I knew for over a year that Gia would be who Id get a memorial tattoo of my beautiful lil soul-kitty Girlcat from, it was just a matter of building up the nerve since its my first tattoo. Im so glad I finally did it! Gia is very knowledgable about her craft, professional, super friendly and fun to chat with, and—as you can tell from the results—INCREDIBLY talented. The personality she captures in her pet tattoos is unmatched, in my opinion! I couldnt decide on the exact photo because I had too many to choose from, so I left that up to her, as well as a custom frame. I love what she picked out and the frame she designed for me is exactly what I had in mind. As its my first tattoo, I have nothing to compare it to, but I felt the pain was minimal and her approach is gentle and well thought-out. Im a pretty anxious person and her calm demeanor helped keep me cool throughout. Its only a couple of days old now but so far the healing is going great! Cant recommend Gia enough!

I am so so happy with my decision to visit Gia at Heritage tattoo! She did amazing and was so sweet the entire time. Her talent is insane; I got 2 pet portraits on my arm and they look identical to the photo! She had a light touch and was very fast. I will definitely be making the trip to return to her for all my future tattoos🩷

Hands down the cleanest, most professional, absolutely top notch shop I’ve ever stepped foot in. At this point Anthony had finished a full arm sleeve and nearly a full leg of mine and I truly couldn’t be happier! Planning on continuing to get work done from him for years to come. His modern take on American Traditional work is truly second to none, and his versatility and quality of work are out of this world! Him and Greg have put together such an amazing shop, and if you’re looking for the best tattoos in Frederick, stop looking because you’ve found it!

She was very knowledgeable, extremely attentive, and so sweet throughout the entire appointment! She made my experience very comfortable and enjoyable. He is my only son so obviously that means a great deal to replicate his image. I know it is difficult to make a human image come to life in a tattoo and not very many artists can get it right. Gia is genuinely the most thorough, talented, and skilled tattoo artist I have ever been to. She was exceptionally receptive to my feedback on tattoo placement/sizing, and super patient and encouraging while making adjustments. The positioning turned out even better than I had imagined because of it. Heritage is a hidden gem in Frederick. The shop was clean and has a parking lot, which was very appreciated. Gia is an absolute beast, the level of detail she was able to get in a short time is truly amazing. Ive now got my new favorite tattoo, and Id recommend her to anyone!

Easy to find and super chill shop! Unless you count my micro bladed eyebrows, this was my first *real* tattoo. Gia was informative, clear, and personable. When I sat down she had two images prepared for me, based on my tattoo request form. She gave me time to choose which design to go with, as well as offered additional placement options and insight. She let me know everything she was doing as well as her plan of action so I could be aware of the process and her approach. Gia is truly a master of her craft and I am so in love with how this turned out. If you are thinking about booking a pet portrait with her, let this be your sign to do it! Gia is a wonderful human and talented artist. I will definitely return to her again!

Greg did a tattoo for me almost 5 years ago at another shop and the quality of work was awesome then and has only gotten even more impressive. Ive done 4 all day sessions now and I am in awe of how impressive the pieces have turned out. Greg has fantastic black and grey work and works with you to bring your ideas to life. The shop is clean, spacious and he and Anthony are both professional and down to earth people. I cant recommend Heritage Tattoo enough.

I had Anthony fix an older tattoo from another place that was uneven and after his quick and easy fix, it immediately looked 100% better! I had also gotten another during the same visit and the line work is 10/10. Everyone there is super friendly and the studio is beautiful and clean.

I’ve gotten tattoos from other artists, but Greg sets the standard for quality, understanding what the customer is looking for, and in professionalism. Simply put, you aren’t going to find a better artist in my opinion. Greg is versatile, he doesn’t rush appointments, he communicates really well, and is all business when it’s time to put the ink down. The only challenge I ever have is getting scheduled because he is so popular and has clientele that will follow him. He’s awesome!!!

Heritage is everything you want in a tattoo shop. It’s clean, has a very professional staff and they take great pride in their work. Greg worked with me on my design concept and did outstanding work. My friend and I last minute decided we wanted to get small tattoos. We came across this shop and were able to make an appointment. The shop was clean and felt very comfortable. Anthony listened to what we wanted and was able to correct the tattoos exactly how we envisioned them. Anthony did an amazing job and we would love to come back here again in the future.

I was tattooed by Anthony at a different shop and he was absolutely fantastic. It was my first tattoo and he was kind, knowledgeable, and incredibly helpful. I recently reached back out to Anthony for a tattoo, but ultimately decided to not to move forward and actually get inked. Again, Anthony was awesome and incredibly understanding. Great tattoo artist, and great business man.

I’ve been here for three all-day sessions and have two more scheduled, so I’ve had a lot of time in this shop. I appreciate the very calm atmosphere; lots of natural light, there’s actual breathing room between the stations so no one is shuffling too close, and the music isn’t too loud. Very clean, great vibe especially if you want a quieter sensory experience while being tattooed. Looking forward to more visits here soon.
