Absolutely lovely! Amy is very sweet, friendly, accommodating and understanding. She works hard to make every tattoo special and get all the little details perfect. Very flexible with scheduling sessions and on the spot design work! Not my first tattoo from her and definitely wont be my last!! Definitely recommend her and her other artists! I had a great experience my first time at Alchemy! Dottie was nice enough to get both my dad and I in together a few days after I sent an online inquiry. We wanted matching tattoos dedicated to my grandfather who recently passed but we had different ideas of the execution. Dottie was super helpful and collaborative to design two unique styles that matched us individually.While my dad settled on the metallic look he knew he wanted, I personally was unsure whether to use a similar color palette as my other piece on my shoulder or go a different direction. Dottie was great in talking out our options and eventually I settled on a similar color palette as I plan on building onto the two pieces into a quarter or half sleeve. As a nice touch, Dottie offered to put on my favorite album which was the inspiration for my 1st tattoo during the session. I cannot say enough how happy we are with how they turned out and I will definitely be back for all future tattoos!!!

I couldn’t be any happier with my tattoo and the whole experience. The studio is so cute and comfortable. Dottie was so kind and welcoming. She took a reference picture I sent and made it 100x better. The design she made is beautiful and I am still in awe of it. Overall 10/10 experience, will definitely be back!

I got my first ever tattoo done here by Percy. They were fantastic to work with start to finish. Percy custom designed my tattoo and I feel like they really took the time to learn what I was looking for and then turned it into a design that was better than I could have hoped. They did such a great job of explaining the process and making me feel comfortable. The finished product is gorgeous. Many friends who have seen it comment that it makes them want to take the plunge and finally get a tattoo of their own.The Gallery as a whole has such a cool beautiful vibe. There is cool use of color and art everywhere. Even their bathroom (which has always been immaculately clean) is gorgeous. Each artist has a studio in their own room that they decorate to their taste. Percys has so much to see. Which really helped as the session went on.I cannot recommend this place enough.

Best experience, with Dottie! Keep in mind, she tattooed my knee. So she had to be really great to balance that out. She custom designed a tattoo for me, after a consultation. Where she asked probing questions to really dial in what I wanted. She sized it perfectly, to nestle between existing tattoos. I enjoyed my time with Dottie. She asked about my comfort (more than once), offered me a pillow, offered different music styles, made it known anything I needed could be available. She also had me laughing, again, during a knee tattoo! 10/10 would let her tattoo me again! If you want a tattooer who cares & is truly an artist, hit up my girl Dottie! I’ll be back! 😘

I have nothing but great things to say about Alchemy Tattoo & Gallery. I had an appointment for my first tattoo with Amy Porter at Alchemy, and it was a phenomenal experience from booking to completion. I was communicated with about design, price, time, after-care, and amenities regularly and felt very informed about the process. I also LOVED the design Amy came up with and I am so happy with how it turned out. The colors are beautiful, and the lines are so crisp and clean. She was very communicative during the process of tattooing and checked-in regularly to make sure I was comfortable. The studio itself is beautiful and has everything you need to have a great experience (food, drinks, bathroom, rest areas). Afterwards, I received care instructions and care materials to help me take care of my tattoo once I left. Her hourly rate is more than fair, and payment was simple. I cannot recommend this place enough, and I will definitely be going back for more tattoos from Alchemy! Thanks to everyone who made my day awesome!

My first time going here was yesterday. This is my first colored tattoo, but not the first. Amy was amazing! The artwork she did for her own style for my tattoo makes me love it even more. This tattoo already has a meaning but her take on it a d how great it came out is fantastic. I will say too they offer beverages a d snacks, great conversations with her and the other artists. For my next tattoo I already told her and my wife Im coming back. AMAZING PLACE!

Amy is SUCH an incredible artist and always brings my ideas to life is the most beautiful ways! She has a unique way of combining what I’m looking for with her own creativity to create pieces I adore. I’ve had her work on a number of pieces including a cover up and an in progress sleeve. She also does a great job of listening and checking in, making sure I have breaks when I need them and has snacks and drinks on offer if needed. I can’t imagine going anywhere else!

I drove an hour and a half from Wisconsin to get this beautiful piece by Paige yesterday. It is way prettier than I couldve imagined. It was my first color piece and also my longest session at 4 hours. She let me take as many breaks as I needed. I had asked last minute (sorry again) if we could add a half inch by half inch tattoo on each of my wrists in honor of my late mother and she was able to do it, which I am so grateful for. Id only gone to one shop for my other tattoos and didnt have good experiences so I had a great time here. Paige was very knowledgeable and kind and eased any concerns I had.I also got some really cool art in the art gallery section. I will definitely be back. Thank you again for this amazing tattoo!

Amy is one of the most incredible tattoo artists I have ever worked with. Her use of color is both beautiful and her technique means it doesnt fade or discolor with proper care. I drove 2 hours to see Percy. They did such an amazing job and I love my tattoo. They made me feel super relaxed and comfortable (I can be kinda awkward). I loved their design and the vibe of the studio and I definely will be back hopefully in the future.

I had the best tattoo experience Ive ever had at Alchemy. The artist I worked with was Paige. She designed the most beautiful tribute to my departed dog, Murphy. We collaborated on a few elements that the tattoo would contain, but the design she created was completely hers and completely original. It made me tear up to see her initial design. Even though Paige never met my dog, but she perfectly captured his essence.On top of the amazing and talented artists at alchemy, their shop feels like a cross between a spa and a museum. They have amazing decor, and its fun to just wander around and look at stuff.

Percy did my tattoo and I am in love! They brought what I wanted to life and executed it beautifully. I am so excited to have this be a part of me now. I was really nervous going in, because it was my first tattoo but they made me feel comfortable with the entire process. They were great to talk to and they were understanding when I would get quiet sometimes because of the pain (haha). The shop has snacks and drinks, and beautiful art for sale. The ambience is very comforting and homey. I will definitely go back to work with Percy again!

Beautiful tattoo space. Definitely more of a gallery type setting than just your typical tattoo joint. As gorgeous as the space is, it didnt compare to the experience of getting tattooed by Paige. Her attention to detail and consideration for keeping true to the design were impeccable. Still somehow made it go far and beyond what I expected. Gorgeous tattoo. Paige was cool to hang out with for a few hours and the time flew by. Couldnt possibly recommend this studio more

I just had my first tattoo appointment with Amy and it was everything I hoped for. Amy was very nice and personable. Her studio is nice and very clean. She offered drinks and snacks. We talked about anime the whole time! My tattoo looks amazing! I’ve already scheduled more appointments to continue my sleeve.

Just got tattooed by Amy yesterday and I’m so happy! It took me an hour to get there but 100% worth the journey. First of all the studio is absolutely beautiful, you can tell how much thought went into every detail including the cute pink tattoo supplies she uses. She was so nice and welcoming and we chatted basically the whole 6 hours making the time go by super fast.My tattoo came out so incredible I can’t wait to come back for more in the future!! It was also a rework which is very hard to find an artist willing to do that and she did it soooo well.And bonus I love to support women owned businesses!

This shop is truly top-tier and the team is phenomenal!! They have perfectly curated a beautiful, warm, inviting, and safe environment. I have worked with Paige Hudon on several projects now and followed her here from a previous shop. I cannot say enough about her!! She is a real blessing and so great to work with! She’s an absolute genius with her work and is just overall a wonderful human! I’ve worked with her on both custom designs as well as two of her original pieces she curated. She makes the process such a breeze but is always sure to make sure you love the piece and it’s perfect. She also is so amazing at making sure your comfortable throughout the tattooing process, whether she has her killer tunes on in the background or even a show, she really does think of every little thing to make her clients feel VIP. I couldn’t be happier with having her as my artist! 💕

Amy created a beautiful tattoo that tied in elements and colors from some of my previously existing work to make a unifying piece on my hip. I absolutely love how it turned out! She was wonderful to work with and was very personable, our conversations were great during the five hours I spent in the chair, and she also offered some yummy Japanese sweets to keep our energy up. As a plus, the studio and gallery itself is gorgeous and I love all the different themed rooms and artwork. If youre looking for an inclusive and friendly woman-owned studio to get some work done youve found the right place!

I found this place from a post on Facebook. I havent had a tattoo in 11 years. I decided to get a tattoo for my daughter and booked with Jessie and Im so glad I did. She is extremely talented, very friendly and professional. She worked with me on the design and took the time to make it perfect. The shop is extremely welcoming and clean. I had a great experience here and will be coming back.

I loved my experience with Amy. Getting a first tattoo can be daunting. My experience at our design consult and the sitting was excellent. Amys attention to what I said and her creativity made the design just perfect. The day of the sitting went perfectly. The studio is so comfortable and inspiring. It was easy to relax and enjoy the session.

Really great work and safe place for females to get inked. The artist vibe is very strong here. Percy is a sweetheart with customers. I would tell anyone to check this place out for a first time tattoo as its smooth and stress free if you are a little scared. Each artist has their own personal style to meet what you might be looking for from photo realistic, manga, detailed designs, gothic fantasy, and anything else your mind can come up with.

I have several tattoos all done by different artists, until now. Amy tattooed an arm piece on me that she designed using my ideas and I am in love! Best tattoo I have gotten by far. Little pain, healed perfectly and was exactly what I wanted. Her shop is extremely clean and hygienic and she uses the newest technology. I will not be going anywhere else for my future tattoos!

Contacted Paige about a pet portrait for my dog that had recently passed. It turned out so beautiful and looks just like my Bella, not just some generic dog. She looks like a queen and Paige took my ideas and went beyond what I could have imagined. The studio is also so comfortable, welcoming, and safe. We watched Netflix during my session and I got to monch on candy that they supplied! Truly, a dream place. Cant wait to be back there.

I had a tattoo done by HyeSook here, and it turned out so cute! They were so patient and kind and I felt safe getting tattooed by them. The space is cozy and welcoming, and booking process was easy.

She’s a fabulous artist; originally she came from thin line gallery and just moved to her own little cubical. i find it super nice and very welcoming. i am getting a sleeve done, everything is reasonably priced for exactly what i wanted for my tattoo. she’s a fairly fast tattooist and gets into your tattoo design. she’s very thoughtful and does have back ups snacks and water. she also does have saniderm for your tattoo and give just a little extra so in case you just missed that corner tricky spot it still gets covered. i personally love her animated characters and semi-realistic style.

This studio is beyond stunning and clean. Paige is an amazing artist who will make you feel at home with no judgment and listen to your ideas. Will 100% recommend her and her work!!

I really don’t know how to feel about this and I’m kinda embarrassed to even talk about. I scheduled the appointment with Amy in January for a tattoo I got on February 2, 2021. Prior to getting the tattoo I felt uneasy like she might mess my tattoo up or cancel on me.I felt this way because when I was texting her concerning my tattoo she was unresponsive. The day of the tattoo I’m excited and nervous because as I mentioned she wasn’t seeing interested in doing my tattoo. I brought my fiancé with me so Amy can be more comfortable because as I discussed the tattoo is on my thigh, she was fine with that.As I’m getting my tattoo done she said she was excited and kept thanking me for this opportunity. She kept telling me I’m good client and that I wasn’t moving. So I’m confused when I get home and see that my tattoo is not exactly what I previously sent her. I couldn’t tell because there was drawing on the tattoo that have not been clean. Once I cleaned the area that night I noticed. So I was afraid of her response so I had my lady text. Also because my lady was getting work done by her as well and changed her mind. She told my lady that she’ll give her back the deposit and 60% plus touch it up.She later text me and told me no she doesn’t want to do my touch up and here’s your money back. I felt worthless as a human. I didn’t know if it was because I was a man or black but I felt very embarrassed and not myself after that situation.Now I’m stuck with an unfinished piece and destroyed mentality.

Amy is awesome. She was able to create a tattoo for me from pictures of my puppy. It’s my most personal tattoo and it turned out amazing.
