George did an absolutely amazing job on my tattoo. This studio comes highly recommended. Safe to say this may best the best studio on the east coast !

Absolutely unbeatable experience. From the moment I walked in the door with a vague idea, to leaving with my dream tattoo, I couldnt have asked for more. All the staff were super friendly and really helped me feel comfortable, especially Jared my tattoo artist. Jared did an incredible job from start to finish. He made sure I was happy with the drawing, stencil placement, and bed set up. He was polite and accommodating to whether I wanted to chat or not, but consistently asked how I was feeling, if I needed a break, or to just readjust. Genuinely cannot put into words how much I appreciate the service and tattoo I walked away with. Thanks Sovereign Tattoo!!!

I highly recommend this place!!! I went and Jared was my artist. First of all let me say, I will be going back (and hopefully a couple more times!) The place has such a chill vibe that all of my initial anxieties faded away. Everyone at the shop is super kind and supportive of one another. I was able to relax while watching some anime, and Jared always ensured that I was comfortable. In short, Jared was super kind, made me feel comfortable with the experience, and welcomed me back at anytime. I couldn’t have asked for anything more, thanks!

Got some tattoos from Vince and it was a wonderful experience, he’s a great artist and very comfortable with his clients and making the design fit them perfectly. I will most definitely be coming back to get more tattoos and the shop it self is a comfortable and calming place to get a tattoo.

Max has been working on my horror leg sleeve for quite a bit of time. He always does an AMAZING job. I get SO many compliments on my work done by him. I highly recommend getting tattooed by him if you are looking for a really good realism artist who works with black and grey!He also works a good pace and doesn’t waste any time. Work is always done beautifully!

I have been going to Sovereign for almost a year! My boy Vincent always shows out. He has such great creativity and talent. I trust him to just do whatever he wants with the tattoos and THEY ALWAYS come out looking AMAZING. People ask me where I get them done and I 100% recommend Vincent and the Sovereign shop. Booked an appointment with Vincent on short notice and he went out of his way to help me out! He is an amazing tattoo artist, we went with a bigger piece and let me tell you, i didn’t feel a thing. I’ve been to plenty of tattoo shops and by far sovereign tattoo studio is one of the best on my list. Vincent was on time and prepared before I even got there, very professionally and great atmosphere. Definitely recommend to any new customers getting their first tattoo or those looking to add more!

I have gotten tattooed at a few places in Fayetteville, this was by far the best tattoo and experience I have had. Jared did a family crest piece on my lower arm and it exceeded my expectations. He talks if you want to talk but doesn’t talk your ear off. Super cool dude. Shop was clean, good lighting, music, great price, and some friendly people. Heading back to Jared to do some more work. Can’t recommend this place enough! If you’re new to town and need some work done, this is the place!

I’ve looked at a lot of shops to get this piece done and when I found Sovereign Tattoo I knew this was the place. James was as excited as I was to get this done and made me feel welcomed. Great studio, I’ve been to a hand full of studios around the Fayetteville area and I can personally attest that Sovereign Tattoo Studio is leagues above the competition. Malcom and Lou are the only two artists I have seen however nothing but good work has come from the other artists.

The shop is not only very professional, it’s also clean and an all around badass tattoo shop. Stopped in to check out the shop and see if they could bring what I had in mind to reality and Jared did just that. His work is superior in regards to the quality of his line work, shading, and all around attention to detail. Stopped by during an awesome promotion and sat with Max. While waiting in line, the Sovereign crew not only had a food truck and multiple raffles, but they also handed out free water bottles!The entire process was highly efficient and well worth the wait! All of the staff were extremely kind. The shop was clean and the whole environment was welcoming.Max was great to talk to and I really enjoy the work he did. I’m sure they had quite a busy day. Went to get a tattoo from Jared and it was my first time there. Nice ambience and very clean. Complimentary water as well!Jared was very accommodating, always asking how I was doing and even had a phone charger for clients.Highly recommend!

I cannot recommend the artist James Bloomer enough-From the initial consultation, I knew that this was going to be a an absolute blast.He had interesting concept ideas, was easy to talk to /work with and his tattoo ability speaks for itself- light handed, no issues with healing at all.The tattoo session went so smoothly and I am in love with the results.I’m already planning my next two appointments.The establishment is clean, chill vibes and they offer you refreshments.If you are trying to decide where to go for a tattoo and are on the fence- I hope this review will instill confidence that this is the place you should chose.Quality work, quality artists.

Ive been to a few shops in and around Fayetteville and this is by far the best shop around starting from when you walk in all the way till the tattoo is finished. Vincent is my go-to artist and he has never failed to impress me with the work that does.

George and Travis are awesome! George worked with me to build an amazing piece to help me finish My sleeve with an epic Poseidon black and gray. Travis and George were hilarious and super personable, I set up my Fiancé the next week for a spine tattoo with Travis, and he did amazing too! This will be the only tattoo shop I use going forward!

Amazing work and hilarious staff. My experience was top of the line with zero complaints even with a scheduling bump they have managed to work with me every step of the way. One of the biggest things i appreciated was when if i had any issues with the design of the tattoo they did not make me feel belittled or unheard. As you can see below they managed to merge two pieces into one and the finish turned out amazing. My piece was actually suppose to take two session but with my personal issues they managed to fit the whole piece into one session (long hours). Details of the art as well as how the staff presented themselves on a professional level was appreciated. I will highly recommend anyone to this shop.

I don’t even know where to start! I had an appointment yesterday with George, the owner, and had an amazing experience! Everyone that works there has such a great personality, the space it self was beyond clean and organized, and it was obvious they all love what they do. I did some research for a couple of months to find the right artist for what I was looking to have done. I came across George’s work and knew he was the artist I wanted to do my sleeve. 8 hours later and he nailed it! Highly recommend him and this studio!

I brought my wife to be tattooed by George back in July and he did an amazing job. The quality of work is absolutely second to none. He was really professional, had great advice and insight into how we went about customizing the peice she wanted, and he was really friendly. The rest of the staff were also really friendly while we were there and it was an all around great experience. The atmosphere in the shop is really laid back and comfortable and we will for sure be booking more appointments in the future. I follow the shop on instagram and every time I scroll past one of their posts I want to book an appointment for myself. I cant reccomend them enough.

Sovereign is the best shop in Fayetteville, hands down. ALL of their artists produce top quality work, not just one or two like most shops. Traditional, new school, portraits, you name, they have an artist who will KILL IT! The two portraits are by Max Ray and the traditional piece is by Travis Head! Go check em out

The men there were very nice. Malcolm did my tattoo. I didn’t like that I have to wait in the beginning because I had already submitted the tattoo I wanted but it was worth the wait. Malcolm did a great job. He added his own creative flare and I love it. I will be going back for more tattoos.

George Weibe is hands down one of the best of not the best tattoo artist in Fayetteville! So far I’ve gotten 3 tattoos done by him, and all have been phenomenal! And what’s even better is this is his shop! Very classy inside and out! Highly recommend going to sovereign if you are in the market to get a tattoo!

Max is by far the best tattoo artist I’ve ever came to he’s great with portraits and shading. he’s done my entire sleeve and I highly recommend him to anyone who is wanting a great realistic black and white tattoos or is getting their first tattoo, he’s very professional and if your getting a tattoo on an area that is going to hurt he’s good at helping people get past that part and complete their tattoo.

Outstanding new tattoo shop with phenomenal artist and amazing/courteous front desk staff! I’ve been luckily enough to have been tattooed by multiple artist there and highly recommend this place! Their artist can literally design anything from realism, traditional, portraits to whatever you can think of.

I drove all the way from MD because my son recommend. The place was clean and neat and the artists were very professional. Did a cover up of a tattoo I had 30 years ago and you cant tell at all. If I ever decide to get another tattoo Ill drive that 300 miles again.

I looked through all their artists work and chose one I thought could help me fix a tattoo. Called and made an appointment, answered their questions. When i arrived the artist I was supposed to see looked at the tattoo and asked me, in a really unfair tone why would they give me this one? I live an hour away, which I told the person making the appointment. It was a waste of time, gas and breath. The bathroom smelled good though.

I went to Max Ray, he was very professional! He always makes it his goal to make sure your tattoo is exactly what you want. If you are nervous about a certain area hurting he is pretty good at calming you down and working through what ever concerns you have🙂🙂

I’m an atmosphere kinda girl, there has to be good energy in a place. From the moment I walked in it was great. The guy that helped us was super funny and knowledgeable. I think his name was Bart.James tattooed me. He came up with a design that fit the spot on my arm perfect. He moved it to make sure it was in the best place possible. He definitely cares about presentation and the end result. It is beautiful and by far one of my favorite tattoos I have. I booked another appointment with him for next month. Totally worth the money! I loved the experience and my new tattoo is perfect.

James was an absolutely fantastic artist! He is very detail oriented, professional, and talented! I was so excited to add this pufferfish to my arm, and hope to have James add more ocean critters in the future!

Quotes seemed very pricey for what I was asking for. I have over 30 tattoos and the price was well over the average cost. TBH it was average at best work from portfolio.
