremely unhelpful, had the biggest attitude too. He’s chubby and tall possibly Mexican or Hispanic. I just wasn’t satisfied with their customer service and I will not be ever going back there. They also told me that I have to wait at least 3-4 months to change it but the other lady told me 6-8 weeks so I don’t know who to believe at this point. Extremely unprofessional

Four of us walked in on a Friday afternoon and got right in. None of us being from Chicago(from ND), we had no idea what we were walking into but everything was very professional and they made us feel comfortable. They took the time to design a great tattoo for 2 of us. I can’t remember what our tattoo artists names were but I believe the one that did 3 of ours was Zac? He was great! Thank you guys for everything the tattoos are amazing!

This place had an unfriendly vibe. If you’re going to ask me to put down a significant deposit before a consultation then at the very least I’d like for them to treat me like a customer and not an irritation. I also think that taking 15 minutes and seeing how a tattoo will look should be free. It seems coercive to ask for a deposit and then if you decide not to go with the tattoo then you’re out of the deposit. At that point, who’s going to back out?Reading through the comments and seeing the wholly unprofessional responses from the owner make me glad I didn’t go with these people. Just so the owner knows: pushing back against unhappy people is really a terrible way of doing business. You should learn how to control your temper. There are many other studios in the city, and even if they charge a lot more, it’s an absolute false economy to pay less for a place that makes your uncomfortable. I’m very surprised to see that this place has 4.0 stars on Yelp, perhaps there are really nice, skilled and talented people who work here, but my experience today was bad.

Got my second ear lobe piercings here a few weeks ago. Everyone was wearing masks and there was hand sanitizer available , which made me feel better about getting pierced during a pandemic. Jenny, the piercer, was super nice and helpful. She made sure I felt comfortable and everything was even and she answered some questions I had about getting a piercing in the future. I will definitely come back here and recommend it to others as well!

Hes great.I also went for my first tattoo and couldnt have asked for a better experience. Jerry was kind, polite, and made getting my first tattoo a breeze. He perfectly recreated a piece of handwriting I brought in, and a week later it is looking and feeling great! Thanks to everyone for a great experience.

Last night, I went to the tattoo factory for my very first tattoo. It was a simple butterfly on my ankle but I was still absolutely terrified. Jerry Thrash did my tattoo and made the experience super easy for me. He was so sweet and reassuring. Chris (who pierced three of my friends noses) also created such a fun atmosphere that helped me relax and have fun. 10/10 would recommend!

Beautiful shop and it’s a huge plus that they’re open till 2AM! Super friendly artists, and there’s a wide variety of work and styles they have around the shop that people can browse through. We’re from California, and 3 of us decided to get some tattoos together while in Chicago, and we all walked out happy with our pieces! They made sure the appropriate artists tackled on each piece, and even though there was a wait, time went by so quick. If I’m ever back in Chicago, I’ll definitely make a stop here again.

I got my first tattoo here and everyone I interacted with was very professional and made me feel extremely comfortable. Jerry did my tattoo, it was a simple Roman numeral tattoo but he was fantastic and made me feel at ease. This place is well-run and the artists are excellent. It’s very clean inside and pricing is fair. My husband’s been here as well, he had Dave do a tattoo for him. He got a photorealistic moon. It turned out perfectly and the whole experience was great. We will get all of our future tattoos from here for sure.

I also got my septum pierced here and the piercer was very professional and did a great job too. Ive walked past this place a thousand times and I finally went in yesterday for the first time for a nose piercing and I must say Im glad I did. The staff is amazing and so nice, the shop is so clean. I was taking care of by Chris he is truly a Gem who is also very funny and laid back. I cnt wait to go back. Thanks Guys

So this place is really decent, i got my nose pierced and the guy was really great. Fast forward to 3weeks later, i snagged it in my towel and it came out..(my bad) I lost the jewelry and rushed to get a replacement had to sit for a bit. But the woman who helped was great as well. Saw a few folks come and go because they didnt get immediate attention, dont know if they could hire someone to work the front. Other than the artists but I think it would capture more business and more people could get to experience how great they are.

Jenny was an amazing piercer! She made me feel comfortable (I was a nervous gal), was quick, clean, and kind. I highly recommend her and the whole shop and cannot wait to come back!

Good quality tattoos, a bit pricey for piercings but it is Uptown. the atmosphere is very nice tho and the staff is very queer/lgbtq friendly!

Spontaneously decided to pierce both my ears during a night out drinking and went here!They take walk ins (at least for piercings). Chris was great and I made sure to give him a nice tip. Two thumbs up 👍🏽👍🏽

I stopped in to meet with an artist about a cover-up, and was told to contact a specific artist when he was in. I called and spoke to Jody Reno, and he was very excited to do a custom piece and willing to work with my ideas and make adjustments until I was happy with the design. Since the piece was very large, we agreed on a very fair price split between two 4-hours sessions.He did a great job and was cordial and clean. The other artists in the shop were polite, and helpful. I would definitely go back!

The shop is very clean and a cool place to chill while getting inked. My artist George Papas is an extremely gifted artist. Hes very reasonable and has over 30 years of experience and extremely talented. I highly recommend him if you are looking to get inked.

Ive been a long time customer since the late 80s. If you have any inclination for this service industry all you need to do is look at the reputation, quality and awesomeness they give. I have a boat load of tattoos and my wife has several piercings so I am not a newbie. They have this sweet pub next door that is always friendly and inviting to hang out in. Its been in the family for a couple decades and the employees have been there forever. I would give 6 out of 5 if I could. Paul means a lot to me and my family and I recommend him, his employees and his businesses for any service that he offers. It has certainly taken the reign of the oldest biggest and best tattoo studio in Chicago!

Ive been here several times for small tattoos, but I gotta say, working on my multi session back piece with Melissa has given me more perspective on this place. Over the past few months, Ive spent well over 20 hours there and Ive gotten to see the different artists interact with each other and their customers. This place is clean, professional and the artists and friendly and make me feel comfortable there. I have been to many shops over the years and some have a vibe when you go in that is off-putting. You do not get that here.

Best experience I have ever had at a tattoo shop. Very clean establishment and friendly staff. I came in Saturday night with 3 other friends and we all got tattoos and I got a piercing also. Melissa Stock gave me my tattoo and I am in love. Hank, who did my piercing, was very professional and made me feel at ease. Unfortunately there were problems with the credit card machine but the owner, Paul, went above and beyond to help resolve the problem. I highly recommend this tattoo shop!!!

Have gotten a couple tattoos from this place, brought in my own designs (Im an illustrator) and they were both extremely simple. Got paired with a guy who brilliantly botched them. Didnt follow my lines, the lines are all wobbly and crooked and uneven--I dont want to be mean but my 4 year old niece draws better. Went in a second time and the same exact guy picked my name out (he remembered me and also probably remembered that I tip well.) I was too shy to ask for another artist and thought I would give him a second chance only to be botched even worse the second time. I wish I could reference his name but hes not even on their website.One of the tattoos is getting lasered, working on finding a cover up artist for the other one. Wish I had known about their reputation before--when I tell my new artists where I got them done, they laugh when they hear the name tattoo factory and say theyve never heard of anything good come out of here.If youre getting permanent art on your body, PLEASE research your artists beforehand. Tattoos here are not only terrible, but overpriced, and even MORE overpriced considering I have to get cover ups and laser.

I got my first tattoo here a few days ago. I was feeling reallly anxious because it was my first tattoo and I have a low pain tolerance, but it ended up being an amazing experience. My tattoo artist was very kind and talked me through the whole process and made this a very enjoyable experience for me. My tattoo came out amazing. Thank you so much. If I decide to get another tattoo, I will definitely be coming back.

Ive been coming here for a few years now (I believe 2012 I had my first visit) and recently for my birthday I started my sleeve with Nicolas. I highly recommend him, great guy and always down to earth and can talk about everything. I really do enjoy the atmosphere when I come here, maybe its the kid in the candy store feeling. I directly use email to contact my artist. Its professional, I will always recommend this gem of a shop and keep a stack of cards for my guy. Walk-ins welcome but if you want to put some cool art on your body I would pick an artist and schedule an appointment.I come here maybe once or twice a year now to add pieces. Sometimes spontaneous and other times really well planned out. I have been planning the tattoo on my arm for 2 years! Its a sleeve, I had to make sure everything was just right. Tattoos take time and effort so dont rush your artist. Free your day for larger tattoos. Also drink water and eat stuff because ya might pass out if you dont! Tattoo artists love cash! Cash makes them happy, always try to bring cash!And yes, you should get that butt cheek tattoo. You wont regret it!

I came in on 3/22/2021 for a consultation and George offered to take up the tattoo, even though he didnt agree with the placement of where it would be put. I put $100 deposit down and came back on 4/17/2021. Once I got there George had no idea who I was, what tattoo I wanted, or if I even left a deposit. He told me during the consultation hed have some designs ready but there was nothing ready. Scheduled at 10am but didnt start until 10:30/10:45 and he finished in about an hour, maybe less but had given me an estimate of an 1 1/2 to 2 hours on the 22nd. The unprofessionalism reflected in the art as it felt rushed and some line work was not consistent. The shape of the diamond I had was unnsymetrical and needs extra work now to correct it. Overall it felt more like a cash grab than an artist sharing their art.Edit 8/18/2021If you want to see how the owner of this establishment treats his clients take a look at his responses to the low star reviews. Took my best friend of 25+ years here to get his ear pierced for his birthday (and based on a dare). Chris was great- we were in and out within 15 minutes, and it looks great!

My husband and I were both tattooed today by Mike. Mike did a great job! Not only is he an awesome artist but kept us entertained with his uplifting conversation and sense of humor! I would definitely go back to the tattoo factory and see Mike again. Also, the shop is extremely clean and well maintained.

I walked in, the front long haired attendent greeted me with a smile. Asked me what I was coming in for. I told them, introduced me to Chris. While Chris was attending a call, the attendent and I had some great small talk about the services they provide. Really it helped ease me into getting something very new and wild to me. Chris, they introduced themselves, asked me the routine questions, ,prepped me on what was to come. Chris coached and eased me in to the process as well. Gave me the 411 on dos and dont. The process was quick and not as scary as IWhat I thought. It would be. Great experience for this,Cool staff. I recommend this place for sure..Thank you again . An experience to remember.

Maxwell re-set a rejecting dermal for me, and its been smooth sailing ever since. Jody has done two of my husbands tattoos and theyre super high quality. Both of them are knowledgeable and professional, and well always recommend the Tattoo Factory for getting good work done.

I have plenty of tattoos and I always heard stories about people truly vibing with their tattoo artists, and having artists design something for them. I have never experienced this in my first 10 tattoos and I didn’t really understand. I’ve always been talked down to by artists, I’ve had artists not want to put any ounce of creativity whatsoever into the tattoos I want, I was used to it. This was until I went to tattoo factory. Everyone here was SO friendly, from the person at the front desk to my artist, Kris. He 100% listened to me and didn’t make me feel any sort of negative way, and worked with me to design a tattoo I wanted. He literally sketched it right in front of me and I’ve never had that type of transparency and wow it was so cool to watch! He made sure I was comfortable throughout the entire process, and he is just so so so freaking talented. Now I know to settle for nothing less! I will be coming back. Thank you thank you thank you!!!

My friends and I all got matching tattoos at the shop. The workers were very professional, but also very friendly. We were able to get in and out fairly quickly, even with the tattoo artists working with us to design Our Tattoos. It was relatively cheap, considering how much work they ended up doing.

Adrian is the best go to him. He knew that I was a nurse and still proceeded with complete bedside manner and was very sanitary and efficient. I recently had my nose pierced and it was not what I desired it fell out and this man made it on fleek again! Plus, for new people getting piercings, hes very descriptive and very informative about what he does, so dont be worried, just go there!!!

Dave worked with me via email for a few weeks leading up to my Chicago trip. Even though we wound up being an hour late due to traffic, we had zero wait; Dave already had our stencils ready! The shop itself is impressive; very spacious, beautiful artwork, and super clean. Dave made the work seem effortless, and was very kind. Im actually jealous that I live 1,000 miles away and cant schedule my next piece with him!

I got my first tattoo here a few years ago, by Melissa. She was awesome and my tattoo came out exactly how I wanted it. I went back today to get both daiths pierced. I waited for probably less than 15 minutes. The person who did both of my piercings was friendly and really meticulous. He talked to me and made sure to ask if I was ok after each piercing. They also have an ATM inside. Highly recommend Tattoo Factory for any tattoos or piercings.

Love that theyre open early-ish, peircers are in by 11am. Wasnt crowded, no wait time, very clean, peircer was friendly and supportive. I read conments about not being given long enough jewelry for the nose piercing to accommodate swelling, my jewelry is def long enough.

I went to Tattoo Factory to inquire about a cover up and to asked about piercing jewelry. I waited at least 5 minutes before being noticed. Finally, I was able to speak with a tattoo artist. He was helpful, but couldnt do the cover-up. That piercing woman interacted with me as if I was getting on her nerves for asking questions.Truth hurts, but its cool. I was ask my opinion and I gave it. No red carpet needed, I wish you guys nothing but the best, however my EXPERIENCE Made my decision for me. I was truthful so Im ok with your response. Peace

My son and I walked in at 10am and both artists were accomodating and got us right in. Very professional and the tats look great.

They did a great job with my nose piercing. Their piercer was professional and very thorough when it came to explaining care instructions. He even told me to come in anytime for a follow up or new gauge if I felt uncomfortable with the one I got. This place might not be the cheapest, but if youre doing body modification, your health is worth more than saving a few bucks.

Got my first tattoo. They were awesome! My daughter tried to get her ears pierced and freaked after the first one. They were so patient with her and so kind. Everyone is so nice and so patient and the tattoo came out perfect! Im really happy!

I have gotten 5 tattoos and 1 piercing here so far. This is a classic tattoo shop. They have been around for a very long time and know what they are doing. They have plenty of samples of things on the walls, a lot of people will bring images on their phones. I have even brought printed pieces of paper. You dont have to jump through consultation appointments for anything but large tattoos, and if you are looking for a place to form a deep emotional bond with your tattooist, this is not the place for you.I recently went to get #4 and #5 done. They have Covid saftey measures in place. They are always busy so I recommend calling/emailing ahead to make an appointment. You can drop in but you are going to have to wait as those who made appointments go first. This goes for non-pandenic times as well.They are handicap friendly. Super clean facility. And the golden rule there, if you come in under the influence, you wont get tattooed, it is the law.

My sister and I got simple identical tattoos on identical places. We had different artists. Hers turned out great! Mine turned out... Not as great. Mine looks so fuzzy and Im so disappointed. The people were very nice, though.

I’ve known Jerry essentially my entire life. Great family friend and person. But his work also amazes me and his great personality. He calls everyone baby, babe, sweetie, etc because that’s just who he is. 🖤 he did my octopus in late May, and the Slipknot one over 4 years ago. And another one on my calf on my other leg. I’m going to him tomorrow for things added to me sea themed sleeve, and my baby sister is getting some new work too. My dad has only had work from him, half of mine is him, my sisters only tattoo is him, etc. he’s the best in every way possible. Definitely recommend. 🖤🖤🖤
