The BEST for aesthetics! The staff is so nice and knowledgeable. They take their time to answer questions and hear your concerns. They went above and beyond to show me before and after photos of previous clients so I had an accurate expectation. The nurse who performed my procedure even shared with me her personal experience with the same procedure which was very helpful. They also make sure you feel very comfortable and go the extra mile to pamper you! This is definitely where I will be going for any future aesthetics services 🥰 I’m so glad I found them!

This is a great place to get laser hair removal done. I have received my full 7 treatments for the chin, under the chin, sideburns and lip. The owner Jennifer even agreed to give me an additional 3 sessions due to the fact that my hair is so course and thick. Overall, Brandy has done a great job with my treatments, and the hair doesnt grow back as fast, which Ive learned is the goal of laser hair removal. I also had two dermaplaning appointments with Beth, which I did in order to get more streamlined facial hair loss. I will definetly tell my friends about this place, and I hope to return in the future for all of my future laser hair removal needs!

My first experience at Dermacare was perfect! They walked me through what to expect and answered all my questions - even ones not related to my procedure (Botox). It was my first time getting any sort of cosmetic procedure, and the staff made me feel completely comfortable. Even the location is great and the interior is relaxing. I got Botox for my forehead and crow’s feet and am blown away by the results! I highly recommend Dermacare for any of your skincare needs.

I started coming to Dermacare for laser hair removal a few months ago and am blown away by how friendly and accommodating the staff continues to be. The space is very clean and feels more like a spa then a skin care clinic. The front desk staff is always friendly and very helpful. I was a bit nervous for my first hair removal session, but Nicole quickly made me feel comfortable. She explained the process in detail and answered any questions I had. She continued to check on me throughout the procedure to make sure I was okay. The treatments have been extremely successful and I would highly recommend Dermacare to friends and family.

I was treated by Brandy for a total of 10 laser hair removal sessions. It was amazing! Overall, I had an amazing experience! I think I had about a 95% hair loss removal overall on my face. The clinic owner, Jennifer, really worked with me. I purchased the package of 7 total treatments, and Jennifer included 2 complimentary treatments when her and Brandy realized I needed more to fulfill the hair loss desire I craved so much. I also did 2 additional dermaplaning treatments with Beth, and that was a great touch-up in addition to the 10 laser hair removal treatments. The hair loss may not last my ENTIRE life, but it should for at least a good 3 years. There are several factors that contribute to facial hair growth such as hormonal changes, pregnancy, cultural background, and much more. Thank you Dermacare for an amazing experience! Wow Im truly impressed with how amazing dermacare is! Back in 2019 my grandmother paid for a package of sessions for tattoo removal for me. And I ended up falling pregnant (twice) so I moved to Illinois to be closer to family. Then I did end up coming back to Florida but now in Daytona (which is over 2 hours from gainesville)so I called Dermacare wanting to know how much credit I had and within a few days I get a call saying they understand that Ive not been able to use my package and they are refunding me the whole $940.09 I was shocked they couldve been greedy and told me no but they didnt. I highly recommend Dermacare because they actually care about you

Love the way this clinic treats me! The staff is so professional and really good at what they do. I started with a relaxing facial to get rid of old cells and inspire new, then I had filler in my cheeks (my favorite!) and filler to get rid of my frown lines. My resting face looks really good now, not sad like before. To finish my morning of self-pampering I had little botox to smooth the lines in my forehead and upper lip. I am 59 year old, I try to stay in shape. Dermacare gave me the healthy look on my face to match the way I feel inside. My husband says I look 20 years younger and I really feel like it too! For my daughters graduation we enjoyed a day at the spa at Dermacare. We both had microdermabrasions. The experience was the best we have ever had and we have had quite a few at different places. Dermacare made this clinical treatment into a wonderful facial/spa experience. We were so relaxed, our pores were clean, and our skin felt amazingly soft. I love the way I look and feel now! I cannot say enough good things about this place. I felt pampered by the staff from the moment I walked in. After a microdermabrasion facial from Carley (love her voice) I had some botox on my forehead and several fillers to correct and enhance my cheeks, chin line and lips. Dianne has really good technique. She restored my upper lip and lightly filled some of the lines that made me look chronically tired and sad. I am 61 and I feel beautiful!

There was a time when I was having problems with breakouts and a friend recommended I see a professional at Dermacare.After having a FREE consultation with Kiahla, I began seeing Nicole for monthly peels and facials. She is a very well trained and knowledgeable medical esthetician as well as just a great person. Im very please to say that after six months of working with Nicole I have seen great results under her care. She will really help you out if you have acne! Dermacare treatments and the most experienced clinician in the area (Liz Smock) easily has taken ten years off my face! The Limelight Laser, micro needling and Vy Peel are my favs!

Love the ladies who run this place (I had to edit this to now include Xavier, hes the best)! I joined the VIP Platinum Plus program over a year ago to improve my skin for my wedding, and have renewed my membership for another year. You simply cannot beat the price for the services Dermacare provides with this program. I have undergone several rounds of microneedling, peels, limelight, laser genesis and relaxing facials--my skin has never looked better. For aesthetic procedures I typically see Beth, who has such a calming and relaxing touch for facials but isnt afraid to really get in there with the dermapen or microderm so you can see the best results. Ive been to several different clinicians for laser treatments (I particularly love the limelight laser, it gets rid of or reduces freckles/sun spots) and theyve all been excellent--they let you know what to expect and guide you through the whole process to make sure youre comfortable. I have also gotten Botox to lift my right brow (my brows are slightly asymmetrical), which Dianne corrected perfectly. I have also been refused Botox on follow-up visits, which is a true sign that this business is focused on customer well-being and not exclusively profits. The front staff (Malory and Cheryl are typically there when I come in) are so friendly and welcoming and always have great insight as to which procedures I should schedule to maximize my results. They always have small treats (peppermint patties, hazelnut chocolates, little cheesecake squares, coffee, tea) about the office and everyone seems to genuinely enjoy working there (there has been no turnover since I joined over a year ago, which is indicative of happy employees). They also reward their VIP members with VIP days (quick complimentary treatments and finger foods), free gifts, and discounts on Botox and fillers. I will continue with this program as long as I am in town as it is a treat yoself day I look forward to every month.

I have been going to Derma care for several years now. I am currently seeing Dianne Elshire APRN. I also am a APRN (Ed is my husband) and from a professional and personal stand point… Dianne is precise, caring and makes me look awesome. Most of my patients have no idea I’m in my 60s as it should be! Lol. I never look phony or “too overdone”. I look refreshed and rested.The whole staff is professional discreet and always happy to see patients. I highly recommend Dianne Elshire as well as any of the staff. 5 stars PLUS! Ive been a client at Dermacare for over 10 years. I first came because they sold Obagi skin care products and Jane Iredale cosmetics. Then, because I felt so comfortable asking questions about products and receiving helpful, sincere feedback, I decided this is the place I trust to do treatments such as laser Genesis, microdermabrasion, and lactic peels. So, I became a VIP member, and then a VIP platinum member. The facials are also fantastic. Everyone is down to earth and beautiful inside and out. Every time I walk in (for products, or treatments, or to attend one of their awesome VIP program parties), I am in for a treat and a lift to my day. Its never intimidating walking through their doors. I cant recommend Dermacare more highly as a place for all your skin care needs.

I had Microneedling done at Dermacare and had such a great experience. It was my first time doing a skincare procedure like this and the staff made me feel comfortable. I’ve already seen results after one session!

I have been a customer here for over a year. Lately, I was disappointed with the services I received. Similar to the complaints below, I took issue with care in which my chemical peel was being done. I arrived at the salon at 9 and was out by 9:07. 7 mins!! It was rushed. I asked about having a fan on my face because the peel was burning but they said that there was none available. I services are really inconsistent. Sometimes its a very nice experience and I enjoy going there and other times I feel like they are just slapping some chemicals on my face. I called Jennifer. She seemed fairly defensive on the phone. I tried to politely offer my feedback and she quite obviously didnt want to hear it. I dont feel valued as a customer.

After years of hearing rave reviews from my friends, I finally started care today and have to say I was impressed and I am excited to see results! I had an extraction facial today and they were nice enough to also fit me in for Blu-U treatment. I also got product samples to try at home b/f buying the full sized product which is awesome!

I wouldnt say that going through tattoo removal is enjoyable by any means . However I will say that I will be on my 10th treatment , and I am very pleased with how its turning out . Its fading with no scaring which is the best I could have asked for . My experience with the staff at Dermacare has kept me coming back as well . They have always been warm and welcoming . My boyfriend and I have been working with Liz for the better part of a year , and truly enjoy her and her enthusiasm .

Found Dermacare when searching for somewhere to have electrolysis treatments. There are not very many. Nicole, Shelby and the entire staff have always been extremely courteous and professional every time - over the phone and in person. Great office with many treatments available.

I have been going to see Liz Smock for almost two years now and her treatments (namely laser genesis and botox) have ensured that I look as good as I did 15 years ago! Moreover, the other services and products provided by Dermacare have helped immensely in supplementing my makeup and daily facial regimen. I urge anyone who wishes to look their best at any age to go to Dermacare!

My initial experience with Dermacare when they first opened their faucility was great. But it took a turn for the worst experience I have ever had as a paying client. I was a constant VIP paying client for many years, then I had a terrible experience with the new Esthetician at that appointed time, her name is Nicole; Im sure she is the Lead Esthetician or Supervisor by now.I came in for my normal monthly scheduled chemical peel and I was approached that Nicole would be doing my chemical peel for that particular day, I was ok with this due to her being a licensed Esthetician.It was evident that Nicole did not read my medical file of previous chemical peels I had for years at Dermacare, and she placed a very strong chemical peel on my face. Needless to say I had the worst reaction with excruciating burning, pain, swelling and constant peeling on my face, this went on past 5 or more days, I was very scared due to this had NEVER happened to me before.I called Dermacare and spoke with Nicole with telling her look something is wrong, I have never had this type of reaction to happen to me, Nicole made it seem as if I was the fault for her exposing me to a strong harsh chemical peel.Then I spoke via phone and personally spoke with Jennifer Barkley, the owner and clinic manager atDermacare Laser and Skin Care Clinic in Gainesville Florida, this woman accused me of messing up my own face after the chemical peel, stating I must have exposed myself to sun exposure after my chemical peel.( Which was false)Mrs. Jennifer Barkley was straight up rude, disrespectful with placing blame on me (her faithfully paying client for years)and took up wholeheartedly for her (then) new Esthetician, Nicole.I am Native American/African American and I definitely felt the racial tension with me concerning of both these women. I mentioned to Mrs. Barkley that my experience at Dermacare left me feeling as it was racially motivated, she told me I dare you say that Nicole boyfriend is black and she has a mixed baby. I told Mrs.Jennifer Barkley what does that have to do with me and how I feel you both are treating me.I was in tears and this woman Jennifer Barkley showed no signs of emotions of comfort towards me. I know the owner Jennifer Barkley will try to come on here with a response, but believe me she is vicious with covering up her hidden lies, I have spoken with many other clients that have had bad encounters with this woman over the years.This was my experience at Dermacare, the worst experience ever.

Such a treat to get my skin care at Dermacare. Going once a month keeps me on track with good skin care. I highly recommend Dermacare.

I highly recommend Dermacare and their Platinum VIP program. The staff is so wonderful and my complexion is the best it has ever been thanks to the chemical peels and microdermabrasion Ive had the past year. (The Renaissance Peel is so worth the lizard skin for a few days!! )

I used to hate my forehead before coming here! I did the Botox and I couldnt be happier! The office staff are always so welcoming and its always a pleasure coming! Good for Botox and specials on Rx products, but avoid the facial services.I have been a client of Dermacare for two years. I swear by them and I always recommend Dermacare to my friends. After moving to Jax, I still make the two hour drive to come here. Why? Lots of reasons... They have great deals on Botox ($10 a unit, occurs on a random Friday every month). They also have rotating specials for prescription Derm products like Obagi.However.... I recently purchased a Power Peel from this location and it has really opened my eyes to the quality of their facial services. The Power Peel is advertised as a microdermabrasion with a peel at the end for around $200. The aesthetician who did the Power Peel spent at a maximum 15 minutes doing the actual service. The rest of the time I was alone in the treatment room and I was told to lay on table relaxing. Its advertised to take an hour, but the service really just takes 15 minutes. There was no change in my skin, which they say it takes multiple treatments to see a real change. Ladies... Take it from a person who has sworn by Dermacare for two years. The facials are not worth what they cost. For $200, you can get 4+ microdermabrasion treatments at LAE. They have licensed Estheticians, too. And the esthetician will give you a full-blown facial plus a 20 minute microdermabrasion. The entire time I received this service, I couldnt stop thinking of how much they were charging for a service that most other places are charging significantly less for.I will continue to recommend Dermacare for Botox and dermatological products. However, save your money and do not get a facial at this location.

Derma care has a friendly staff and is able to schedule you for most treatments with in a week. I have never had any problems after lazer genesis or botox injections. They have reasonable prices for the services. JLH

Their Picosure laser for tattoo removal is amazing! The office staff are very pleasant and helpful. It was estimated that ny tattoos woukd be removed in two or three treatments. Instead of pushing me to pay for a package of four treatments just to make money, they suggested to pay for individual sessions so I dont lose money on unused treatments. I love the progress that my tattoos are showing and cant wait until my next session.

The Picosure tattoo removal machine is a miracle! I have a tattoo on my back shoulder that I was regretting getting years ago. I thought I was stuck with the tattoo for the rest of my life.I have had (3) treatments from the Picosure laser; it has removed most of the tattoo, it is very faded. The treatment itself is tolerable and last for a short time (5 minutes). I would recommend getting the numbing cream, not so much for the treatment, but the burning afterwards. I had no pain or burning after my last treatment.The office personnel at Dermacare are professional and kind; they all make sure you are comfortable and walk you through every step through the treatment.I am looking forward to my final treatments!Fantastic job Dermacare!

Highly disappointed! I have been a customer for 5 years and was treated incredibly, unfairly after questioning their pricing on my latest services.As a client, I have every right to question what I am paying for. The way I was treated at check out was so unprofessional and not worth the discount. It is a shame that when I am paying full price that I am treated well, but when I am receiving a discount that I am treated poorly. I would rather pay full price and be treated with respect rather than get a discount and be treated in the way I did for questioning their discount. I will be taking my services elsewhere. I am so shocked that after years of thousands of dollars being spent here that I would be treated this way because of me questioning the discount that they were so ever gracious to give me. I would have never expected such bad customer service from this place! Much less some of the staff here that I called my friend.

I recently had Laser Genesis done around my eye and face area. I was amazed at how much this fast and painless procedure tightened and toned the skin around my eyes and face! It was most evident on the sides of each eye, as I have recently had some sagging and lines in the area. Im extremely pleased with the results and the wonderful staff!
