Underrated and overlooked! This tattoo shop is off the beaten path, but its home to some incredibly talented artists!! Adding some of my most recent pieces done by J. Hes been tattooing me for over a decade now!

Mike is a phenomenal artist Jay too its a great place to inked by professional ink stingers who know thier trade and do great work. Id give top hat tattoo 10 stars.

I was looking for an artist who knew how to work with darker skin tones a couple years back for my first tattoo. Im so glad I found Jay. Ive been back to the shop several times since my first time. I would be typing forever singing my praises about him so Ill leave it at that. Mike, the shop owner is cool as hell too. Go check them out.

Very professional work and customer service great tattoo spot for experienced and first time tattoos, good environment and energy coming from the artist and very reasonable pricing I have gotten 4 tattoos with in a 4 month period covering my whole left arm I couldn’t be more content with the work. #5⭐️

Such dope people and amazing talent!! Called last minute as a walk in and still was able to get my tattoo done. Both Julio (my tattoo artist) and the owner of the shop stayed 3 hours past closing time. My tattoos healed quickly and nicely. Definitely coming here again for all my tattoos.

I had an absolutely awesome experience here (last night!). I had been planning and thinking about my tattoo for a while, in honor of a dear friend of mine who recently passed away, but I am not an artist so I had no idea how to produce on paper the image I had in my mind. From the moment I walked in, J was friendly, welcoming, and super chill. He helped me work through a bunch of different sketches and listened patiently as I talked about “the idea” behind the tattoo as much as I wanted (using adjectives that make no sense to a visual artist 😂). The end result was a totally perfect tattoo - I’m so so please with it. Thank you so much, J - I will for sure be back to see you in the future! 💗

My last tattoo was done 17 years ago by Mike a friend of mine that works there. It was awesome to catch up with him and get my next tattoo by him Mike thanks again for another great tattoo very very happy . I came in on a last minute girls night out. I was just going to get a piercing but they dont pierce. When I heard the guns going I got a bad itch. Mike did my tattoo...the bacon looking one on my upper arm in the pictures I posted above. It totally peeled off while healing thank God. And then literally the flowers disappeared. I went back to see Mike to ask for a refund. I should have never cheated on my tattoo guy anyways. I knew better. He screamed at me telling me it still needed to heal and needed a touch up..excuse me but Ill never let anyone in this shop touch me again especially after the way he freaked out on me when I was trying to be as cool as possible about this horrific tattoo. I feel like I let someone learning how to tattoo work on me. I have 12 tattoos. Never have I already needed a touch up before it even healed. Not a touch up, a complete RE do. Dont go here. Completely unprofessional, rude and inexperienced.

My sister and I were recommended Top Hat by a friend to get matching tattoos. We walked in and were greeted by Crystal, who was very friendly and helpful. We set separate appointments and were on our way out. After some emailing back and forth with Crystal, she took an original piece of artwork and was able to color it, too, as it was originally in black and white. She was able to choose the colors and scaling to each of our liking. She did a spectacular job on both of us, and was quick and friendly. As far as a first tattoo goes, it was a very minimally painful experience. The shop is small and very open, so there are privacy room dividers if you want them. It is also very clean and each person practices good hygiene and has the proper disposal units for needles and the like. I left satisfied with tips and recommendations for upkeep during the healing process and afterwards. Though Crystal is no longer there, I would definitely recommend.

Amazing place. I got one of my tattoos redone and the difference was million times better. They are amazingly skilled with so friendly nature. Also they use a spray that is literally PAINLESS way of getting tattoo

Low-key place that makes you feel comfortable. Had a piece done by Su and its was a great experience as well as an awesome final tattoo. Would definitely recommend this place to anyone.
