Im obsessed with my tattoo. I sent Serena some reference images and she totally nailed what I was going for with her own creation. My tattoo is a lot less colorful and smaller than what you might see on her website, but she still delivered in this style, and I really just couldn’t be happier with it. I really loved the space, too…Really chill and prívate (and great music!)

I have worked on a custom piece with Serena over the past year and she has done an incredible job at translating my design ideas into an amazing, one-of-a-kind tattoo. She is easy to work with, abundantly creative, and extremely gentle and thoughtful during the actual tattooing process. I couldnt possibly recommend her more highly!!

I had a lovely experience with Serena! She is easy to work with and has great communication - appointment reminders with clear instructions and quick responses while finalizing designs. The tattooing went smoothly and was almost painless and is done in her wonderfully comfortable work space. My tattoo is exactly what I wanted. I would strongly recommend Serena!

Ive held off on posting this review for a while because I didnt really know what to make of this experience. Serena had tattooed a couple of my friends and came with a very high recommendation.I am happy with the end result but I wont be returning and I wouldnt recommend her to any of my friends.The overall consultation process was not smooth or easy. I found myself having to repeat over and over what I wanted in order to get it incorporated into the design. If I requested two or three changes be made, she would only change one thing and Id have to again repeat myself. It got to the point where I just had to copy and paste exactly what I wanted in order for it to get incorporated. She even forgot to add a design element while tattooing me even though we had agreed on it through email earlier that week.Another odd thing: I paid for the consultation appointment prior to seeing her but she tried to charge me again at the end of the appointment. She also tried to schedule my tattoo appointment during the consultation even though I had also already scheduled that with her through email as well. She was very forgetful and scattered.Serenas behavior the day of my actual tattoo appointment was very unprofessional and short. At one point, I reached over to gesture to the direction that I wanted my tattoo to face and she smacked my hand away. I was frankly in shock that she felt it was appropriate to put her hands on me like that.Im very happy with the end result. It wasnt exactly how I envisioned it but its still beautiful and Ill cherish it forever.But I absolutely will not return to Serena and I would not recommend her to any of my friends.

Ive been going to serena for almost 20 years and id never go to anyone else. she has a keen eye for placement and design that will last as your skin changes. Her specialty is color but she can seriously do anything you want. new clients should trust her style and advice, its never led me astray. aside from her confirmed talent, her studio is super cozy and comfortable, and the privacy of a 1-1 tattoo appointment is priceless. ive never stopped getting compliments on my tattoos and im so thankful for all the time and energy shes put into my work!

Serena and her studio is the best. Youll never want to go to a tattoo parlor again. Her designs are wonderful and the peacefulness of her studio is the only way to be tattooed.
