CJ did an absolutely gorgeous Panthers Embroidery Tattoo. Plenty of communication prior to the appointment and prior to starting. Lots of communication throughout of where we were in the process and stretch breaks whenever I needed. I got a little stiff laying down but that’s what happens when you are prone for 10hrs, well worth it. Took phenomenal videos and pictures after, provided after care and tips. Genuinely great guy and phenomenal artist who needs more eyes on his work!

I stopped by Electrtic Street Tattoo to check out the shop and get some input on my idea. You can see that the shop is very clean and I really liked the vibe. CJ and @alexjoelletattooer were very welcoming and answered my questions. I booked my session with Alex who took my design and greatly improved on it. He was super patient with me, I had to reschedule my appointment a few times and he was really cool about it. Had 2 tattoos done by Riley. SHE IS AMAZING. Me and a group of my girls came in as walk ins, she brought our vision to a stencil. She has a light hand which made the experience so much better. She is also very pleasant and kind and will give you the best advice for your tattoo. Gave amazing after care instructions. Definitely highly recommend Riley and I will be coming back for future tattoos.

Alex Muniz at Electric Street tattoo did an awesome job on my custom tattoo. You can tell Alex takes great pride in his work. He was constantly improving on the design as we went which definitely showcased his talent and commitment to his craft. Frankie did this arm lettering for me as a walk in, it was super fast and easy. 2 days later I walked back in and asked for something I had seen on their displays so Alex came in on his day off to do both mine and my best friends. Best 7 hours spent- as my friend got a back piece as well. I’ll definitely be coming back from Orlando to get my whole leg done.

Electric Street is awesome! I have been going there for about a year now. The shop is incredibly clean, welcoming, and has some awesome decor. I look forward to every tattoo session there. Alex m is amazing!!Not only him but his whole shop!I came from another state and tsas throughout some of my supplies. I told alex my situation and he accommodated me immediately and even did not charge me!! On top of being an amazing artist, he is truly a exceptional businessman. Because the shop I called right before him.Which is FORMULA INK. Listen to My situation and then treated me like I havent been doing tattoos for over twenty years and im not an award nominated artist. Right there, they tried to give me the runaround like selling me some glue. Was going to not only affect their business model, but I dont know. Create a third World War. I was not treated fairly and I laughed as I exited the conversation mid.Sentence. I believe in KARMA, very, very much.Thats why I named my tattoo shop after it..! Those people didnt have one person in there.Getting a tattoo, and thats because of their s***** customer service! So for the next 5 years, I will redirect any person that I have in Broward County to that store, not just Alex M. Thank you guys for treating us like humans.Which some people forgot. We have to get back to treating each other.How we want to be treated.

Did a chest piece with nick, communication was great. The piece came out better then i could ever hope. Great clean work and at very fair price. Will definitely be going back to nick to continue my sleeves and back, I highly recommend him.

I was only in the area for spring break but they were amazing, understanding, and able to squeeze me in before I had to leave. They really captured what I wanted, the tattoo looks great, I was given great aftercare advice, and it was overall a great experience! The aesthetic inside the shop is 10/10. Nick L is an amazingly talented artist. He’s got a super gentle hand and is really easygoing and cool to talk to! Least intimidated I’ve ever felt in a predominately traditional tattoo shop lol. Tattoo turned out amazing Riley is a top notch artist, great attitude and exceptional artist! Amazing staff, fast yet precise. Only came for one but will be back in a couple days for another. Alex Muniz did an amazing job on my tattoo! I sent him an image of a woman on vintage glove box and he was able to bring it to life. He showed me his process in creating it, we picked colors together, and the tattoo is flawless! He’s a great conversationalist and had me cracking up. Great experience, and I can’t wait for the next!

I met Frankie at the Nashville Tattoo convention and could tell as soon as I saw her flash, I had to have a piece! Cool little shop in FTL. People were really really nice but my props go out to Alex Joelle. Found her on IG @alexjoelleatattooer and she responded within minutes. Set me up with an appointment and had something ready when I arrived. I was a bit indecisive about location and design but she obliged without a problem. I also liked that the artists collaborate and asked for each other’s opinion. You don’t always see that. Bathroom in the back. Diner next door. Good price. What more do you want? Send her a DM and make an appointment now you fool!!

This was my second time visiting Electric Street Tattoo. I had a couple of small/medium sized tattoos done right above my knees on my first visit, which could’ve been done by anybody really… nothing fancy, decent job in and out in less than two hours. I finally had the courage to sleeve up my left arm (which already had existing tattoos to begin with), it took 4 full sittings in a span of just over a month. The artists there recommended CJ to work on my requests as what I was looking for involved solely realism and fine lines. I was partnered with CJ for the consultation and ideas started to flow and before we know it I was on my first session. CJ truly took his time to perfect every detail of my sleeve and I would also add that his talent is nothing short of impressive. The shop is such a vibe (in a good way of course). Will definitely be revisiting in the near future!

Ive been searching for a tattoo artist in my area who can do a patch tattoo and I found one. CJ Ugarte is incredible. Nice guy, great work ethics, clean studio.... and I am so happy with the artwork on my leg.

Im sick to my stomach. Everyone whos seen this has said Why did you let them do that?!I went in after another shop stood me up. They told me they could not do exactly what I wanted,,, however they could create an AWESOME TATTOO, with bold vibrant colors that would be AMAZING for years to come. He took the ideas I had and made them his own, and I did like what he created. He had a great technique and very smooth hand on the line work. The color (far from BOLD or saturated), however, was very rough (and I sit like a rock), heavy bleeding, and cuts to my skin. One big eye, my neighbor said it looks like a Cyclops,the other eye barely any detail at all. The number of toes on the front feet,,,, WTH! Total omission of little toes on the right back leg, and what is that weird toe sticking out on the back left leg,,, the leg that looks like an Easter Egg. The light in the shop is HORRIBLE, and I did say I liked it, but anyone can see this review is legit! The artist took me outside and took photos, which he said he would text to me, but I guess after he saw how jacked up it was, he decided against it. I will not mention any names, as I truly enjoyed meeting the three artists who were there, and each had great personalities. The work, however, speaks for itself. This is with me for life, and that should be the main thing any artist should take into consideration if they are going to pursue this career.

I am new to the area and did a bunch of research online trying to find a tattoo shop to do a full traditional black and grey sleeve on my arm. I reached out to Electric Street through their website based on their great reviews and was contacted within a few hours by the owner, who then passed me on to Nick. It has been about a month since my first trip there and Nick has done a great job putting together all the pieces I had envisioned! My arm is really coming together exactly how I wanted it. Still a few more spots left to fill in, but I’m excited to go back every time and already starting to think about ideas for other open areas on my body. I would 100% recommend Nick and any of the other team members over at Electric Street. Definitely check them out!

I’ve been getting tattooed here for quite a few years. Alex, Nick, Frankie, and Josh all have multiple pieces on my body. All the artists are ready on time for every appointment I’ve made. Amazing shop!! My boyfriend and I impulsively decided to get tattoos for my birthday so we just walked in and Frankie and Nick took great care of us. They had our tats drawn up and us in our chairs within minutes, and even moved things around so we could sit together. They were both very friendly and professional, and took great care to keep everything clean. We both got little things done, so we were out of the shop in less than an hour and obsessed with our results. My boyfriend also discussed another piece he plans to have done in the future and Nick seemed very excited to help him get it drawn up. We will definitely be returning for more work in the future!!

Id never had an overwhelming desire for a tattoo, but knew if I were to get one it would have to be completely personal and full of meaning to me, something Id be proud to have until I died.....no need to show or display it just for displays sake.My wife passed away suddenly in May of 2019; she was the love of my life, and in November of 2020 I was suddenly inspired to have a memorial/tribute tattoo of her. She was a nurse, and like most nurses loved her work, cared beyond belief, was strong-willed and definitely a free spirit. Id always called her a gorgeous bombshell, and we both liked WWII era pinup art.....I especially love WWII bomber plane nose art, so I decided to have the artwork created around those genres.I found Electric Street Tattoo via an online merchant search app -- received several responses but Josh Cabrera was the only artist who showed real enthusiasm in creating what I wanted. He clearly saw my vision the same as I did, and after a bit of work on both our parts he came up with the artwork that Id imagined. Actually, far better than I imagined.The attached pic was taken immediately after Josh finished the work. It literally brought tears to my eyes. Hed created EXACTLY what I wanted; artwork that means the world to me and, I believe, my beloved wife. Ill be seeing Josh shortly to finish it with a bit of lettering to complete it. I absolutely love it artistically, and psychologically I find it very, very comforting having it as part of me. All of which is the result of Joshs genuine care for creating what I envisioned.On a scale of 1 to 10, I rate Electric Street Tattoo Co. a 50. Ft. Lauderdales best tattoo shop hands down. Joel did an amazing job on my head and neck. No gimmicks just awesome tattoos. If you are looking for discounts or cheap tattoos this isnt your place, but South Florida has plenty. Me and my best friend had the hardest time finding a tattoo place in the Fort Lauderdale area and we came across Calavera tattoos. Josh and Pablo were friendly, fast, reasonable on pricing and understanding with what we wanted! I will definitely come back here when I come back into town! You will not regret going here!

Im not one to leave reviews however I felt it was necessary as I chose this company based on their reviews. My son wanted to get his first tattoo and I wanted to add to my collection. We started researching back home in Canada as we had a March break trip set up in the Florida area. At the beginning of our trip we walked into this tattoo shop so that we can book our tattoo appointments towards the end of our vacation. The staff was absolutely friendly and welcoming. It turned out that all of the tattoo artists would not be available for when we wanted our tattoos as they were all gone to a tattoo convention. So they contacted the owner and had him reach out to me. Thats when I met Josh. He had reached out to one of his regulars and rescheduled a full day appointment that he had with him just to make sure he can get us done before we head back home. I must say this guy was salt of the earth. Reminded me of some of my buddies that Id be hanging with back at home. First and foremost his tattoo shop is one of the nicest shops Ive ever seen. You can tell just walking in that the decor throughout the place was done out of pure love for the business. Spending a few hours there we noticed that Josh leads with his heart first. Its not about the money with him. It was all about making sure we had the best artwork possible. We took his recommendations and away we went. I would strongly recommend Electric Street Tattoo to anyone. As a matter of fact I already have a few friends planning a trip down there to get some artwork done. This will be mine and my sons permanent tattoo shop. Just imagine.... we have to take a plane to get there. I have never been to electric street, but I can only imagine the stellar work that comes out of there. I have received 3 black and grey American traditional Tattoos from Alex Muniz, and have never been more impressed with such creativity and craftsmanship, and trusted an artist so much to make a masterpiece from scratch. His color work is amazing, and his black and grey tattoos are packed with details like no other.

This place rocks. Me and the wife have come down to fort Lauderdale 3 times for vacation. What started as a impulse has turned into a tradition. These guys have a great shop with amazing artists and an awesome vibe. The wife and I get a tattoo each time were down here and they always amaze. From a traditional black and white to a full color piece or even a fine line, they all turned out great. Very competitive pricing for the amazing service you get. We wont go anywhere else. If I could give them 6 starts I would.

Alex did the most beautiful pinup tattoo on the side of my ribs yesterday. It was such a great experience. I was nervous at first but she made the whole experience wonderful we joked and laughed the whole day. I have been extremely picky about picking an artist to do my Spiderman tattoo. Alex Muniz surpassed my expectations it is now my favorite tattoo I’ve ever had. Alex’s communication was better than any artist I’ve gone to as he made sure to create something I would be beyond happy with. Sorry for the late review. But I say better late than never!!! Anyways I like to say that my experience with Electric Street Tattoo. I was in the Fort Lauderdale area for a Muay Thai summit. I wanted to get a tattoo and it was my birthday week so tattoo ”am I right!” Saw a couple places, but nothing taught my eye. The as I google search more. I found Electric Street Tattoo. They take walk ins and the specialized in traditional tattoo. Which were pluses in my book. So I reach out got a message on the phone by the owner Josh. Told him that I was in town for a couple days and I wanted a tattoo. He asked me what I wanted told him that I wanted an alligator. He said I’ll see what I can do for you. Told if he could help me out I’d be much appreciated. Not think I would get one in such a short notice. But I was less than an hour got back to me. He said he got an artist to do that tattoo and be there at a certain time. I agree and was able to get to the shop. Gotta to say love the aesthetic of the shop. Josh the owner was very nice and accommodating. Told me that Alex Muniz my artist and that he’s a very experienced artist…… made this longer than I should. Lol!! But to make a long story short Alex Muniz is amazing artist and thank you for an awesome tattoo and conversation. I will definitely recommend Alex Muniz and also Electric Street Tattoo to anyone. Will definitely get another tattoo by Alex as well. Thanks again to The Electric Street Tattoo family!!

My friend and I were looking to get a friendship tattoo, after some research we came across Electric Street Tattoo. Came in and meet with Frankie. After several times of drawing up the sketch, we were happy and Frankie start with the tattooing. It came out absolutely beautiful, my friend and I are very happy with Frankie’s work! Hands down one of the best shops in South Florida. The shop is clean, the artists are all welcoming and great for conversations, and the line work has not been matched. Josh was able to take our original idea and make it even better with his sketch. Josh has the Midas touch when it comes to tattoos. I am a Big cry baby and his touch was so light and precise. This was my first tattoo and I got touch up’s next day and the work was extremely clean I was very impressed by the professionalism and attitude of the artists. The place was very neat, hygienic and clean. My tattoo was done by (Frankie W.) It was an amazing experience. Felt very comfortable, Bearable pain and Frankie was super friendly. The price was also very affordable!

Electric street Tattoo will not disappoint. My dad and I walked in for small matching tattoos, both of our firsts. Frankie worked with us to piece several of the components of the tattoo together. She made a mock up and then checked with us. I did want to change some spacing, which she did right away. She was patient and kind, and easy to work with! We are very pleased with the outcome, and I’ll be back to get number 2 in a couple months!! Six stars!!

The shop is really cool looking, with great music, and is perfectly clean and well organized. The entire team is friendly and makes you feel at home. This is my first piece in 10 years but I’ll be coming back soon for more work with Zach. I couldn’t recommend this place enough if you’re even just considering where to get your next tattoo.

Recently had the great pleasure of visiting Electric Street Tattoo, which is quite reasonably priced in comparison to some other places, and WOW!! I was always afraid of those horror stories where a place has poor cleanliness, bad manners, etcetera... but that is not a worry here, thankfully!There was a young artist by the name of Nick Lazcano who delivered in both quality and patience. I am not great with needles and the like, so it was nice to have someone who could understand that I wouldnt be the perfect canvas, so to speak. Nick helped me settle on the design of a piece that is rather personal to me and words cannot describe what this meant to me.Thank you, sir! I hope to one day come again.

Went to Frankie after seeing good Yelp reviews. Honestly thrilled with the tats, I got two and I’m in love. Very clean, professional, and very personable. The shop is nice and clean and there are quality portfolios to look over. The walls are covered in art. It’s honestly amazing. I will always come back here when I’m in Florida.

Id been looking for a new tattoo shop for a while when I came across Electric Street Tattoo on social media and was immediately impressed by the work shown on their Instagram. I entered a raffle for a tattoo that Nick Lazcano had designed and I won. I went in for my appointment and the shop looked so cute! I was greeted by Nick and another artist, they were both super friendly and helpful, and they made me feel really comfortable. Nick was mostly set up and ready when I arrived and got to work almost immediately. Nick was really gentle, I have a few tattoos of varying sizes and this was definitely the easiest to sit through. During my appointment I had the pleasure of chatting with a couple of the other artists and seeing them work. They were all so nice, and professional, I just felt right at home. As for my tattoo, its gorgeous. Ive been basically staring at it for a couple days and I am just blown away by how clean and crisp it is. The lines are super clean and the color is just so solid and bright. I dont think it could possibly be better. I love it. I cannot recommend Electric Street tattoo, and Nick Lazcano enough. I will 100% definitely be going back to Nick for my next tattoo!

This shop is top tier- great people and awesome work! Frankie was super nice and easy to work with. Visiting Florida and would 100% come back to this shop again. Nick and Nicole were really awesome too!

You want a new tattoo or even a fix, electric street tattoo is the place to go! I wish I could give more stars. Frankie is awesome and cool as heck 🔥 . Highly recommend- quick perfect lines with great pricing. Will return with more requests. Also atmosphere was very chill and positive energy felt. Love it and the music 🎶

Down in south Florida for a vacation and on a whim decided to get some work done and couldn’t be happier about how everything went down! Josh the owner was amazing and super inviting and awesome! Nick was the one who did the piece and he absolutely killed it! His passion for what he does makes it so easy to relax! When nicked finished I couldn’t get over how clean and dope it was! He gave me the best tattoo I’ve ever gotten and absolutely would fly back down just to get another one from him and anyone in that shop!
