Adrian was very professional and helpful as a walk in wanting an anime tattoo. I was only in town for the night and we didn’t have time to do the tattoo that I came in wanting. So we sat down and discussed what we could do with the time restraint and we came up with something I was very happy with. Thank you Adrian your awesome.

Got a tattoo here for Memorial Day and I have to say it was a great experience, staff is very accommodating and made me feel very welcome. Manda took care of me and gave me an awesome piece!!

Walked in for my first tattoo with no appoitment and they immediately helped me figure out everything i needed to know and got me started with Adrian who took his time and did a great job with my tat. overall the whole staff was incredibly friendly and they make you feel right at home and comfortable for your experience, price was also super fair.

Steffy is absolutely incredible! She is not only so incredibly talented, but she is so kind, so sweet and makes the whole process of getting tattooed so much fun. She is so creative, taking the outline of my ideas, and truly creating art, coming from within and making such a beautiful collaboration of what you what and her talent. I’m so proud to wear her artwork, and am so looking forward to all of the plans we’ve made come to life. The shop is clean, and beautiful and the entire staff is so kind and welcoming. Had fine line wedding rings done and they came out awesome. Just the right amount of depth and pressure. Cam is an expert in fine line work and great with free hand drawings.

What an amazing experience with Mady. My friend and I decided to get our piercings done together and it was a blast picking out our jewelery. Such a great selection and so much to choose from. Mady has such great ideas and is such a sweetheart. She is an expert in her craft and we have so many ideas and will be back for more!

Awesome service! Nick was great and so was everyone at the shop! He was super gentle and took his time. Highly recommend him. As you can see he does amazing work. I also got my piercings switched out by Maddy and she never fails to come through. She’s the only person I’ll let do my piercings. Great place to go!

I went to get nipple piercings here yesterday and walked out soooo satisfied! Mady was honestly the BEST! Everything was so clean everyone was so nice and Mady made sure I was comfortable from beginning to end. The process was smooth for me and my friends (everyone got either a piercing or tattoo) and we all had an awesome experience. I live far from this place and I will continue to go here because everything was so great and Mady was amazing!

Amanda greeted me soon I walked in the door very kind she was very patient and had great energy. She took time to understand what I wanted. She consistently kept cleaning the tattoo. What a great experience! Steffy did my tattoo, and she’s an incredible artist. I came for a consultation, and we talked about the tattoo. When I went in for my appt. She drew it out for me and did not pressure me or rush me when I changed my mind a few times on placement, and the execution clearly speaks for itself. I’m obsessed! We came in as walk ins and everyone was friendly and willing to help me and my husband design our first tattoos. Steffy Boom did mine and she took two inspiration pics and created an amazing design. She was awesome, professional, and I was just amazed what she was creating during the session. Now…what to get for my second tattoo…

Easy 5 stars. Can we give 20 stars! First time getting a tattoo. First time literally walking into a tattoo shop in my life. This can be a little scary but they were chill and nice. The tattoo took 2 sessions and Oscar crushed it. The detail he put into my piece requires talent and skill based on years of experience. I cannot say enough good things. I will be back in a few months for the next one.

This shop is amazing! I let my friend Monique talk Meghan and I into “going away” tattoos and piercings last night. We just showed up to Borrowed Time with no appointments and they were so accommodating. We felt so welcomed especially by the manager Danny who was so funny! Just finished the first session of a new tattoo with the new apprentice artist Logan. This is the second tattoo hes done for me and he is absolutely fantastic. Pays attention to detail so much, checks up on you throughout the tattoo, and he doesnt mind stopping to take a break if needed. Overall makes it a great experience which will keep me coming back. Went to Mady with my best friend for a couple piercings and had an amazing experience! She is very knowledgeable, will let you know if you have appropriate anatomy for certain piercings, and she is simply a lovely soul. I’ve had many piercers over the years, but I would say that she has been my favorite. I was visiting from out of state but will definitely be visiting her again on my next trip. I was lucky to stumble across this shop looking for an artist to design and do my coverup. I met and scheduled an appointment with Phil and I could not be happier with the end result and overall experience. I was greeted by Danny (shop manager) as soon as I walked in and was made to feel super comfortable from the first moment I arrived. Phil came up with the perfect design checking off all of my wants for the tattoo. It was a long 8+ hours but the whole shop had an awesome vibe with some really cool folks there. I can’t recommend this place enough!

100% best tattoo experience I’ve ever had. I’ve been getting tattooed for 11 years now and not once have I had an experience like I did today. The staff’s hospitality is on point, as soon as I walked through the door they made sure I was comfortable. Came in as a walk-in and was taken care of so quick. Every one was so nice and funny and the place was clean with a chill vibe. Luke was my artist and was super relaxed and easy to work with to make a concept come to life. My tattoo turned out better than expected and ill definitely be coming back again. One of the artists also sung and danced a few times which i can only assume to be free entertainment to distract from tattoo pain. Great place!

I wish I could give a higher rating to this shop. Danny (the manager) welcomed us when we arrived and was very friendly and accommodating. We scheduled to get tattoos with our cousin who was visiting from Atlanta and thankfully our cousin was set up with Scott, who did an awesome job with his tattoo. Unfortunately, my sister and I were set up with Adrian. We are extremely dissatisfied with our tattoos and also his attitude and approach during the whole process was sub par. I am most likely going to get my tattoos laser removed once they heal because of how badly they were done. I was super excited to get these tattoos and I wish the shop had paired us with someone else as it seems they have a lot of other great artists.

Wanted to cover a very very dark piece on my side. I called numerous other shops, most of which wouldn’t even take the time to talk to me, let alone meet with me. I called Borrowed Time and they were super easy said to come in anytime to talk to someone. When I went I was immediately directed to Luke who does a lot of cover up work. Luke made the whole process super easy. I gave him an idea of what I wanted and came back 2 days later to do the work. I loved the sketch but was even more excited with the finished product. Luke truly did an amazing job on both the cover up portion and the new work. I can’t wait to go back and add on! Definitely recommend the shop and Luke specifically. Whole experience was great from start to finish.

Took my daughter to get her first tattoo, we had such a great experience. She was so nervous and her artist Dan Serna was so great with her, kept her smiling the whole time. He had a light hand and her tattoo came out beautifully. If your looking for somebody that can do fine lines he is definitely your guy! My sister and I decided to get tattoos while we were on vacation. I did some research and found Borrowed Time had a lot of good reviews so we decided to check it out. We were walk-in customers and they took us right away! This shop was amazing. It was big, beautifully designed, and there were lots of different artists to fit any need. Everyone at the shop was super friendly and welcoming. They all seemed to really enjoy working there. Adrian did my tattoo and he was fantastic. He drew up the design exactly how I wanted it, gave me different sizing options and did some amazing shading work too. And it was very reasonably priced. My sister got her tattoo done by Oscar who did beautiful script work. And he was more than happy to make any changes that we wanted to the design. I highly recommend this shop to anyone and will definitely be coming back here next time I’m in Fort Lauderdale!

Traveled from Dallas to get my first tattoo from Borrowed Time and I was NOT disappointed. They were super friendly and helped both me and my dad throughout the process of getting our firsts and making sure we were comfortable. The tattoos ended up being fabulous thanks to our amazing artist Adrian. Easy to say that I have fallen in love with this place and needless to say I will be traveling back over to Fort Lauderdale for all of my next tattoos!

I walked in to explore the shop because I was interested in possibly getting a tattoo. The front shop manager was awesome and made me feel very welcome. I ended up getting a tattoo from Adrian. He absolutely killed the game. He did an amazing job and made me feel really confident about getting a tattoo from him, especially since I have had some bad experiences in the past. I am super pumped up about my tattoo and would definitely get a bunch more if I lived around here. I got a chance to see some of the other artists doing tattoos and their work is phenomenal as well. I would happily get tattooed from anyone there.

All artists in this shop will intentionally mess up or put something in your tattoo that you dont want just for their own amusement and to make fun of you. They have literally come out and said this publicly that they do this, they would add flames to make it look bad. They can not be trusted. Make sure to do your research and find a trustworthy artist before getting a tattoo. Definitely not at this shop. It might be done nicely but not in the way you want or with something added you didnt want.

It was my first time at this shop. I came in for a memorial piece with my mom for my cat dying of cancer for my birthday. It was my moms first time getting inked. The tattoo itself was done quickly but it wasn’t how I wanted it. The experience was so stressful and rude that my mom ended up not getting what she wanted just bc she didn’t want to get more attitude or feel more uncomfortable while we were already going through the process of grieving. It’s not considerate to clown someone for wanting to get numbing cream for their first tattoo or say “you don’t know if you’ll even need it”. My mom will never get a tattoo again for this reason. Then we both got snapped at for twitching at involuntary at that pain bc we are sensitive. I’ve had a few tattoos before and have never had to deal with so much ego. I was given a completely different artist when I came in did I didn’t even get an opportunity to see their work till I was already there and basically had no choice. Then the artist gave me attitude like it was my fault I didn’t see their work. I walked out very disappointed and felt overcharged for what we received. I had to take a few weeks to cool off before writing a review bc I wanted to focus on my birthday and trying to give my sweet girl a good farewell. I wish it had been a better experience considering how much effort is put into their social media presence but we did not feel welcome there and will not be back.

This is the tattoo shop so stop reading comments. So far I have had 3 eight hour sessions working on a leg sleeve. I can easily say it was the best tattoo experience I’ve ever had. Jon Nelson, provides phenomenal work. And is by far the most personable artist I have met. The entire staff is professional and is more of a family than colleagues. Inside the shop it’s dope, well kept, and super clean! Amazing atmosphere all around! I would recommend this shop to anyone, and will I not be going to another shop ever. Jon along with all the artists are pros at what they do. Ask Seth to tell you a joke he is usually not that funny but give him a chance he might surprise you.

TERRIBLE, SAD AND UPSETTING EXPERIENCE!! I got to my appointment at 1pm, the artist knew what I wanted since before because I went to a consultation and paid a 100$ deposit. I get there and she didn’t even remember, I showed her and she took an hour to draw it which I don’t understand because she just copied the 2 references I gave her. When she started tattooing me, she was crazy slow and now I know she was clearly milking the clock. She stopped several times to see if she can add “ more details” she stopped several more to change the music and when she finished, she took 10 minutes to take a picture, I was being super nice and posing but little did I know that I was going to be charged for all of that, she took in total 3 hours and a half counting the time since I got there!!! My total was 516$ FOR A LINE WORK TATTOO with no detail that you make in an hour or less, I have MULTIPLE tattoos so I know what I’m talking about!!! It is insane and disrespectful that this place allows this kind of situations, not professional at all!! Do not recommend!! Steffy is the name of the artist!! HORRIBLE.

We were down in Florida for a bachelorette party and a couple of us girls decided to get tattoos done by Kelly and another guy (can’t remember his name). However, everyone there was great and super nice. They were super cool about 6 of us doing a same day appointment and the work they did was great and super quick! Highly recommend!

Went to Rob while in town for just a few days and he did amazing! Finished my whole rib piece in one sitting and I love how it came out. The shop itself is super cool and the staff is very kind and welcoming!

This is my second time getting tatted here & I want to start off by saying the parlor and artists made my tattoo experience great! I got a piece done recently by Cam who is about to wrap up his apprenticeship, and he really outdid himself all around. He payed close attention to detail up to the final strand of hair on the piece and I gotta say I was very impressed. I am grateful to have gotten a piece by a very talented individual. 10/10 recommend.

The one thing I wanted for my birthday was a tattoo so I looked for places with good reviews and found this gem. I reached out to them and they were extremely nice and I decided to go for a walk in. My tattoo artist was Cam and he was amazing. He was so nice and made sure I was comfortable especially since it was my first. He was very light handed and I barely felt a thing and I am very happy with my results.

Wow where do I start? Ive never been in a tattoo shop because this was my wifes and my first tattoo at the age of 43! I can only imagine they should all be like this! Bobby was absolutely fantastic and explained everything to us and walked us through the process so we wouldnt be nervous .The owner was amazing too, and you can tell he really cares about his customers and his employees! All the staff were so helpful and accommodating to first timers! If you want a tattoo, whether youve got 50 or first one, you cant go wrong. We live in Austin, if I ever wanted to get another tattoo I would absolutely fly back here to get it without question!

I have went to this place several times in the last five years I have a tattoo no bigger than a piece of rice and they will always tell me it’s $600 my experience with this tattoo shop they do not like people of color warning if you’re black, do not go to the establishment, they will make you feel very uncomfortable. They do not want to touch black skin. I’m gonna make that clear and it’s the truth, do not go to this company. If you’re black, they will not repeat they will not touch black skin because they are very racist.

Jon Nelson is one of the most gifted tattoo artist I’ve ever had. Did a cover-up for me and then started my sleeve. My artist was Luke and he did an amazing job! 2 hour session a lot of ink for a small tat, and it’s healing amazingly, and so is my wifes. I was never really that sore after and never felt itchy. Just a little sore to the touch on the first night, after that I can’t even tell it’s there. He worked on me and my wife both are very clean very precise! We really are already considering next years plans for doing another 😁 👍👍👍 we’ll be in touch!! Thank you Luke for the very professional experience!
