I almost never write reviews but I needed to let the world know how amazing Violet at High Preistess is. I would give 6 stars if they let me do that!One of the first things I want to mention is how safe I felt being there. Im BIPOC and trans and didnt once feel unsafe or disrespected by anyone working there. This is a great place for queer people to go, they are kind and inclusive to people woth marginalized.I came into High Preistess about 2 months ago to get 4 piercings; angel fangs, a conch piercing and a tragus piercing. I had never been to this studio before but have been to many other studios for body mods and upon entering the first thing I noticed was how beautiful and clean the shop is. The person who was working the front desk was very kind and showed me my jewlery options and then I waited for Violet to call me back.Violet was giving a child their first ear piercings right before me and it took just a bit longer for her to call me back, which was more than fine by me. It showed me that she was willing to take her time, be gentle and paitent with kiddos, and make sure her clients are comfortable and feel good about the process. Anyone who treats kids with that level of kindness and respect has immediately won me over.When I got called back Violet walked me through the process and answered all my questions, which I had a lot of because I was very anxious about the possibility of my angel fangs rejecting. (Which if they ever do it wont be her fault, she pierced them very deep and properly.)We talked about placement of my conch and tragus piercings, I already had 2 conch piercings and a tragus piercing on that ear so she needed to make sure everything would fit together nicely. I wanted a slightly different placement for my conch and tragus, but Violet explained to me why the placement I wanted was less than ideal and I personally would always rather have a piercer do a piercing in a way where it will heal well and work best with my anatomy rather than give me a piercing exactly how I want it and risk it not healing well. This to me is a sign of someone who cares deeply about their craft.When maping out where my angel fangs were gonna go she took her time to draw out everything and make sure that they were placed on a deep, thick part of my lips knowing that i had some anxiety about them rejecting. I really appreciate how intentional she is with everything she does.The piercings hurt a bit, as all piercings do, but I could tell she used a gentle hand and was efficient and accurate.When I went in to get the jewlery downsized everything went great. The person at the front desk was super chill and nice and talked to me about my options for downsizing jewlery.Its been about two months and everything is healing beautifully! Violet has been avaliable to answer any questions I have during my healing journey and is very responsive when I message her.This was the best experience Ive ever had with a piercing studio and Ive been to a lot of them. They truly are the best studio ever and Violet is the best piercer Ive ever had.Please make sure to tip your piercer and make sure to also tip the person working the front! You are paying for art and artists deserve to be tipped well!Thank you Violet and thank you High Preistess!!! I can not sing your praises enough!

Awesome experience, as always. I walked in and was back getting pierced within 20 minutes. My piercer was friendly, professional and informative. The whole process was quick, easy and hassle free. I especially liked the QR code consent form process. I only get pierced at High Priestess!

What a great experience!! All the staff were so genuinely friendly and knowledgeable. Liam at the front desk was kind and professional while also so so hilarious. Josh pierced my nostrils and did a stupendous job making sure they were even while also listening and adjusting based on what looked right to me. Everything was sterilized properly and very clean.

I got my nose pierced for the first time. I am so petrified of needles. I have had many people tell me that getting my nose pierced, it would feel like a pinch! They werent lying!! My piercer was Kenny Plimpton!! He was amazing. I had a good experience. The receptionist was really cool as well. Thank you both for this experience!! 🙂🙂

I came in and had Mason do my nipple piercings today! It was a whole vibe from when I walked in! Thank you.From check in, to a quick 2 minute wait if that.Mason came out super friendly and ready to get them done. It was great when we got into the room as well.He did a great job of letting me know this is my space he was here to get them taken care of.It was really reassuring. Huge thank you.We made great small talk and were done in15 minutes. He even gave me a capri sun for my blood sugar levels since we did two back to back.Over all I super appreciate Mason and making me feel great today! Stick around in Oregon!

I walked into this place today after finally being fed up with two very angry cartilage piercings. I am so glad that I did. My piercings needed a surgical grade metal as well as a flat back so they can eventually be nursed back to full health. The woman at the front was very helpful and patient in my endeavors to find an adorable pair that fit within my overall service price range. I wish I could remember the name of the man who switched the earrings out for me but he was also insanely kind and put my mind at ease as I was actually very nervous due to how tender my ears were!! Will definitely return in the future to have jewelry switched out. Thanks guys!

My experience was top notch with the front desk and my piercer Josh. He was very professional and explained everything he was doing and what to expect when I got pierced and the after care of my piercing. I went in for a cheek dermal, so he first marked to see if that’s where I wanted it and I said yes, then got my daughters opinion and my best friends opinion. They both as well as me agreed on the spot. He asked me if I was allergic to iodine as that’s what he used to clean my cheek and I said no, so he cleaned it very thoroughly. He then had me lay down, turn my head to the left a little bit and told me to take in a deep breath and on the blow out is when he pierced me. Then he told me he was going to put on the jewelry. He asked me how I was and I was fine, so he sat me up and got some gauze and held pressure on it for a bit because I bled a little, then he put a band aid on it. He had me get off the table to look at it. I was super pleased with the outcome and to be honest, it didn’t even hurt, he did a wonderful job. I got it pierced on a Friday and on Sunday I texted them with questions and someone responded very quickly to answer my questions. I was super happy at how clean the shop was.If I could give them 20 stars I would.I highly recommend if you want to get pierced you call to make an appointment and ask for Josh to do it as when he pierced me, it didn’t even hurt. I didn’t even flinch. Josh is at the W. 6th location in Eugene, Oregon.Thank you Josh and the gal at the front desk for being so professional and know what great customer service is all about.Edit: 4 weeks later I went back in and had Josh look at it to make sure it’s healing properly. He said all looks good.Thank you again to the staff. Nice clean and welcoming shop! I’ll definitely be back for my next piercing.

I came in to get a new septum ring and impulsively decided to go ahead with double nostril piercings. They were super accommodating and friendly! Violet was awesome and did a phenomenal job with the jewelry change and piercings. I absolutely love the way everything looks and they seemed to really care that I was happy with everything before leaving. I’ll totally be back.

Josh was amazing! My daughter got her belly button pierced today with Josh. He included her the entire time, informative polite funny. Definitely coming back for the other piercings they may want!

Amazing! This place is very professional and clean. They had tons of jewelry options and so many colors. Their pricing is a bit expensive though, my belly button was about $150 including their cleaning spray. Totally worth it though to get high quality jewelry and a job well done on the piercing! Everyone working was very sweet. My piercer, Kenny was awesome and walked us through the whole piercing process.

I had deleted my review out of embarrassment, but was encouraged by a friend to post it again. My initial review was met with an essay from the owner accusing me of lying in my review and intentionally ignoring policy. If you are reading this while scrolling through reviews you likely see similar on most negative reviews. I do not mind leaving an equally long review to balance out the businesses incoming lengthy reply.High Priestess is reputable and clean, one of the two main shops in Eugene trusted by the local body piercing community. This does not mean they are above providing a bad experience or promoting elitism. It highly depends who is on staff when you walk in the door. For example, Kenny is incredibly skilled and knowledgeable and they did almost all of my piercings. If I could go to Kenny without setting foot in High Priestess I would.Over the years I have had hit or miss experiences with High Priestess including a septum piercing (for one pierced wrong by High Priestess staff in the mid 2015s, had constant issues with denting) stretched from 16g to 14g with a clicker ring by force without me being informed that it would stretch my nose. This was of course very painful. For the record, Kenny redid my septum in 2021 and I was able to stretch my nose past 6g with no denting or pain on my own. When I said in my original review that my experience was very hit or miss this is what I referred to.All of this to preface my most recent experience and the reason I will be sticking to Area 51 on Willamette.I have previously had jewelry from outside the shop installed at High Priestess, (they literally put in some Hot Topic bs for me in high school) I understand that policy has changed (and gotten stricter since my experience) but it does not change that my experience was handled unprofessionally.I brought in jewelry that was purchased offline but that I could vouch for the quality of. It is the same thing I have worn in other piercings for years with no issue. I know they cannot guarantee the quality and did not argue that point when told they could not put it in. I was told they could take my existing piece out and I could put in my new one myself. I was under the impression that since I had expressed some hesitation with this being a newer cartilage piercing (just under a year old) in a harder to reach spot, that I would be getting the help I had come in for.The jeweler showed me how she was taking out the old ring, then took my new jewelry out of the package and showed me how to open it (this action felt very demeaning when I was literally already wearing a matching piece and clearly know how a clicker ring works, but I digress).I took this to mean it was my turn, picked up the jewelry, and was promptly reprimanded for even thinking I could touch outside jewelry while within High Priestess walls. I was confused and concerned about leaving with my piercing open as I know my body and my piercings tend to close fast especially when new. Ive had a conch for nearly 6 years and it still likes to close over on the back when Im changing jewelry. I was ushered out the door and told the piercer knew better.I went outside and immediately tried to get some form of jewelry in my piercing, it wasnt cheap to get done and I love it a lot. I dont want it closing on me. My ear immediately began to bleed and I knew it was likely starting to close again. I went back inside to get my old jewelry that had been removed from my girlfriend who was waiting for her own service, and was again reprimanded/yelled at for touching my dirty jewelry in their shop. At this point I did not know what to do, I was bleeding and scared and humiliated. The piercer did install my old jewelry back in (with obvious displeasure and disgust) and I immediately left to cry outside.I want to note that at NO POINT during my visit did either staff member offer alternatives or even try to sell me in house jewelry. I was given no options other than figure it out yourself I know more than you.

Did a walk in, and Felix got me right in he was awesome to work with. We had conversation the whole time. He did exactly what i wanted.Thanks Felix. I recommend him 100%

Poor customer service and even worse follow through with complaints. Can’t properly take criticism when they’ve been extremely disrespectful. They are willing to lie to defend themselves. Not a good place for beginners, new piercings, etc. Not a good place to go to.

The piercer was super nice and professional when piercing my daughter and niece. Niece was scared, and he went at a pace that worked for her, even confirming that she actually wanted him to continue.

This is place I would totally come back again and again. People that work here are awesome. I needed to exchange my nose piercings and I google it. I found that it’s was rated hire then others. When I arrived - I found fantastic gal on register she helped me with pik up the jewelry. I wanted few minutes and was escorted to piercings room.Everything was super clean and nice. I can totally say they care for their location!Loved it.They have parking lot on side of building.

Nice clean shop, we were there to get the wife new jewelry for her piercing. Staff was knowledgeable and polite. The place was pretty busy, Id make an appointment if you really want some work done and not just walk in.

Needed one new barbell for a piercing that I wanted to take home and install myself. Receptionist with red and black hair tried charging me $60 for my one jewelry piece I wanted, $50 for jewelry and $10 for installation. $60 for a single barbell!Jewelry and installation should not cost more than the original piercing did itself to begin with. I was more than surprised hearing the cost. When I explained I would be installing it myself and wanted to show them the jewelry to make sure the size would be correct I was then told it was a biohazard to show my jewelry in store. I did not ask them to handle my jewelry, I was going to show them in own my hand to make sure the replacement was correct and even then that was a biohazard according to this employee.You should not be working with piercings or tattoos if you cannot handle biohazards to begin with, that is your job. Tattoos and piercings are a biohazard, a professional shop should know how to handle that and not freak out. I’ve been in many of tattoo and piercing shops for replacement jewelry and never had this been an issue it was mind blowing. I decided to take my business to a more professional shop in town since they clearly do not know how to handle their own job.

Trevor and Alexandra were so kind. Trevor did a great job being distracting and encouraging during the piercing process. There was some confusion around what piercings and earrings I wanted for each ear, and when one that I wanted ended up being out of stock they gave me a 15% discount. It was busy while I was checking out and I didn’t pay close enough attention to the total. I sent an email asking for an itemized receipt and the receptionist called back a few hours later to apologize that she charged for the piece that ended up being out of stock. I was able to go back for a refund on it and felt so happy with the service that I ended up tipping much higher than I originally had because I appreciated the honesty. She made sure I got a new itemized receipt and gave me a card for a free piercing. It wasn’t as smooth as an interaction as I would have liked, but all was well in the end!

Got a tattoo by violet at the tattoo expo in eugene, she is so sweet and thorough. she did and amazing job!!

Josh Bryant Pierced my nipples and they are absolutely perfect. Was the most quick and easy piercing process I have ever experienced. He made me feel so comfortable and his years of experience really showed. I would say these piercings hurt less than my septum!! Just 48 hours later, I only feel slight uncomfort, as expected. They look great and are perfectly even, would highly recommend. Also the atmosphere was great, costumer service too.

Wonderful service! I got my 7y/o daughters ears done and the piercer was so patient with her. He even got her some juice to calm her down! And I have personally gotten pierced there as well and they are always great!

I took my daughter to the downtown Eugene location to have her ears pierced for the first time. Kenny pierced her ears and was amazing with her! I appreciated how he didn’t talk to her like she was a kid, but talked to her in a fun way and made jokes to make her comfortable. He let her ask all the questions she wanted and let her check everything out as he was setting up. He was very good with her but also he did an amazing job on her piercings and made sure everything was as even as possible. The lady who helped us check in and check out was also very friendly and patient as she picked out her earrings. Nothing but amazing things to say about this place for my daughters first experience getting her ears pierced. Thank you!!

This was my first time getting a piercing with HP and I had a great experience. One thing I will say is from now on, I will make an appointment because I was a walk in and it was a long wait, almost 2 hours, not that that was their fault, its just something to keep in mind. My piercer , Carlos, ( I hope thats his name I dont have the best memory 😅) was amazing and he caught my crooked septum before piercing it, which I didnt even know about, and was able to pierce it straight .

I had my conch and helix pierced here a few weeks ago. Everyone is very friendly and happy to answer any questions. I just went back today to get them downsized and I had another great visit. My husband got his septum pierced today too and they did an awesome job. We live in Bend, but it is worth the 5 hour drive round trip because I know my piercings will be done correctly.

I got pierced at a different local place and was having issues with my septum piercing. The lady working at the front today was very helpful and the piercer ended up fixing my issue for basically just the cost of a new ball for my piercing. The experience totally made my day. They are awesome!

Walked in with no appointment to change out eyebrow piercing (time to downsize) and asked about getting a small tattoo. Didn’t feel a thing when he changed out piercing! My tat is exactly what I wanted…Violet was awesome! She saw what I had in mind and made it real! Didn’t hurt at all!Thanks!!!!!

My daughter has been going here since she was 13. Very professional, very clean and everyone I have dealt with there is knowledgeable and pleasant.

Please don’t get your nipples pierced here.They botched mine so badly. They used a gage too big. They also pierced my areolas rather than my nipples. ALSO the piercings were crooked. One was too high and the other was completely below my nipple.It took over a year for them to heal enough for me to feel comfortable taking them out. They were so swollen and painful no matter in how much I took care of them. Also the piercing itself hurt like hell.I will have scars on my areolas for the rest of my life because of their mistake.

I cannot express enough how this is the best piercing experience I’ve had in my life. This was the third time I got my nipples pierced. First time at high priestess piercing. Now I’ll never go anywhere else. Samantha did an amazing job, she’s a perfectionist and incredibly professional. Even with all the scar tissue I had from the previous times I’ve had them pierced it was the least amount of pain I’ve experienced. Even walking in all the staff was friendly and knowledgeable. Went in with my sister who had an appointment, and I decided to do a walk in nose piercing last minute. The staff was great and very accommodating! They talked us through the process and answered our questions thoughtfully. Clean facility, kind staff, cute jewelry, definitely recommend!

I am over the moon with how my piece came out, its better than I had hoped for! I considered giving only four stars because my artist, Splat Ter, was an hour late for our appointment, but results this perfect Id have waited another hour. Also he was very quick, I think this whole thing only took half an hour or so? And he didnt make a single mistake. I am very impressed with his work and Im so happy with how it turned out!!!

Helpful even at their busiest! I tried another piercing location to find a specific piece of jewelry and they basically told me to leave. When I came to HP they looked up items til we found it! Great customer service!

Their piercers are great/knowledgeable and their shop is very clean and tidy! I just don’t like how I spent $210 on JUST jewelry for there to be little to no other selection other than that, I’m very disappointed in my new studs, I don’t like them at all and feel like it wasn’t worth the price at all. I’ll definitely be just getting my jewelry from elsewhere now. It’s sad cuz I got studs from there before and they were only $100 with gems so I hope they’re able to get other selections back. But I like the staff and the facility!

Got my nose pierced here a couple years ago and had an amazing time, all staff were super friendly and overall just very pleasant to talk to. I’m actually going in here in a couple days to get the same spot re-pierced and I’m beyond excited! :)

I have been there twice now. They helped me switch out a hoop for a bar on my eyebrow ring. They also helped with my earrings. Those tiny backs are hard to get on sometimes. I went in today for a nose piercing. It was a comfortable and friendly environment! We talked. She explained what she was going to be doing. We laughed, I cried, and it was over! Thank you so much! I do love my nose ring! For my next one....

Liam at the front desk was so helpful and patient with my many questions. I thought this location was very professional and kind. Kenny saved my first ear piercings painlessly (they had unexpectedly shrunk) and got a second set of piercings in. It made such a difference to have his expertise and help. I highly recommend this shop, and Kenny, to anyone considering more piercings.

Besides having worked there, I was also pierced and tattooed by them dozens of times. My piercings always healed well and they were always available to help with any complications me or any of my friends had. They took good care of me, I would reccomend them to anyone.

My daughter got an amazing vertical labret. I got my nose jewelry changed. The atmosphere is amazing. The store design and layout are creative. The wait time was very short. It may have to be my #10s. Tenth tattoo and tenth ear piercing. 😆

I have gotten all of my piercings here since i was in high school! i had my septum done today and it was the most nervous i’ve been about a piercing.😂 kenny was amazing and it went so fast and painless! he got me hooked up with jewelry exactly what i wanted. their business is always very clean and the staff is so friendly. this is the only place in the area i will go to to get pierced. highly recommend.🖤

I wish I could give H.P. a ten star instead of five. The people that work there are always so nice and professional and they stand behind their jewelry. I had issues with a piece of jewelry and they asked me to come in. They replaced it and put in a larger piece since the one I had was too small and didn’t charge me for it. I don’t see me going anywhere else since they have always did a fabulous job every time from piercings to tattoos. Thank you guys.

This shop was extremely professional and sanitary! I was pierced by Josh Bryant and he went over through the entire process and after care before the piercing and made sure everything was lined up and ready. They have a wonderful selection of jewelry for every piercing and the desk person was very helpful and sweet! A amazing experience overall :)

I cannot recommend Kenny enough for piercings. They are experienced and professional, and helped me with a downsize and with picking the perfect location for my new flat piercing. I came in with three friends and Kenny also pierced a friend’s nostril and another friend’s ear lobes. We’re all thrilled with our new piercings and the experience. I know what to expect for healing/aftercare too!

Went to HP campus location to get a piercing in May. The piercer didn’t seem to have much experience and it was slow and painful. Followed maintenance instructions was painful and it wasn’t healing. Went back 2 months later to get them to look at it. Piercer was egotistical and not customer friendly. They put in a shorter post. It got more irritated and but not infected so I pulled it out. Four months later it still hasn’t healed and continues to scab and flake.

Big thank you to Kenny for piercing my nostril! It wasnt an easy feat as it had to be matched up to my other nostril piercing. Two other piercers (not at High Priestess) have tried but each time it was just slightly uneven and I had to remove the piercing. It doesnt help that my nose is slightly crooked. Kenny took a lot of extra time to make sure the piercing was done right. Im very happy with it! He was also excellent at explaining every step so that there were no surprises. The shop itself is beautiful and spacious. Their jewelry selection was good but I would have liked to see more septum pieces. I brought in jewelry from an outside shop (Adorn in Portland) and they were willing to pierce with it, but I dont think this is normally the case. Ill definitely be back soon!

I’ve been going here since I can remember! The only place I will go to get any piercings, and the only place I recommend to anyone who wants a clean professional friendly environment. Sometimes I go in not knowing where or what I want and they give me the rundown of what I can get with what jewelry and take the time to explore options with me no matter how busy they are. Both locations are amazing. Just all around a good business to support.

Took my daughter in for a pre-scheduled appointment to save time. We got there 5min early and still had to wait 1hr 40min. I dont mind the wait, but dont be short and put out when I ask about time frame to be seen. Peircer was professional and cool, my issue was with how I was treated by the young guy with wings tattooed base of his skull. I get youre busy and I was respectful and expect the same treatment in return.

Great place to get a piercing. The whole staff is super friendly and makes you feel welcome. The person who did my piercing was super calmed and made sure I was comfortable before doing anything. My septum piercing has healed very nicely, and I have had no issues with it, and even the pain hasnt been that bad.

I was having a hard time getting an earring in one of my lobes. They listened and offered quality and well informed options for me. They were upfront on prices and could get me in within an hour. When I got there everything was clean and sanitized. They had me fill out waivers on my phone and there were comfortable couches to sit on whilst filling them out. They had me bring my own earring in and the person doing the earring placement was super friendly, knowledgeable and quick! I was in and out in less than 15 minutes. The cherry on top of the great experience was that it was only $5. I will keep them in mind for any future piercings or tattoos.

I definitely give this place a 5 star!!! I got my tragus pierced here. The experience was awesome and the workers were extremely helpful and just amazing all around! I still cant believe how sweet everyone was. Im so happy I chose this place! I highly recommend them. I saw some tattoo work as well and they too were amazing! Thinking of making that appointment soon.

We had an awesome experience at High Priestess! We took my daughter in to get her ears pierced for her 6th birthday. Ari was her piercer. He specializes in piercing children and it really shows. He explained exactly what to expect every step of the way and checked with her to make sure she was okay to continue. He made her feel comfortable with the process and made sure she could stop things at any point. It was a great experience and I would recommend it to anyone thinking of getting their child’s ears pierced.The shop is also very clean, the staff is helpful, and they have a great selection of jewelry.

Well done. Second piercing - clinician took the time to make the second piercing lined up in the same angle as the first and took particular care to assess placement with pertinent questions about changing out various styles of jewelry in the future. Care instructions were clear and the facility was clean. Both workers were personable, helpful and courteous. Great experience.

Guy was super friendly and made me feel very comfortable which was great, especially given how sensitive the area I had pierced was. The girl at the counter with the yellow hair was also super welcoming and friendly and the overall atmosphere and professionalism was greatly appreciated. 10/10 would highly recommend:)

It was really easy to book an appointment and I was able to do all the paperwork stuff online before I showed up.The person who did my piercing walked me through everything she was doing which was very comforting. I got second holes in my earlobes so it was a pretty quick and minimally painful experience. I’m very happy with the jewelry I got to pick out and the placement of them. Will definitely go back!

I had a great experience going in with my daughter for her birthday and my Christmas presents. The staff is super friendly and knowledgeable, The shop is very clean. And it cost nearly half as much as I expected for 2 piercings and pieces of quality jewelry. The piercings are healing quite nicely as well.

I had a great experience getting my left upper earlobe pierced. I can hands down say it was my best piercing from start to finish. They were very thorough in helping me pick my jewelry and gave me plenty of time to decide. The piercing process itself was quick and they got the placement drawn on in the first try. The atmosphere was also great at putting one at ease. Highly recommend!

Just took my daughter to get her first piercing and we got Kenny as our piercer and he was amazing kind and caring and most off very patient. I will definitely be back and hope to have the same experience as this one.

High Priestess is an incredible place to go if you are looking for a PROFESSIONAL piercing (I have not been here for a tattoo, but I would be willing to bet that they are great at that as well) Kenny has helped me and my wife and is amazing at what they do! I am terrible with names but I believe Josh helped me recently as well and he was also great to work with! And the lady at the counter (I didnt get her name) was very helpful with picking out jewelry. Over all, great atmosphere, clean, professional, and friendly!! Would recommend to anyone. I had a fantastic experience to be honest, I had my septum and vertical labret done by Trevor. He was a very kind presence and was very knowledgeable about anatomy and clearly is passionate about what he does. It wasn’t my first time getting pierced but was still my best experience yet. It’s only been a few days and yet its already healing incredibly and I’ve had hardly any pain and no infection issues or healing complications. I highly recommend High Priestess, it’s affordable with accommodating staff and talented artists. 🤷‍♀️ Couldn’t have asked for a better experience. Thanks guys :)

Went in today and had Kenny pierce the spot known as the Tagus in my ear. He was gentle, quick and it was painless, overall a great experience. Liam helped me choose from their large selection of jewelry in finding me the right piece. The shop itself was sterile and clean. They still require masks and provide them which was nice. I will go there again.

This was my first time going to a piercing studio and it was a great first experience. Everyone was friendly and helpful, and they do a great job making you feel at ease. Ari did a fantastic job with the piercing (just my earlobes) and was very communicative throughout the process. I am very happy with the result! If I ever want anything else done, Ill definitely be coming back.

Ari and the entire staff was wonderful to work with, very professional and easy to get on with. They walk you through the process if its your first piercing or getting a new one and do really well with nervous customers. Very wonderful aftercare and will answer any questions or concerns you have at any time. 10/10 recommend for piercings. Ive been told their tattoo staff is just as amazing as well.

The store itself is really nice and cozy, and it appeared that every client has their own little comfortable booth! I got a nose piercing, my first ever, and it was a excellent experience! It only hurt for a second, and the guy who did it was very professional, and very nice (even though I was freaking out a little bit lol) the nose stud is very high quality, and looks AMAZING! I love it so much! It took maybe 15 minutes, and I got there ten minutes early, and they took care of me right away! Highly recommend! Very professional and great service!

I used to love this shop and was confident in the piercers. It seems like all the employees I used to love are no longer with them. The last time I came in they tried to over charge me for removal of my piercings. Another time I came in the piercer put a shorter bar in my already healed piercing (over 3 years old) and extremely hurt me. When I called to come in for an emergency they told me I had to make an appointment. The front desk dude gives me stuck up vibes and didn’t believe me when I told him I’ve bought all 15+ pieces of jewelry from them. Really disappointed with this shop.

My son and I went in and had his nose pierced and my septum done today. I have to say, probably the best service I could have hoped for!!! From the gentleman that checked us in(I forgot his name 😩 Im so sorry!!!) To Kenny!!!! The bad mammajamma that did our piercings. Kenny is amazing! He made my ADHD overthrowing self so comfortable. His confidence in his art was everything. He was fun and we had great conversations!! And I absolutely love the fact that just because my son is 14 these two men treated him like just another fellow human being. They did NOT lean on mom for answers which I found to be very necessary for my son making his own choices as he needs to have that confidence. I will forever go to Kenny now!!! HP is the only place I have trusted. We traveled down from the canyon JUST to go to HP. Thank you SO so so much!!!! We LOVE our piercings!!!!

Legit just writing this review to rave about my experience with Liam today. Despite it being pretty busy when I came in (we’re talking every waiting seat full), when it was my turn to come to the stand, Liam was very attentive to my concerns and went above and beyond to help me with what I was worried was a rejecting eyebrow piercing. I came in twice within a half hour to ask for help and both times Liam told me exactly what to do and helped me more than anyone has in the past couple of weeks of reaching out to friends, the internet, and even other piercers at their 13th St location, which I had visited earlier that day. I was able to downsize my piercing myself following Liam’s careful instructions and I couldn’t be more pleased with the customer service I received, especially with how busy it was and for myself just being a walk-in.

My mom just got her earlobes pierced here after 15 years of her previous piercings closing up. We had never experienced a tattoo/piercing place before, and we enjoyed the atmosphere and the kindness that Kenny and Liam showed. We understand why it comes so recommended by other people and we look forward to our follow up visit.

Brought my daughter in yesterday to get her ears pierced. She was a little nervous/anxious but the guy that pierced her ears was really friendly and did a quick and easy job (sorry cant remember his name). The shop was really clean and the wait was not long at all!

My wife and I stopped in here to get her nose re-pierced on a Saturday. The front desk staff were super friendly, helpful, and knowledgeable. Then we met the piercer Ari. He was fantastic! Extremely gentle with an amazing bedside manner! He took the time to thoroughly explain the details of aftercare. Everyone was so great we stuck around to chat with a tattoo artist. Thats when we meet Felix. Hes very talented and has 20+ years tattooing! He drew what I was picturing in my head better than I couldve imagined, for a really reasonable price. I couldnt be more happy with my new tat!Ill definitely be back for another piece and will also be telling everyone I know to check High Priestess out, as well. Truly a wonderful experience!

Josh at the downtown Eugene location was great for ear lobe piercings, they have good pricing for quality care and quality jewelry. I have visited the Corvallis high priestess location as well and have had good experiences all around with them.

I have been pierced here multiple times and the staff are all amazing and make me feel so comfortable and taken care of. They really do such an amazing job at taking their time to make sure you like the placement and they really care about their clients. This is the only place I trust to get pierced and their jewelry is really high quality and well priced.

Ive been here twice to have new jewelry put in and both times were great experiences. The staff is super rad and incredibly helpful. Highly recommend!

This place is awesome! Everyone here is so kind and friendly. I had a bunch of issues with the jewlery piece I got for my septum, and they helped with everything without trying to add any extra fee’s. Very reasonable people with notable professionalism. Definitely would recommend to friends and family. All of the piercing staff is fantastic at what they do!

Excellent, friendly, fast service. I went in today to have an earring put back in after finally being done with MRIs and X-rays. The woman who helped me was very nice and offered to just put the earring back in for free. I left a $5 tip. I was quoted $20 at another shop. The service was great and I have already recommended them, and I will be going back soon! I have been going to High Priestess since they opened in 1993 (I was one of the first customers) and am happy to report the experience is still a very positive one.

Ari was amazing. On Friday we went to go get my almost 6 year old ears pierced. Ari made her feel so comfortable and safe. Talked to her and explained everything thing to her step by step and then told her what he was doing before he did anything. Better experience than I ever could have expected!! Excellent service. Patiently helped me pick out a new nose ring, and explained why its high quality. The piercer was relaxed and funny, making it an easy process to upgrade my piercing.

I took my 5 year old in for earlobe piercings today. I have nothing but good things to say about the experience from the moment we were greeted at the door until we left. Ari did the piercing. He was FANTASTIC, professional and kind to my daughter. He took the time to explain everything (easily understandable to a 5 y/o) and was extremely patient. It was a great first piercing experience for my daughter. 10/10 would recommend.

High Priestess has done all of my piercings and each time I have been thoroughly pleased. Never a bad experience, Ari has been my primary piercer and hes awesome. They are great about follow up, and if for some reason you have a problem, they fix it. Boom. No question. I wont go anywhere else.

I have been here many times over the years, first as a young adult getting my tongue and naval pierced, then brought my kids here to get their ears pierced, and just recently revisiting some new piercings for myself! The staff has always been so wonderful and professional, providing all the information for after care and support.

I love these guys. I had my lip pierced and went to down size after the swelling went away. 2 days later after getting the exchange there I am doing dishes when POOF! There goes the jewelry down the drain.I went back in and told the gentleman what happened and he replaced it at no charge.They dont just pop a hole in you and let you run. They take very good care after the fact.They do a fabulous job and have a great crew. Seriously, check them out!

First experience here was 5 years ago (13th st. Location) getting my daughters first love piercings. The service was great, but because there was no surgical stainless available, we were sold implant grade titanium which resulted in piercing bumps- very painful for a 6 yo. I went to Black Lotus to have them re-pierced with SS and had no problems. Fast forward 5 years- Second piercing for my daughter and a nose piercing for me. I paid extra for rose gold and diamond, which has fallen out twice in 1.5 weeks. Im here waiting (45 min) to have a cheaper ring put in because the counter person is basically shrugging his shoulders like oh well. Seems like the would be discounting the new ring or giving me the money back on the defective item- which they keep telling me shouldnt be falling out. Now- if I had even touched my nose ring once- I would feel responsible, as it is, Ive woken up twice with it missing and had to search my bed for it. Bummer- but, first world problems- ya know. Edit: waited and saw Jared, who completely fixed the situation. Im so pleased- he basically guaranteed my piercing and replaced necessary pieces without a charge. Super awesome. I would definitely go see him the first time next time.

I have had two piercings done here (earl & tounge). I was nervous getting both done but with awesome piercers you cant go wrong! Each time I come here I feel super comfortable and at ease. Every single employee has been able to answer my questions, listen to my concerns and have given me awesome knowledge and an awesome experience. My only spot to go for piercings.

(Based on my visit on 02/10/16.) The staff were knowledgable, helpful, and supportive, giving plenty of time and attention to every customer. They were very open and honest in answering questions. It was clear that informed consent to any procedure was a high priority. Jared and his apprentice took excellent care of me and made me feel so at ease. They were also wonderfully body-positive, and I feel like beyond the piercings I left High Priestess with an improved self-image. I look forward to going in for my 4-week check-up.

The person that done my Daughters Birthday Piercing was absolutely amazing. Totally walked through every single detail of what was going to happen from how she was going to clean the area to exavtly how to care for the piercing when home.The facilty was so super clean, staff was very friendly and helpful, they made my Daughter feel totally safe. Took my 9 year old to get her ears pierced today. She is pretty shy and reserved. Ari was her piercer, and he was AMAZING. Very easy going, talked to her the whole time, and even showed her some videos to make her feel better. He walked her through it and he made sure she was comfortable. Really great experience and I think most of that comes down to the piercer. Its going to hurt, of course..but it helps when someone is so thoughtful and conscious of a little kid thats scared. ♡ Thanks Ari, it really meant a lot for you to take such good care of our little Bug. She is very happy with the result!

I wanted to get a hole re-pierced that had half closed up since shortly after I got it pierced originally as a teenager.Overall, it was a good experience, and almost painless. It was pricey, though: $30 for the piercing and $40 for the stud. But I have painfully sensitive ears and the jewelry isnt bothering me at all.Update: My piercing had healed well, after actually following care instructions of using a saline spray. And Ive done some additional jewelry shopping for titanium push back studs and hoops and the price is fair.Thanks for introducing me to titanium earrings! I can wear earrings again!

Tigger is a gem and a pleasure to work with. My daughter was nervous to get her earlobe re-pierced, but Tigger found the original hole (which I thought had long been closed), inserted the jewelry without having to break any skin, and made the whole experience fun and exciting. We interacted with three different people in the shop, and they were all fantastic. We highly recommend this location!

I am often in this location to have them clean up my angry piercings and change a ball if needed. Ari is a literal piercing angel and I love seeing him everytime I come in, hes always super helpful and nice! My first experience with HP was when I was 7 and Tigger pierced my ears. All around amazing and kind staff, I will always highly recommend this HP to anyone looking to get a piercing.

These guys were awesome! I went during their fundraiser (being only $10 per piercing and to support the animals! The fundraiser is called the Sato Project.) and ended up getting three piercings in one sitting. I also brought my boyfriend and got his first piercing. They were extremely kind and answered every single question I had. I sometimes will ask piercers more questions than ever necessary. The jewelry is also definitely high grade and worth the price. Especially, because they have warranties on some and will always change your piercings for free. I recommend going here, or even the college High Priestess. Theyre both amazing and have amazing people!

Clean, courteous, and employees are friendly. Piercings Ive gotten from High Priestess have been exactly how Ive wanted them, and its easy to talk to them about options or ideas. Ive gone with a friend who was squeamish about getting piercings done and the piercer had a great bedside manner and was able to calm her down for it.I would say that jewelry and piercings are expensive, but you dont want to shop cheap when getting these things. Dont plug open wounds with garbage, and dont let just anybody with a needle give you a wound. I feel confident and safe with High Priestess.

The best spot in town to get pierced. I have been going to Tigger for 10 years and they are the only person I would go to. All the staff are knowledgeable and will help you answer any and all questions and provide great advice. Amazing work every time!

I’m not sure who helped me but when they read this they’ll know. I recently had a downsized nostril piercing put in at another piercing place and it was way too small and cutting into my skin. It was driving me bonkers and was starting to get irritated and painful. I saw that high priestess closed at 9 so I rushed as quick as I could and got there 15 mins before close and I couldn’t make an appointment online. The dude sold me a different sized jewelry and was super understanding even though I was “that” customer who came in 15 mins before close a hot mess hahaha thank you high priestess!!!!! My nose feels better already.

Everytime I want to size up my guages, I go here. The staff are always super friendly and knowledgeable. Theyre also gentle, and Ive never had any trouble afterwards. If youre looking to get a piercing, I highly recommend high priestess.

My daughter Catlyn decided for her 5th birthday this year she wanted her ears pierced because she is a big girl. We went in tonight and they were a little busy but everyone was super nice and polite. Ari handled things amazing. He made it clear that Catlyn could back out at any time. He walked her through the process and made her feel comfortable. He was fantastic at building rapport and my daughter thought he was the coolest. His way with children was superb. After the first earring he let her take a break and have some juice, and when she was ready did the other ear. I couldn’t recommend Ari enough, we will be sure to go back

I got my left nostril pierced by Ari, he talked me through the whole thing and made a very comfortable atmosphere, the piercing itself was a very quick pinch and was over super fast , definitely would recommend and probably will be going back for more piercings.

I had a jewelry malfunction while traveling to my sisters wedding from St. Louis, MO. The counter staff member and piercer were ridiculously friendly and helpful. They got me all situated in less than 10 minutes. Hopefully Ill have a chance to return someday, if not again this visit!

It was a little busy because it was a Saturday however did not have to wait very long for piercing. Very friendly staff. Good vibe. Prices are on par with other shops. Do wish that had a bigger selection of unique jewelry options.

I had my lip pierced at high priestess in Eugene like 6 years ago and every once n awhile the little metal ball will fall out and I lose it and have to go get another one when it first happened and I went back a replacement was only a buck ($1) and now its like 8 bucks ($8) for a tiny little metal ball? Uhh no.. and for another a peace of jewelry slightly different from mine is $45 ?!?? Wow hard pass. Way ever priced staff isnt too friendly seem indifferent to things.

We got there early before opening & Jo & Josh were super chill about it, (even reminded my daughter that the mural is a Pokemon stop) then same awesome vibe continued inside where Jared did her nose piercing. I love the shop, love the people and would highly recommend them to anyone.

Piercer was clean, professional, and provided all information on aftercare and beyond. Highly recommend.

Friendly nice selection not terrible piercings . Not sure what to think about how the piercing turn out. I mean they look decent but not what I expected. I tell them what I want they say ok and pierce away but it never ends up how I told them I wanted it. Not sure if they just wont tell me my idea wont work or theyre not seeing my vision but want the business so they say ok and beat around the Bush later when u have questions or maybe they jst dont know enough about piercings and placement to tell u in advance that it may not end up that way when healed

This Place is very welcoming, knowledgeable and Clean. My piercer Jared Hit off Talked about, Fried Chicken, watermelon the whole Nine... He is very cultured with a great out look on life! He did my Dermals for the 1st time he did a exceptional job keeping me calm and informed all at the same time.. this is the only place I get pierced tongue twice, Monroe twice, dermal twice... will return Asap! When my finances Permit me to :)oh and Kid friendly, let my kiddo hang out with me during piercing!Thank you Jared, keep up the nice work!Nitiya

As someone who loves the environment of tattoo and piercing parlors I was severely disappointed. The staff was incredibly rude and had unacceptable attitudes for me being 2 minutes late. I suggest management has its employees take a costumer service course. God bless.

Poor timing; two appointments behind when I went to get my piercing and while I was fine waiting, the man who answered the door was very rude. Do not recommend at all. I usually go to the campus location because they’re always great. Will never come back to this location.

They helped me with my 3 year old’s earring that fell out. They were so good at keeping her calm and making it a great experience.

I never write reviews but i had to for this place. first of all, i was looking around for a tattoo artist at multiple different places and i had to take my business here from now on once i saw the welcoming inside and met the people here. when i walked in, i was immediately greeted and every person i countered after i walked in was friendly and had a smile. a sense of loving their job. the space was welcoming, very open. i was able to look at all the artist book with ease. Felix came up to me to inquire about my piece. set up an appointment and sent him my future tattoo. okay. great experience with the tattoo artist. and ill write another review once i get a chance to have his artwork on my body as well. as a kind of last minute/ kinda thought out idea... i got my tounge pierced. the only reason i did was because of how inviting the environment was. and im so glad i did. Ari did my piercing and he is the most professional, friendly, quick piercer ive ever met. and this is with about 15 piercings my self. he was done with my tounge before i knew it. it is straight and he didnt have to use clamps... i was so happy about it that i walked out without my clean up kit for my piercing. but the front desk (also such a friendly soul) came out and gave it too me while catching my taking pictures of my new amazing piercing. thank you so much high priestess, you are my new destination for all things body modification and hopefully ill enjoy felixs work so much that ill have a new permanent artist.

I love going in here!! Im always blown away by how nice everyone is. I went in for some tapers to stretch my ears to the next size and found out they will stretch it for me for FREE if I bought the jewelry....Uhhh win/win for me I was already planning on buying jewelry and, you had me at free!! LolEven when I got my nose pierced there years ago they were very attentive and talked me through placement and even showed me what ot would look like on the other side and helped me choose a spot that beat suited me.I will definitely be back when Im ready to stretch my ears again or get a new piercing, because they really are the best in town!!

I have changed my nose stud three times with Tigger. She was not my original piercer, but wish she had been. She has always been so patient with my indecisiveness over what jewelry I want to change to. The titanium jewelry I have gotten here is high quality and I have never had a reaction to it If you are looking for an awesome piercer with a gentle hand, go see Tigger!!

Its very clean with clear procedures. Everything you need to get a piercing or tattoo is in shop so you dont need to worry. The workers are very kind and know exactly what theyre doing. Overall a very pleasant experience.

Fantastic job! The plastic cap on my earring post was fused on and I could not get my earring off. She cut off the cap and saved my earring. She was very professional and super nice, highly recommend this place!

My friend and I drove from bend to get pierced here. We both got our nipples and I love them but they put in a normal nipple bar, giving no healing room & I have no piercer a here in bend besides bitchy Jaimee😒 I tried to say the jewelery looked way too small but obviously wasnt listened to.. This is going into my nipple 😩 & I sure as hell dont have big nipples

I brought my 3 and a half month old daughter to see Tigger for her ears to be pierced. Tigger was amazing! So smooth and did such a good job with my daughter. The crying was minimal compared to what I expected, although that could be my perfect little baby LOL, but probably had a lot to do with Tiggers skill and confidence with the baby. If youre looking for someone to pierce your childs ears or even your own or anything else for that matter I would highly recommend Tigger!

Been waiting for at least over and hour just to have jewelry replaced in my septum. I was told that I was sixth in line and more than six customers went in in front of me. Honestly the one on campus at least apologizes for the wait and is tons better at customer service. I am never coming to the downtown location again!

Came in for my first piercing, although the jewelry selection seemed thin, the staff was wonderful and very helpful, made the piercing process very quick and painless. Will gladly go back in the future for more piercings

Ill try to keep this as short as I can, I met with a tattoo artist by the name of Joshua Hood on 3/27/16. We spoke about what I wanted he asked me for a appointment deposit and we set a date of 4/12/16. He said he would email me a receipt for the downpayment and a sketch of the tattoo. Text him 8 times before I heard back from him on 4/8/16 which to that all he said was sorry I went home early yesterday, Ill send you something this weekend He never sent me a receipt or sketch. Finally on our tattoo date, just a couple hours before our appointment he cancels, which at that point I ask for my money back and he never bothered to reply. So I had to go to his manager Joanne for my money. I Wouldnt Recommend This so called Tattoo Artist to anyone. He is shady and extremely unprofessional.

Im sure the tattoo artists are good, unfortunately we didnt get to meet with anyone because there was only one artist in, and thy were busy. The desk girl didnt answer any questions, just said pick an artist and Ill schedule an appt. A complete waste of time!

Clean and friendly staff. I went for three piercings and the guy performed them all quickly and cleanly. My two-year old daughter tagged along and they were kind to her as well.
