First time getting ink. Had a great experience. Came here specifically because of wonderful word-of-mouth from friends and the community.Went back and got two more! Will definitely be returning.Thank you Todd!

Very clean,very nice and very professional. I went to have my nose Pierced and it was quick and painless the lady doing my piercing walked me through what she was doing and even explained after care on my piercing. I had an issue where I do have a phobia of blood so after words when I went to check my piercing in the mirror I seen blood and got light headed and the women was quick to come to my aid and sit me down. She gave me water,placed a cold wet cloth on my head and basically coached me until I felt better. I wish I could thank her again. Most importantly I love my piercing and I will be coming back in the future and I will definitely recommend to any one who wishes to have the same treatment and piercing done.

This place is amazing! I just walked in there and asked for a second piercing on my earlobe and to fix my first ear that was uneven and they did exactly that. they were very sweet and got the job done quick and painlessly. they walked me through what they were doing and told me how to clean it afterwards. GO TO BRIGHTMORE!!

I get pierced by Kristin each time that I have came in! She always does an amazing job, and explains everything thoroughly. The atmosphere is great, and everything is super sanitary.

I stopped in to get my first professional tattoo and to get my ears pierced and everyone was so kind and helpful. My artist Cydnee did such a good job and was super chill. It didn’t take long at all and the building is very cool and clean. I’ll definitely be back for more.

I stopped in to see Cody Black to get a few small pieces and he was excellent! Super friendly, professional, precise, and great to work with. He gave me exactly what I asked for and even made suggestions ti make them even better! After my tattoos I went up front and check out the jewelry and got a new nose ring. The girls up there were awesome. The shop was clean, had a great atmosphere and cool decor. The was an awesome experience and I will definitely go back.

I came in today to get my ears pierced and it was such a great experience . it was decently quick and very clean! probably one of the cleanest tattoo shops ive ever been in. the girl that did my ears was very fun to talk to and did an amazing job explaining the process! she was super sweet and i love my piercings! they are so cute and i definitely recommend!!

Been here multiple times with my wife and kiddos. Staff is always welcoming and helpful. They always made the kids feel confident and comfortable with their piercings. Longest we have ever had to wait is about 30 minutes and thats rare. Tattoos and piercings always good quality all depends on the care you give it while healing.

I’ve had two piercings done at Brightmoor, my nose & a conch piercing. The shop does not have a private booth for piercings. I’m fact, it’s right in front of the shop opening’s front door. The piercings are cheap; the two that I’ve had done have both been done by an apprentice (i know everyone needs practice) but my nose piercing has been an absolute pain to heal because of the way it was pierced. Additionally, they allow the option of piercing with a hoop, which I got. This is not recommended by any reputable piercing shop. The shop uses cheap, externally threaded jewelry which is another red flag as this can irritate and damage your piercing when swapping it. My two friends are both having problems with their daith piercings as well. The piercers have great personalities and were very friendly but I won’t be back.

I love this place and everyone that works here . They make every part of the body modification experience feel safe and comfortable. Also the Tattoo artist are extremely talented I recommend letting any of them get creative and add extra flare to your tattoos.

Good prices, got nose pierced. Quick and easy progress. Never had one before afterward got told by someone else it was peiced to low and shouldnt bleed like mine did. Called store they told me it was normal to bleed. I got several bloody noses and blood on outside of my nose within the first couple of hours on the first day and is very tender to the touch. Do not get peiced there.

I Highly recommend Kristin at Brightmoor Tattoo for all your piercings. The ladies here are so friendly and welcoming and will answer all of your questions and concerns. I came in for a couple of piercings not sure what I wanted to get done and Kristin took wonderful care of me and made great suggestions on what I should add to what I’ve already got. We decided to add only two cartilage piercings as she suggested adding too many in a small space may delay the healing process, and I feel very comforted knowing she was concerned about how I will heal rather than trying to make more money. The piercing process was so quick and easy and came out perfect! I felt very calm as she explained the entire process from start to finish and she was very gentle the entire time. Not only was I able to add two new piercings, she also helped me pick out jewelry for my other piercings and even changed them out for me at no extra cost. Recently I was going to travel to a place in Nashville for an ear curation and they were wanting to charge me $200 just to look at my ear and map out new piercings/jewelry options, so glad I decided to come to Brightmoor instead and was able to have that same service for a literal fraction of the cost! And they are also running a special through the end of the month and was informed that they run specials every couple of months or so! I plan on returning in a couple of months to finish the rest of my ear project!

I went to Brightmoore last Friday to get my nose pierced after someone had recommended them to me. I am so glad I went there. Everyone was really nice, and Pagie was the one who did my piercing. I was nervous, and she explained everything to me and told me each step through the process. The whole process was quick and easy. I will definitely be back. I cant say enough great things about this place and the people who work there. I highly recommend them.

DO NOT, I repeat DO NOT, go to this shop for any type of piercing procedure. They pierce at the wrong size for specific piercings/ anatomy. They use nickel based metals and will tell you its nickel free + titanium. They use cheap externally threaded jewelery only that damages any tissue. Please if you care about your body and healing piercings well at all, stay far far away from this shop at all coasts. I understand the price might be attractive, but stop and think as to why their piercings are so cheap. Its for a reason. And that reason is they are causing harm on purpose. If I could rate this place lower I would. Just very heartbreaking what these piercers are doing to people.

I went for my second lobe piercing and Kristin did absolutely amazing! i told her that i had an extremely low pain tolerance and she numbed me and proceeded to calm my nerves. she went through every step before she did it and made the process so much easier!! she also picked out the best stud to go with my daily earrings! if i ever do need another piercing i will for sure go back!!

I highly recommend Brightmoor Tattoo to anyone who is looking for a tattoo. I got my work done by Myke, who did an outstanding job! He was able to cover up 7 of my tattoos and you can not even notice that the new piece is a cover up. Very nice environment as well as staff. Honestly we walked in not knowing what. We are not from here so bless their hearts for dealing with two chicks from mass. They crew there was amazing. All the staff members were so pleasant. One had a coat hanger tattoo and she’s my new best friend.! And at this point we will follow Rudy any where he goes.! Thank a yall for dealing with us for a few hours .!

I just had my nose pierced there by Jade and she did an awesome job! She was so nice and informative while I was super nervous. The piercing was quick and hardly even hurt. The place is very clean and not intimidating for people like me that haven’t had any tattoos or piercings before either! I will definitely recommend this place to friends and will come back if I want anything else done!!

Very friendly atmosphere and Ashlyn (piercer) walked my younger sister through the entire process of the nose piercing step by step and made her feel way less nervous!! She was also super informative about after care which is awesome cause shockingly you don’t get that everywhere!

They may do nose piercings okay but i do not recommend getting special cartilage piercings done there. i have 17 piercings and know how theyre supposed to heal. i had to take my ear piercings out after 2 weeks because they were not done right. after the first couple of days i was suspicious something wasnt right. figured id give it some time see how it heals.. but they were not healing properly and mind you ive healed 17 other piercings just fine! dont recommend them for any special cartilage piercing.

I had called several places wanting to just get this one tiny tattoo spur of the moment that meant the world to me. I had been here for piercings before but never tattoos. So an opening finally came open for my tattoo idea and Cydnee agreed to see me at 5. She is the best at color schemes and making your dream a reality. Also very friendly and professional. I was supposed to go back about a month or 2 later to get my free touch up and 7 months later still no openings for my free touch up of my tattoo. The color is there but needs to be brightened and needs some brown added as it didnt show up very well, now Ill have to wait til after February and hope I can get in to get it fixed since Im currently not in the position to get inked or pierced right now. But I still agree the workmanship is wonderful I just think when you tell someone to come back in a certain time to fix and you arent able to take them that maybe a better scheduling should be in place for quick post touch ups. Updated with a now picture to show what needs touched up.

I got my septum done by Arnita today. She greeted me immediately upon entering. It was a very casual environment which I liked. I was a walk in but was sat down within 10 minutes of walking in. She was very kind and explained everything she was doing. It was super quick and nearly painless. She also thoroughly explained my aftercare instructions. Will definitely be back for other piercings!

Brightmoor is the only place in Columbia I will go. This shop provides excellent customer service and top quality work for a fair price. All the artists in shop are great, and they also bring in different guest artists throughout the year, so whatever tattoo style you want your needs/expectations will be met. This shop is spacious and IMMACULATE! Hands down the cleanest shop I’ve ever been to. Big thanks to the owners for everything they do!

PLEASE DO NOT GET PIERCED HERE. i went to get a smiley piercing here and they told me very casually that there might be some risk of gum erosion, but they made it sound very rare. i went to another shop less than two months later to get my jewelry changed and was told i had bad gum damage and that if i left it in, i was risking losing my 4 front teeth, and that the jewelry that was marketed as high quality was actually very poor and was eroding my gums quicker. so i called this shop back to politely ask that they be more transparent with future customers and the manager immediately responded with hostility and put the blame on me, telling me that i hold the responsibility. it’s absurd to me that the professionals told me i was responsible for knowing all the information, especially when they told me the risks but played it down as much as they did. he also called me sweetheart while yelling at me and was being incredibly unprofessional. i absolutely recommend you stay as far away from this place as you can.

Paige and Kristin took WONDERFUL care of my two girls (ages 8 and 9) when we showed up unannounced to get their ears pierced! My daughters were excited, but very nervous about the potential pain involved.The ladies took their time to explain every step that would happen, comfort and reassure them, and they told them which step they were on throughout the process. They showed my girls the tools that would be used, including the NUMBING they did on the earlobes!!!Each of my girls said a quick and quiet “ow” when the needle went through but immediately said, “Oh that barely hurt at all!”They used completely sterilized tools, wore gloves, and made it all happen very quickly! I most definitely recommend Brightmoor for ear piercings for children!!!

Unsatisfied. Waited over an hour. Given they were busy but there were multiple people that went in front of me. I still waited I’m not one to complain if you’re busy but I had been sitting for a while and they just continued to skip over me.Update lady that did my piercings was very nice considering she was new at it. Best place around to get pierced! Theyre clean, calm, quick, and walk you through everything theyre doing and make sure youre ok the whole time. Ive got both my conches and both daithes done here and am extremely satisfied with them all. The most pain free piercings I have, and the instant relief I got from my headaches when she pierced my daith made everything so much better. 15/10, highly recommend.

Ive had multiple tattoos done by Dreamer at this location. Not only has all of Dreamers work been exceptional, the shop is extremely clean. The owners have always been present, and make sure everything runs smoothly. Customer service is great, and the artist really take their time to chat with you to make sure, you get what it is you desire. I will continue to support this establishment!!

My fiance and I had piercings done here while they were offering above the hip piercings for $15. She got her Industrial well I got my labret. The girl did very well and was very quick. Two people are awesome and I would recommend getting piercings or ink work done here any day.

Amazing place! Ive had 4 tattoos done here! Rudy did my first, and he was so polite and helped calm me down considering Ive never had a tattoo before and I was scared. Cody did my second tattoo, and he did amazing at it! Hes work is elegant and very well done for an apprentice at that time. Daniel has done my 3rd and 4th tattoo, and still working on my 4th one weve had to do it in sessions cause of my job. Hes a nice guy to talk to, and hell be honest with you about the tattoo as well, hell even help you pick the colors for them as well! This tattoo shop is by far the best here in Columbia.

Very nice staff, clean shop, and very professional throughout getting my daith pierced. Went in with a headache after 2 days and left with having relief, I even giggled when the piercing was completed. Im so happy to find relief after years of taking medication and being sick to my stomach. I highly recommend if you suffer from headaches and migraines to get this piercing done!

I am beyond satisfied. Epic communication before, during and after. Nick Bruno was our artist. My husband and brother both got Rick and Morty tattoos which have amazing color and flawless line. I walked in with a small image of a dinosaur. I expected to have a medium sized triceratops put on my neck. Bruno let me know it’s significantly more expensive to have work done on my neck. So I told him I would like it on my chest. Once I got into the chair, after my hub and brother went, Bruno placed an epic stencil with way more than I ever expected within our budget. The lines are flawless and the color is so radiant. Im blown away at how much Bruno did, allowing his creativity to shine as bright as the perfect bole colors he worked with. Ive gotten many tattoos by other artists in other shops. Hands down this is the cleanest, most comfortable and convenient shop Ive had the pleasure of being in. Lastly, Bruno worked wonders within my budget. The artists and level of professionalism as well as skill set the multiple artists possess have made it my 100% only go to place for my entire family and all of our tattoo and piercing needs. To wrap it up I will end with saying if your already experienced or a tattoo virgin you will not regret going to Brightmoor. I highly recommend setting up an appointment with Nick Bruno.

Stopped in today, the female piercer at the front was helpful and pointed my in the direction of the tattoo artists. There were 6 people sitting around the desk and no one greated me or asked what I was in the market for. I flipped through the books for awhile and read the irony of their signs about paying for good tattoos...well, we cant pay for good tattoos if customers cant get customer service! Such a shame.

My mom and I came in today for her first tattoo. My second. We got a design that they created for us, after we told them what we wanted. Cody was our tattoo artist. He was FANTASTIC! Everyone there is so nice and super friendly. Cody was such a delight. He talked to us the whole time, told us about some of his tattoos and was just so relaxed and easy going, it made it super easy for us to get ours, without any anxiety at all. If youre looking for a good tattoo with an incredible atmosphere, not to mention clean, go to Brightmoor, and ask for Cody. You will NOT be disappointed.

I got my first ever tattoo the day before my birthday and Cody did an amazing job!!!! I was terrified at first but he talked me down and it ended up being painless and even relaxing! It has healed so nice and I’m ready to come back for another one. :)

So My mother and I got 2 lettering tattoos for my passed cousin yesterday. the tattoo artist himself was very nice and im sure does really great other tattoos, but we are both disappointed in the tattoos. The style isnt clean and didnt come out how we wanted it to. The tattoo emblems werent strait or even really made to look even. the lettering on my own is just kinda sloppy and isnt connected like it should be. I enjoy this place for piercings and Im sure when its in the style the artists work in, it turn out amazing, but if you cannot do the style or are not good at lettering, please tell your client. These tattoos were for his year anniversary of his death and just due to the sentimental statement of thes pieces we are not happy.

I’ve taken my Child here twice for piercings, once when she was 11, and again at 15. Both times they were very quick, professional, and kind. Definitely recommend for piercing.

Went here several times with wife. Spent several 1000.$ here. Rony worked on my wife. This guy is amazing!! I had another artist work on me. He did great work. But?? After the last time I had work done, I texted him to let him know about a light spot. He wont respond! Yes Im irritated with him. When you spend the kind of money I spent here? I expected better. I will still go back but may use different artist.

I have gotten multiple piercings there and a tattoo. The staff keep ever very sterile and they are super nice. Every time I have gone to get something done it was a great experience! I highly recommend going here for a piercing or a tattoo!

I got my bridge done there. It was a wonderful experience. They were VERY professional and very nice unlike other places I’ve been. I had got my piercing done by Arnita (I don’t think I spelt her name right but-) she did such a wonderful job with my bridge piercing and she was good at calming my nerves (I’m only 14 and I was very nervous) but I really recommend this AMAZING place!

Me and my friend came in for tattoos we both have tattoos already I enjoyed the people very kind of course Ive even came for my piercings here in the past, the tattoos we was given was terrible it was a simple symbol only line work it has a random loops on the tat that isnt suppose to be there and has so many spots that wasnt even colored in that is pretty obvious to anyone who even glances at it although ive told the artist it while i was there and for my friend his faded away quick it was my first time there because Ive heard so much about Brightmoor and I was excited but only to be disappointed.I appreciate the offer and your concern but it was a lot of money as it is...I’d rather go back to my regular tattoo artist.

I got my nose pierced today and it was 2 hours before i went, the owner he was so kind he apologized to me saying sorry for the wait I said it’s okay. It was okay that I had to wait it didn’t bother me at all. The lady that done my piercing was sweet and extremely gentle as she could be. I think her name is aenita. She has short blonde hair and very pretty. She understand that I do pass out when I get piercings and she kept asking if I was okay. And I told yeah I’m fine and she would just check on me make sure I was doin alright. I would tell anyone to come here for tattoos or piercings. Love this place now

Levi was my artist for my tattoo. I will need to go back for some touch ups on my rose and on the sister but he was an awesome guy and alot of fun. He would talk and cut up with you and made you relax when he does his work. I will recommend Levi and Brightmoor for your tattoos

Worst tattoo shop ever. My tattoo didnt heal well at all & I have several tattoos & know how to take care of them. It got infected & lost a lot of ink. The staff was very unprofessional & never offered instructions on how to properly care for the tattoo so if someone didnt know how to care for it I guess they are just screwed. Worst tattoo shop period do not go here for a tattoo if you want a tattoo go to Raining Ink they are by far the best tattoo shop in Columbia. My tattoo has to be redone & it will be redone by Chad Dingler he is the best.

My wife an I came from West Virginia and got a couples tattoo they were small tattoos but the artist Cody treated it as it was a expenaive tattoo and did very good work and was really thorough and very professional and. they had great pricing recommend this tattoo shop to anyone

I got my triple lobe piercing and second cartilage done here. It was much much cheaper than the other places i’ve been ($60 for all 3) and Paige did a great job getting the placement right.

Mikey tattooed me. reasonable price and good quality. He is really good at line work and patterns. He is doing my next tattoo too.

Came in with my wife to get a tattoo on our arm as soon as we got there we were helped and taken care of immediately. The owner did my wifes tattoo and Rony did mine very satisfied with brightmoore! Had a good time while getting my tattoo also. Very nice and clean shop with computers to find your choice of what ever you want! I have been to raining ink a couple times before and was going to go there till I read the reviews and seemed raining ink has gone down the wrong path the past couple years. Brightmoore is amazing I will definately be back!!

I went here a while back to get my nose pierced and everything went smoothly, the lady who did my piercing did very well and you could tell the place was kept in good shape, everything was clean and professional, unfortunately my nose ring came out(my own fault) I will be going back to Brightmoor get it redone.

Myke is finishing a koi that another artist started. I was very unhappy and self conscious about it. The tattoo was done at another parlor in Knoxville. Hes not done with it yet but Im extremely happy with the way it looks and will be using him for all my future work.

I really don’t recommend this place!! they messed up my ear so bad!! They gave me the wrong rod for my ear, and it got very swollen and infected! i had to go to a different tattoo place and get it removed my ear it too and hour bc of how badly embedded into my ear!
