I’ve been going here for two years, best experience and atmosphere each time. the employees are nice to talk to, very professional, and them having snacks and drinks up front for free is nice. lots of things to do around the front while you’re waiting as well. i always recommend this place to people.

Did a walk-in for nipple piercings and I was definitely nervous. The gentleman at the desk was super nice and reassuring. Also, they had snacks and water for those who didn’t eat before coming in; which saved me lol.Then the piercer himself was super nice and reassuring as well. Great hype man as well. He marked, I laid down, and then he pierced them. He did this all within five minutes…if that. Gave me my after care instructions and sent me on the way. I’d highly recommend this establishment!

Been going here about a year a half? Now always a good experience. Had multiple tattoos and piercings always great quality, understanding and even compassion when it came to nerves getting certain things done. I really love the way Nate took his time on my AWESOME Lilith tattoo you can tell these people love and care about their job and work they put out. Always recommend. Definitely cool people and worth the visit.

I went for my first tattoo yesterday and it was 10/10. When I walked in the door, not going to lie I was nervous. But I was instantly calm, everyone was nice, I felt welcomed. The tattoo artist- Krow did awesome. Will definitely be going again soon.

My daughter had her belly button pierced. The staff was excellent with her. Made sure she was comfortable. Was very knowledgeable about after care and explaining the importance of keeping her new piercing clean, what to use, what to expect during the healing process, healing time. All around great experience. I would 100% recommend them for your piercing and tattoo needs! 5⭐

I took the day to join in on all the fun Anvil ink was offering for their Friday, the 13th flash sheet special. I got a helix piercing and two tattoos. The wait was very long but worth the wait. It was a very busy event which would explain the wait times but the staff were all very friendly and engaging to talk to if you had questions or concerns. The event was fun and managed very well. Jimmy Mello did my Helix piercing very chill personable guy. He really made me feel confident in his abilities, which resulted in a great experience with no pain. I then moved on to my tattoo artist, Justice Portalatin, who was also a great guy who makes you feel confident in his abilities. Im very happy with my two flash tattoos and piercing. I definitely suggest this location to anyone looking for a tattoo from staff that really sets the tone of a great tattoo experience.

This was the best experience I’ve had as a woman with 10+ piercings. This place is very clean, friendly, and accommodating. I would HIGHLY recommend getting pierced here to everyone. Their prices are great and the piercing process was explained thoroughly and done perfectly. LOVE this place :)

I got my very first tattoo done here and it was a great experience. I was super worried about someone messing up the tattoo I wanted because its in a different language and my aunt had that happen a while back at a different tattoo parlor. But I am happy to say that Jimmy did the tattoo perfectly (even with me being shakey)!!! He was very kind and patient when I got woozy and had to take a break. He gave me some snacks and a drink and reassured me that its ok to stop if I need to which made me feel more comfortable and less nervous. I highly recommend this place because it turned something that i was incredibly nervous about into a comfortable and enjoyable experience. I will definitely be coming back in the future!

I’ve came to the shop three times in the past two years. Each time, the customer service has been top tier. From the piercings to the after care instructions. Omar, Jimmy and Nate have been professional and patient. My two sons and myself have gotten pierced. I can’t wait to come back for my next piercing.

I went in to get my spectrum pierced and when I walked in it was a very homie place. Welcomed by caring staff. They offered free snacks and games to play as well. I got a pleasure of having Jimmy do my piercing and he was very sweet and walked me through the whole process. I was nervous but I can tell he knew what he was doing and all my anxiety went away right away. I highly recommend going to them it was a nice experience and I can’t wait to keep going to them for future tattoos and piercings.

Got my first piercing here (nose piercing) the staff was great very funny, free snacks and drinks included. A lot of aftercare products were provided, over all great experience. Will come back

I was going in to pay for my husbands tattoo, he had been drinking so I was talking to them about a tattoo that Im interested in having.I talked to the tattoo artist and everyone was so awesome and down home and was totally understanding.I told them the story behind why I wanted to get my 2 little tatts. Fish on my right wrist and loaves of bread on my left wrist and told the story of Jesus giving a sermon on mount Olive, people were hungry so he had the desiples to go ask them if they had food and if they was willing to give it to Jesus and this young boy had 2 fish and a loaf of bread then they found someone else that had bread.They collected 5 loaves of bread and 2 fish. They gave it to Jesus and he put them in baskets, he prayed and blessed the food and gave thanks, then told the desiples to take the baskets and everyone food then they collected the leftovers they feed 5,000 men + the woman and children that wasnt counted that ate as well...It was so delightful and awesome experience.

Do not get a piercing here!!! I went to get my belly button pierced, they pierced it crooked and way way too deep! They would not refund my money but decided to offer to re pierce it for free?!?

Great artwork, amazing atmosphere, they even have a play room for kids. Love the chooses that you have and if your not sure they work with you and have a unsure what to get roulette kinda gum ball machine for $60 tattoos. Come by be amazed as I am.

This place was so cute, I got my nose double pierced. I absolutely loved the gentleman who did my piercing. I unfortunately don’t remember his name, but he has a beard and gages, and he was so nice, I highly recommended him. They also give you a little bag of care instructions and they put little Valentine’s Day candies inside, it was just so cute. I’ll definitely be returning for a tattoo!

I live in Iowa but served many years of my military career at Ft Bragg, NC. My wife and took a trip there to just visit old friends and see the sights. But I had come up with the idea of getting my Jumpmaster “Master-wings” tattooed on me while being at Bragg since it’s where I had earned them plus did most of my Airborne operations. Before taking the trip I contacted the guys at Anvil ink/art and explained the situation and what I was wanting plus that I was on a pretty tight timeline while there. There were more than accommodating and supportive. They made the complete experience absolutely perfect and exactly what I was wanting. Once I had got to the shop I met my artistNathan “ The Tattooing Viking” Paul who could legitimately pass for a living Viking but couldn’t have been a better or more competent artist. I wanted specifically because was a fellow Jumpmaster and what better honor then to have a fellow Jumpmaster do my ink. The welcome we received plus the down to earth helpful atmosphere at there shop was so amazing that might wife at the spur of the moment decided to get a tattoo done while I was receiving mine and she couldn’t be happier with hers. So both of us can’t say enough about the artists and overall shop, truly a memorable and incredible experience. If possible I would travel from Iowa just to have them be the ones to do any ink work on me that’s how great they are. So I give the biggest or strongest recommendation to use this shop that I possibly can. Thanks guys for making this happen and creating such a memorable incredible experience.

Amazing job! Just to clarify on the one picture my tattoo is NOT crooked my arm is laying weird. Super clean, and thorough job. The Viking has done 7 of my tattoos, and I will continue to keep going to him. He makes you feel super comfortable and kept checking to make sure I felt okay and didn’t need to stop or anything.

This place is top notch! They all do great work and the customer service is impeccable. I came in as a walk in and chanced it with a gumball tattoo. I was a bit nervous on the uncertainty of what I would get and the placement but Matt made me feel comfortable with my placement decision and he did a great job. I love my new tattoo and I am already working on booking a bigger piece.

After searching everywhere for a shop that actually gives a damn about their client’s wants and needs we found this amazing shop. Immediately from the door Omar greeted us made sure we were comfortable with humor, games, drinks/ snacks, tv/ lounge area. (They even have a children’s area! Make sure you clean up after them y’all!) Despite not having an appointment Omar gave the artist the idea that we wanted and we are more than satisfied. Thank you to Nate! Very detailed and efficient. We are beyond satisfied with the service and hospitality. We will definitely be back!

I’ve been getting tattoos for over 10 years now and I have to say this is the best ink and experience I’ve ever had. From the moment I walked in the door I felt so welcomed and comfortable. They give you a goody bag after your tattoo with after care instructions, a piece of candy, a pen and a card which I think is really cool as well. Keep doing what you guys do best and I can’t wait to get more ink very soon.

Nathan did my devil baby tattoo and Matt did my husbands mario & Luigi tattoo. Both artists are amazing and talented, as well as professional. This shop is clean and easily available. I honestly drive 2 hours just to get tattoos from this shop and its worth it. The level of detail they provide is amazing and affordable.

Great customer service. Locked my purse in car as I arrived for my appointment.Arafat helped with finding someone to unlock my car and after waiting for AAA, was able to still be seen. The process was smooth and all staff were friendly. Clean space (restroom was nice). Service provider did an excellent job! Will be back for my next pieces soon!

Stopped by during a last minute trip to NC. After speaking with the artists and seeing the shop I had to get a tattoo (well 2) before I left town.They made sure to promptly get me scheduled with an opening and explained their tap to check-in system.Great team that does great work, highly recommend.

I have always wanted my nose pierced but was very nervous. My Aunt asked if I would get my pierced with her and of course I said yes. I was still very nervous but when we arrived everyone made me feel so much more relaxed. Matt did a fantastic job and Im so happy that I finally got it done!

Sep 16th 2023 (National Video Game Day): Came in to get $64 tattoos for national video game day. Knew the opening was at 11AM. Got there shortly after opening and there were already several people there that wanted these awesome (mostly Mario/Nintendo themed tattoos). Omar got us situated quickly and is super awesome and friendly (best Kirby shirt). Apparently the Yoshi with Kirby on his back is a super hit. That’s the one I got. I love it. It really seemed like getting two for one honestly 🤗. Wasn’t long at all before the two of us that came in were both in Eric’s chair. Eric had us both done in no time at all. I plan to come back soon with whoever I can bring with me!P.S. Hopefully the drinks we brought Omar and Eric from 7 Brew hit the spot today!June 18th 2023 (Fathers Day): Came in with a group of four of us all wanting the “fate gumball” tattoos on Fathers Day. They got us taken care of right away. Nate did the other three and Matt did mine. They were all quick and easy. Love the atmosphere and artists. Love the Viking vibe. Highly recommend.

We had a great experience there! Its been a minute since Ive been in a tattoo parlor, but I dont remember them having free arcade games, a kids room, and free snacks. I took my 9yo to get her ears pierced, and quasi on impulse got 2nd lobe piercings and my nostril done. Jimmy, the piercer, was really great with my nervous kiddo and let her watch through my processes. She felt really comfortable with him and he was able to get both her ears done within 10-15 minutes (and she took 3 hours to get her last set of shots). I really appreciated our experience!

I had been wanting my Medusa piece done for almost a year now. Browsed shops online and came across this one! Had Eric do my first session & I am absolutely in love with my piece! I cannot wait to finish it! The shop was clean, everyone was super friendly. By far the best tattoo shop experience I have ever had.

First time going to this place. I went in the morning and they were able to get me in same day in the afternoon. Nate was my artist and he was able to do exactly what I wanted. Very happy with my tattoo!

Tattoo experience ….Everything was a 10/10 I liked my Artist justice he didn’t babied me & that’s what I needed he was fast & room was comfortable he held good conversation.

Literally the best place in Fayetteville. I go o them for my tattoos and my piercings. They’re super helpful and knowledgeable. I’ve gotten my tongue, eyebrow, ears and nose done here and a few tattoos. Never going anywhere else for my body mods.

Good experience, nice/funny people, highly recommend, will come back.

My name is Mimi and I went in for a cover up on my back. I had the pleasure of having the tattoo Viking do it for me. Me being the extra person that I am was whining and everything but he was still nice professional and put up with all my shenanigans. The tattoo turned out awesome and I will be back. I recommend the full day, especially if you are getting a big tattoo it’s very cost efficient and the bag has awesome goodies at the end. This will be my forever tattoo place

I Came in During the Friday the 13th event yesterday for my first tattoo all pre selected designs options they had were around the same size i was looking for in a first tattoo and, even with the long line inside it still felt relaxed and homey. Everyone was joking and having great time with each other and my partner, and i it helped me feel more relaxed. I wish i could give more stars for my artist Jimmy and how he took care of me especially with his aproach when he first started as a first timmer i really appreciate the thought and care for what you did. Overall im happy i found Anvil ink and art ,And looking forward to coming back again for my next one

This place is amazing. I’m not very fond of shops, but will definitely be back to this one. I was a walk in, was seen very quickly, was listened to and got exactly what I wanted but better. Just Matt did mine and I’m not really a talker, but it wasn’t awkward. It was a comfortable silence. And that’s really important to someone with the kind of anxiety I have. You can watch tv while you wait, they offered me FREE snacks and drinks. I just don’t think you can get much better than this shop.

This place has been my go-to for years. I’ve only been getting tatted by Nate since like 2011. He’s done about 10 of my pieces. He is good at what he does and is reasonably priced. My son goes to him too and did a really great touch up on his sleeve. Check him out if you are looking for your next masterpiece.

I am in love with my half sleeve I just got. Honestly phenomenal work, they’re so kind and made my vision come to life. It came out better then I thought. I’ll definitely be coming back to get several more pieces done.

They were super nice and gave me lots of advice when I emailed them questions for my first facial piercings. My piercer, Jimmy, was so friendly and was even kind enough to tell me the steps of the piercings, of course he threw in jokes when I mentioned my anxious state. The entire staff is so chill and the environment is comforting. Thank you Jimmy for my vertical snake bites!!!

He makes sure that you get exactly what you want. And at the end I was given a goodie bag with a treat and some after care instructions. They also contact you a couple weeks later to make sure things are going good with the piercing. I definitely will be coming back !

Best customer service I have ever experienced in a tattoo shop, and amazing artist! I honestly don’t see myself going anywhere else to have any of my future tattoos done but Anvil Ink and Art! I took my 18 year old son a couple weeks ago to get his first tattoo, a half sleeve he wanted as his graduation present from me .... Nate did his tattoo for him and it turned out a absolutely AMAZING! Matt started my sleeve for me, starting with just the outline of the flowers on the top half of my arm and I am absolutely in love with it and can’t wait to go back in and finish the shading on it! I’ve never seen such clean line work and am constantly getting compliments on both my son’s, and my work we had done here! All around amazing service from the time you walk in the door, starting with the guy behind the counter when you come in!

Me and my sister went in for an estimate price on tats and ended up getting amazing ones the same day. The service was great and everyone was chill and kind. The place was clean and they had snacks while we waited. Eric did both of our tats and I definitely love my Kid Buu tattoo. I’ll be going back for sure.Update: I’ve gone back and gotten 3 more tats here and got my right ear pierced today and my sister for her septum pierced and has gotten like 5 more amazing tats here. I went in today with a group of friends to get some piercings done. I travelled from about 90 mins away, but it was absolutely worth it. Jimmy was amazing, so kind, professional, and obviously knew what he was doing. I had a helix and conch/orbital piercing done. My friends and I were obviously a little nervous, but he was amazing at talking us down from the anxiety that comes with getting stabbed with a needle. Jimmy was so clean and fast, everything was kept sterile, and he gave us all the aftercare instructions we could need. Plus the prices were amazing and significantly cheaper than anything in the Raleigh, Durham, Cary, Chapel Hill area. I will definitely be back!

Great place for tattoos! Been going there to see Nate for about 2 years now. He is an amazing artist, and very professional. He ensures that you leave with exactly what you wanted, and his work always turns out incredible! During the entire tattoo sessions, he makes sure that I’m doing all right and checking to see if I need a break. He is 100% about the client that is in his chair, and ensuring that they have the best experience and leaving with not only a smile on their face, but also a cool piece of art to proudly show off. I definitely feel that way every time I leave his shop. Great guy, and definitely a great shop!
