Got my little ones earlobes pierced today. The piercer was so kind and patient with her and so quick! Very clean and professional. I will come back for any future piercings!

If you’re thinking about coming here I would say be very careful. I went in wanting a quote around my wrist and the artist was, Joseph Khan, I sent him what I wanted he showed my different fonts and printed out the one I liked. When he showed me what he had printed I told him there was a typo. It said “I the get” he fixed it right away and reprinted the correct one “I get the” he showed it to me to assure me he had the right one and it was perfect. Well, apparently he threw away the wrong one and ended up tattooing “I the get” I noticed it on my way home and took a picture and sent it to him right away. He seemed sincerely apologetic and offered to pay to have it removed and set up my consultation and had me send over the quote. We’ll come time for my appointment to start the removal process I find out the services have not been paid for. I called him, texted him even went to the shop and they were no help. I would’ve settled with getting my money back but not even that. To say I’m disappointed is an understatement!

Lovely experience with getting the tattoo by Isaac , friendly and pleasant guy , did his work in no time and explained nicely of after care and Dina too very sweet and fun to talk to …. Very clean and professional approach over all of the staff

I have gotten 4 tattoos from Steve Lopez now and with each one I am more impressed by his work. Steves work has exceeded all of my expectations. Of the tattoos, Steve has done 2 matching rose tattoos for me and both my sons. He also did an awesome job on my boys footprints. I would, and have recommended Steve to anyone I know looking to have a high quality tattoo. Steve is also working with me to correct another artists (different shop) work so that I can love that tattoo, especially since it is a memorial tattoo for my younger son. I cannot wait to get my next tattoo from Steve.

I got my labret pierced a few months ago, I honestly should’ve stopped the guy and walked out so that’s my bad but his station was so dirty and everything was all over the tables, rushed the entire process, didn’t use a clamp, he pierced me crooked and kept dropping the ball and couldn’t get it on.

I took my husband today to get a tattoo for his birthday and decided last minute to get a tattoo in honor of my dad that passed, I can’t say enough good things about this place and Isaac! Both tattoos came out absolutely beautiful and I still can’t stop staring at mine, I’m so glad we found him and red wave! I’ve never been more in love with a tattoo and I have quite a few of them. Thank you so much and I’m going to recommend this place to everyone I know.

I went to Nate for the recent tattoos. Hes a great artist and I always enjoy sessions with him.

My daughter went in to get her septum pierced, Joseph Khan assured us that he was capable to do it. After the piercing was done we noticed it was crooked, he adjusted/bent the jewelry to make it look straight. He said we could go home and let it heal a bit and if it still doesn’t look right, to come back and he will re-pierce free of charge. After several months we called back and scheduled, he completely blew us off. Would not even come out to talk to us. We never got refunded, it was horrible customer service, and we ended up having to get the septum completely re-pierced by someone else from another company.

I went to red wave tattoo to get a cross tattoo I have wanted for the last 4-5 years. It is a very basic tattoo, basically pulled off of a photo and edited very slightly. I went to Isaac. Isaac was kind, and seem to do a great job. I did take a look at his work before going to the tattoo place, and it seemed like he was an amazing artist. However, after removing the saniderm about four or five days after getting the tattoo, I realized that what I thought was the ink bleeding, was really tattoo blow out. Considering that my tattoo was not very large and was very simple, it’s extremely disappointing. I was wanting a thin and dainty tattoo, and now at some point, I will have to pay for tattoo removal to clean up the blow out. It’s disappointing considering that this artist has done some great work, so I don’t really understand why such a simple tattoo was messed up. I did reach out to Isaac about this issue, and he offered to do a touchup. But honestly I’m not really trusting that he would do a good job and wouldn’t make it worse. (First photo is immediately after getting it done, and second photo is today, exactly 3 weeks after having it done).

I stopped in 3 different times wanting to make an appointment to get a fairly large piece done and all 3 times I was told my artist would call me in a “couple” hours, days went by and never received a call back or text. Each time was over a 40 mile round trip for me just to be ignored! Called the shop just to hear “oh he will call you” lol nope been over 2 weeks and still waiting for that call to schedule! Going elsewhere!

Went in to have my spider bites. Peter was extremely sweet and patient with me. Had to do two separate appointments since I couldn’t sit through the whole thing at once; both times were in and out. Best piercer I’ve managed to find in Fresno in terms of cleanliness, price and placement.

Peter was really sanitary and professional when servicing. Did a walk-in for a labret piercing and had me fill out the paperwork needed and I was in & out of the shop in less than half an hour. My piercing had no issues with the healing as well, would recommend him for his professionalism and good work in this industry.

This place is fantastic. Friendly. Got a quick b&w ankle owl. Nate was great. Planning on going back

Peter is an amazing piercer and was very patient with my snakebites placements and let me keep fixing them to suit my face. when i had extra swelling a few days later he immediately let me come in and get longer bars. he is now my go to piercer after months of searching and trying‼️

My husband has a piercing artist he likes to go to..named John. His last piercing was an industrial, and there was little to no bleeding. The staff was personable and friendly. The price is slightly higher for the piercings; however, the professionalism is worth the cost. I would highly recommend this place for piercings.

I came in to RedWave for a cartilage piercing, Peter was great on being sanitary and sterile. Environment was very comfortable, professionalism was on point! I would definitely come back for another piercing and will recommend Peter for piercings to all my friends!

Waited about 20 minutes in the lobby before I left due to not being helped, not the friendliest of services. Staff seemed preoccupied with other things even though I was the only one there lol. Other than that the shop looked nice, clean and well maintained.

Just got started on a huge cover-up. Rico is a class act. Professional and excellent at what he does. Wouldnt recommend anyone else. If youre anywhere close to Fresno and you want a tattoo from a real professional. Ask for Rico. Its worth the wait!

I had the piercer do the 3rd holes in my ear lobes. When he shoved the needle through it got stuck on both ears and he didn’t seem confident he knew his trade. I bled all over the place and for 3 days after. I followed all the care instructions and 4 months later they never healed so I have had to remove them. They still bled on and of up until the day I removed them. Our piercer also was shaking the entire time and looked like he was exhausted.

Update:One of the front pieces of the earrings fell out from one of my girls earrings and it was going to be $20 to get a replacement. These guys may do good work but theyre price gouging. I can buy a set of 7 on Amazon for less than they were going to charge me for one piece.______________________________________________________________________I was wanting to get my oldest two daughters ears pierced and shopped around. Red Wave was a location I had found on my own and then they came recommended by a friend. When we got in, we were immediately welcomed and they were able to get us in pretty quickly as a walk-in.We got to the back and my daughters were hesitant but my oldest had requested it so she went first. John was very gentle and very patient and waited until she was ready. Though you could tell it hurt, she did well. My second was much more apprehensive but said she would do it. She got the first one done and then began to clam up and fight against everything. We attempted multiple different ways of calming her and John again was incredibly patient and just waited for her to be ready.Finally, I decided to hold her while he did the piercing and he very quickly got the second one in. His work was very good and very professional.The only reason why I give it 4 stars rather than 5 is that when we got to the check out, the price was double what I was quoted on the phone. I was told $40 per set and when we got there it was $40 per lobe. Thats a big difference and I would have chosen a different parlor if I had known that. I take part of the blame for not confirming the price before we even began. However, I asked two or three different ways on the phone so I assumed it would be correct.If youre looking for quality and professionalism, they definitely have it, but they are quite pricey. Im shocked that I paid $160 just to get first time piercings on two of my girls.

I went in with my own artwork, however I had asked the Tattoo ARTIST to help me make it a little more wispy or softer if you will. I had made the appointment weeks in advance and remained in contact sending several pictures and ides trying to make it perfect. All I ever received back was rad. I was apprehensive about going in, however my husband and I participated in the Toys for Tots special they ran and I had 2 gift certificates about to expire. I decided to just go ahead with the tattoo. Worst mistake of my life! The artist sat me in a metal folding chair, proceeded to inform me about how mad he was about a previous customer complaining about the cost of their tattoo and how he is the only one who ever does anything at that shop. I tried to make small talk, I asked him what his favorite things are to draw/tattoo and in the middle of mine he declares he does not like doing superhero stuff.... Being that my tattoo was superhero related, that would have been good to know from the start. By the time he was done, there was blood running down my arm and it continued to bleed until the next day. I have never bled from any tattoo. When it was all said and done, the artist missed several spots, messed up the pattern and did not even use the right colors! He changed my tattoo alright but not for the better. It was terrible. I was in complete shock. A month and a half later I went to another artist and was able to repair the damage. He said I have a lot of scar tissue because the other guy dug into my skin. Do not go to Red Wave. If you do, do not get Will as your artist. You will regret it. There are far more better places in Fresno.

Had earlobes sewn up by John Garcia. We made an appointment 3 days prior for 6pm. We got there 10 minutes before 6pm . 2 people walked in wanting thier nose pierced and I didn’t hear what the other wanted. He took the walk ins before us not wanting to lose their money. I think this was poor planning on his end and not good customer service for me. He should have told them to come back later or make an appointment like we did. To say the least he did not take us in until 7pm His room where he works from was dusty and dirty. The room should be clean and sanitary especially for what he does. John did a very good job on the stitching of the earlobes and the price was very reasonable.

My tattoo was done well with little bleeding. They were friendly, respected my time, and were very detailed oriented. My tattoo artist told me $150 per hour, but charged me an extra $50 for not that much color. The additional $50 charge is what took off a star for me. Other than that, everything went well.

Ive been here twice now: once getting my lobes repierced, and once to fix helix piercings done elsewhere. The other piercer used studs that were too short and my ears were growing over the backs of them. I was DREADING getting them fixed, but John was quick and very gentle—I was expecting an 8 out of 10 in pain and it was more like a 3 or 4. After this Ill be coming back to Red Wave for any future piercings; I just trust them to do a solid job of it.

I have had a wonderful experience with Peter the piercer. He he did my spider bites and double helix. Great professional and calming atmosphere. Recommend 100%

Wood is great. I generally try to have my tattoo ready for him but he does a great job making it even better.My husband died a few months ago & I had a couple quotes in my husbands handwriting. It looks just like what I wanted.My husband was a musician and I made a guitar shape with words. That came out great too. Its not quite done yet but I know it will be good. Going to add shading and color.These are all my original quotes

Hands down would recommend this place to anyone, specifically Richard George. Hes done my husbands and my past few tattoos. His work is always on point and hes pretty fast. Glad to have found a talented artist and overall awesome person to get work from.

I’ve had work done by Will and Richard. They obviously do different styles but they are both awesome! My most recent piece was done by Richard and I gotta say he is the absolute best. I will continue to go to this shop for tattoo only.

Really nice place, sterilized everything and place was clean, John pierced my eyebrow and was very professional and communicated with me through every step, and explained aftercare instructions very well. Would definitely go there again if I ever want to get another piercing.

Its a production shop and Rico does production work; if he wasnt a production shop he would work by himself and the other artist they have working there are even worse. They dont take the time to fill in thier art properly because they are tired from working all day or they have customers ahead of you. I recommend any one to go to a shop that the artist doesnt over book themselves and takes their time to work on you instead of being in a rush. The art that you want on your body should look like the art they draw on paper or canvas. Also look at the details of how straight the lines are and the filling in with color which youll see how choppy the lines are and the filling of the coloring is the same . I regret getting any art from that place and recommend any to go outside of Fresno or to someone that takes pride in their Art.

Expensive. I found out after that the same things I had done I could do anywhere for cheaper. Also they had me wait 70 minutes when I was told it would be 20 minutes.

I arrived at this place last week for a cut for my 9 year old son, one of the employees was more than evident that he did not have the experience for said cut and he gave my son several wounds on his head in addition to lasting more than a hour making said cut. Bad service and bad experience for my son. ☹️
