My tattoo at the Time Bomb shop was fantastic. I got tattooed by Alex and I can say all the best about him. Very interesting guy who does his job professionally. Alex listened to me nicely and did everything as we agreed. I am very pleased with how the tattoo turned out. The shop looks great, every part is interesting and I feel like I was in a museum. It is very clean and the people who work there are very kind and friendly. I want to say that it was very pleasant and I even got a drink. I want to recommend this tattoo shop and I hope to come again, and I hope Alex will be free and do one more tatoo for me! Thank you guys! All my recommendations!

When our dog passed away, the owners, Gordon and Ava were quick to get us an appointment. Gordon did a wonderful job on my tattoo and theyre a great bunch of people to work with.

I was skeptical of going but I glad I did took my daughter for her 17th birthday and Christa was very good talk to her the whole time made sure we asked questions and was comfortable the front stuff was a pleasure great conversation nose piercing is wht she got

This is one of THE BEST experiences Ive had getting tattooed. I got a chest piece, and was a little apprehensive as Ive never gotten a tattoo in such a vulnerable place that would require me to be shirtless. Kyle was very respectful, consistently checking in with me to make sure I felt comfortable and respected. He also took his time, explained his process and truly worked in such a way that showed his experience and talent. The tattoo turned out absolutely beautiful and I couldnt be more happy. I will most definitely be returning for any future tattoos/piercings as I cant fully express the level of professionalism and kindness this shop shows. I came here for the first time for my daughters piercing and Pari was GREAT!! She was very knowledgeable about the piercing and after care ensuring that we understood everything. We didnt feel rushed and she was very sweet! We will definitely be back for more services by Pari!!!

My daughter wanted her nose peirced, everyone was professional and nice from the first call. Even called the day of to let me know the parking garage was closed that day. Christie worked great with her and was also very professional.

My experience is as a parent of a teenager who wanted an ear piercing. Everyone was very helpful in explaining what documents were necessary since my daughter is a minor.The place is very clean, smells great actually. Once it was time for the piercing, the facility was very clean and comfortable. The process of selecting the area she wanted for her ear piercing was helpful and easy for her to choose exactly what she wanted.We a great experience and we will definitely visit again. In addition to the piercings, they have talented tattoo artists (who were doing beautiful work) and as their sign states, they have many curiosities!There is a.nice selection of jewelry along with various prints and paintings for sell. If you like steam punk, they have some really neat stuff to see on the jewelry display cabinet as well.One final thought, the process for my daughters piercing and care for the new pierced ear was very clear and helpful. We learned what to expect and how to keep it clean and healthy.

I have been planning a memorial tattoo for my little dog Chester for almost 2 years. Everyone there was extremely nice to me. I sat in Captain Gordon’s chair for 7 hours. He did an amazing job. He made sure to bring my little guy back to life. Joe from the front desk checked on me throughout my time to make sure I was hydrated. You can tell this is more than a team but they treat each other like family.

I had my Medusa piercing done by Pari on Monday. She was so nice and sweet, she was very efficient and did a great job. My piercing barely hurt. She was very thorough with going over my care instructions. Everyone I. The shop was so nice. Definitely going to be my go to piercer.

Time Bomb Tattoo has come through again with a great tattoo experience!I had the pleasure of working with Markuss this time, who was absolutely incredible! I was very nervous coming in as I wanted a tattoo that went over my spine and Markuss immediately put me at ease with not only his kindness but also his professionalism! He helped me settle on the size of my design and he talked with me throughout the experience to keep my mind busy.Not only did the tattoo turn out amazing and even better than I had anticipated, but Markuss technique made the process far less painful than it had to be!I also appreciated the availibility of evening hours to accomodate my schedule :)

I moved to this area not too long ago and I was looking for a skilled artist for a while before stepping foot in time bomb tattoo. The staff was very friendly, explained everything well and their scheduling process is very up to speed with text notifications and email reminders, loved it! Not to mention, Jesse, my artist, who was super professional! He took the time to listen to what I wanted and made my vision come true in color. He even sent me detailed videos with my design and explained his thoughts on each part. I loved that that too! Further, when I came to my appointment, I was part of the process all the way. We picked the right colors together, my opinion was included in all the decision making and Jesse took his time to listen to my every concern patiently. The tattoo took longer (6 hrs) than we bought anticipated, but I am so glad I hung in there. It turned out beautiful and it’s the most beautiful piece of art that covers my body this far. Despite the long time tattooing Jesse was patient and friendly and was really invested in seeing my vision through. I would highly recommend this studio and this artist as I felt right at home with this crew and the service was exceptional!

I just tried this place out for the first time yesterday and I am absolutely impressed! I got tattooed by Chris and he was professional, informative, and my tattoo looks phenomenal! Price was also amazing, I definitely recommend it! Will update this review in a week or so with photo of tattoo.

As an older tattoo virgin, I must stress that everyone was friendly, welcoming, and knowledgeable. I did not feel the least bit out of place even though several of the staff were less than half my age. Capt.Gordon did a wonderful job discussing design ideas, raising good points to consider regarding element choices and placement, photo realistic vs not, and setting expectations for how the tattoo would age. All of this was done before the appointment and at the start of the appointment before any application was begun. Top all of this off with absolutely stunning art I will enjoy displaying for the rest of my life. Thank you, Capt.Gordon and everyone at Time Bomb Tattoos! 🙏💗

Pricey, but Id rather pay for a professional. My youngest had her ears done when she was two and we just brought my oldest in for her second lobe piercing at 13. Both experiences were great. Very clean and professional.

Fantastic service— Kyle (guest artist) was very kind and courteous and helpful when we went in on short notice. He got us seen in 3 days for two tattoos. He went into detail explaining his technique and why he did what he did, extremely professional! The staff was upbeat and friendly, all around great experience!

Ive had a great deal of ink done here and have been pleased every time. Not only are they clean and professional, they are wonder artists and people. My recent tattoo was done by Aleks and it is OUSTANDING.

My family and I have gotten multiple tattoos here over the years. Our daughter just had her ears pierced for the first time here yesterday. The artists and piercers are all very welcoming and friendly. The shop is very clean and has tons of unique items to look at while waiting

I cannot recommend this place enough! Super clean, super friendly, and just such an unique place. Every staff member is passionate about tattoos and body modification. The staff here take your safety and comfort seriously, which makes the experience so much smoother. Each artist has a personal style they excel at, but they are all incredibly talented. The lobby, a.k.a. their curiosities shop, is full of neat stuff, too!

I worked with Colin to create a sleeve using The Last of Us tattoo and flowers. He did a amazing job. I am extremely happy and we arent even finished. I know once its all complete, Ill have the sickest arm sleeve around! 🤗 💕

He was so patient and I really appreciate the time he took to explain every step of the process and make sure I was happy with the placement and design. I could have gone to the mall to save a buck on my nose piercing, but I chose Time Bomb because they are the best. They took care of me, from enthusiastically recommending what piercing would look and feel best (I really had no idea) to piercing me with minimal pain, no scarring, and no infection. They gave me detailed instructions on how to care for it after. Also, I was quite late to my appointment, but they still took me and I was in and out in 10 minutes. Additionally, everyone working there was warm and welcoming. I am so glad I went to Time Bomb and have scheduled another piercing with them!

Very nice atmosphere I go there to get help changing my nose ring and to buy new ones.Everyone is very helpful in helping me find something I like. A little pricey but a variety of jewelry and if I find something I like, I don’t mind spending a little extra.

I had Captain Gordon do a rework of a tattoo Id had done about 10 years ago that I was never fully happy with. The tattoo in question is a Sakura tree on my right shoulder and previously, the coloration and shape were just not exactly what Ive been hoping for. Another artist at a different shop in Frederick recommended that I have the old piece lasered off and indicated that reworking the piece the way Id hoped was insurmountable. Not only did Captain Gordon assure me that this was well within his wheelhouse but he assured that this would be easy for him and I had a great experience: he is friendly, professional, and absolutely delivered on his promise! I was able to get an appointment on short notice and they were very friendly. My tattoo artist was Matt and he was extremely friendly, patient (because I never 100% know what I want, so I change my mind frequently), accommodating, and talented! I have gotten several tattoos from this place and I’ve never been disappointed. The place is clean and their equipment and practices appear to always be evolving and keeping up with the best. Highly recommend them!

Ive had an awesome experience at Time Bomb every time I have stopped in and gotten any work done. The entire place is super clean, very professional and totally my vibe. The front of the house crew is awesome and super responsive and helpful. All of the artists and crew that I have spoken to have been super cool. I wanted to give a shoutout to Kyle who was my artist and has done 3 pieces for me now. Every single piece has turned out great and has healed up wonderfully. The pieces I had done by him have all been very detailed and have super fine/thin lines and not a single one has blown out or faded, and they look awesome. Kyle does an amazing job at working on a design with you and reworking any reference photos you provide into something awesome, and every time he has drawn up a design after I sent over any ideas/references I was blown away with how cool and intricate the designs have been, even adding in details that he knew I would vibe with that I may have had in my head but couldnt quite express. Truly an awesome dude, very talented and always great conversation and helpful with brainstorming possible ideas for future pieces. I highly recommend Time Bomb.

Amazing customer service!! 10/10I went in Oct 2023 and upgraded a few of my jewelry pieces to 14k gold. Today, Jan 2024, one of my new pieces broke and they told me to come in and replaced it totally for free. THIS is the kind of customer service I love to see! Great job Time Bomb!

I had an awesome experience at Time Bomb Tattoos & Curiosities. I walked in just to check it out and left with a helix piercing and a new hair pin! The whole staff was welcoming. The establishment was clean, professional, and super fun to look around! I highly recommend them.

What a beautiful, unique and interesting shop! I decided to get my ears pierced, and I am so glad I chose to come here. Christie was a pleasure to work with and made sure I was super comfortable with the process. She guided me through the whole procedure and made sure I was happy with my piercing locations before she made them. It was almost painless! Christie even took the time to educate me about how to best handle aftercare for my healing process.

I got a double mid-helix piercing here last summer, and Christie was awesome and super friendly. But I also have purchased a change of earrings since its healed up. What is great is I could purchase just the pin and not new posts, and they even wrote on the baggie which color, size, and style it was, so if I came back to purchase more similar ones for my other piercings, I knew which ones to get.

We also had to dispute it with the bank for the refund there has not been any refund given back yet. the card I used was charged $168!!! there was no stenciling invloved she drew it in me after proceding to say idk where you want to put all of them i said i want them all throughout my whole forarm in a chaotic order so it would looked sketched on. There was multiple people emailing and asking about the reference photo shoes 25 sets of 5 and the agreed price was 125 for a 1.5 hour session theres no excuse how unprofessional my experience was and how I wasnt even listen to after trying to communicate multiple times trying not to make a big deal out of it because they are just lines .i got the rest done for 60 dollars by another artist that felt bad for me this shouldnt happen at any tatto place everThe miscommunication between me and the so called travel artist was so bad I even told her to her face what I wanted and everything but she ignored me and did wat was agreed on the email then I offered to pay more for more services and they made me pay the extra and didnt do anything I had to say something and was refused service and after I talked to the manager she blames it on the emails when the tattoo artist has discussed to me what I want shaves my whole forarm and does 20 min of work when I scheduled for an 1.5 hour appt for some sets of talleys they put 5 on me instead of 25 sets of 5 absoulty ridiculous no one in there right mind should Pay 150 dollars with a 15%tip for 25 lines thats are half an inch each on ur body its pathetic and its a shame they are letting under qualified people to do this to you for there own benefit

Ive gotten five of my tattoos here, and will keep coming back for the clean environment, courteous and friendly staff, and most importantly the incredible artists. Colin was affable and enthusiastic throughout, made sure I was comfortable and checked in with me frequently over the 3.5-hour process (hes got great taste in music, too!). Highly recommended.

The people here are amazing, very friendly, very helpful. Miranda did a great job explaining how the tattoo placement and coloring would work against the skin color. John covered an initial poorly done tattoo with a design created by my relatives in honor of my mom. I had worn the poor tattoo of my mom’s name for some years. It was my first and only tattoo. John covered it nicely and made it stand out. It will remain my only tattoo that honors my mom.

@Jesse Mine - so glad I did my research this guy is SO TALENTED! The devil is in the details and Jesse is so dedicated to my piece he tattooed me for almost 7 hours and we have 2 more sessions scheduled to finish up the half sleeve. Andy is an amazing tattoo artist! He was kind and made a real effort to ensure I was comfortable throughout my cover-up session. As I sat in an extremely clean and organized space provided proper aftercare instructions. Andy definitely knows what’s he’s doing and is beyond great at it. I went in yesterday to get my Medusa piercing. I havent been pierced since I was 18 months old for my ears, so I was terrified. The woman that did my piercing was absolutely sweet, and helped me so much when I felt lightheaded afterwards. Ill never go anywhere else for a piercing! And the piercing looks incredible!

My piercing experience was great! Im typically pretty scared about needles, but she made the experience great and fun. I felt welcomed and the piercer was very professional. in the future I will absolutely get more piercings here!

I absolutely love my girl Christie. I went and got my nipples pierced--a very intimate thing to do as Im sure youre aware--and homegirl took care of me. I was super nervous to get them done but she talked to me throughout the whole experience, whether it was about the piercings or just life. She made me feel so comfortable (or as comfortable as someone can be in this situation) and welcomed which I appreciated incredibly.She locked/closed all the doors and blinds to protect my own privacy (which I completely forgot about in the moment), she answered all of my questions, and humored my nervous rambling.On top of her sociability she damn well knows how to handle a needle. Shes quick, efficient, and smooth. Ive gotten pierced by a few people in my life and I genuinely appreciate her work ethic the most. She is my favorite piercer and I cannot love this woman enough!

The space was super clean and all of my pre-appointment interactions with staff were very positive. I got my earlobes pierced by Pari and I would have had no idea she was an apprentice unless I had been explicitly told. She was very friendly and professional, and it was obvious how much she cared about my safety and satisfaction with her work. Aftercare instructions were very clear. Definitely on the expensive side but worth it in my opinion; my experience could not have been better.

Fast, friendly and professional. Really appreciated that theyre taking covid seriously, and have taken several measures to ensure staff and customers are safe.The piercing itself took all of maybe two minutes to clean, mark and poke, once the paperwork was out of the way. Granted, I was only getting a basic lobe done yesterday but, compared to the botched job I received on my other ear at Piercing Pagoda a few decades back, Id recommend a qualified piercer, every time.They also had a decent selection of starting jewelry, at reasonable prices. If I decide to get more work done in the future, Ill definitely be giving these guys a call.

Literally best experience for getting my nose pierced. My best friend and I did it together. Entire thing start to finish took less than 1hr. The girl up front took the time to explain the different jewelry and help us pick it out, then Christie was fun, chill and took the time to listen to our long term goal of wearing hoop jewelry and making sure when they pierced the hole would be in the right placement. Shop was clean, staff friendly, 10/10 will be coming back for jewelry change/future piercings!

One of a kind gem of a studio. The oddities alone are reason enough for a visit, and the staff was very friendly, patient, and efficient. Ive used their services a few times, and the most recent visit being tattoo work that was the first 12 hours of a shichibu style piece over 2 days and I am quite pleased with the quality, creativity, and amount of canvas covered in my chair time. All of the other work Ive ever witnessed while there had really clean lines and perfectly worked saturation. Highly recommend the services. A truly rare find for the tri-state area.

Got my first tattoo this last Valentines day at Time Bomb Tattoos. My artist was Chris, and he helped ease my nervousness by explaining everything and being gentle. I spent several months trying to find a place that would do a small tattoo (2 inches), but no place was willing to do it for me. Finally, I decided to give them a call and submit my request. I was contacted very quickly, and my request for a small tattoo was accepted. Needless to say, my tattoo came out great and is exactly what I wanted. The whole experience was a lot of fun. I thought I would just get one tattoo, this tattoo, in my whole life, and thats it. Now Im planning my second one, and I would definitely go back to Time Bomb Tattoos to get it done there. I would highly recommend this place.

Im halfway thought my third tattoo with Colin, and every one has been a great experience. The shop is always clean and spotless, front desk staff is very friendly and helpful, and Colin is a fantastic artist and tattooer.

Everyone was extremely genuine. Parrish was super kind and funny. The employees who greeted me and signed me in were very nice and helpful and helped me feel relaxed for my tattoo. Parrish did an amazing job and I’m really happy I decided to get my first tattoo here. I also got my second helix and forward helix pierced. I have been to Time Bomb twice now. The first tattoo there I had done with Miranda and the second was today with Sarah. Both times I had a great experience. Everyone in the shop is so warm and welcoming. I just love the vibe there! Sarah took the idea I wanted and just made it perfect. I am so happy! The attention to detail, cleanliness and customer service is superb. They also have great jewelry there and I would recommend them to anyone for piercings as well! Go- you won’t be disappointed. Recently had my 5th tattoo and I can finally say I have found someone I want to go back to for my future tattoos. I had never found someone that I thought did a really amazing job and that I had just a really fun experience with...until John. He designed the tattoo with my input, did an amazing job on the tiny details, and the whole time just chatted with me like an old friend and sang along to his eclectic play list! Went here for a jewelry change and three new piercings. Got my nose piercing changed, and 3 new ear piercings. They were so professional and safe with COVID-19. I got appointment confirmations to my email and text beforehand and they made sure everything was clean. Christie did a fantastic job with the piercing and making sure I liked everything and felt safe and was just so sweet. Overall they had great customer service and I will definitely be coming back here for future piercings/tattoos.

Time Bomb Tattoos did a wonderful job with a full back piece. Gordon was flawless in his work and also very personable and a pleasure to work with. I have worked with him on multiple occasions now, and it is completely worth the 4-hour drive for me to have such excellent and personalized service.

My sister and I both got tattoos done by Makoto, they were professional, courteous, and meticulous. We just got lettering, but the lines were perfect and the finished tattoo was clean, and gorgeous. They even let us pick the music during our appointment, which was silly but an added bonus that made our experience a little more fun. I had a tongue piercing done a few years ago by a piercer who no longer works there, so I trusted the shop since I had no issues with that piercing. I went back recently because I had a septum piercing botched by a different shop, and Captain Gordon and the current piercer (I didn’t catch her name!) were wonderful about explaining the situation to me. They ended up removing the piercing, explaining what went wrong and how to avoid that issue in the future, and then refused to charge me for helping me out. They were reluctant to accept a tip from me, and even sent me the photos of the botched piercing they took so I could show evidence to the other shop and get my money back. I have sent anybody in the area—and anybody willing to make the trip—to this shop whenever I have the chance to talk about them. They’re absolutely fantastic!

I decided to go to Time Bomb because of the positive reviews, and let me just say i am very glad I did. The staff is very friendly and kind. I was lucky enough to get their guest artist which was Aleks and he did an incredible job. I would highly suggest this place to anyone.

First of all they are great, i came in and they took my temperature, they sanitized my phone, card, ID and car keys, I washed my hands and they explained everything before it happened.I got my piercings done by Christie, she was so professional and so nice! I came in for the first time today to get a septum piercing. Was greeted with a warm welcome from the guy at the front desk. Jasper, who did the piercing itself was really great, welcoming, funny and made me feel comfortable before it. I’ve gone there three different times. The first time I got a piercing and it was pleasant. The second time I got a tattoo by a woman, started with an S, who works there. I was there twenty minutes early, but ended up waiting an hour because she didn’t notice I was there despite me checking in and being in like the entire time and decided to give the precious client a second tattoo when I was scheduled. I didn’t complain then, but then we get to the tattoo. Didn’t look anything like the picture or the stencil and ended up crooked and sloppy. I have multiple tattoos, I know how to take care of them, but this one turned out awful. Still left a tip but honestly I wouldn’t recommend the service because I have to get the tattoo covered up, which is much harder to do. Third visit because I believe in second chances, I got my ears double pierced. I have multiple piercings and know how to take care of them, but the backs fell off of the titanium earrings I bought there after I got home, and I had to go and find replacements, later the piercings got infected and are now scar tissue. All my other piercings I’ve gotten have been just fine. So 1/3 good experiences. Nice decor, nice owner, not the best place to go in town. Hopefully this helps someone. Absolutely would not get another tattoo here.

Right when you walk in the staff is very helpful and attentive. i was going in for getting both nostrils pierced and a septum jewelry change. i was offered many options for jewelry and staff even asked if i had any allergies to metals. Dani and her assistant were the ones to pierce me and they did a amazing job. took there time making sure everything was even and very clean. loved the way it came out couldnt have done it any more perfect, LOVE IT! overall staff is great there and services are very professional and you definitely are getting a quality service.

I had my septum pierced by an apprentice, Parri, and let me tell you that I wouldn’t have known any difference if she hadn’t told me. Parri is extremely professional and takes great care of her work environment. She takes time to listen to her clients to do everything she can to achieve the look they are going for. She is thorough and thoughtful, always wanting to make sure the client is ready for each step and follows their needs. Highly recommend you give Parri a call for any piercing needs!!

I had my first tattoo done by Sarah here this past weekend and she was so amazing to work with. I went in with a general idea of what I wanted and she quickly helped me figure out exactly what I was I was going for. She was so kind, patient and the artwork is amazing! I will certainly be coming back to her soon and have already recommended her to friends. The rest of the staff was also incredibly friendly and welcoming. Very quick with email replies which made the whole process much less stressful!

My first time here I had a tattoo retouched by Sara and she did a great job. Ive been back since then 4 times for 4 piercings with Danni. She also did a great job and was very patient with me. It was my first piercing and she walked me through the process and aftercare. Very nice people! Would definitely recommend! :)

Went here today never been this shop before. It was my first time. The staff was so super friendly. Went over all piercings with me. I waited my turn went in 2 girls I believe one was named Dani can’t remeber other ones name. But these two girls were absolutely wonderful. There personality’s beyond amazing! I recently got a tattoo and my overall experience was quite wonderful. This was my first tattoo and my artists name was Jasmina. She answered all my questions that I had about my tattoo and really helped to make me feel comfortable as I was quite nervous. The tattoo was really pretty and I was soooo happy with the results. I could not stop smiling. Aside from that all the staff was super friendly and the vibe was great. Everything is super clean inside which is super important. My daughter has her ears pierced at age 8 with virtually no pain. Its more expensive than an earring shop, but better quality jewelry and way more expertise. Christie was great. We even went back last month and she and I both got second piercings in our lobes.Going back with friends for tattoos. (Husband already got one there)

I got my first tattoo here last weekend and I truly had the best experience! I was super nervous and my artist, Makoto, was patient and really made me feel comfortable throughout the entire process. They let me pick the music to play during the session which really helped and was a nice touch. She did an amazing job and I could not be happier with how the tattoo turned out! Just got my 2nd piece finished / re-done. Had a tattoo that was done over a decade ago that Andy brought new life to with a fresh coat and added some color. Was able to get in with a same day apt and was in and out in about an hour with what needed to be done.I have more work I want to get done and will absolutely be back to get it knocked out. Just got my mom her first tattoo here, for mother’s day, and it was perfect! We had Matt, and he was so patient and calm- my mother is shy and it was hard for her to ask him to move the piece when we were figuring out the placement, but Matt was extremely accommodating and reassuring. He offered his artistic advice without being pushy.The parlor was very clean and everyone who worked there was so sweet. We honestly couldn’t be happier and I’m so grateful to the staff for making this such an awesome and stress free process for her! We will definitely be coming back here for future tattoos.

Sarah did my first tattoo a few weeks ago. I had such a great experience. I made an appointment, so she was ready as soon as I got there. She guided me in picking a font and suggested the best size and exact location. I am so excited with how it turned out. First time here, came in as a walk in for a daith piercing. They were incredibly busy, but everyone that I dealt with was very helpful and friendly. I was checked in quickly and only had to wait about 20 minutes to see Danni. The whole place seemed very clean and well organized. Danni was AMAZING- very sweet and funny. She explained the process prior to and during my piercing (which was super quick!), and made sure I understood how to care for it (not my first piercing, but its been a while, so it was a nice refresher!). Overall, I had a great experience and will definitely be back!

Had some piercings done here, and they were great! The piercer took good care of me and gave thorough aftercare instructions, as well as assuring me that everything was healing fine during a jewelry change. Everyone is friendly, and the jewelry proces are affordable. They still have some covid procedures in place, but I personally find that a good thing. Overall great people, great prices, and wild Curiosities (the giraffe head is my favorite. Howd they even get him in there??)

I sincerely could not have hoped for a better experience. The staff were all kind and helpful. I received a septum piercing from Danni and it could not have gone better. She worked around my crooked nose and gave me a straight piercing in the sweet spot - it hardly hurt at all. My husband and I both got tattoos from Matt. He was awesome! Listened to what we wanted and drew up a few designs for us a lot faster that we imagined. We made an appointment with him for the tattoos and he estimated about an hour for each tattoo. He made sure to take his time and wanted us to be 100% satisfied. I have been to Time Bomb many times over the years for tattoos, piercings of my own, and piercings for my daughters (ears) as well. I love this shop- and all their employees are friendly, professional, very talented, and highly trained. The shop is always super clean, and well organized. On this particular day, I came in to have my lip repierced. I didn’t realize with Covid that appointments were required! However, they were very accommodating and able to fit me into their schedule right away. I was brought in, had my personal items placed in a UV sanitizer, and asked to wash my hands prior to entering the shop (very impressed!). One of the shop employees was also cleaning behind me, and then the high traffic areas of the shop while I was there (again very impressed!!). We picked out the jewelry I wanted from their vast selection, and then the piercer (Jasper) went back to the piercing room to clean it, and sanitize and prepare the equipment and jewelry. He was vey professional, explained the whole process, everything he was using and doing at each step and why, and my piercing was done quickly and painlessly. He was very gentle placing the jewelry too! I was given verbal, written, and emailed aftercare instructions; and advised to contact the shop with ANY questions or concerns. As always, a truly fantastic experience at Time Bomb, and I’ll remain a regular and dedicated customer here as long as they are open! In fact, I’m returning tomorrow for a dermal piercing that Ive been wanting too! Cannot recommend this shop enough!

My first interactions with the shop were through email and I received quick and really informative responses. I ended up not being able to wait to get the two cartilage piercings I wanted by appointment so I walked in on a Sunday, in the late afternoon. Everyone was really helpful and made sure I was well informed. My piercing went very well. Tommy was helpful in showing me a lot of pictures of work he had previously done to make sure we placed the piercings where I wanted. He walked me through each step of the procedure and helped me stay calm with breathing exercises while he did the actual piercings. He has a sarcastic wit and laid back personality and clearly loves his work. The shop is very clean and there is a lot of really cool stuff to look at if you have to wait. They even helped me save some money! In addition to the cartilage piercings, I also wanted to have my ear lobes repierced, I hadnt worn earrings in a year or more and could no longer put earrings in. They suggested a method of reopening the original canals first...and it worked. So instead of having to get a total of four piercings, I only had to get two. To me that shows a deep level of care for their customers. They put me over profit and I have to say I really appreciate it. I absolutely would go to this shop again!

I went in for a nostril piercing and everything was great! It’s a really interesting shop with very nice and attentive employees. I am a minor so just make sure to bring the required ID if you wanna get anything done. Lina was my piercer and she did a really good job at explaining everything to me. This place was very clean and i got in and out of there in a matter of 20 minutes. Lina opened everything in front of me and answered all my questions, she made sure i was comfortable with what was going on and was super kind overall. Great piercing, great service, great pricing. i would 100% recommend this place to anyone.

Had ears pierced by Jasper back in August. Super smooth and easy process. Then went back to change the size of my gauge recently. Unfortunately I dont remember the name of the piercer. I know she works on Saturdays. For the most part it was smooth. Had a little hiccups with one ear due to the bar being screwed on too tight, but she was very gentle still getting it off. Both made me feel very comfortable and explained everything that they were going to do. Ill be returning here when its time for my tattoo.

Great, attentive customer service all around here. Angel did my ear piercing with exact placement, and she is very easy to talk to about questions or concerns. The procedure was quick with relatively little pain. Its clear that cleanliness is a priority here. Angel used two pairs of gloves: one for the prep and one for my actual piercing. I would highly recommend her!

I had a couple ear cartilage piercings (tragus and flat) done several days ago with Danni and the experience was nothing short of fantastic. She was very friendly, patient and knowledgeable. She explained the process and was very diligent in emphasizing post piercing instructions. So far, I have not had any issues with them. I will be coming back in 8 weeks for my backings shortened and will have my other ear accessorized by her.

As a tattoo virgin, I couldnt have asked for a better experience than the one I had at Time Bomb. I scheduled my appointment ahead of time via phone and the staff was extremely punctual and detailed in their follow-ups. I wanted a tattoo of the band Smashing Pumpkins logo, and the staff seemed really excited once I came in. I subtly noticed they started playing their music in the background, which was so cool... it seriously felt like a personalized appointment. Sarah was my tattoo artist and knowing I was a first-timer, she was great about walking me through each and every step. She offered several size and positioning options for my tattoo and once she applied the template, she gave me plenty of time to decide if it was what I wanted. Ill admit I was starting to get cold feet, and she offered to let me sleep on it and come in the next day to see her. It was very clear she respected my wishes and didnt want to push me into anything. I sucked it up and went through with it, and Im so glad I did! Sarah and the staff were a joy to converse with as I was getting my tattoo done and made me feel so at ease. I seriously couldnt have asked for a better experience; my wife agreed and shes had two tattoos done at other locations. Thank you Sarah and the Time Bomb staff! I will certainly be back if I catch the bug.

Been coming here for all piercing needs. They did our ten year old and they were so patient and explained everything. I had a tragus removed (not pierced by timebomb) and they were so gentle and fit me in right away. Thank you!!!!

Got a nose piercing a week ago. They asked about skin sensitivities and even educated me about metals I might react to for my other piercings. The staff could tell I was nervous but everyone was really nice and reassuring! My piercer was incredibly professional and answered all of my questions. Highly recommended!

I want to start by saying that my piercer Dani was lovely. Very sweet. Very professional. Piercing turned out beautifully. My biggest beef was that they never gave me a price up front. I got one lobe piercing. ONE. And three VERY SMALL pieces of jewelry. That I later researched and found that they maybe cost $3-5 each. Dani did a great job. I was just not expecting to walk out $100 poorer for one damn lobe piercing. If I’d known that ahead of time I likely would have held off or gone elsewhere. If anyone would like a copy of my ‘receipt’ please let me know. I’ll pm it to you. I will say that one of the pieces of jewelry they replaced was slightly defective. And they were on top of that. I’d also say, if I’d known ahead of time that it was going to cost me that much, I would have done the darn thing myself and ordered the jewelry on line.

Everyone at this shop is so nice, and in terms of customer service they are lovely. The shop itself is so fun, they sell lots of awesome jewelry and curiosities. In general, I love this shop and that’s why I go. However, I did not have a great time with my ear piercing. It was my first time ever getting a piercing, and I wanted to have it done right the first time. I just got lobe piercings. My first piercer was lovely and the whole experience was great, but unfortunately the posts she gave me for my piercings were too short. My ears swelled. The back of one of them even became imbedded in my earlobe, and the other one was starting to as well. I came into the shop again to get this fixed, and the gentleman who fixed them was also a super cool guy. It was a smooth process, though painful, but he got the imbedded piercing out. However, it had to heal and be re-pierced. That was fine. We gave it some time, and then I came back in to get it re-pierced. Again, smooth process, however I noticed immediately afterwards that it seemed rather crooked, but being naive to piercings I shrugged it off. I’ve finally just switched out my original jewelry (it’s been nearly 4 months now) and during that process came to realize that the re-pierced ear was extremely crooked, to the point of it being difficult to even get a new earring in. Maybe he did this to avoid scar tissue? If that was the case, a heads up would’ve been great.I wanted to give this shop 5 stars because I honestly really like the shop and those who work there, but this hasn’t been a great experience, and now I have a crooked piercing.

Parrish did my piercing and she was fantastic! I got my second lobes pierced as well as a piercing change on my helix. It was extremely quick and painless! Parrish was soooo nice and the pricing was great!

Went to get my helix redone and get a daith piercing. All of the staff I interacted with were incredibly friendly and knowledgeable. Danni was very comforting and easy to talk to while doing my piercings. Plus they have lots of interesting stuff to look at if you have to wait a bit! Cant wait to go back and get some of their awesome jewelry once my ears heal.

Back today for another tattoo. Love this place. First class all the way. The staff are professional, knowledgeable, and will answer any question you have. Andy is AMAZING. I got a memorial tattoo for my grandfather and he surpassed my expectations. You can tell he cares about pleasing his customers and is dedicated to accomplishing what you desire, which is hard to come by now a days in any profession. I’ve been tattooed by a couple of other artists at other shops and I can say for certain that Andy will be my go to artist for any tattoo I will get in the future.10/10 recommend. Absolutely wonderful. They were so kind and accommodating. They also answered all my questions and concerns, very informative. If youre looking for a strictly professional stab and go this is not the place; They can definitely be professional and formal, but it is not this shops nature. All the staff is as quirky as their merchandise and will make all of us oddballs feel like we fit right in. I will definitely be returning for any piercing and tattoo needs. I recommend Joy, shes a guest artist and a beautiful soul that will scold you with words of wisdom then walk you to your car and give you an honest hug. The pierecer Thomas was an absolute howl, kept me entertained with anecdotes and keeps your mind off the impending tissue penetration!!!! Too detailed? Anyways. If youre looking for a place as quirky as you are, this shop will welcome you with open arms.Caution: Lots of taxidermy, but I was advised they ALL died of natural causes.... except the giraffe.... nobody is quite sure what happened to him, but hes well loved.

This parlour has a warm, welcoming staff and a cool steampunk vibe going on. Staff in the shop had a good sense of humor, were relaxed but attentive to customer needs, and appeared to enjoy talking and getting to know their customers.I got two tattoos from Lou and they came out perfectly. He knew exactly what I wanted because he took the time to listen to me and go over the tattoo. My tattoos are phenomenal. My tattoos took approximately 2+ hours and Lou checked in regularly to make sure I didnt need anything and that I was comfortable.I also got a second ear piercing from Danni who did a fantastic job, she was highly professional, and told me what was going to happen at every step. This was great because you cant really see whats going on until you get in front of a mirror and see the final result.

After letting the tattoo heal, I have changed my opinion on the work. The shading is a little more than desired, and yes, I know what youre going to say, but it is a hand tattoo, and this can happen. I have other tattoos on my hands, and they have not turned out like this. When u spend good money on a tattoo, you expect it to be up to your standards, and you are wearing the businesss work for all to see.Im disappointed and will have to get it fixed.

I have an amazing artist who knows how to please- with his tasty imagination, He lays Ink quickly and SAFELY, my 4th appointment on this tattoo below( in 3 months ) In addition, Ive seen several of the artists there- I think they all are very creative and experienced.This is a second review- as Google is giving me a hard time to rate them again. I GIVE THEM 100 STARS. Several additions to my arm have been made, and now I have had the pleasure to have Christy do several piercings, which came out beautifully. She is also very clean, professional, organized, and knows what she is doing. Did I mention friendly? The entire staff makes you feel very welcomed- which makes all the difference when you walk into a Tattoo shop.Another really killer tattoo by Collin which I will also post as well.Additional reveiw, after several apointments, I am always greeted with friendly staff, Christie has done several beautiful peircings including faith, forward, double heilix, tragus, bridge, septum, nose, and possibly others. I have never had any problems, she is always very fun, CLEAN, knowledged, experienced, and staff is very up to date on all COVID protocols, expect professionalism !!!

My friend and I went for piercings and we were really impressed with how clean everything was!! There are lots of COVID protocols in place and everyone was so friendly. Our piercer was so funny and also did a great job explaining everything for us. Were already talking about what we want to have done next!

I am so so so happy with the work my husband and I had done!! We gave Sara a sketch with some requests for changes and she did more than I ever thought possible. Sara was efficient, professional, and amazing at listening to our concerns and giving us ideas. I am so pleased, and we are definitely going back here for our next tattoos. Tonight Danni pierced my nostril and she was absolutely amazing. She has such a fantastic personality and is super friendly and made the piercing experience go quick and easy! She helped me pick a good spot on my nose for future hoops and measured it out to ensure it would be exactly what I wanted. Will definitely be pierced by her again and would recommend Time Bomb 100%! 😊💕

Time bomb is by far my favorite place to get piercings. I’ve had 10+ piercings done here, all turn out great and exactly how I want. Both Christie and Jasper are awesome at what they do and overall are super cool people.

Amazing experience! I had been watching their Instagram page for a while and decided Brad’s style matches what I was looking for with my second tattoo.A lot of tattoo shops are not welcoming and awkward but as soon as I entered I was greeted with a very helpful and happy receptionist.I had an easy consultation and was able to communicate my desires via email as well which was great for me - a busy mother of toddlers and a baby! I felt at ease in the very clean and professional environment.Brad listened to all my wants and together we determined the best piece. 4.5 hours of a very easy session and my piece is amazing! So realistic and breathtaking. I will absolutely come back to Timebomb for my next tattoo!5 stars all around!

Awesome experience. I got 2 piercings and will return for more. The man who helped me (his name escapes me) was very knowledgeable and talked to me the whole time to distract me from the pain. He did a very good job. His station was well organized and very clean. He took his time and didnt rush even though he had people waiting for him. Affordable and would highly recommend!

Ive been getting my tattoos done by Sarah for some time now, and shes absolutely stellar. Wonderful light touch, and so wonderfully artistic. My pack piece is quite colorful and prominent, and Ive taken to carrying business cards for her so I can just hand them out instead of trying to give people the information. Danni has done my septum and so I knew when my niece wanted her ears pierced, I had to take her to Time Bomb.Danni was utterly outstanding. I love that there is no horrid piercing gun that I had been traumatized with as a child, and that she asked if my niece consented to the piercing and wouldnt do it if she didnt want it done. My niece was so scared! Her mother got a piercing to show her what would happen, and Danni was so kind and patient. When she got the nerve up to finally let the needle do its business, she got very authoritative just DO it already! Six year olds mean serious business.I cant thank the staff at Time Bomb enough, especially Danni and Sarah, for their amazing service. I cant recommend either of them enough.

I went in for a mundane ear piercing--my first ever. Im nearly 40, but the piercer treated me with the same gentleness and expertise Im sure she uses with the kids that come through. The whole experience was great: the staff was kind and knowledgeable and the place was fastidiously clean. I cant recommend it highly enough.

This place is special to me. Time bomb is where I got my first tattoo. Very friendly guys. Love to assist you in what you want and what your looking for. Good location in downtown Fredrick. Some guys have been here for years. They want you to have the tattoo that you’d want to keep for a lifetime. It’s a shop I’d highly recommend for any first timers. I know I enjoyed it coming here. Clean, great bunch, great service for sure.

Today I walked in and asked to get my nose pierced. The staff was very welcoming and friendly. Tom was the one who pierced my nose. He was very nice and was making jokes. He made my friend and I feel very comfortable. He opened all the packaging in front of us. He made sure everything was sterile. He asked if were he marked the dot at was right. He asked if I was planning on wearing a hoop and then explained that if I did I would have to go with a larger hoop because of the shape of my nose. He went over the cleaning steps and gave me a paper that explains the steps. They also emailed me the after care steps as well. I feel that Tom covered all the bases. I had my nose pierced before and Tom was way more helpful. I was in and out within 15 to 20 minutes and that was only because he just took a customer right before I walked in, which was and is not a problem to me. They also had things there that you could look at and buy while you wait. I highly recommend this tattoo shop.

Took my almost 13 year old daughter in to get her ears pierced a second time today. Terrific experience and Christie was the bomb! Super sweet and really helped my daughter relax. Cannot recommend enough! We will be back for sure!

I have a scar on my foot that Ive been trying cover forever. I scheduled an appointment with Jesse, based on his profile of being detailed oriented with his designs. I was reluctant to see how he planned to design my tattoo, but after providing him with my vision based on designs I found on Pinterest, he took all the designs and used small aspects of them to cover my scar and even added some additional color contrast to the design that I wasnt expecting, but absolutely loved. Jesse was patient, personable and funny and bonus, he has an awesome neo-soul, evanescence type vibe with his play list that made my experience even more delightful. I will definitely be scheduling with him again as I want him to expand the tattoo up my leg.

Edit: after 8 tattoos with Sarah, I took the leap and had a helix piercing done with Lina. Shes training as a piercer and she has an amazing manner with clients. My piercing was overseen by Brad and it came out beautifully. Love, love, love timebomb!!Great as always!! I cant say enough good things about the shop and their team, especially Sarah!!

Ive gotten both a tattoo, and piercing here. I absolutely love it. Everyone is nice, helpful, and very talented. I also love how clean everything is. The prices they charge are definitely reasonable for the quality of service youll receive. I DEFINITELY recommend this place. The size and location he suggested looks way better than what I had in mind. Spotlessly clean, well run, professional, efficient and super friendly staff. i witnessed ongoing and thorough sanitizing of all surfaces and equipment during my almost 2- hour visit- as a nurse, this is critical to me. Pricing is clear up front, fair and the tattoo was executed flawlessly. maybe NOT painlessly, but well worth the final product. will definitely refer friends to go here for any tattoos!

Love love love my nose piercing from Christie. She was wonderful!! She really knows what she is doing!! The staff were so helpful with making sure I got the best piece of jewelry since I am sensitive to certain metals.

I go to Time Bomb for nose piercing. Danni is the best. She is personable and very patient. Whenever I have to have an MRI, I go to Dannii and she takes my piercings out. I go back, and she puts everything back on. Shes terrific! All of the staff are very nice. Its always clean and welcoming.

I got my nose pierced by Christie. She did a wonderful job. I love it!! She was soooo sweet. She answered all of my questions and eased my fears. When I accidentally yanked on my piercing and was worried. They saw me the same day I called. Christie cleaned it and and gave me some advice on helping the swelling go down. Worked great!!

Got my second tattoo yesterday with Miranda! I walked in and they were very welcoming and lovely! I highly recommend Miranda as an artist. She did a wonderful maple leaf for me and the color and lines are perfect! I could not be any more happy with this piece. Miranda has a nice steady hand and really helps get your mind off of the tattoo pain. The price was just right for a softball size color tattoo. Love her and the shop! :)

Matt was an amazing artist. He did my cat memorial tattoo with flowers and it came out amazing!! He was very quick and detailed and what I thought would’ve been a 4 hour tattoo turned into 2 and a half 3 hour tattoo. The price was amazing and customer service made it all the worth while. If your in town and want a beautiful piece go to Time Bomb and have make do a piece for you!!

I wanted a portrait tattoo in honor of my grandfather who passed away in 2013. I searched everywhere local for me since I live in Hanover. I kept searching and finally came across Time Bomb. I set up a consolation with Brad got a quote and felt comfortable from the start. Since I hate talking on the phone I was very happy I was able to set everything up via email. This was going to be a 3 to 4 hour tattoo and very detailed. Since it was only my second tattoo ever I was more and more nervous. Brad gave me plenty of options for my tattoo and explained everything to me in detail. Not only was the actual tattooing comfortable and relaxed but it also was very clean. The whole place is extremely clean. Brad did an absolutely amazing job. I love my tattoo and find myself staring at it in the mirror I seriously didnt even expect it to look as good as it turned out. I didnt react much in the shop because I didnt want to tear up there. But its healing very well and the instructions I was provided were very helpful! I have already referred several friends to Brad and believe at least one has already scheduled an appointment. If I get another tattoo in the future there will be no question where I will be going.

Along with being a great place to have art placed on your body its also a great place for piercings etc. Shop is clean and the staff is friendly and helpful. Last but not least is the curiosity part of the business... There are definitely some interesting and curious art and objects to view and purchase.

When I decided to get my first tattoo, I researched area tattoo shops, and Time Bomb Tattoos & Curiosities seemed head and shoulders above the others in terms of the environment, customer service and quality of work. My experience confirmed that their high ratings were absolutely earned and justified!I consulted with Sarah regarding a design for a St. James Cross that I wanted for my right upper arm. Taking a few pictures and designs of various St. James Crosses that I gave Sarah, she developed a stencil that was perfectly sized and designed as I wanted. I had a Daith Piercing done on Saturday...I am a long time migraine sufferer and have heard that this may help. The shop was clean and the staff was great. The individuals doing the piercing may me feel relaxed. Next will be another tattoo!!

I was googling around for a well priced shop with a high rating for my first body mod piercing (thats not ears or face)I originally messaged them on Facebook for advice and pricing, everyone here is super friendly and supportive. I felt really awkward going in and asking but the staff was reassuring and could tell I was nervous, they were super helpful, calmed me down, and basically told me theres nothing to be embarrassed about. So yeah, I kind of love it here.

Every time I go to Timebomb, my experience is even better. I have now had 3 tattoos and 2 piercings done. Today, I had my best experience ever. I got matching tattoos with my best friend of 14 years. We had an appointment with Matt today, and he was absolutely phenomenal! He was so friendly, professional, and the pieces we got had a added touch that made them pop and look extraordinary. I am already planning my next tattoo with Matt, and I encourage everyone to see him for their next tatt!

We have been to Time Bomb multiple times over the past 6-7 years for both tattoos and piercings. LOVE everyone that works there. Tonight, we saw Danni for a Tragus piercing. She was wonderful. Told me just what to expect and didnt sugar coat anything. Super nice and cant wait to go back again!

Walked in on 1/17/17 around 7 PM and got a rook piercing. Tom was incredibly personable and made me feel calm throughout the entire process. He was also very thorough with hygiene and safety. The space was beautifully decorated and clean. I would definitely go back for another piercing and tattoo, too!

This place has taken all the necessary measure you can think of to be clean during covid!!! I get all my piercings here and they are amazing! From the moment you step in front of the charming Downtown Historic Frederick location of Time Bomb Tattoos and Curiosities, you are greeted by a steampunk Giraffe named Nigel. As you enter, you are greeted by a warm welcome by one of the front desk counter employees. They were busy but someone was there to at least ask me what I needed help with.I went in to get my eyebrow, helix, and 2 lobe piercings done. The piercing process was very smooth and easy going. All my piercings were being re-pierced so I knew it was going to hurt more. When I actually got everything pierced, it didn’t hurt anywhere near as much as I thought.Personally, I’ve never been tattooed at Time Bomb. Based off of my research of the artists, I would definitely trust a few of the artists in the photorealistic style that I prefer.If you are looking for any cool oddities or gifts, their retail side has a pretty vast selection of awesome products.Definitely highly recommend.

I took my daughter to get her ear pierced. Jasper was very professional and directed all steps towards my daughter prior to doing anything. He was amazing! Unfortunately my daughter didnt complete the task at hand hahaha, but when she is older and ready we definitely plan to return to Jasper. I even told my husband I might call back and schedule some peircings with Jasper for myself!

Went there the first time for a smaller peace. Colin was amazing and even it was only a small peace, it looks so good, that I have to keep staring at it because of the way he did the linings.Now I had a bigger peace of Art done. You cant even imagine what a wonderful job he did. I am so so happy and pleased.Everybody in this Studio is very friendly and easily to speak to and not make you feel out oi f place in any way. You easy get involved in conversations and feel home. When you there for a couple of hours or more, you can see the magic and talents of this tattoo artists putting on peoples bodies.

I got my second tattoo at Time Bomb today a wooden cross tattoo from guest artist Cable. He did a terrific job. The price was reasonable. The environment was clean and sterile. The procedure was super clean. I thought it would be very painful, it was not. Im not saying there wasnt any discomfort or pain there was a little. But keep in mind youre getting a tattoo there will be some discomfort. I will likely go back and get another at some point in the future. I highly recommend them!

Got last minute matching tattoos with a friend by a guest artist (Glenn). He was great and the staff was very nice. The lobby has a bunch of great things to look at and gorgeous jewelry! Definitely recommend!
