First time getting my nose pierced, I loved the experience and they were very nice and professional. Getting my nose pierced, the pain was 9/10 but the pain went away quickly for me. I loved how it turned out and I’d recommend ANYBODY to come here. It’s easy, you walk in and they’re quick in my opinion. Highly recommend this place!! 💖

I went to get my ears pierced on 8/6/24 and had a wonderful experience here! Everyone I talked to was extremely nice, supportive, funny and overall had great customer service. Avery was the one who did my ears and she was amazing! She talked me through everything, was clean and took the time to have a conversation with me.If I decide on more piercings I will definitely be back!!!!!

Ive had a great experience at Little Johns for both piercings and tattoos. The staff is very welcoming and the layout of the shop is nice. Lefty is my favorite tattoo artist. He has a good vibe and does amazing work!

I saw a design Lefty made in his book and was immediately enamored with it! I got it done a few weeks ago and it not only was a lovely session, but it looks lovely too. I guess you could say Lefty is the goat. Not only is he a great tattoo artist, but he’s a great artist too. The tattoo truly speaks for itself if this review doesn’t.

New beginnings and new memories to come 🥰Great atmosphere and always a great conversation to be had. Lefty got me right for my wedding day in less then a week. Will be returning for more work. I told him what I was looking for and he executed it beyond my expectations. Lefty is extremely talented and made the time pass with his humor and realistic outlook on life.The hour drive is worth every penny spent to know that my ink and piercing are done by top of the line professionals.

Set an appointment they said. So we did. For 10 seconds of showing up for the appointment the artist say. Nope not going to do that. It is not my specialty. Had someone took the time and effort I would not had wasted my time on the appointment. At one time little jobs was the place to go for quality tattooing. Now it is just a waste of time with kids trying to act like professional artist.

Wonderful service!! I went for a basic lobe piercing and my friend went for a septum piercing; we walked in without an appointment and were out in 20 minutes. Tuna was incredibly swift and comforting. would def recommend :)

I got my nose piercing done by Avery, and she is awesome. Warm, friendly, explained everything she was doing, and kept conversation going so I wouldnt get nervous. However, I had to go back the next day, because I thought (Im an idiot) that the back had fallen off (it had not). The gentleman who assisted me the following day was rude and touched me without asking. Both front desk people were kind and friendly, you just may want this guy to find an attitude check.

I cannot recommend this shop enough. I’ve gone to Little John’s for every single one of my piercings and tattoos; I trust these people with my life, they’re all so amazing. When it comes to tattoos though, Lefty is the man. He’s done 3 tattoos on me so far and they’ve all turned out so amazing and better than I could’ve imagined! The shading and line-work he does are just perfect and he has always made me feel so comfortable in his booth.

I dont write reviews, but my experience at Little Johns transcends ANY experience Ive ever had in a tattoo shop, and Lefty was completely responsible for everything that made it incredible. I brought him a picture of a sticker, flat and 2 dimensional, and had expected a cute, but basic boring black outline tattoo. To say I was blown away is vast understatement. To say I was impressed, doesnt even do Lefty justice. I would leave 10 stars Id I could, hes absolutely amazing!

Chris Walton is amazing! Took an idea I brought to him, redrew it made it 100% better than the original! What a great, enjoyable experience. If you want color work done, Chris is your guy! Absolutely blown away with the results!

My tattoos were done by lefty, Ive been 3 times now and have always left with a sick tattoo and in a great mood. If youre nervous to get a tattoo I highly recommend lefty hes great at calming nerves with music and conversation. Hes extremely talented as well.

If you get a tattoo, dont go through Chris (Walton)! He is rude and will not listen to you describe how you want your tattoo to look. I booked an appointment 1 month out with him and tried to cancel 3 weeks before and was told I wouldnt get my $100 deposit back. He said he wont refund because he had started on my design. His no refund policy was not communicated to me during the consult and im pretty certain it wasnt on the paperwork I signed either! Some of the ladies at the front desk were rude as well. The other artists might be great-- but this guys thinks he knows everything (he tatted my husband so i had to listen to him talk for about an hour)!

Avery is the best for piercings! I got my industrial pierced by her, Very kind and thorough with explaining the process while it’s being done, as well as cleaning and aftercare. Highly recommend ❤️

What a waste, came down here to get my 16 year daughters nose pierced. The girl at the front was rude and acted like work was the last place she wanted to be. She rudely yelled at my fiancé about having our 14 month old in the building. We were not aware that kids under 12 could not wait in the sitting room with us. She then said that since my daughters address on her DL didnt match mine, by law they cant give her a piercing. Thats bananas. She said I would have to go and get my address change first with the DMV before they can do it. I got my real ID years ago, and Im not due for a renewal for another 2 years. My daughter just got her DL, so her address is our current address. Whos going to wait 10,000 years at the DMV ... just to update an address? Not me. We went right down the street and got it pierced in less then 10 mins. Will NEVER come here again.

I got the plague doctor about a year ago. i didn’t give him references or anything i just let him do whatever and it was everything i envisioned . I was in love with how it came out and i still am. The flowers i got for my mother for mother’s day (i was also just itching to get a new tattoo) i gave him references and he created exactly what i wanted. Im so so so excited to get more tattoos by him. his creativity is wonderful and he’s a really cool guy to talk too as wel! 💯

Charged me and extra 150 for a tattoo that I was originally quoted 600 for .Made payments prior to finishing the tattoo(2 session).But when it was time to settle bill no record of what I had already paid was Available which I had paid majority of payment in first session .Very unprofessional will take my business elsewhere . Decent work but not for the overpriced rates they are charging. Tattoo artist was gabe.

I see moms and they older kids, I see a lot of rerun customers and people. I’m glad I chose this place for my first tattoo.

Got a beautiful butterfly tattoo. My tattoo artist did a fantastic job designing exactly what I asked for,did take as light as I thought it would..I was really happy about that so I recommend to go see Lefty hes the best..thanks again for doing a fabulous job

Topher pierced my helix yesterday. it went great at first, but i noticed immediately that it was pierced with the incorrect jewelry. it was a 20 gauge and had a butterfly back. butterfly backs are notorious for harboring bacteria, and being so tightly clicked on you cannot clean it efficiently. today i went to a piercing shop more local to me to get it checked out and get the correct jewelry placed (16 gauge titanium flatback) she attempted to taper my ear to the correct gauge and it closed immediately. she also informed me that it was pierced crooked. i have been pierced at little john’s before by a different piercer, who did a good job. just beware, correct jewelry is essential and i’m out of 45 dollars.

The shop was very tidy and clean. I’m real big on cleanliness and Lefty exceed my expectations as I watched him prep. He has a great personality . He didn’t rush, he’s not heavy handed(spine tattoo, didn’t hurt at all) and he delivered exactly what I wanted.

This place is remarkable. I came in today to get a tattoo on my foot to memorialize my husband had passed from cancer 7 months ago. From the moment I walked into the building to the moment that I walked out all the stuff with professional respectful and fun. Gabe Sandy is the artist that did my ink. Not only is he super cool and chill but when you walk back to his station you can feel how much pride he takes in his work. And how bad a** he is by all the awards on the wall. Talk about mad skills. All I told him was I want a bird and cherry blossoms and a Bible verse on my foot. What he came up with is just gorgeous. While the building has a very industrial feel it is very clean. One thing I noticed and appreciated was how ofren he changed his gloves. Other artist chat with you while youre getting your tat done making you feel even more at home than you already are. This place is amazing ! I will be back for more. Thanks for helping me hold on to Phils memory Gabe!

This is the place for high quality tattoos and piercings. I’ve gotten both over the years and it’s always been top notch. Recently I finished a sleeve with one of the best artists I’ve seen, Lefty at little johns has been putting out absolute fire tattoos. The quality of work is absolutely phenomenal. The shading, the colors, and the artistic ideas that he comes up with are something of pure amazement. After the first session I knew Lefty had some amazing talent and that this was the right guy for my tattoos. I gave him an idea of what I wanted and he turned it into a masterpiece that I can truly say I’m proud to have his work on my arm and leg. This is by far one of the best tattoo artist I’ve ever had the pleasure of working with. Lefty, stay on top bro, you’re killing it man!!!

I received my 1st nose piercing a few months ago. Topher did the 1st piercing and he was awesome, he walked me through everything & was very patient with me. I ended up going back for a second nose piercing on the other side of my nose. I have a hoop in, now that I’m past my healing process. Avery put the hoop in for me and she was sweet.. I overall had a great experience and everyone was very welcoming.

It was my first time in little John’s. The experience was great. The employees were very professional. Lefty which was my artist did a cover up, and it was not at all going to be an easy cover up. We came up with an Eagle along with the American flag. The Eagle tat came out GREAT. It looked just like what we agreed on. Lefty has got great talent and visions. I would recommend him if you want a good looking tat. His choice of music is great too. 🤣

Topher was the artist who pierced my dermal, and excellent job of explaining the process and aftercare instructions along with making me feel comfortable and taking the time to get the placement just right! About 3 years ago me and my fiancé went to lil Johns tattoo we had a blast the guy did our tattoo is name gabe. Gabe been tattooing for 20 years or more he is the best artist in town in my opinion. His art work is incredible and amazingly talented. The thing is gabe is pretty booked up. That’s how great he is tattooing. Please stop by there tho.

Chris Walton is amazing with color blending. His go bold, colorful style turns flat 2D images into 3D works of art. For my Dragon Koi, Chris positioned the tattoo so that the fishtail moves when I bend my arm. Clever. For my lotus tattoo, he achieved the same effect. One of Chriss strengths is his ability to edit. He listens carefully and helps transform imagination into reality. This can be difficult when your vision is a combination of multiple ideas and unworkable concepts. Chris is not shy. He will tell you what will and what will not work. His experience and artistic insights gave me confidence. Within minutes of our consult, I knew that I could trust him. I was extremely nervous to get my helix pierced because of the reviews and i thought it would hurt. i could not have asked for a better experience. avery pierced my helix and my sisters. she was extremely nice and patient. i havent had issues with my piercing. i reccomend little johns for your first piercing.

Chris did an absolutely legendary wolf themed 1/4 sleeve piece for me over three sessions. I loved it throughout the entire process, which was delayed thanks to COVID! I had the black only layer for 6 months and finally it is complete. I absolutely love it. Chris took my ideas and created his own unique piece of art that I will carry proudly until my skin shrivels and wrinkles inevitably consume the art. If Im lucky it will be seen by aliens in a thousand years on my embalmed skin as I lay in the grave.Thank you Legend, I mean Chris, and Thank you Little Johns!

I’ve been pierced by all 3 piercers (Tuna, Topher, and Avery). By far the best experience each time. Every staff member in the building is nice, knowledgeable, and fun. They will answer your questions and explain every step of the process before and during the piercing. I made the mistake of thinking I could receive the same service at another shop and I won’t make that mistake ever again!

My initial experience was great! However after getting my nose pierced it showed a few issues. So I went back to have it looked at by professionals and the guy with the red finger nails was extremely rude and aggressive about my piercing. Stating it’s my fault because it was slightly infected because I wear make up , though I didn’t put any make up on that area. I didn’t appreciate how I was spoken to and handled, I don’t recommend this place!!

I come here for all my piercing needs. This review is a little passed due. I came to little Johns with my mom the weekend of mothers day. My mother got a standard cartilage piercing and I got my eye brow.Avery was the absolute kindest person I have ever been pierced by.Considering that I personally didnt do well with my piercing and became a little sickly and faint feeling. She knew exactly what to do and how to care for me. She made sure I felt okay before letting me leave. I have been pierced by everyone there and she is by far my favorite now.

Long time patriot of little John tattoo. But my last visit was the best. Got a small thing added that I won’t be able to photograph but I am absolutely happy with it. Tyler jones aka Lefty jones has done multiple pieces on me. All of which I have been extremely happy with. He has really come a long way and is an Amazing Artist. I’ll be going back soon for a piece on my calf and be using him again. Definitely be back to show y’all.

This is my go to place for piercings. While it seems intimidating at first, Ive grown to feel very comfortable here knowing that everyone is very knowledgeable and experienced. They also have pretty inexpensive high quality jewelry. Sometimes the wait is long for piercings, but Ive never had to wait more than half an hour, and most of the time I go I pick a time when theres no one else there so its super quick (weekdays are best). I love that theyre open super late if youre feeling like you want to treat yourself at 9pm.

Lefty did what’s probably my new favourite tattoo. My biggest one and longest session and he was a saint with keeping the lining simple how I wanted it ! He took a photo of what I wanted and a photo of the style and created it perfectly. I already have 2 friends who i’ve told about Lefty wanting to come here soon and book with him. Absolutely obsessed

I came here after going to another piercer in the greensboro area who was extremely rude and unprofessional. Tuna took the time to actually analyze the anatomy for an industrial piercing, explained in detail how I had the anatomy as well as the process of this piercing and healing. He was nothing but professional, knowledgeable, patient, and so kind. He gives me the vibes that I could trust him with my life. 1000% recommend his services. They also have a nice selection of high quality jewelry for such great prices.

I didn’t have an appointment and they took me as a walk in no problem! An the artist was AMAZING got my vision beyond what I was expecting.

From top to bottom, this place knows what’s up. The vibe is right because the people are nice and the artists’ work is always tight. I’ll do the web the great service my homie did for me, by saying, “Ask for Lefty Jones.” I wanted a knee to ankle sleeve but Lefty’s work is so fresh I can’t stop adding more and more to my leg piece. His attention to detail will blow your mind.

The first time the male piercer (tuna) pierced the wrong spot of my nose. He took it out and put it back in the right spot. He was having a hard time putting in the piercing as it would not turn and tighten correctly. A couple days later it fell out and I immediately came to get it put back in. He looked at me rudely and told me he’s done at 9 all he was doing was sitting down in his chair on his phone. And mind you, they close at 10. I said I’m not asking for it to be pierced I js need it to be put back in or it will close up that day cause it’s new. He still turned me away. I even called the store and asked can they put it in my nose and the lady on the phone said yes, the pieces was still here and can do it.

Annie is awesome. She does beautiful work and has such a great personality. I will never get a tattoo from anyone else! Go see her, you will not be disappointed.

I’ve gotten many piercings done here since moving to greensboro, everything has healed great and the prices are good, just came in today because i lost my septum ball and they hooked me up right away, definitely recommend for piercings

Recently received a Bridge piercing by Topher for what I was told $50 until AFTER I signed the agreement papers and then told $60🚩So me( The Consumer) that DID NOT know much about the process of what a Piercer has to go through to be acknowledged by the State that they are now hip to what the standards are and has knowledge to now perform I.E. The extensive education process into becoming an apprentice(≈ 2- 4yrs), Depending on the State/Country taking an Infection Control Course( I’m sure there is more, be curious and ask your piercer ). THE POINT OF THIS IS THAT I DID NOT ASK QUESTIONS NOR DID THE PIERCER (TOPHER) GIVE INFORMATION 🚩The Bridge anatomy in particular has to be examined FIRST to then signal to the Piercer to let YOU know how they’ll be moving forward—This was not up to my knowledge so all I experienced was 2 dotted outlines of where the piercing will lay/ confirmation from me(The Consumer), laid down to then proceed with the piercing; Even after that, it was uneven.🚩There was NO prep to the skin🚩I wasn’t acknowledge of how to take care of the Bridge piercing properly🚩It felt as though they wanted it to be In-Out and done- THAT SHOUD NOT BE THE CASE AT ANY STUDIO.Find a Forum/Video/Knowledgable network to let you know what to expect from someone in ANY professional field so you come in with confidence knowing you can trust and invest into them.$60 SHOULD NOT just be used for someone to put a Stainless Steel bar into your body and dip out 😂 It comes in a package of Knowledge, Patience, Confidence in who YOU are investing in AND THEN the Stainless Steel Bar inserted into your body.I would not recommend the Piercer (Topher) Just from that experience and I hope both the Piercer and Consumer is both in the Know to work together and build a healthier relationship.

I first went here in february with my sister and we both got helix piercings. mine has been giving me difficulties ever since even though i clean it properly everyday and even do salt water soaks. anyways, fast forward a month or so and my sister is also having difficulties with hers. she went to another place to get it checked out and the lady at (i believe it’s called the golden spiral) told her the angle was completely wrong and so was the jewelry. for some reason i went back for another piercing (daith) a little while later and not only was the piercer being rude and rushing me (i was the only person there), but he also pierced my daith wrong. honestly just don’t go here because more than likely you will be rushed and your piercings are likely to be done incorrectly.

I’ve been going to Little Johns for all of my piercings for a couple years now, I refuse to go anywhere else! Everyone there is professional, thorough, and do their best to make sure you are comfortable. The shop is always kept clean & neat. Every piercing I have gotten here has healed beautifully with no issues. I recommend this shop to everyone I know! 10/10 all around.

Walked in looking to get my ear lobes pierced around 2pm or so and it only took like 10-15 minutes from entering to leaving with my new piercings. Inexpensive and easy, but professionally done with a needle, not a piercing gun.

Ive come to this location for 5 piercings total (all on different occasions of course) and have not had a bad experience yet, I cannot express how much I love this place. The receptionist is patient and friendly, plus does extremely well in multi-tasking. I also love how knowledgeable the entire staff is with their services and aftercare. Tuna has done every single one of my piercings so far and I absolutely adore him! He gives you the run down of everything beforehand and is even a quick piercer (which is great for those who may seem nervous about being pierced), hes really a sweetheart. Even though hes been the one to do all my piercings, the times Ive come in just to purchase more jewelry, Ive been helped by some pretty nice piercers as well who I would trust getting work done by (another man and a lady-sorry I didnt get their names). I also love how clean they are keeping their establishment and following covid protocols, Tuna wears a mask and face shield when piercing and I thought that was very considerate! I hardly leave reviews but Ive had too many great, fast, and easy experiences to not take a chance and brag on them :) thank you guys so much!ps - this is solely based off piercing and overall experiences, havent gone for an actual tattoo yet but I wouldnt mind coming here when I think of something to get!

Got my septum pierced by Tuna earlier in the year and it was awesome. He explained everything. It was super chill. I got an aftercare sheet and the piercing healed beautifully.

Both me and my sister went and got piercings done today by Tuna who was very informative, professional and put us at ease. We both had a great experience from the time we walked in to the time we left. I highly recommend this shop and also Tuna due to the cleanliness of the shop and professionalism of all the employees. The Lady at the front desk I didnt catch her name was absolutely wonderful. Had a wonderful experience when I got my first tat here years ago. So when looking for places to get my first body piercing.... I came back to pierce my nose! Topher was great! He explained everything that he was doing and made sure that I understood and was comfortable. Staff was very friendly and helpful. Everything was clean, neat, and welcoming vibe. I brought my daughter to Little John’s to get her navel pierced. There were a couple people in front of us, but we did not have to wait long at all. The registration process was fast and efficient and the piercer was cordial. My daughter has had her piercing for a week now, and all seems to be going well with the piercing. She’s already asking to come back for her nose lol

My friend and I made a spontaneous decision to get piercings today. We did a walk-in and she got her tongue pierced while I got a helix ear piercing. Tuna was absolutely awesome. I was super nervous and he was incredibly supportive, encouraging, and calming. He was also insanely fast. My friend and I were in and out within 20 minutes. Definitely will be going to him for any piercings in the future. Pricing was fair, too - $40 for each.

I did a walk-in, so the wait was a little long, but I’m pleased with my results. Avery did my rook a month ago, and so far it’s been terrific. I haven’t had any infection or irritation.

The service here is very great! Ive gotten several piercings (septum, 3rd lobe, and industrial) and all of them have been healing very well. Each time we were given proper after care tips. The shop is clean and covid protocols are followed. As long as you come in there respectfully (as in listening to the experienced piercers that know whats best for you) everything will be very awesome.

Had my Daith, and Rook done, very quick easy process, and not even the slightest bit of discomfort beyond the initial pinch, Ive had simple lobe piercings that were more tender afterwards!!! so yeah these people are really really good!!!!!!

I went for a piercing and. Had my daughter in law and grandson with me. The guy who does the piercing told my daughter in law to leave because no Children were allowed inside. He said it so rudely to her we were both shocked by his mean demeanor. Then he told me he was on a break for 45 minutes and I would have to wait or come back. Again very rude. His appearance was slovenly and his behavior was unprofessional. I would never go back there nor would my daughter in law. I will make sure I inform everyone I can about this bad experience.

I’ve been here many times. I got my 3rd’s pierced and my daith. Tuna is amazing. He talks you through everything and will explain everything needed. Today i went to get my daith piercing changed, and there was another guy working i’ve never seen before even though he said he’s been there for 20 something years. My piercing was obviously a little irritated. He was aggressive with taking it out and I said “ouch”. All he did is look at me and said “breathe”. I brought him the jewelry i wanted and he kind of just took it and was about to put it in without cleaning it. I told him to and he ended up doing it but still sanitation should be #1. He didn’t even clean me up after because he said “there’s no blood”.Other than this experience everything has been good. I love the front desk and the other 2 piercers they have.

Ive had three reject in the past due to poor quality metal and piercings make me nervous because of it, but Tuna and April both made me feel comfortable and it was really easy. The piercer is AMAZING! Ive had several piercings at several different places, but this man is by far the best! I got a pair of snake bites a few days ago, and I literally have little to no pain. The process itself was easy as well, he answered all my questions before I could even ask them, and the piercing itself was so quick. I breathed in expecting pain, and then it was done lol. Super friendly and nice service, and incredibly thorough with cleaning instructions.Most places I go to get piercings kinda spook me, because theyre either too casual or too professional. Little Johns is that perfect in between. I didnt feel like I was at some random guys house, but I also didnt feel like I was in a court house. Super relaxed environment that makes the experience that much better.Pricing was better than anywhere else I asked. Double snake bites was 70-80 something in total. Most other places wanted to charge me 60 each, so thats a total bargain for an amazing piercer. My mother got a helix for 40, which is also cheaper than most other places I asked. Would recommend to anyone looking for an easy piercing experience.

I highly highly HIGHLY recommend Little Johns for tattoos and for piercings. Back in October I got my nose pierced here and it was done extremely well with very minimal pain, and I was very comfortable in the environment. I also just got my first tattoo done by Dan, and to say I was nervous is an understatement. Dan talked me through everything and helped make me very comfortable with the process. Been wanting more piercings in my ears forever and I finally went after several great reviews of Little Johns and Tuna! I was not disappointed! Tuna was very professional, wore gloves, sanitized my ears and before I knew what happened, I had 2 piercings in each lobe! He explained his process, showed me a huge selection of gorgeous earrings to choose from, gave me a care sheet and recommended sea salt spray and told me how to care for my ears while healing. I have had my ears pierced with no luck in the past. They use that gun that pops, scares you and hurts like hell after. Tuna has his own method that is virtually painless and a whole lot faster. He was accurate with placement and he knows what he is doing. Afterwards, I looked at some of their tattoo notebooks and they are fantastic! They win my business hands down. Thanks, Tuna! Love the great job you did!

I went in for a tattoo, the artist started out kind, describing the tattoo and ink. Then while the tattoo the artist began to comments on my ethnicity and culture, not in a directly in your face way, but the subtle way, this went on for several minutes, and when the topic changed he began to be quite rude there as well. I was definitely not a place I can recommend to anyone for that alone. Its beyond sad to see this kind of stuff happening even today. The tattoo itself, the quality, ink, artists talent, itself was 5/10. Not the worst, but very far from top quality. Fortunately, there are several other shops in the entire area who you can try. I would recommend chatting with your artist for a few minutes and seeing thier vibes, along with a very deep look at their art, seeing how accurate they can do replications (even if its a simple one) before going.

Ive been to Little Johns several times over the years for both tattoos and piercings, but I continue to return for Tuna who is one of their resident piercers. With tons of experience behind his belt he has been nothing short of phenomenal each time Ive gone; hes knowledgeable, quick and hes helped me correct issues in the past caused by other piercers. I continue to recommend him to any friends and family who are looking to get new piercings done and will continue to do so.

Very polite, knowledgeable I got the top part of my ear pierced. No problems at all. Just make if you get a piercing that requires an earring back that you account for swelling. I was in pain until I took the back off. You dont need an appointment, very clean.

If I plan on getting anymore piercings locally, Im sure Ill probably go here. Had friends recommend this place for tattoos too and think they look really good as well.

I just needed to get some new jewelry. They have a sign on the door that you need an appointment for tattoos and piercings, but I didn’t think about calling ahead about jewelry. I was met at the door and told to hang on to let some people out of the shop before I came in. When I was waved in, the girls at the front were wiping stuff down. I had my navel piercing done by tuna almost a year ago, the receptionist was friendly but tuna seemed to be in a ill mood and was minimal help about my questions and concerns. I can get over that because we all have bad days at work and you can google the questions if really needed. My navel piercing was done without a clamp and took 3 painful pushes. I will include I was tense but as a professional that’s something that shouldn’t be a huge barrier. Not only that but it was done too high and on the surface causing it to reject according to a different reputable piercer in greensboro now i have a ugly scar. A shame because all my family done by him were done great.

I Came in the night before my surgery to have a retainer put in two of my piercings. I told the two front desk ladies exactly that and I was not asked to be put on the list, at the time of my arrival there were 3 other people waiting which was fine I could wait. 45 minutes pass and people who came in after me started To get served. Annoying but I needed the retainers so I had to wait, finally my turn came and when I told him I needed 2 retainers like I told the women already Tuna told me I had to get put on the list because “He was letting me cut as him being nice and he doesn’t have time for this”… it was well past my turn. I bought the retainers and drove 4 minutes down the road to Phoenix Tattoo where although Kim had a line full of people waiting he immediately helped me. It took about 30 seconds for him to put them in. I’ve always gone to Tuna for my Piercings but never again. I made sure to give Kim a large tip :).

Poor customer service from the piercer. What kind of customer service is shown if your supposed to be a credible business. Tuna is not a professional person and makes the business look bad. Handle a matter without screaming at a customer even as a woman if it wasnt placed in properly by you the jewelry should never come out at all if it was done well. Today my sister and I got piercings and the lady at the counter was so helpful and nice while we waited for Tuna, our piercer, to finish with another client. While waiting, we heard the client being extremely rude to Tuna. I got nervous thinking this would put him in a bad mood for when he pierced us but it was just the opposite. I could tell he was upset but he remained professional and calm throughout the exchange and then got ready to pierce us. He was so friendly even after the rude client. Went here to get a tattoo and sadly found out that they dont do walk in tattoos, BUT they do piercings and I finally got my septum pierced. The place was clean the staff were amazing and friendly, made sure that you were comfortable and reassuring you that its gonna be okay. ( which I really needed ) Im definitely coming back and I cant.

I got my lobes, helix and nose ring done by tuna and it looked amazing, i asked a couple questions which he gave dodgy answers to. fast forward and my nose ring completely falls out and i cannot find the back to it so i go back to them the next day. another piercer (topher? i believe his name was) takes a look and says it looks like it has closed a bit so that upset me a bit, but not their fault. tells me to come back in a month to get it repierced. i come back a month later get my nose ring redone and my second lobe piercings done by tuna. again. fast forward to NOW 5am, three hours of trying to get my second hold piercing back in because it fell out. idk if its something im messing up but from the way i had to tighten by nose ring because it looked loose after my visit, tells me maybe its not me. i dont recommend this place

Took my daughter here to get cartilage and nose piercing, told them wanted gold hoop and gold stud with no nickel so reaction would not be an issue just in case. Fast forward 2 months and we have a reaction developing from both. Went to professional body piercing and they stated the jewelry was not real gold, and that nose piercing was not even a nose piercing piece of jewelry!!!! Had a hard time getting piercing out because of what they used. Very disappointed that we were misled we trusted them to sell us the quality and product we asked for but found out differently.

My cousin and I just got our Tragus pierced by Tuna and the experience was amazing. He and Rebecca answered all 500+ of our questions. Their appointment system is awesome because you have an allotted timeframe, you’re not rushed and there are minimal patrons there at the same time. Ive been going to Little Johns since when they were on Lee St. back in 99-00. Tonight I was able to bring my son in to get his nose pierced and I was so happy to share this moment with my son at an establishment that Ive always had great memories at. Best piercing place ive ever been to. They were able to make me an appointment same day as i called and the piercer ran me through the process beforehand and made the tongue piercing nearly painless. He was very quick but still made sure i was informed on cleaning solutions and sent me home w a typed out care guide.

Im conflicted on how many stars to give. I went in for a tongue piercing. The piercer was super friendly and knowledgeable. Quick and easy and painless. He handled my nerves perfectly. Im docking stars bc of a sign up inside at the front desk. It said something about not loving others kids n was the reason y children were not allowed followed by an lol. It was very inappropriate and unprofessional in my opinion n made my best friend and I almost leave. I dont remember exact words but it was on blue paper posted on the desk.

They are always so nice and informative. I’ve been pierced twice here now. This past time I was feeling a little faint after my septum and they were so sweet and gave me water and a glucose tablet. Will definitely be back!

I have been going to little Johns for the last 14 years. I have tried other shops and artists, but still nothing like Little Johns. If you want to be treated right and have great artists with great conversation, then this is the place for you. The piercer was sweet when I first got my piercing but when I returned to get new jewelry a new piercer was present and all of the staff was generally rude and bad mannered. My friend returned there a couple months later and they were rude to her as well and very rough when piercing her nose.

I cannot remember the piercers name for the life of me. But he was absolutely phenomenal with my daughter. He did not sugar coat or lie to her telling her that It was not going to hurt. He was honest to her telling her it will be a pinch and be done. He was great with her and we will definitely be back.

Super friendly and professional. Never short-staffed and always willing to assist a potential customer (or a repeat client), i have a lot of work done by Donnie and Gabe and both of them are A+ ratings in my book. The piercer is also very friendly and funny. Doesnt slack around or try to reel you in to buy a more costly jewelry item if thats not what your intention is. And you honestly cannot beat the cleanliness of the shop and overall welcoming environment for those of age for the services offered. Theres a reason they are the primary host of the NC Tattoo Convention and have been for many many years. I personally would never recommend any other shop in Greensboro for piercings or tattoos

Little Johns is a well established tattoo parlor in Greensboro. You have an initial consultation to discuss what you want and where. An appointment is made along with a small deposit which is applied to your final balance. When you come back for your tattoo the artist will show you what theyve drawn. Once you approve they create the stencil and they begin. My artist, Laura Murphy, was both talented and professional. I am very happy with my tattoo. The atmosphere is professional and relaxing. I will be returning for future work.

They made me feel very at ease getting my first piercings. They were very nice and professional and i was in and out in 10 minutes probably less. Clean facility with down to earth people 10/10

My aunt and I went yesterday to get our rooks pierced and had an amazing expierence. Tuna was very helpful and quick. The prices are great and everyone was very kind and patient. Would definitely reccomend

The best place for tattoos and piercings. Honest great staff. All ready to answer any questions. When you have to book an apt up to 2 months in advance thats saying some thing about the demand of these awesome artists.

The artists and staff that work at Little Johns tattoo are always welcoming and friendly. There is some great talent that will do exactly what you want. I have chosen Annie Bella as my artist and really enjoy our time together and her expertise. I look forward to my next work of art by her sometime in the near future.

Went to Little Johns for my very first tattoo yesterday afternoon. I had heard good things about it from a family member but as this person had gotten their last tattoo over a decade ago, I was a little skeptical at first but decided to check out the shop first. Walked in, talked to the artists, had a look around, and that was all it took. It was a very clean and sterile environment. They were friendly, professional and helpful and gave me a much better price than I had even been expecting (not that I would go in expecting this but the artist even knocked off $10 on the quoted price because she said she had such a fun time doing it which just shows you what a great atmosphere this place has). My tattoo artist was Laura Murphy. I walked in with a general idea of what I wanted and a picture to base it on and she sat down and drew up a recreation tailored for the area that I wanted the tat and my skin tone (as I wanted a color tattoo). I was nervous but she made the experience bearable. I would definitely recommend this place and if I ever want to get inked again, Im going back to Little Johns!

Asked the lady on the phone how much was a little heart then she told me $6-$120 and then I asked her are people waiting in line she told me she had to see my tattoo.... so I went to the store at 11:15 and the store closes at 12 and I showed her the hand and heart and she said $80-$90 and then told me she couldn’t do it within 45 minutes the man standing outside on the phone all he had to do was come inside and do my tattoo. They told me to make an appointment and come back but I’m not coming back.

Very friendly, and funny people working there. Gabe did my tattoo. I gave him a picture that I thought was perfect and couldnt get any better and he took it to an entire new level. He far exceeded my expectations. He took the time to make sure everything was done perfectly and carefully. I wish I could have been able to give him a bigger tip than I gave him, because he blew me away. I will definitely have to come see him again.

Went here for most of my piercings, and I have had no issues with any of them, quality is great as well. Definitely reccomend to anyone wanting to get pierced.

Got my Industrial done today by Topher. He was very nice, walked me through everything and it was quick and easy. It was my first time coming into the shop so I was nervous but Im definitely going to come back again.

Excellent!! I will only go to Little Johns Tattoo, the artists,the piercers and the front staff are amazing! Was really pleased with their current artists, and really glad to see that certain ones where no longer their. Will not go anywhere where the artists think they are rock stars,or where their just plain rude. I would recommend Little Johns to anyway who want a amazing tattoo,by artist who truly appreciate you,and not just your money.

I got my second ear piercing done and I also got my nostril done. The guy that did it was so gentle and swear it didnt even hurt! I was so freaking nervous and he talked me all the way thru it. He was totally chill! I will go back if I need anything else done

Super clean, the staff is super friendly, and very reasonably priced! I got a septum piercing for $50 INCLUDING the actual jewelry. I absolutely recommend this place to anyone looking to get a piercing in Greensboro!

I strongly suggest that you stop and/ or never start patronizing this business. “Tuna” displays the poorest level of customer service that I’ve ever experienced. He raised his voice, interrupted me and disrespected me with his curt and aggressive tone. As a Pastor, Manager of a luxury brand and businesswoman, I take pride in handling ALL of my customers, clients, members and nonmembers with respect. Furthermore, I encourage and ensure that my team delivers extraordinary customer service. On the RARE occasion, that I CAN NOT solve the issues, concerns and complaints that are brought to my attention... I ALWAYS treat people with KINDNESS AND RESPECT! Working in the service industry requires effective listening, a desire to produce resolution and respect always.

I was getting Daith piercing in my left ear to help with migraines. I was SUPER nervous but Tuna did a excellent job. He was so nice and friendly.

I got my second ear piercing at Little Johns and Topher was great. He was so calm and kept me calm and happily made sure I loved the placement before piercing.
