NBA tattoo

Justin, I apologize for any damage this may do to your business. You’re a good dude, but this tattoo is awful.My friends and I went in to have 4 done, left after the first because it was done so poorly. I don’t know if it was an off day, if he was rushing because he wanted to get all 4 done, or if it was some other issue. The tattoo is terrible. The stencil was sick. Justin really did a great job taking the reference and making a dope looking tat. The issues came when he attempted to execute the stencil. The line weight is inconsistent, the line work is wobbly, the stencil wasn’t followed and multiple proportions are out of wack. He added lines arbitrarily to one side and not the other. The gaps are inconsistent, the lines end randomly, the nose is crooked, the eyes are different shapes. It’s like one of those pictures where the longer you look the worse it gets. The room was cluttered and did not feel sterile. I paid full price for the tattoo and added a tip. I was kind and cordial, but do not want anyone else to have a similar experience. The positive reviews seem to be for tats done for friends or by those that got tatted by Mikey or Brandon. The owner seemed dope, and Justin is a good dude, but the tattoo is one of the worst I’ve ever seen. I strongly encourage you to take your business elsewhere and not get spur of the moment tattoos.

Me and my boyfriend went here to get a tattoo for his birthday and we loved the outcome of the tattoo the artist was very professional and with an inspiration pic he made the tattoo look even better and the pricing was great for the amount of time and the detail in the tattoo

Last week I went to this place for the first time to get a new tattoo. My experience was very good, the artist takes his time to show you in different ways how your tattoo would look before doing it and that is very important. I recommend it 100% since it is also a clean and professional place. Thk you Brandon

Great people there but artist doesn’t know what he’s doing. First of all went there two weeks ago and got a medium sized tattoo he only did the outline because the artist was too hot and sweating so he said come back in two weeks. Today came back to get it shaded it. He didn’t even ask for the reference picture again until a quarter of the way through and shaded spots that were supposed to be and others not. He did give me half off though so it was only $60 but that’s because I think he knew it was bad.

Mikey, the owner (a true Master), and Justin, Tattoo Artist, are where its at in Cleveland! They accommodated my family on the fly and the work they deliver for your need of ink is beautiful, precise, a true piece of art should you slide your way up north in Ohio! Mike is dope with the gun thats for damn sure, they are currently undergoing construction but its very comfortable in there. I love the graffiti on the walls and the murals in the rooms. The music was good. Its was a good mix of genres. Hes an up and coming shop and forreal deserve all the business he gets. Addison did my finance tattoo today too. She said conversations in there where good he was optimistic young and ready to work. I am ready to see more work from both these guys. I got animaniacs and my fiance got a silhouette of mickey and Minnie mouse cover up honest prices and honest work

Just had Mikey do one of his own tattoo designs very detailed and professionally done great artist. I will definitely have him do more of my tattoos.

Nice place, very good people, Justin did an amazing job with me and my fiancés tattoos. Was very relaxed and very welcoming and always a good place to have a tattoo placement if you dont like it they can always fix it without getting mad like other places do. Vary nice employees, But they havent yet to do piercings. Its been over two months and they keep promising to doom, and im still waiting to get my one of my snake bites done and just been calling and still havent they havent been approved to do piercings again

So satisfied with the professional piecers work, Brandon. He thoroughly went through the effort of making sure we were talking about the same piercing that I wanted and the process, the difference and his calm and informative manners were very appreciated. Absolutely awesome place to go to get some ink. I felt very relaxed. Shout out to Justin my artist. He did a really good job and help me with deciding on placement. I will definitely be going back to this cool shop. There is some really excellent talent in this shop.

I saw Mikey for a small tattoo on my upper arm and was blown away with his design elements, for sure exceeded my expectations and he was just a genuinely good hearted guy! You can tell he cares tremendously about his craft. I also highly appreciated his help in placement due to being double jointed. This is something other artists haven’t pointed out or helped with during placement, but I love that no matter how I move my arm it stays in place due to his suggestion.

Stopped in with my bestie for Friday the 13th and had an amazing experience. Brandon is the master with piercings. He’s extremely knowledgeable and chill. Mikey tatted me and was so meticulous. Couldn’t recommend either of these dudes enough. I’ll definitely make the 3+ hour trip back to see these guys in the future!

Got my first tat here and I am so happy with the results! I’ve gotten compliments on my tat just after one day. Friendly environment and I felt very comfortable. I called back today b/c I couldn’t remember the aftercare and the person I spoke to was nice and helpful! Thanks again for everything!

Best tattoo artist in Cleveland in my opinion because we were on a road trip back home we called Mikey the night before To see if he had any openings and he was able to come in before he was actually opened to squeeze us in while on our road trip back home and did amazing work on me and my friend 10/10 would go back

My friend and I visited recently as walk ins. Brandon and Addison helped us out. We showed them the tattoos we wanted and they were quick to sketch them out and get started. Tattoos turned out great and healed quickly. Highly recommend and definitely will be back!

Super cool guy! My wife and I were out for an Anniversary weekend and decided to get a his n her tattoo! It was 8pm and we called Mikey! He stayed 2 hrs past closing just to get us done!! Would go back and will go back to Mikey! Thanks again Sir great work!

Mikey did an amazing job. I came in with a bigger piece that had tons of detail and he didn’t flinch, he drew it up and got started we went well past close but he was in no rush. He wanted it done perfect vs quick. He is the only person I will go to for my next tattoo.

Ask for Brandon! This was the best experience I’ve ever had at a tattoo/piercing shop. My jewelry got stuck in my ear and he not only was about to help me out but he also is extremely knowledgeable about his profession and will definitely make sure to take care you you the safest way possible.

My friends and I (4 of us total) were in town for a short period of time together. We wanted to get matching tattoos for a friend we had lost. Being unfamiliar with the area we googled locations. We came here and do not regret it one bit. We didn’t have appointments and literally showed up at the front door. Mikey, the owner and artist that did our tattoos, was accommodating from the start. He listened intently to our ideas and then went to work putting them together for us. He gave us a bunch of font options to choose from. Mikey is a perfectionist, which is what you love to see in an artist. He brings a lot of experience to the table. He was very precise and did a great job for all of us and we walked out loving the tattoos and have them to honor our friend. His line work is outstanding and he’s very precise. The parlor itself is great. Very clean and a lot of cool work put into the space. He has a lot of sketches hanging up that are really great. As far as cleanliness/set up for each tattooing, again, Mikey is a perfectionist and did great ensuring everything was done correctly. Thanks again for taking care of us on super short notice. I would recommend NBA Tattoo to anybody in the area.

Brandon is absolutely amazing! I had a VCH piercing done and I felt so comfortable and safe. Everything looked perfect and it was one of the best piercing experiences Ive had!
