Must stop shop!Ira was amazing. My friend and I both scheduled tattoo appointments for the same day and time.Ira was so cool, we talked and laughed for hours. Found we had a lot of same interests and we could really relate on some topics.It was my first tattoo and he really focused on my comfort. Very easy with the needle and had some tricks up his sleeve on how to ease my pain.We were already designing my second tattoo before we completed my first.I have to say, the whole staff was friendly and welcoming. From my first phone call till the time I left, I really felt like family.I live in Jersey and could have gone anywhere for my first tattoo. Glad I went here. I’ll be back. Thank you guys!

My friend and I worked with Ty, he was able to fit us in super last minute and was so kind and personable. He let us adjust our sizes and was a very welcoming person. We are two girls new to the area so we were a little skeptical and worried about going but Ty made us feel super comfortable and easy going! Would highly recommend coming here!

My best friend and I booked an appointment with Danny for small, simple matching tattoos and we were incredibly happy with our whole experience. He designed a perfect little pumpkin for us, and his fine line work is quite impressive. The shop is super clean and he was very thorough about his cleanliness between each of our tattoos. We had great conversation during our tattoos and would definitely recommend Danny to anyone looking for a great, professional tattoo while also having a laidback, fun artist.

Rob is new to the shop, but a great artist. Ive only been to my first session. The shop is super clean, very interesting and comfortable atmosphere, and in a decent location. I was very impressed with the atmosphere of this place. I spent a day going to different shops in Eugene. Every other shop I went to was not helpful at all. This shop had 1 of the artist contact me to schedule a consult. I received a text within an hour. I had a consult with Wednesday Adams. She and I connected and she completely understood what I wanted. Got in with her the next week. I was completely happy with the work she did and will be returning for more work.

Logan did an amazing job, is super sweet and everyone at the shop were very nice. The BEST experience ever!

Jonathan nailed my tattoo.Listed what I wanted, although its not his normal he was willing. And what he drew up was all the items I asked for.Shop has amazing atmosphere.Clean! Bathroom art was perfect 😂Other artist cared about all clients and artists.This was my longest sitting at 4½ hours and it was the best of my many tattoos. Waited about 7 months from time of booking, it was worth the wait! (Ps it was a cover up)

Wednesday is a very welcoming presence. The procesa was professional and friendly. The entire atmosphere of the shop is friendly and open. There are multiple wonderful artists to choose from. Scheduling was a breeze and they are also running a February promotion where you get a random prize draw with your session! Absolutely a must explore if you are searching for some new work or a new artist

Got two smaller tattoos from Jake Lamar. The line work is great and fine. He was very attentive to what I wanted and the details. He was willing to redo the designs until it was just right. Also very kind and checked in through out the process. The shop itself is great and very clean too.

I’ve been a fan of Mark and his work for awhile so I was already excited to get a piece from him. But WOW seriously an incredible experience let me tell you. Very lovely shop with a warm, welcoming staff and high end work.As someone who’s never been tattooed, I was anxious about being around an environment that I was a noob to, but I was quickly embraced by Mark and the rest of the crew’s kindness. Very well rounded shop for all kinds of folks and styles.

Jordan was awesome. He totally knocked our tattoos out of the park. Beautiful work. Doesn’t have a heavy hand at all. He listened to what we wanted and was patient to changes we wanted to make. My husband and I are here in Oregon for our honeymoon and we really wanted to get tattoos. I got mine done by Adri and she was seriously so amazing. I wish I lived her just to continue going to her for my artwork. I gave her my ideas and told her to have creative freedom and what she created blew me away.The shop was very clean and professional. This is the BEST TATTOO SHOP in Eugene. They have the BEST TATTOO ARTIST and they treat you like family. Jake and Jonathan have done AWESOME things here and will only get better. I’ve gotten 4 tattoos from Jonathan and I wouldn’t trust anyone else

Katana is amazing and super talented. Such a young talent that surpasses others that have been in the biz for decades. Its been fun watching her grow as teen as a beautiful young adult. Her work speaks for herself and she is very professional, way beyond her years. She modified a cartoon to better model my fur baby. She made a last minute adjustment within seconds. This is my 2nd piece of a series and Im so happy with her art. I cant recommend this lovely lady enough 😍

The new shop is beautiful!!! I saw Ryan for a matching tattoo with my friend and he KILLED it! The entire experience has been amazing. Ive gotten a couple of tattoos from Ryan, he is awesome! Shop is super clean! All of the artists are really nice and professional. Anyone who asks where they should go, I always point them in the direction of Subdermal. These guys are awesome, super quality work in a sanitary and luxury setting!

Not gonna lie, was SUPER excited to get my tattoo done by Jonathan Wade. He was super quick with the consultation appointment I had made (I guess he had double booked that time slot) didnt really matter to me though as he seemed stoked to do my tattoo. Made my appointment and laid down a deposit without them even asking for one. When my appointment finally came I woke up SUPER sick with a fever and was honestly still contemplating going in and having it done anyways. But after talking it over with my GF she convinced me it wouldnt be fair of me to do that and possibly get the artist or someone else sick considering the current situation with covid-19. Called and left a voice mail message explaining the situation and havent heard back from them at all. Extremely disappointed with my experience.Edit: Subdermal has reached out to me after seeing this review to reschedule my tattoo. I will keep you posted and update my review as necessary.Edit 11/18: Got most of my tattoo done, amazingly talented artist and very happy with how its turned out so far. My first appointment was mid October. Just waiting to hear back from them to get it finished now😁Edit: 6/4 Jonathan got me in and finished my tattoo as soon as he had the time. Very professional and very awesome guy. 5 stars all the way. Sucks I got in when they were experiencing some technical difficulties with some employees, but they made sure I was well taken care of. Would definitely recommend to anyone looking to get a REALLY wicked good tattoo done.

Ive been working with Jake for quite a few years and was super excited to check out the new shop. Hes pretty popular, so I decided to try out a new artist, Ryan, and let me tell you! This guy did not disappoint! Hands down one of the best guys to work with and his line work is out of this world! Original designs and absolutely amazing group of artists! You would be missing out if you chose a different shop!

Some incredible talent at this shop. The prices are reasonable.. Especially for the level of artistry they host here. I follow them on Facebook and I am so impressed with what they do. Theyre great with anything from a small personal request, to helping you flesh out a whole sleeve or wrap around piece. The environment is extremely clean and professional. These folks are serious about your safety and keeping clean environment. This is how a tattoo shop should be run. Easy to find also.. just a quick block and a half from 5th street.

I first got recommended to Jonathan Wade before I had any tattoos by a friend and her husband who both had gone to him for their tattoos. So I trusted them and went to him as well. He did not disappoint! He did such an amazing job. Hes so nice and its like your just there hanging out the entire time. I went back alittle over a year later with my fiance and we both got tattoos for our daughter done and they couldnt have turned out any better. Highly recommend him to anyone that askes about my tattoos, which has been many people. Im sure all the other artists there are just as great.

Jonathan Wade at Subdermal art collective has done all but one of my tattoos. After I saw the amazing portrait in memory of my dog, weve spent another 35 hours together creating permanent art. My son is turning 21 this year and we already have his birthday tattoo scheduled and paid for. I wouldnt let anyone else touch my skin. Though I trust his judgement and am sure any of the artists there are wonderful.

My husband had a tattoo done. This was give to him as a gift for a heroic deed he did, and the tattoo was done to memorize it. I consulted to artist way in advance, let them know what we want. We had the consult, my husband told him what he wanted. Day of tattoo, none of the items where in the tattoo. Ok he rescheduled, goes back gets the tat started and is happy. BUT has to go back to get finished. Was told 2 weeks, then called for a month later but does get in sooner. Ok great! But when he goes in it’s finished as if it’s rushed! The artist normally is out of this world! What happened? He actually missed some of his line work!!! I’m so disappointed, as my family worked hard coming together for this tattoo for my husband who has dedicated his life saving others. I just feel like was important to us wasn’t important to the artist.

Nine years ago, I got a wild hair and decided to stop at a random Tattoo Shop in Springfield. I went in with the intention of getting my first Tattoo, a small little One Love Heart in Rasta colors. I let the guy at the front desk know that I wanted a big tribal piece eventually, but I didnt know what I wanted.The guy at the front desk was Jake Williams, and he was an Apprentice, but he talked me into a Tribal Piece, and drew something up for me. The guy that did the work didnt do exactly as planned, but the Zodiac Sign and my Heart on my Sleeve were there, so after five hours, I was pretty happy.Over the years I had it touched up, but it still needed some work. I went back to Jake, who was finally a Legit Tattoo Artist, at a nicer shop, and he did some Line work and added some more fill. I had just had surgery three days prior, so I wasnt able to sit through the whole thing, which meant I now had lines that needed filled.Yesterday I finally took that much needed six hour vacation on Jakes table! Jake finished fixing my Tribal piece, and then he did a beautiful Snow Flake and Mountain piece for me. I am in love with it!The really cool part about yesterdays visit, is that it was in Jake and Jonathans very own, brand new, super nice shop, SubDermal ArtCollective! This place is so fresh, clean and classy! The music and all around vibe is super chill and relaxing! I feel super lucky to be able to say that I met Jake in a little Springfield shop, before he was even running the gun, and I get to see him killing it in his own shop with seven artists!

Have gotten two pieces from Jordahn Jollett over at sub-dermal and each time he’s went above and beyond to make sure I was satisfied and his work is A-1 would definitely highly recommend him and any one of the other artists over at this shop 10/10 would and will go again soon!!

Poorly done tattoos. Went in to the shop a week ago for 3 matching tattoos with friends. Firstly took a total of 6 hours for three quarter sized tattoos, including time to breakdown and set up in between. When we got home all of us noticed that the lines were wobbly and did not match up where they were supposed to despite the fact that a stencil was used. All three of us have had tattoos and know how to do aftercare, but a week later 2 of the tattoos are rejecting, one of which looks infected. The other is still red and swollen. We reached out to inform the artist and he blamed location and improper care of the tattoos, and offered a touch up once healed, but based on the quality of the original tattoos and the fact the all of us are having trouble, I do not think we will be returning.

Ira is a Great Artist and The rest of the Artists have all been very Friendly and I even brought my Daughter in today for her 1st tattoo for her 18th birthday. Ira explained everything with her and was very Honest.
