This place is amazing. Ive been getting piercings done for over a decade and I have never been to a better place than this one. The prices are tad on high side, however, if you can afford it, it is 100% worth it. They are so friendly and so patient. I got my nose pierced on both sides and my piercer had all the other employees take a look to make sure they were even. Im pretty sure they use an autoclave to sterilize the jewelry before hand, which Ive only ever seen used on surgical tools AND she used iodine in addition to rubbing alcohol. All this extra care and consideration has made the healing process the easiest I have ever had with a piercing. I do not leave reviews often but this place definitely deserves it.

Very professional but laid back!! this was my first piercing where i didn’t feel like a nuisance to the staff :) I came to get my vertical labret re-done. Willow did my piercing and she was very kind and talked me through her personal piercing process. I requested to be pierced with a smaller size than what she typically does, and she accommodated me which I appreciated.Overall a very clean and friendly place. I would 100% come back for another piercing or recommend them to someone else.

10/10 everyone was friendly and made us feel very welcome! If you’re looking for somewhere clean to get a piercing or tattoo this is the place to go! They did amazing on my 7 yr old! She said they made her feel confident to the point where she sat alone and got her ears done!

I’ve been going here for years and have had a great experience every time.This time, I felt like the piercer with blue and purple hair was kind of rude. Maybe they had had a long day. While it is definitely a green flag to be turned away from getting a piercing for anatomy or healing reasons, you can be turned away nicely. The person with the blue and purple hair was kind of rude and repetitive. But, giving them the benefit of the doubt, maybe they had a long day.Everyone else in the shop treated me nicely and I’ve had great experiences with Anatomic Piercing every other time.

Extremely professional, well versed in their craft, taking the time to perfect the experience, and ensure that they aren’t here to just take your money for a piercing that isn’t going to last months or years down the road. I would HIGHLY recommend this shop, and any of the piercers to anyone. An excellent experience, Willow, was a delight.

We recently visited for my guys daughter to get her nose pierced & Willow was absolutely amazing! Not only is she knowledgeable but amazing with teenagers,the shop is exquisite & clean..we will be back in a couple weeks! :)

I went there for nipple piercings and was told my body couldnt anatomically accept them. Honestly, I did not trust what the employee was saying and it seemed she was just trying to go home. Because of the vibe I decided to walk down to BodyTech and see what they say. They did it in 10min and they came out perfect. The whole situation made me feel dismissed.

I had the most amazing experience here! I was very nervous walking in, but the whole staff is so kind and knowledgeable, they put me at ease immediately. Willow was my piercer. She did such an amazing job of letting me know what to expect, and what was best for my anatomy. I felt very heard, and not rushed at all. I love my end result. And I expect to go back for more in the future. Absolutely worth every penny. Id recommend this shop to anyone looking to get pierced, or just looking to buy some beautiful new jewelry. I absolutely love coming here! The shop is always clean, employees attend to your every need. They will discuss piercing options at length before even considering piercing you. They are up front about pricing and will work with you on your budget. If they don’t feel like you have the right anatomy for a piercing, they will give you a second or third option.This is the only shop in Gainesville that I trust. The technician was thorough about the procedure and after care. Regardless of how many times I’ve gone back, they still go through the step-by-step process of what I should do after being pierced and how to take care of my new piece.If you ever have any questions, don’t be afraid to ask they’re happy to answer even the most mundane questions. I usually go back in a couple weeks after getting pierced to make sure that everything is healing fine. At that point they’ll set an appointment to size down my jewelry.Overall be prepared to bring enough money for your jewelry, service charge, and a tip. All of the employees will take great care of you, ensuring that your piercing is done the right way the first time! They are willing to work with you and give their honest thoughts and opinions. Hands down the best piercing shop i have ever been too. Clean, great selection of jewelry, kind and knowledgeable staff. Eyebrow was done there, and they helped me get the perfect size studs for my second lobe piercings. 10/10 if you need holes put in your body, will for sure be back.

I felt super comfortable and welcome here. I had previously gotten piercings from another shop and had constant issues with them. At Anatomic, my piercer was incredibly professional and empathetic. I also barely felt a thing! The piercing itself was super smooth and quick. 100% recommend.

I had an amazing experience with having my septum pierced by Jeanette! The staff was so nice; Jeanette was very knowledgeable and made me feel so at ease during the whole process! She was fantastic at explaining each step so I was prepared for what was going to happen. You will probably spend more than what you would at a tattoo/piercing shop but it is absolutely worth it for the service, safety and better quality jewelry! I will always recommend Anatomic to anyone looking to get a piercing :)

The shop was nice and welcoming. They have high quality jewelry and fair pricing. My piercer was Jeanette and she was absolutely wonderful! She was very knowledgeable and made me feel really comfortable. I came in with a daith piercing in mind, but they educated me on the risks with my particular ear architecture and convinced me it wouldnt be the best option for me. So we instead went with a faux rook, and I am very pleased with the result! Will definitely be back and highly recommend.

Went in for a Septum piercing unsure if I had the correct anatomy for that piercing. The staff were super knowledgeable and helped to determine I unfortunately do not have the correct anatomy to have a comfortable septum. Ended up settling on a philtrum instead and absolutely love it, probably more than I would have loved the septum! Willow was super awesome, with keeping me calm and collected through the process from start to finish. Highly recommend!

Went in to get my septum pierced for my birthday. Long story short they pierced it up too high in my cartilage. The pain was so bad when they did it I immediately passed out and then threw up. The piercing, being through my cartilage in the wrong location, never healed leaving me in pain for months until I finally took it out. Now I’m not sure if I can ever get it pierced again from the scar tissue that’s left behind in my nose. Please save yourself the pain and possible wrong placement and go somewhere else. As a piercer you should know where is too high for a septum and they went and pieces it there anyways. I would never recommend this place to anyone else. Horrible place, horrible piercers.

I had a great experience getting my nostril piercing with Jeanette! 🥰💜 The shop and piercing area was very clean. Everyone was so nice and helpful! I was extremely comfortable having it done there. And Im so happy with the placement and jewelry. Its been about 7 weeks since it was done and its healing with no issues.The jewelry is a little pricey, but youre definitely paying for quality, safe metals, with industry certifications, etc, which I completely understand. So, make sure you plan for the cost of jewelry, and the optional tip and cleansing spray (which I found was actually a little cheaper than Amazon when I checked).When I went in for my checkup, I had questions about various ear piercings and jewelry costs (which I let them know when I set the appointment). Jeanette was very helpful in explaining what could be done and what the jewelry might cost and possible total cost for piercings and jewelry, so I now have a clearer idea of what to plan for. I feel like if you have any questions, they would be more than happy to help! (Keep in mind, I set appointments during the holidays, and it wasnt super busy.)

The only way I can describe this shop is magical 😍 I went in just to get one of my rings changed, but I left with so much knowledge and insight for my upcoming piercing and the jewelry is incredible! I really felt like they gave me the best advice for my anatomy and they wont tell you something will work if it wont. I have 14 piercings, two of which I have gotten from JJ over the past two years, A++ experience. Leann and Carter are also gems. When I had asked about a certain piercing, they said no due to my anatomy, A HUGE GREEN FLAG, and worked with me to find a piercing I love sooooo much more. They know what they are doing, and will treat you with respect and honesty. Did a great job. Was nervous about getting my ears pierced but they were pros and talk me through the simple process and was quick will go again!

I took my daughter here for here for her second ear piercing. They were extremely knowledgeable, helpful, & thorough. They measured her ear multiple times to make sure everything was perfect and her earring post was the right length and explained every part of the process to her as they went. They even did a free consult for my youngest daughter while we were there about piercing around some serious scar tissue from a previous botched piercing job done at a different facility.

I would like to start with the good things about this shop:-everyone was nice in the shop-very clean-lots of jewelryNow here’s my assessment, coming from someone who has been pierced many times and has been in and out of piercing/tattoo shops.When booking an appointment online, you are told that the service cost for a nose piercing is $40, which is fair and I understand that jewelry will add to that cost. I went in expecting my total to be around $60 because that’s what my previous nose piercing cost, using surgical steel. When I came in for my appointment, I was only told the prices of the jewelry, no one mentioned what the metal was, so at this moment I don’t know what metal is in my nose, nor do I know what gauge they pierced me with. I felt that the piercers weren’t very thorough and were more interested in standing and talking amongst themselves. The piercing came out to be $83 total, which is pretty STEEP for a nose piercing. My piercer was so sweet and I felt comfortable with her, I just felt like there should have been WAY more communication about healing, the jewelry, etc…I don’t even know how to take this piercing out because they pierced with threaded jewelry, I’m used the L-shaped studs. I did receive an aftercare email, which is great…however when running a business these points on the email need to be covered in person as well. Im an esthetician, I do services that require aftercare, I always make sure to discuss it with my clients during the service AND send them home with physical and digital instructions. I’d rather my piercer over explain than not mention anything.The aftercare email contains some cursing, which I find highly inappropriate. It also contains my release form, which I checked the mark which said “I acknowledge that I will be given aftercare instructions emailed and verbal” didn’t receive any verbal other than I need to use saline solution because they don’t carry aftercare? Which is WILD to me that a piercing shop doesn’t carry aftercare….The entire shop just feels like it’s catered to wannabe punks and hipsters…like they are trying SOO hard to be edgy and alternative, but it just comes off as fake and expensive.My takeaways-steep pricing on the basis that they are “better for you”-dry client service-not thorough-great placement for the piercing-large selection of higher end jewelry, not much for basic quality optionsEdit: in response to the business, in the aftercare instructions it literally says “don’t pick at your damn crusties”I also read the form, I’d love if you could point out where the gauge size is…I’m having trouble finding it.I’m assuming willow is who spoke to me, all she said about the case I looked at was the price and told me gold options were somewhere else….i love how you’re trying to GASLIGHT me into believing my interaction went differently. I was told that you don’t CARRY any. If I had known that you were sold out, I’d have asked what brand your shop uses and where I can order it. As I also said, willow was not the problem, she was so sweet. Just there needs to be slightly more training on communication.My problem isn’t the way your staff looks, it’s the atmosphere. I said this not in a judgement way, but in a someone else may not feel like they are accepted in that setting…mean girl vibes…like if I don’t spend a certain amount of money on jewelry, I’m not as cool…just my general takeaway from the shop.Edit: I had to look over the pdf multiple times, I finally found the gauge…they pierced me with an 18 gauge, which is INSANE for a nose piercing in my experience…that’s way too big. Still doesn’t include the metal type 🤷🏼‍♀️

The staff are really great! Willow pierced my ear, and they were very nice and super helpful with deciding on jewelry and placement. I will definitely be coming back for any future piercings I want to get done!

I recently moved to Gainesville and im so happy to see a piercing shop like this so close to me. I last minute called the shop to make an appointment and thankfully they were able to take me. I met with Jeanette (i hope im spelling her name correctly!) who was lovely-- extremely professional, helpful, knowledgeable, experienced, and made great conversation with me. I highly recommend her and will definitely be asking for her again when I come back. The shop itself had a great selection of jewelry, but more importantly uses autoclave sterilization, APP certified piercers, and commits to using safe practices and materials.

I went in for a second lobe piercing in both ears. My piercer Willow was patient and kind. I highly recommend her. The shop itself is clean and tidy. I was looking for someplace professional and focused on a healthy, quality experience, and I found it here.

Yes, theyre a little pricey, but my piercing has never healed so fast!!! And their jewelry is really good quality (even the cheapest ones) and I didnt have a single reaction to it. Everyone was nice and informative and gave me advice about future piercings too. I definitely think the quality you get here is worth the price

I went today to get my septum pierced, and was thrilled with my experience! Two of the staff checked out my nose anatomy to see how it would go and informed me that I had a slightly deviated septum and a small piercing space so there was a chance that it would come out crooked. After I slightly chickened out, I came back a few hours later and they were quick to get my paperwork filled out and sterilized the jewelry beforehand. Jeanette was amazing during the piercing process and it came out great! I will say the prices are a little more expensive than you would normally see (just from my past experience at different piercing places) however personally, I don’t mind paying more for the great service they provided.

Highly recommend. I made an appointment to get my flat pierced so I could request Leann because she is simply amazing. Leann took her time helping me select jewelry, suggested jewelry for my flat that would match my helix jewelry, and explained the pros and cons of certain pieces of jewelry for that specific piercing. She made me feel at ease throughout the piercing process which was sterile, fast, and comfortable. Im in the medical field and can say Anatomic understands and executes true sterile technique (unlike other places that just slap on gloves, then touch everything and call it sterile), so combined with their great piercers, I cannot recommend this place more.

My friends and i scheduled consecutive appointments to get piercings together and it was such an amazing experience. the environment was so inviting, clean, and the employees definitely know their stuff. what sold me was the fact that they truly CARE about whether or not a piercing is suited for your anatomy. it shows that they will not do anything to jeopardize your health and comfort, they really have your best interest in mind. our piercer, Lynette, was so friendly and kind!! she definitely made us all feel comfortable and welcome and easily answered ALL our questions, i highly recommend and plan on going here again! (they also have the cutest perfume bottles i’ve ever seen!!)

I hadnt gotten a piercing since I was a kid so I was taking FOREVER to choose an earring but they were SO kind and patient with me. They walked me through everything and never made me feel rushed. Will be coming back for more piercings! Would highly HIGHLY recommend.

I just wanna say that before going in to get my nipples pierced I was scarcely nervous. The people there were super nice and welcoming. And Jeanette whom did my actual piercings, was awesome. She did such a great job answered all my questions and was patient with me. I highly recommend going to this place for nipple piercings. Again I cannot emphasize on how awesome Jeanette was from beginning to the end.My daughters want piercings and this is the place I will be taking them to, to get them done.

I’m here to echo all of the other great reviews- Anatomic is unlike any other piercing shop in all the best ways! Once you walk inside you can tell how much pride the owners have in their store with the beautiful pieces they carry and the cool aesthetic of the studio. All of the piercing rooms are nice and private, but also airy and very calming.As soon as I walked in everyone greeted me and one of the staff members took time to explain which pieces I could choose from, how they varied in price, and assured me they were all high quality and safe to use. I’ve never been to a piercing studio with so many options, especially beautifully unique pieces like the ones Anatomic carries!My piercer was so lovely, she talked me through the entire process, thoroughly explained all of the aftercare, and left me with a perfect nose ring. I’ll absolutely be back soon!

From my phone call (I had many questions) to completion of my piercing, I was impressed with the professionalism and personal attention from the staff. They carry a wide range of body jewelry for all budgets, all beautifully displayed in their modern, spotlessly clean shop. I love my new earrings, and Leann was great. Highly recommend!Follow-up: came back to have my posts re-sized (as instructed at my initial piercing appointment) after the appropriate healing period and after care for my lobe piercings, and my return visit was just as good. I work in health care, and would not hesitate to come back here, and would recommend.

I love this place. They helped me in so many ways to get cool looks from different piercings. They also saved me from bad piercing practices I had done to me at other, very reputable, piercing studios around town. I had someone at this other place convince me to jump gauge sizes on my ears, use metal I’m allergic to, and who gauged one of my ears that was infected anyway. This would never happen at Anatomic. They are professional to a tee. When the gauging I had at the other piercing place went indecently awry (it got embedded in my ear and the front was stuck) they gently though somewhat bloodily removed the gauge and gave me great instructions on how to care for it. If Anatomic is the angel piercers/deities blessed with the knowledge of how to pierce you properly, these other piercing places are the creepy brother of one of your friends that will give you a piercing or a poke for $5 while wasted and still hung over on an ecstasy binge. ONLY GO HERE MY FRIENDS.

The shop may be hard to find if youre unobservant like me. I honestly still dont even know where the sign is and I had to walk with Google maps in my hands to find it the first time. Its a small but elegant shop, well lit, and classy without being pretentious. But, obviously, the goods and services are the main event of a business, no?Got my septum pierced here. I wanted to go to a reputable piercer because I know septum piercings can go very wrong if done improperly. Not only was the piercing done quickly and with confidence, The healing really showed me that they knew what they were doing; less than a month later, I had no risidual pain or numbness though I know itll be 3-4 months before Im freely changing jewelry. Im lucky I heal quickly because I wasnt visiting such experienced people like ABA for my first few body mods and unfortunately know the pain and healing that comes with poor work.These people are pierced and tatted themselves with the knowledge and experience to back their work. Kindest people ever and make you feel comfortable.For anyone who stretches or wants to, I also recommend this shop. I want to eventually stretch my septum and was able to be pierced at a 12g (I have a bigger schnoz anyway so it suited me and my anatomy supported it).They also offer higher end jewelry which is great because Id love to go back and buy some once I reach my goal size. They have more offerings in store than online (from affordable to extravagant) so I encourage you to browse. They had things like blown glass perfume bottles and gilded roses in addition to the jewelry. Interesting to see and I definitely want to come back and spend 🤑.Im trying to mention everything people might be wondering about but, overall, I recommend this place 1000%.

I got a septum piercing from Jeanette and I am so happy! It was an amazing experience. All the employees were incredibly warm and welcoming from the moment I stepped in the door. Jeanette greeted me instantly and, after I told her what my appointment time was, she already knew who I was and what I was there for. On their website, it says “You are never just a number to us,” and they really mean it!!I told Jeanette I was a bit anxious, and she never made me feel rushed or like I was an annoyance. She causally chatted with me while she prepped, and it definitely helped take my mind off of my nerves a bit. She patiently answered all of my questions and made sure I felt ready before she did anything. She explained each step before she did it, so there were no surprises. Afterwards, she really hyped me up and told me how good the piercing looked on me, and I could tell she totally meant it. She just made me feel so empowered and awesome. She also made sure I completely understood her aftercare instructions before I left (she was super understanding when I asked her to repeat them because I had trouble paying attention from the adrenaline rush 😂).Overall, this was so different from what I’ve experienced getting pierced at a tattoo shop, in all the best ways! I left feeling absolutely elated. I can’t recommend this shop enough!!

I just got a helix piercing here and the staff was incredible—this was my first cartilage piercing and they were extremely kind and accommodating to my nervousness. The location is very clean and I felt very safe getting my piercing here (and I was shocked at how little pain I felt during the piercing, which I credit to the care and skill of my piercer). I’ve had friends go to places that do both tattoos and piercings and their experiences weren’t as great; I’m glad that I went to a location that solely does piercings as I felt that more care was put into making it perfect. I’ll definitely be coming back here for my next piercing and I highly recommend it to anyone looking for a place to get a new piercing.

Best shop in gville. Can’t beat their jewelry selection. Piercers are all super friendly and communicative throughout the whole process. *as a reply to comment from shop. Personally I’ve been placed with the wrong post size during a piercing and had to come back later because the swelling was pressing against the post so bad. I had a friend who had to get upsized twice because each time they were placed with the wrong post. Also received conflicting advice from different piercers about what is and isn’t suitable for my anatomy. That kind of back n forth n wrong sizing make me wonder about the credibility of APP piercing shops and the premium pricing that comes along with them

This place is super busy! Way busier than I has expected and can see why appointments are needed. Overall experience was great and received through instructions with after care verbally and via email. The only downside I can even think of was feeling a little rushed to pick jewelry, but I also can be indecisive. However, this did NOT have impact on my overall experience. That being said, if I decide to get more piercings I would make sure to go in well before my appointment or a day prior to have in mind what jewelry Id want to get pierced with. Everyone I interacted with was extremely nice, helpful, and professional, this was surprising given how extremely busy they were. Cause most places, once they get busy, it seems like customer service suffers, and that is not how it is here! Would definitely recommend this place to others.

Love this place!! I went with a friend to get an ear piercing and they took their time helping us pick out what jewelry to get and answering all of our questions. The jewelry is a bit pricey but definitely worth it because its safe. Leann pierced both of us and she was great. She makes sure everything is so clean and she is very professional as well. I got my piercing a few days ago and it is healing very nicely. I will definitely be coming back for more!

I absolutely love this place. Ive gotten two piercings there (helix and nostril) and both times I had a really great experience. The place is very clean and the staff makes you feel very comfortable if youre nervous. They answer any questions you have without making you feel stupid, which is a negative experience Ive had at other places. Also, my piercings came out great and I havent issues with either of them! Highly recommend!!!

Had my navel done; Leanne is so sweet, and very informative about the sterilization beforehand, the process throughout, and what to expect for healing/aftercare, I left with no worries about my piercing. I’ve gotten several piercings here and I am always impressed with the professionals on staff. I love that it’s a woman-owned business, and their jewelry selection is incredible and reasonably priced, and they have a lot of high quality options. One appointment was completed during COVID times, and they were clearly taking appropriate precautions with customer safety in mind. They’re very helpful with the selection process and taking the time to educate you.

I got my tongue pierced here. The staff is friendly, personable, and well educated in the industry standards of body piercing. The shop is small, but clean, well lit, and inviting. Leann is awesome. She answered all of my questions without hesitation and worked with me when I admitted I have a terrible gag reflex. All of the jewelry is high quality and internally threaded, which is awesome. They have a cassette autoclave that allows them to sterilize your jewelry right in front of you! That was super cool, and really reassuring to know my jewelry and piercing tools were 100% sterile. It was the most positive piercing experience Ive ever had and will definitely be back.

AWESOME experience today getting pierced at Anatomic Body Arts.Super professional, very kind and patient staff!I went in originally for double nostril piercing and picked out the jewelry but then had second thoughts and went with one nostril and my septum. Staff was super patient with me and could tell that they really are in business to make their clients happy, BUT will not compromise when it comes to doing things correctly. Super important!! They are the professionals and they know what theyre talking about.Procedure was quick and comfortable ( no pain other than initial pinch of needle). After care instructions were clear.Thank you!!

I made an appt online to come in for a consultation for the piercings I was going to get. The store was very nice and didnt have and wasnt intimidating like some piercing places are. The people at the front were very professional and kind.After the consultation, I was told that they could do my piercings now. I chose from a lovely selection of jewelry and the piercer gave me information about which ones are adjustable and which ones are not.The one who did my consultation and piercings was very kind and talked me through the process. The piercings probably took less than 5 minutes.The piercer told me how to take care of the piercings, what I should stay away from and how long it would take to heal.I will definitely go back to Anatomic Body Arts for any future piercings I want.

I was a little sad about not being able to get one piercing done because the piercer suggested against it, for valid reasons. I appreciated her honesty. The facility is clean and well organized. She walks you through everything so you’re at ease the whole time. I’ve had my ear piercings for two months now. I’m definitely going back for more once these piercings heal.

I went in for 3 lobe piercings and a nose piercing. I clarified the pricing over the phone and I went in with the idea that Its $35 for the first and then $10 for each additional piercing. Kristen refused to do all 3 of my lobe piercings at the same time and told me shell do just one with the nose. This is a critique of the vagueness of the studios policy and lack of communication on their behalf, and not of my piercer Kristen. She was awesome and she did an amazing job. 5 stars for Kristen.Just before the piercing, I asked when I come in again would it be still $10 for the additional lobe piercings. She told me Ill have to pay the full price for the first one. At this point I asked her if she can leave the nose and just do the lobes. Kristen told me that she was already behind schedule - I can understand that because she was the only piercer in the studio at that time. I did go 15 minutes ahead of my appointment time.I wouldve appreciated if I wouldve been contacted before I came in and had been notified that they can do either just the 3 lobe piercings or just one lobe and the nose piercing at the same time. I find this lack of communication to be very unprofessional. Very disappointed with my experience and I would not be coming here again. The least they couldve done was to honor the pricing that I was told.

I made an appointment online and once I got there I knew I was in good hands. The people talked me through everything I needed to know and aftercare instructions. They were very thorough and helped me get the best jewelry (i got a nose piercing on right nostril). The lady talked me through the whole thing and sterilized everything before using. I love how it turned out and am so glad I went to this piercing shop. Definitely recommend!

I ended up getting a nostril piercing in South Florida, and it created a sizable bump and was super irritated. When I came to Gainesville I called here and luckily even with this virus they still were able to take me the same day! The face shields and limiting amount of people in the store shows this business cares about safety. I had Hunter change my piercing to better quality jewelry, and it was a super gentle and quick process. Now almost 3 weeks later my nostril piercing with the new jewelry from here, my bump has healed. Great place and I will definitely be back here for all of my piercing needs!! Can’t recommend them enough!

The ladies at Anatomic are absolutely awesome. They’re very knowledgeable about the body, about which piercings will be better for your individual anatomy. I went to get two piercings—one I was comfortable with and one I was very nervous about. Both were a breeze and as painless as possible! Very hygienic, and they only use high quality jewelry made to heal as quickly as possible and be least likely to be rejected—with proper aftercare, which they inform you of in detail both in person and a follow up email. The overall experience was the best I could ask for, and I am so happy with my piercings. I’ll never go back to any other piercing parlour but here!

I went here for my first piercing and they are wonderful! It has the appeal of a mom and pop shop with the knowledge and professionalism you would expect from a very high end store. Jeanette is the person who took care of us both.We showed up early to our appointment and looked around at the jewelry in the shop, they have all kinds of jewelry. Both me and my girlfriend decided on some of the higher end jewelry because the aesthetic.Once it was time for our appointment my GF went first. Jeanette looked her over to make sure her body would support the septum piercing she wanted. During my GFs consult she was informed that her septum piercing had a higher risk because of her anatomy. (She has a smaller area to pierce.) It could be done but information was provided on possible outcomes. After some time to think about it, she decided to proceed. Jeanette got everything set up and walked her through the whole thing. There was one point in time where my GF was nervous, and Jeanette just talked her through what she was doing. All in all, the whole piercing process took about 20 min for her septum. Everything came out perfect with absolutely zero issues.It was my turn to get my nipple piercings done. Jeanette gave me the thumbs on during the consult saying my body would support the piercings. After getting her equipment set up, she marked my nipples where the piercing would go. I was able to check, double check, and check again that they were positioned nicely. I even had my GF check to make sure they were even and level. Jeanette had me lay on my back and then proceeded to do the piercing free handed (no clamp). The right nipple took probably less than 45-60 seconds from piercing to having the jewelry in. The funny thing is Jeanette said, little pinch right before and it definitely was more than a little pinch. I appreciate her trying to downplay it for me though. On to the left nipple, and it went just a well as the first.My experience here was better than what I expected. I feel like my piercing was personalized and considerations were taken to make sure a positive outcome from the piercing was achieved.Granted this place is more expensive than others but I cant put a price on the quality of service. I think it was totally worth it for the quality of the jewelry and the outstanding service. I would recommend this place above all for anybody looking for a piercing in the Gainesville area.

I couldn’t have asked for a better nostril piercing experience!!! The piercers here are clearly knowledgeable professionals. I really appreciated how my piercer was able to quickly evaluate the best location on my nose for the piercing. It turned out perfectly and I love the jewelry options that they have! I am so glad I chose this place, the price is well worth it. Looking forward to coming back for more piercings in the future :)Update: I was a little disappointed when it came time to swap out my nose stud for a hoop because of the following: at my initial appointment, I brought a fake nose hoop to show my ideal placement to my piercer and let them know the kind of look that was my goal. Fast forward six months, I go back in to buy a hoop and have them put it in. The piercer who did my initial piercing was not in, but I let this other piercer know I wanted a dainty snug look and she said she’ll “do her best” but did not show me the hoop prior to me purchasing it. I found out that it was neither dainty nor snug when I looked in the mirror after I had already paid $30 and had her put in the hoop. Complete waste of $30. I had her take it out right away. She then told me that dainty smaller hoops are “not okay” and anyone wearing them is not doing the right thing. Ummmm then why did no one tell me this on the day of my initial appointment when I brought in the exact size hoop I wanted and showed my piercer the look I was going for?? I ended up buying another hoop online and going to piercing pizzazz to have them put it in for me. Also, unrelated but I find it pretty lame that anatomic only responds to negative reviews. Why not take five minutes and write a quick thank you to the people who take time out of their day to help your business?

I can not speak highly enough about the professionalism, cleanliness and over all AMAZING people who own and run Anatomic Body Arts!!! They will always give you honest opinion about what ever you are asking, even if it means they suggest you to come back at a latter time for a piercing. They are here to make sure your piercing heals correctly, and they will never up sell you (unlike all the other shops in Gainesville). I have had my nose pierced 3 times , and it wasnt until I came here that it finally healed correctly because of their high quality jewelry, proper piercing and aftercare. Also during this time of crisis they donated masks to my medical office. We have not been able to find masks anywhere and still cant. HUGE THANKS to Anatomic Body for being the example of what a great small businesses should be. I highly suggest them to everyone.

Poor customer service. When I asked questions about the lack of jewelry prices on their website and something on their legal release that I didn’t understand, they immediately told me that they were refusing to pierce my daughter’s ears. There was no attempt to address my concerns. Their answer was “this is how we do it”. I thought the $45 piercing fee was a bit high but I never expected their jewelry to start at $70! I think that $115 is way too much to spend on a simple earlobe piercing but the the biggest insult was the staff not attempting to resolve my concerns but rather simply cancelling my daughter’s appointment. Very unprofessional. If you are thinking of using this shop, I highly recommend that you call first and get the actual cost of the service you are considering. I will say that the shop was clean and the jewelry looks to be high quality but I cannot recommend the customer service.

This place is extremely professional and clean and makes me feel safe to come in, especially during COVID. I’ve gotten my nose pierced here as well as my 2nd lobe jewelry changed to a much higher quality pair. While this piercing studio is a little more on the pricier side than others surrounding it, it’s because they give you high quality jewelry and you really get what you pay for. Compared to BodyTech, they’re also a lot more welcoming and take their time with customers. Highly recommend if you want to treat yourself with a beautiful piercing and beautiful jewelry!!!

After a terrible experience I had with another piercer in town, I was apprehensive about getting anything else. From answering my emails before the shop was even open, to helping me find something which fit into my budget, to a quick and painless procedure, I cannot say enough good things. The shop although small, is very intimate and clean, all the jewelry options displayed and easy to see, well lit. And yall if I walk into a tattoo or piercing shop, and it doesnt smell like a medical office, my ass turns right around and walks right out the door. Im the type of person that will save and pay for quality work, but I will also pay for an experience. Its so easy to tell when someone truly loves what they do, it shows in their work, and the way they treat their clients. I will recommend to anyone looking for a safe piercer, and a great experience. I’ve been in twice, first to have my nose ring looked at when I thought it may be infected from an irritation (was not infected) which led me to actually having it stretched to a lower gauge at the recommendation of the staff which I am grateful for and then another time to pick up a gold hinge hoop they ordered for me to replace the post that they had put in. I love my new hoop so much and if I ever get another piercing, I’ll definitely do it here!

I have gotten my ears, nose, and nipples pierced here and have never had a bad experience nor a bad heal. The piercers are super knowledgable and consider the clients safety over their own profit every time. Love this place!

I went to Anatomic to get my helix pierced because theyre the only place in town (to my knowledge) that pierces with studs rather than curved barbells. They looked over our ears thoroughly to give us the best options for placement based on our anatomy.Yes, the jewelry is very expensive, but Ive never seen a piercing shop with the delicate and detailed pieces they carry, and I dont see the point in buying something thats sloppily made, gets discolored, or falls apart. I replaced my dinky septum ring for a rose gold one that they were stoked to put in for me and its absolutely seamless. I LOVE it. Leann also helped me pick out affordable studs for my triple daith which had been pierced elsewhere with ugly curved barbells, which I didnt even know werent supposed to be used on that kind of piercing.I usually leave much more educated and in a great mood. Leann and her husband are great conversationalists and very patient while we browse and debate what to get. They took some time to look up the cost of some BVLA pieces Id seen online so I could think it over and save up for when Im ready to get that piercing.As much as Im tempted by other shops where they charge less, Id rather wait to afford a piercing with jewelry Ill actually keep. Its also nice to visit a shop where they can recommend affordable places to find sterile saline solution rather than berate you for not wanting to buy what they sell at their store.A++ experience.

I got an industrial piercing and septum done at anatomic and they were very informative in helping me understand the process and what to expect as far as the piercing, pain, and aftercare. They really took their time and made me feel comfortable. I lost the ball to my jewelry and came in and they once again were very helpful in giving me instructions and putting my jewelry back together for me.

Brought my daughter here to have her ears repierced after another local shop wouldnt listen that I wanted it done with a hollow needle. She hated the piercing gun at the other shop and, just like I expected, her ears never healed properly. We waited almost two years and then she wanted them fixed so we found Anatomic Body Arts and I could not be happier. I called to schedule an appointment and even just over the phone our experience was already exceptionally positive. Once we got there for her appointment everyone there was reassuring and explained everything from start to finish. Everything was sterilized right in front of us so there was no question as to cleanliness, though the shop itself is very well lit and obviously clean. No one made her feel even a little bad for being nervous - they told her thats normal and reminded her multiple times that if she felt scared or uncomfortable all she had to do was say the word and theyd stop until she was ready. Her piercer was extremely patient and talked *to* her about each step as it was going to happen, and when she could see she was struggling with nerves she asked her to tell her stories while she worked because it helped her concentrate. This was such a good experience Ill be suggesting them to everyone I know for both themselves and their kids.

Unfortunately I almost fainted after getting my cartilage pierced (anxiety be like that) and they made sure I was feeling better before I left and handled the situation professionally. I came here to get my nose pierced which is the first peircing I’ve ever had besides my ears. I was nervous beforehand, but this place is extremely clean, welcoming, and the staff was so nice. All three staff members engaged in a conversation with me and my boyfriend and had a great sense of humor. The woman who did my nose was very kind, explained everything with clarity, and was obviously experienced. My peircing came out perfectly and the whole experience was enjoyable because of the kind staff. I will absolutely return here for another peircing in the future, and would recommend 100%!

The first thing I noticed when I walked in was how clean it looked and smelled. The staff were all very friendly and made me feel comfortable. I went in to Anatomic to change the jewelry of a piercing I got done somewhere else. The piercing is 3 months old and had some pretty big piercing bumps. Leann examined the piercing and thoroughly explained the different contributing factors for the bumps; one of the main factors being the jewelry. She replaced my jewelry and we discussed aftercare. It has been literally 4 hours since leaving the shop, and I can already see a HUGE positive difference. I am so glad to have a piercer in town who will take the time to discuss piercing maintenance with their clients and truly provide the best options available.If you are thinking about investing in a piercing, go to the right people and you will not regret it. It may be slightly pricier than other places around town, but the care, quality, and knowledge make it 100% worth it.

The woman that runs the parlor is super lovely and patient. I took forever to pick out what stud I wanted for my cartilage piercing, and she just said it was ok and waited. The wifi was also down meaning I could not pay with card, but she was super helpful and understanding. Her intern was also very nice and friendly. All in all, great experience.

I had my septum done here and it was a calm, comforting environment. I had nothing but a positive experience here and my septum fits perfectly (they measured it to my nose and even oxidized it to give my jewelry a bronze color). Well worth the money!

Just got my ears pierced for the first time today! I was very happy with my experience. I wish I remembered the two ladies’ names that were there, because they were both so kind! Thank you, guys! I love the professional-quality stuff that they always use for any piercing - idk what exactly but it’s detailed extensively on their website! I also appreciate the women-only staffing, just because it makes me feel more comfortable lmao! That would especially be the case if any of you ladies are getting any other type of body piercing. I had an excellent experience getting an ear piercing here! Leann is extremely knowledgable about what piecings can be done with your anatomy. She explained everything about the piercing to me, as well as walking me through the piercing process step by step. She was so patient and I could tell she genuinely cares about the quality of her work. The shop is very clean (I saw Leann change her gloves so many times after she touched anything). The shop and piecers are APP certified, which is the highest industry standard (personally, I only feel comfortable with APP educated piercers as I’ve had terrible experiences with non-APP piercers). They also have a ton of beautiful (and safe) jewelry. If you’re planning on getting something pierced in Gainesville, I 1000% recommend going here.(I never really leave reviews, but this place is worth leaving a 5 star review)

I have had piercings done by LeAnne and Sabrina. Both were quick, professional, and sanitary. I love that as someone with a nickle allergy, I can wear everything in the store. Also, almost all earrings are flat-back and Im never going back to standard clutch backs.

I came in looking for a replament top for my navel piercing and had a wonderful experience. I use to have to drive up to Jacksonville to get my piercing jewelry because nobody in Gainesville carried Anatometal or BVLA. I ended up getting a daith piercing while in the shop after Leann had answered all my questions. She was super professional and this was the first time I had seen my jewelry get properly sanitized. If anyone has gotten or is thinking about getting a daith, it can be a tricky piercing having to be done a little slower. But Leann got it done beautifully! Ill definitely be back once its all healed up to pick out a new piece :)I cannot stress enough how important nice piercing jewelry is. Not only are their pieces gorgeous but its safer and well worth the investment!

After getting my Daith pierced at Body Tech, where the ring they used was way too small for the swelling, Leann switched out my ring for a bigger one and gave me accurate aftercare instructions, after being told to use something that shouldnt be used on a piercing. I went back to her to get a new ring after mine got damaged before a surgery when the medical staff tried removing it themselves. I will go back for more piercings, I dont trust anyone else.

Went to get a piercing changed out. They were quite rude, staff was snobby and whispered amongst themselves while I browsed. Made me pay before they provided the service- forcing a tip before it was earned. Extensive collection of jewelry, be prepared to drop cash.

I found this place completely out of nowhere while looking for piercing places in gainesville that had jewelry options other than the ugly dark staineless steel balls and hoops. The place small and I liked that it was bright, clean, and quiet. They had a wide range of options for jewelry for different types of piercings and i could tell that they took really good care of their jewelry to ensure its high quality. The piercer gave honest opinions about how the piercing would look depending on the individuals anatomy of the ear. I went thinking I wanted to get my flat pierced and my friend her forward helix but she walked out with her cartilage and me with my conch. And we are very happy with how they turned iut. The piercing room is very clean, everything autoclaved, sterilized, wipded down, she wears her mask, changes her gloves frequently, and will take her time marking and making sure that you are happy with the placement. You can tell that she is very experienced and I am definitely going back to her for my next piercing. Best piercing in Gainesville. :)

I was pretty new to piercings. Had my earlobes pierced when I was a child. Leanne was so thorough. She made me so comfortable. I got my tragus pierced. She talked me threw each step. It wasnt as bad as I thought it would be. Im thinking Ill even get another piercing sometime. If I do, it will be done here.

Not sure what I can say here that has not already been said 100 times. I went in for a rook piercing. Upon examination my ear was not anatomically appropriate for it. So we did a faux rook and it is adorable! I’m one very happy customer! Like everyone else has mentioned here the quantity and quality of jewelry options was amazing. Everything about the experience was A+.

I went in for a new piercing, and help with an old piercing that I was having trouble with (from another shop). The staff was so helpful and spent a lot of time answering all of my questions. They are very knowledgable, professional, and CLEAN!

I brought my 12 year old here to get her ears pierced yesterday. They were very professional and I could tell they run a sanitary practice. They used alcohol swabs, iodine, multiple changes of gloves, etc. They used some kind of needle, not a gun. My daughter said it didnt hurt as much as she thought it would. She did go white as we were starting to leave, and they were great with her. They had her sit down, and brought her a water bottle and a lollipop. They talked to her for a while to get her mind on other things. Then, one of the kind women actually walked with us out to our car to make sure she was alright!

Overall amazing experience! Felt very safe and sanitary the whole visit. Will definitely be going back for any other piercings.

If youre anxious about getting peirced this is the place to go. I got peirced here and had a great experience. Im very body shy but wanted a certain type of peircing for a long time. The staff was incredibly professional. Everything was spotless and sterile. I even managed to feel comfortable exposed to a stranger. Theres no push for uneeded merchandise or upgrades. I got close to passing out and they had water, candy, and ice packs on hand to help bring me back to reality. If I ever need another peircing I would 100% return here.

I have my daith pierced & the bottom ball of my barbell fell off into my carpet & I couldn’t find it. I came here asking for a simple plain ball & for them to put it on for me since im unable to do so myself due to the piercing being directly on the outside of the ear canal & hard to reach. The man at the counter told me I cannot purchase a new ball for my barbell & I had to buy a whole new piece of jewelry for $35 “if she would even do it” he said. She came out & said I am not going to put in a new barbell. You must have a hoop & Im going to put a smaller one in. I declined & said I did not want a hoop. The man said “you can look on google for the lowest rated places & they’ll probably do it for you”. Very rude & unprofessional thing to say. Went to Bodytech instead & cost me $6! Would give Anatomic 0 stars. Also extremely tiny & cramped with only 6 people in the store, you cant move around at all.

I was told by the piercer that I could just stretch my conch and use a ridiculously tiny barbell to do it. 2 days later, Im back home, 3 states away, with a super swollen ear, and no return policy. I had to go out and buy another earring just so I could get the throbbing to stop. Needless to say, I wont be coming back for horrible advice.
